Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Sora looked at the heart. "I understand..."he was a bit reluctant to give it up, but carefully gave it to Eden. Valerie was glad to see Sora had calmed down, hands going down from her hug. As her hands got to Sora's middle she felt a weak kick, eyes going wide in amazement. Sora felt relieved that the baby was okay after that stressful moment, having a small smile.

 

Eden blinked at Sora, unsure. "Are you sure it should be me? Not anyone else?" She wanted a final decision. After all, they were making a choice about life, not just who will get to hold the role of team leader.

 

"I already have one persons heart in mine.... I don't need another one..."Sora had heard about Ventus-and about Terra, Aqua...and Vanitas. He couldn't help but want to help the three friends be reunited. Valerie was still amazed that the baby was kicking, hands staying on Sora's belly in awe. Hey Kairi-chan, the babys kicking!"she couldn't help but smile.

Sora chuckled at the girls enthusiasm. Without a heartless to get the body back from, getting Riku back to his human self was going to be alot harder. Sora knew this, but he definately wanted Riku back...

 

Kairi couldn't help but giggle. "It's good that the baby's still around." Jeffrey scratched the back of his neck. "The Keyhole in China restored Eden's memories, right? Maybe the same can work for Riku's body."

 

Eden held the heart softly, bowing her head deeply to Sora. "Thank you, I will do my best to take care of it." To that, she pressed the heart against her own, hoping it would do what she wanted. It did, merging with her own. After a few painful winces and gasps, she could breathe easy again and feel the gentle rhythm of their hearts beating together. "I feel like a Time Lord now..." she mused, thinking a bit.
"Shadow... Shadow? Are you there? Answer!"

 

"Maybe. We won't really know until we try..."Sora said, feeling the baby become more active once it knew that everything was calm again. "So I guess we stay in one group this time to avoid another ambush..."Valerie didn't mind sticking together this time. At least then we wouldn't have to worry about to worry about many elixir highs with two responsible ones and a pregnant keyblade master.

It took Riku a while to answer, still shaking everything off. "Eden...? Wh-What happened?! The last thing I remembered were the White musrhooms that kepy giving us Elixirs and then...Nothing..."He was a bit confused. Sora was suprised to still be able to hear Riku. But it was only Riku due to the mind connection.

 

Eden sighed, wishing she could rest, but right now was not an option. "Riku, you are fine. I'm owing you for what you did to me. You became a heartless and I slayed you, and Sora allowed me to absorb you. I do hope you make yourself at home." she made faces to match her sentences, an uncontrollable habit. "Let's get going. I want us to rest at night, as the darkness is stronger then."

 

"Okee dokee Loki."Valerie said. Sora nodded, starting to head off. Riku was taking in what Eden told him, frowning. "I did it again.... I can't believe I lost myself to the darkness again..."

 

Jeffrey nodded, walking at Valerie's side. Kairi followed closely behind Sora. "Are you alright?" she whispered quietly enough to not be heard by the others.

 

"You were off guard, moron." Eden grumbled to herself, annoyed. "Look, let's go to a house, bunk in, sleep for the night." she looked to the setting sun, and the rumbling clouds coming in. "It'd be best, or if you want to get sick, fine by me, I'm still bunking." her words were a lot harsher.

 

"I guess I'm just alittle upset still.... I know Rikus still okay but...it hurts to know he doesn't have his body."Sora whispered to Kairi. He could feel a rough kick, rubbing his stomach. "At least the little ones still healthy and active..."he gave a small sigh. Valerie was looking at Sora and Kairi. "hmph. Kairi's so lucky. I'd LOVE to have a gay best friend. and she has Two."she gave a small pout. "and look at my hair! It took so long to grow it back out last time. Ugh, and I am so tired of walking. I wish the keyhole would just come to us instead of having to come to it."Valerie was more complaining then chatting as they kept going.

"We'll find a way," Kairi replied. "We always have." Jeffrey looked at Valerie. "There's no need to whine." He paused. "On second thought, forget I ever said that."

 

"Heeey, I wasn't whining, I was complaining."Valerie said with a pout. "Alright. Before any arguments break out I say we take a break and get some sleep. Its been a rough day for all of us."Sora said, alot more serious than his usual happy-go-lucky self. "Finnallyyy..."Valerie plopped onto the ground, yawning.

 

Eden glared at Valerie, wanting to strangle her for the comment. " You lost hair, Valerie. I nearly burned everything on me, and I saw two of my loved ones DIE today! One in my arms. So no whining unless you've lost more then I have." she hissed.

 

"Yes, mam..."Valerie muttered. "Valerie, don't get angry. She was only trying to get you to be more mature."Sora huffed. "Yes, mom..."Valerie said. Sora turned a light shade of red, hands going to his stomach.

 

Eden nodded, going to sleep. She would allow Riku to access her heart, sealing off a few things, but allowed him freedom to roam.

 

Sora stood against a tree, which confused Valerie. "C'mon Sora. Just sit down on the ground."she said. Sora sighed. "Alright...."He bent over as best as he could with his swollen middle, hissing in pain when he bent alittle too much. "wh-whoa!"with the extra weight Sora just kind of plopped backwards onto the ground. Valerie couldn't help but laugh at what she just saw.

Sora just turned a bright shade of red, hands going to his belly. He really felt pathetic that he couldn't even keep his balance without his pregnant stomach getting in the way.

 

Ooc: I thought pregnancies take like... I dunno, 9 months? Or at least a few to have the buldged stomach? I dunno, that's what I have always learned <B|
Bic: Eden kept still in her sleep, thinking of Riku in her half-drowsy state. "Hope you're getting well aquainted with your new home. It's going to be a while before we return you to a body. I had destroyed the heartless one." she coughed, thinking once more. "Only choice I had."

 

OOC:We're in August in RP time, and Sora's been pregnant since March in rp time, making him about 5 months along.

BIC: "You okay with your balance there, Sora?"Valerie asked. "Fine..Just fine..."Sora said, alittle annoyed. Riku sighed, not really minding being..stuck.

 

Eden silently observed Riku within her own mind, almost floating in front of Riku. "Hello, Shadow."She allowed her words to slowly sink in, unsure what her next words to be. "Now you know how it felt to be in my place." she walked over to a few memories, recent, of the attack. "I believe you should see this, as I think a Keybearer like yourself can teach me a few things."
