Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Just don't drink it. No wine, no ale, no mead." Eden huffed, landing the Gummi as it beeped more towards Port Royal. Landing down, she exited the ship. Her attire appeared grittier, and slightly frillier due to a tight black corset under loose red cloth. Wearing a red bandanna, she clicked her flat boots, waiting for her crew. "Well m'lads? Are you gonna stand in there all day? Eq, stay behind, watch my ship." To which the great bird crooned in slight despair.

Valerie came out, dressed in a white undershirt with ripped sleeves and an orange-ish vest and a brown bandana covered her head. "Gah, I look like one of those pirates that woudl run the crows nest."she huffed. Kurix came out dressed in a simple navy vest and pirate pants, Roxas coming out with the same design but a tan vest. "well, this is interesting."Roxas said. Kurix just looked at his outfit, not really impressed. "So, do we have a heading?"Riku gave a small chuckle when he saw the group. He was wearing a long black coat with a long sleeved white undershirt. He wore dark brown "piratey pants" as Valerie would call them with black boots with the traditional captains hat over his head. "I believe the position of captain has changed in this world, lassie."Riku smirked, bowing with his hat. "Showoff."Valerie huffed. Sora peeked out from the window, giggling a bit at the pirate costumes.

 

"Captain of your ship, lad, but I still own my crew." Pursed lips spoke this with some venom as the Earthling ungraciously sighed. "So, shall we go and pick up some supplies? We will need a lot of things for our journey to the furthest part of this universe."
ooc: And no, no homestuck(maybe but now debating but this is one universe, others would hold other worlds and verses with their own set of rules)

 

"ah, of course..." "So where are we?"Kurix asked, looking around. Roxas took one look around, only to yelp in suprise as two drunken sailors landed in front of the group in a drunken brawl. "My guess? Tortuga."Valerie said, eyeing the drunken sailors and the... 'lovely' woman walking around. "Ugh, why did we have to land at this port..."Riku groaned. "hey, we can still get supplies."Kurix said optimistically.

 

"Ah, Gentlemen, gentlemen!" Opening her arms up wide, she walked briskly at the drunken brawl with such enthusiasm. It was odd, to say the least. "Please, my fine handsome men, might you direct a lovely lass like me to the market?" Though she wasn't the prettiest or "sexiest of the females out there, the Pyro hoped that their drunken and most notably black bruised eyes would mistake her for something attractive.

 

"ah, of course." "An' let ush know if you need some'in more 'en a tour, pretty lady!" "Well, this is degrading."Valerie said. "I wonder why we had to land here..."Riku said. He saw someone that looked sober going around the port, alittle curious. "You go on ahead. I'll get supplies myself for our gummi ship."Riku he said. "But what about me?"Valerie asked. "Behave until I get back to you guys."Riku said, then respectively went off. "Where's he going?"Kurix asked. "Heck if I know."Roxas said.

 

With a smirk, Eden patted each of the drunkard on their clearly balding heads. "Thank you dear." With a sweet tone, she left off, going to a quite busy market to spy on the gossipers and the marketmen.

 

Valerie sighed, but then realized something as they were about to follow Eden. "Whats wrong? nervous around all these pirates?"Roxas asked. "We don't have any money..."Valerie said. "....and?"Kurix asked, tilting his head. "we need money to buy supplies...right?"Valerie asked. "Well, we could catch it ourselves, trade, gamble for it..."Roxas shrugged.

 

The Pyro bit her lip, searching the markets for anything that looked familiar. "Stealth was never a trait of mine...." she mumbled with annoyance, smelling ale and fresh meat coming from a small building.

 

Valerie had Roxas and Kurix, walking on her own to find supplies. "Maybe we can ask someone..."Roxas suggested. Kurix nodded, going up to one of the women. "Um, excuse me-"The lady scoffed before giving Kurix a clean slap across the face. She gasped at her mistake, Kurix hissing in pain. "Oh, I'm sorry! I thought you were someone else!" "no problem..."Kurix shook off the slap. "Miss, could you tell us where we could find some fruits or herbs at least?"Roxas asked.

 

"We're in a place with pirates, people who sail the seas, and you're asking for fruits and herbs? Your stupidy amazes me sometimes, really. Have you never heard of fishing?" Gexln questioned, shaking his head in dissapointment. He headed off towards the harbour.

 

"I told you it was a dumb idea."Valerie said. "Hey, I tried."Roxas huffed. Kurix was still shaking off the slap. "I tooold yoooou."Valerie said. "Oh, real mature. what are you- 10?"Roxas shook his head. "If you two are done fighting, we still have to get supplies."Kurix said, looking around. "So where did Riku go anyway?" "Beats us."Valerie said. "Don't know, don't care."Roxas stated.

 

While the buffoons were getting lost among produce, Eden was doing the smart thing and checking out the dried meats they had. "So, you say the meat is fresh?"
"Aye, its hangin' ain't ye?" The burly butcher grunted, hanging up some links of dried sausage.
"Aye, true true, but I cannot fathom this thick odor within here." To which the Pyro wrinkled her nose. "Pigs' blood is to be cleaned off." she mused. "Ain't no place for a butcher so dirty, I'll go buy elsewhere."
"Wait!" And That sent a little smirk tugging at her cheeks. "We have uh... some cured meats in the back, duck and beef."
"Excellent. Good boy." she patted him on the head, sending an aggravated grunt her way from the butcher.

 

Valerie was close to just looking on her own when they passed by a tavern where a drunken idiot was thrown out. "Whaddya mean the rums all gone?!"The man reeked of alcohol. "Ye drank it all, you rotten bilgerat!"the guy that tossed the drunk out was furious. Valerie couldn't help but giggle as they passed the scene. "Why is the rum always gone..."she smiled at her little joke.

 

Walking further into the back of the butcher's, the Pyro wrinkled her nose at the ever-growing scent of blood. "This place is a plague waiting to happen!" she grumbled. "I'm leaving!" she grumbled, walking right out of the place before her hand was yanked.
"Ye ain't goin anywhere lassie..." The pirate grinned with obviously rotten teeth.
"Then you have 10 seconds to let me go or I will burn you." she scoffed, bringing out a card from the tarot deck Merryweather had bestowed upon her. It was the King of Cups. "Hot wax ought to do."

Valerie saw Riku approach the group. "And just where have you been?"she asked, hands on her hips. "Getting you your adventure craving over with before we do nothing at all for a while. I was following the only sober guy in this port and found out that theres a ship with black sails abandoned on an island. and you know what a ship with black sails means."Riku said. "Pirates!"Valerie and Kurix said at once. "and just how are we getting there?"Roxas asked. "I managed to get us a ship. With the four of us and Jeffrey and the girls we can take the ship ourselves."Riku smirked.

"What about Eden?"Kurix asked. "We'll be back before she and Gexln know it!"Riku said. "Yes!"Valerie jumped in excitement.

bic: There was a great scream in another part of the market, along with a set of laughs and quick steps. She ran straight past Riku and his party, the running figure very visible.

 

Gexln spun around quickly, trying to determine where the scream was. Where there was screaming, there was almost always a good fight to be had. He sprinted off in the direction of the scream.

 

Currently there was a slew of swears and derogatory slang coming from an angry butcher with a very red arm. It looked as if burned by something. He was chasing after the Pyro of Earth, who was almost screaming with some sort of ill laughter.

 

Gexln skidded to a halt. "What the hell happened here?" he asked Eden, struggling to supress a laugh at the sight of the angry butcher.
