Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Gexln didn't turn to look at Sora. He was mad at Xikari for reminding him about Eden's heart. "Put her down? You got it" Gexln said. With one swift movement, he raised Xikari slightly higher, then brought her and the coffin of darkness crashing onto the ground with enough force to potentially break some bones, and render her almost useless, but to live.

 

Eden was surprised to feel the sudden thud of Xikari, but sighed still. There was no light, and with a body of shadow, she couldn't do anything but pray Gex was okay, and she'd be able to see the shadow's of the world soon. Soon... soon things will be right, I hope. Let's hope that my attempt to make Sora the Master wasn't in vain.

 

Sora and Riku both gasped in shock. "You... You will...pay..."Xikari muttered, trying to drag herself up. Despite her injuries, she was refusing to go down. She finnaly gave in, collapsing. "I..I am such a disgrace..."she frowned. Xehanort wasn't going to be happy with her....

 

Gexln walked over to Xikari and gave a swift kick to teh stomach. "You're pathetic" he insulted. He looked at Sora. "You. Figure out a way to get rid of the rainclouds. That'll be your first duty as the new master" he stated.

 

"Why did you do that?!"Riku was a mix of confused and enraged. Sora looked up to the sky. "Wind!"He shot an aero spell, the clouds being swirled away like nothing. "Well, that was easy..."Sora wasn't expecting it to work. Xikari was quiet, knowing that she had failed.

 

"Why did i do what? You expect me to just let her get away?" Gexln retaliated.

 

With the sun out again, Eden was visible as the shadow of Gexln. "Thank you Sora. And thank you Gex, for making sure the broad doesn't try to take me back." With that, you give her shadow a great kick. "What should we do with her? Take her to Xehanort?"

 

Gexln chuckled quietly. "Yeah, lets show Xehanort just how badly she failed" he said coldly.

 

Xikari looked at the Gexln, snarling. Riku groaned, trying to comprehend who this person was. "Wow... how is she still alive...?"Sora didn't want to get too close.

 

"Probably could've killed her. I still think i should have, but i think she'll be able to help us..so Eden, to Xehanort?" Gexln asked.

 

Eden visibly cringed at the idea of going back to Xehanort, but a visible thumbs up was her response. "Ready as I will ever be.... And Sora? We'll try to bring Terra back. I saw his body and heart there, when he tried to store me."

 

"Okay.... We'll work on finding a way to weaken Xehanort. Try not to get yourselves killed."Sora said. "So, you taking her with you? I don't think she'll be much of a problem like this."Riku looked at Xikari, only to have the dark one spit at him.

 

"It is how we'll show our strength... By defeating one of his minions." Eden sounded a bit worried by that statement, again, being visibly shaken.

 

"One of them? well, lets hope she's the only one."Sora said. "Though its weird. Valerie seemed to recognize her."Riku said. "Is it safe to come out yet?"at the sound of her name, Valerie peeked out of the gummi ship.

 

Eden, though her 2D shadow form, waved at Valerie, in some small hopes she could see it. Looking back to Xikari, she kicked the shadow to which it was quite visible she jerked in pain.

 

Valerie came out, looking at Xikari. "Wow... what happened to her?"she asked. "Gexln. She's one of Xehanorts minions."Riku said. "What? But in the st-"Valerie paused. "The what...?"Sora asked. "Nothing. Just something in the past."Valerie said.

 

Gexln looked at Valerie suspiciously, but said nothing. He then looked down at Xikari. "If someone has a binding spell, or a rope, or some other way we can keep her from moving, i'll take her to Xehanort right now" he said simply.

 

Riku nodded, holding out his hand. "Bind..."constricting vines wrapped around Xikari to keep her still. "Learned that one ourselves. Pretty cool talent, huh?"Sora couldn't help but gloat. Valerie shook her head.

 

Eden pondered over why Valerie wouldn't reveal what they already knew? "If she won't speak, should I clarify what Xikari is instead? And no Doubt Xehanort may have six more like here, with other names. Wolf, Kiarai.... some names I remember." Waving it off like it was light news, nevertheless her voice had a nervous tone to it.

 

"How does she know who Xikari is...?"Riku looked over to Valerie. "Well, she knew Kurix too. Maybe its like Ashir with Eden."Sora suggested. "Yeeeah, something like that...."Valerie muttered.
