Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Riku was glad to be sitting next to Sora..thought the group seemed strangely quiet when they got back. Sora was alittle embarassed, smiling though since he knew Riku was there. "So did you figure out where the keyhole might be?"Valerie asked.

 

Eden took out her maps, quickly, in a rough grace that meant you had to stay quiet. "Here. Salar de Uyuni. Mirror to the Sky. That is my first guess for a keyblade, it's a natural salt flat and if the weather's right, which judging by the overhead clouds may be, we will have a lake that shows an endless sky. It's big, it's natural, and it seems like the perfect place to hide a keyhole here. In a place no one bothers with because of all the areas surrounding it." Her gaze and mannerisms showed she was strict and final. Her eyes cast a deep glare, as if the wrong move would send her into a fiery rage similar to when the heartless were around and were put in a human inferno of fire.

 

"It sounds beautiful..."Sora said in awe. "Yes it does. So are we setting off now?"Valerie asked. Riku decided to take over alittle bit, even if it was just for a nod or for some of the distance. "Alright! Finnaly!"Valerie grinned. Sora groaned, knowing he was going to have to get back up.

 

"One more Keyhole to go!" Kairi said as she jumped up to her feet. Jeffrey stood up and stretched a bit, still tired despite his catnap earlier.

 

Sora tried his best to get back to his feet, having difficulty with his belly. "Alittle help?"he asked, blushing. Riku couldn't help but laugh, grabbing Soras hand. "There you go..."he helped Sora get to his feet. "ah...Thanks E-chan..."Sora was blushing slightly. Valerie noticed the way 'Eden' was acting around Sora. "Oi! Riku. Don't forget we need her to lead the way."she huffed. "I know, I know!"Riku rolled his eyes.

 

Eden grumbled in frustration as Riku took over without her permission, but sighed and allowed him more time "I believe you can read maps, Shadow. Try leadin the way for a bit. I need to rest".

 

"That was the plan. You needed the rest anyway with how much you've been on your feet..." "Alright! Everybody, foward!"Valerie giggled, starting to go foward. Sora stopped her before she wandered off too far. "Who's the leader?"he asked. "Oh, right..."Valerie sighed. "Alright everyone. Lets move."Riku went on ahead, carrying the map in case they got lost.

 

"I'll still feel the strain of my body when I go back in control... This is just a mental rest, as again I have dealt with much today. When we are close, let me know." With a few heavy sighs, and pained grunts, after much time the Earth's Pained Wielder of the Key slept within herself.

Gexln sliced through the last heartless, the creature itself dissolving into a mist of black vapour. He sighed. "Ah they just don't stop coming" he said. He sniffed at the air. "Darkness. Place reeks of it. But it's not coming from here...." he thought to himself. He opened a dark corridor to the centre of the darkness, or at least as close as he could pinpoint. He looked around for a moment, before realising where he was. The sign he had spotted assisted him. The sign read: "Salar de Uyuni"
"Now, to find this source and kill it. This should be interesting" he said to himself.

Gregory wiped a hand through his cold, dark black hair. He was walking along a road, the black t-shirt and blue jeans looking as normal as he could possibly be. He would've appeared like a regular kid, except for one thing. The top left of his sleeve was torn up. He let out a low chuckle as he felt a presence enter the location of Salar de Uyuni. "Well, another visitor. I think i should welcome them" he said coldly. He walked over a lone stranger in the distance, the stranger clearly standing out in his black coat.

Well at least we have one good guy(2?) at the keyhole(?)....I guess?XD

Riku kept foward, checking the map. Sora was suprised that the baby had calmed down when they had set off for the keyhole. But he gladly accepted it. Even though Riku was the leader, Valerie was in the front of the group with a pep in her step. "How many times do I have to tell you to not get too far ahead?"Riku grabbed Valerie by her collar. "Oh, Alriiight..."Valerie got back behind Riku, giving a small pout.

Suddenly Oblivion appeared in Sora's hand when it could tell they were starting to get close. "Already...?And we didn't even run into any heartless...?"Sora was a bit confused. "Maybe it's a trick?"Valerie asked. "a keyblade doesn't pull tricks. Only people..."Riku said.

 

Eden had rested silently for most of the walk, but could feel a tingle that jolted her awake. The reversed Kingdom Key flashed into Riku's hand, though it looked a bit like play-dough, trying to figure out what to do for the situation at hand. Was it going to fight offensively? Was it going to defend? Was it going to have the final slay or the privilege to seal the Keyhole? Finally, it settled on the the tingle of being near the Keyhole of which it's heart was so familiar with, and stayed at it's base: The Reversed Kingdom Key.

 

Riku looked at the keyblade in his hand, very confused at this point. Why are the keyblades acting like this...?he frowned. Sora looked at Oblivion, deciding to go foward. "Wh-Hey! Sora!"Valerie quickly followed. Riku snapped out of his trance and went back into the leader of the group.

 

Eden took back her control, quite forcefully really, to which her Keyblade mimicked her mood of fierocity and shifted to it's red heated form. "It's dry." she muttered, watching the long white dry land of Salar de Uyuni.

 

"Whoooooa...."Valerie and Sora said at once, both in suprise in awe. Riku saw Salar de Uyuni, amazed at the landscape.

 

OOC: Who do you mean?
(B?)IC: Hmmm....deserted. Kinda...unusual i guess.. he thought suspiciously. He then remembered the reason he had gone there. Darkness. Of course. That's why its deserted. Always darkness he thought. He walked slowly towards what looked to be a rabbit, intending to use it as food, when he realised he could hear loud footsteps, moving frantically closer and closer to him. He spun around quickly, only to be crash tackled onto the ground by a strange man.

Gregory got up, having tackled Gexln to the ground. He kicked him once for good measure, Gexln letting out a slight growl as he got to his feet. "WELCOME TO SALAR DE UYUNI" Gregory said with a laugh.

Gexln got up and grabbed his blade, looking at Gregory with curiousity and a menacing gleam in his eyes. "How old are you?" he questioned.
Gregory tilted his head in confusion. "Nineteen?" he answered, caught off guard by the question.
Gexln smirked. "Rather young to die" he said with a small chuckle, rushing straight towards Gregory.

 

Eden looked around, with none a Keyhole in sight. "So, any idea for rain?" She wanted to replicate what the Mirror to the Sky would be, hoping it would reveal the Keyhole.

 

"A water spell!"Valerie immediately suggested. "Do you realize how many water spells it would take?"Sora huffed. "I could send a thunderspell into the sky and hope that caused some rain..."Valerie suggested.

 

"Ethers. Don't you have those? Surely you do." Eden bitterly grumbled. This would take ages.

 

"Fiiine...."Sora said. He started casting a few water spells, hoping that would reveal the keyhole if he hit the right spot. Valerie grabbed Sora's bag, ready to pull out any ethers if Sora got tired. Riku watched how determined Sora was with a small smile. "Go Sora!"Valerie accidentally shot a thunder spell into the air. "Oops..."she frowned. The clouds rolled in to respond to the sudden lightning bolt, a light drizzle helping Sora's water spells.

 

Kairi summoned Destiny's Embrace and started casting water spells as well. Jeffrey put his hand over his eyes, hoping that it would stop his glasses from getting wet as the drizzle fell.
