Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Sora, please tell Riku that you're fine. He won't stop worrying and I'm not gonna have to calm him when he's in my own heart. It's just silly." She muttered, munching on her fruit. "If anything, try taking control a bit."

 

"I would if I knew how of knew if I even could..."Riku huffed. "Rikus being a worry wart? Well tell him that me and the baby are just fine asides from a few discomforts here and there."Sora had a gentle smile on his face. Riku couldn't help but smile, shaking his head. Stubborn as a goat....

 

"Stubborn as fire. As I am." Eden muttered to Riku. She munched a pear, remembering his distaste for them. "Oh, you're just like 10. He didn't like pears either." she munched on, thoughts distant, trying to distract herself from the recent events.

 

Jeffrey grabbed an apple and took a bit out of it. "Sorry, Doctor," he said to himself. He turned to Eden. "So where are going to search? We obviously can't split up again."

 

"Well Obviously we're sticking together this time."Valerie chuckled. Sora nodded, shifting slightly at the discomfort he was feeling. "Huh. That's interesting..."Riku smirked. He tried to see if he could try and have control. Not for now, but for a later occasion. After all, they needed Eden for now to know the way around.

 

Eden could feel Riku trying to take control, quietly concentrating on keeping herself to her body. " Not yet, Shadow. Right now be just that. A shadow."

 

"I know. I'm waiting for the right moment."Riku said. He sighed, kinda wanting to be with Sora. But he decided to wait patiently. "So! Are we going anytime soon?"Valerie asked. "Will you wait? We have to figure out the direction on which we're going first."Sora huffed. The baby was moving around roughly inside him, causing the discomfort. "You feeling okay there, Sora?"Valerie asked. Sora nodded, rubbing his stomach.

 

Eden sighed. " Sora, it won't get very warm up in these mountains. Just letting you know." She warned. She thought back, wondering if she had a map from earlier. "I'll go look for maps." With that, she headed out once more, the fiery red Keyblade in tow.

 

Sora sighed as Eden went off again, rubbing his belly. "Okay. Whats the problem? You look upset..."Valerie said. "I-It's nothing..."Sora muttered, blushing.

 

"Sure it is," Kairi said sarcastically. "Come on, you can tell us." She turned her head to Jeffrey. "Right?" "Uh..." Jeffrey stammered. "Yeah, you can."

 

Eden went around, noticing Bolivia wasn't as much of a tourist attraction compared to Brazil. So she settled for confusing maps of places local, and sparked any interest. "The mirror lake. Here." She took in the surroundings, pinpointing their location. "Salar de Uyuni." she read to herself. "It's umm... Route 4... and then to 1... cross to 603... and we're there." She started heading back, finding the nighttime chill creeping up on her. But this chill felt odder, and even smelled thin and dry with the cold. "This isn't right..." she muttered, her keyblade glinting to respond.

 

"Have you found any possible locations yet?"Riku asked.

"O-Oh no...It'd really nothing."Sora shook his head. "Tell uuuussss...."Valerie said. "I..I shouldn't bother you guys." "Tell us..." "But-" "Tell us, tell us, tell us!"Valerie huffed. "Okay then..."Sora took a deep breath. "I'm really starting to get self-concious about this whole pregnancy thing because guys don't normally have the kid and I feel like a freak, not to mention the big belly makes me feel like I can't do anything. I can't bend over, I can't sit down and its nuts!"he took another breath.

"And now my body is starting to feel really weird and I can tell because when I was using the bathroom-" "TMI" "ah, sorry. Anyway it felt like my hips were...well they're usually feminine but more-so than usual. Weird, right?" "uh-huh...." "And another thing is I'm not really sure I'd be a good father or mother or whatever I am. I'm like- almost 17 and 3/4s now, I'm alittle too young to be a mom."Sora was catching his breath. "Wow... Anything else you wanna add, poppet?"Valerie asked in a fake Brittish accent.

"Nope, I'm good..."Sora said, feeling the baby give a rough kick.

 

"There's the Road of Death, but given Sora's current condition I will not have us go near there unless it is absolute." Eden looked around, this chill was getting frosty, though the temp remained the same. "Must be a heartless..." she muttered. "Ri, you know better on how to deal with these, I'm allowing you control."

 

"Don't worry, Sora," Kairi told him, "you and Riku will be great fathers. And the baby will have a bunch of aunts and uncles to help, too!" "Yep," Jeffrey said. "You two don't have to take care of the baby all by yourselves."

 

"Alright..."As the heartless appeared Riku took control, summoning the red keyblade. "Alright, you little pests. This is for taking my body from me..."he charged into the Heartless, having no trouble slashing through them.

"heh...thanks guys..."Sora smiled. Valerie could see Sora squirm as the baby roughly kicked him. "You alright there?"she asked. "Y-yeah..."Sora grew more confident around them. "Baby's being rough... Last time it calmed down when Kairi was giving him or her affection..."Sora blushed at the memory. "Aaawwww, thats cute."Valerie giggled.

 

Kairi blushed. "Yeah, I guess he or she did..." "So what are Eden and Riku up to?" Jeffrey asked, deciding the change the subject.

 

"Probably ran into heartless trouble."Valerie watched as Sora plopped back to the ground to sit. "So Sora. Have you though of any names yet?" "For what...?"Sora tilted his head. "For the baby, silly!"Valerie chuckled. "Oh..um..N-Not really. I don't even know if it's a boy or a girl yet..."Sora was blushing slightly.

Riku easily finished off the heartless, giving a small smirk. "I see they saved the powerful heartless for the ambush..."he huffed.

 

"Probably..." Jeffrey replied, trailing off. "That doesn't matter," Kairi said. "You could always think of boy's name and a girl's name. That way, you have a name if you don't find out until he or she's born."

 

"T-That'd be good...um...I do have a few names for a girl."Sora was still blushing. "OOH! Tell us!"Valerie smiled. "Er.... Kouhai, Rhuna, Anna, Krysta, Amyra, and Kisa..."Sora listed all the name he had come up with. "Oooh, half of those actually sound good. Rhuna, Amyra, and Kisa."Valerie said. "Any for a boy?" "N-Not really..."Sora said nervously.

 

Eden took control back, not going to allow Riku too much control. Within minutes, she was back with the group, sitting next to Sora for the comfort of Riku. Her expression was cold and bitter still. It was hard to push away such events. She wanted to forget it, but no great darkness within her allowed that. It didn't even stir.
