Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Only one of Earth's six keyholes remains. While the Keybladers were unable to seal Australia's, the remaining four were successfully sealed. But in addition to saving Earth, the team still has other things to worry about. For Sora and Riku, one of those things is their Mark of Mastery exam...

OOC:To explain everything that happened in the original for the people too lazy to read everything.

When the Heartless started to invade the survivors started to try and get to safety, packing necessities and sometimes personal belongings. On a gummi ship our keyblade trio arrived, Sora, Riku, and Kairi. On the way they picked up our survivors one by one. During which, an icident between Eden and another survivor caused Eden to become a heartless. Her heart, which managed to be saved by a mysterious Nobody, was then connected with Rikus until Edens body could be saved.

The first keyhole was found in St.Louis, gaurded by a large beast. After a sudden seperation, the group managed to regroup when they suddenly were teleported to Australia. However, due to a lack of focus from some of the group, they had lost the keyhole to the darkness. After which, Eden had managed to get her body back, but managed to develop a case of amnesia. The third keyhole was found in Italy, hidden in the Roman Colliseum. During the stay in Italy, the keyblader Sora started to show signs of sickness-which concerned and confused everyone.

During the trip to the keyhole, a scan spell showed Sora with a green aura, but what it represented at the time was a mystery. After an ambush from sealing the keyhole, the group was seperated. Kairi, Andrew, Sora and Nox were in Egypt, where Sora and Kairi fought two chimera's to seal the keyhole hidden in the great Sphinx. The rest had ended up in China. During the boat ride, Riku used a spell book along he had brought for the journey to get some answers.

The green aura in the scan spell represented fertility, meaning that somehow the keyblade master Sora was pregnant.... Concerned for Sora's health, Riku used a mind connection spell to link him and Sora. When they arrived at the location of the hidden keyhole, the group meet up with the mysterious nobody-revealed to be a man named Nexas with some connection with Eden. The keyhole was located in a chamber, in a mysterious pool of water. Eden had fallen into the water, somehow regaining her memories.

Once both keyholes were sealed, there was a great reunion between the two groups. Sora told a story of how an enchantress cast a spell on his ancestor long ago- and that ever since the males of his fathers side of the family had been able to...reproduce. Whether it was magic or some mysterious science is still unknown.Now- the reunited group is heading to Bolivia, where the 6th and final keyhole is theorized to be located.

But is it really where the final keyhole is located? Only time will tell....

Bic: Eden smiled at Sora's bland answer. So all he feared of was the fact he was a bit wider? "I've never been quite fit myself, though differen reasons mind you... But you have another being growing within you. And I do want you to realize what kind of world it'll be born into though." her tone and face darkened. "Sora, you have a home that is beautiful and wonderful. Most of us can't say the same. We're refugees, running away from darkness. You realize this yes?" her eyes looked more tired then before the amnesia point, the bags darker under her eyes, but her body more defined. The trip had been affecting the Earthlings. Where fat was, muscle tones started to show from the constant stress and running, and the lengthened periods of time between meals. "I am grateful, though... Between us, I really despise the keyblade for reasons like this."

 

Sora nodded with a small sigh. "I understand your feelings. honestly there are times I wish none of this happened...that the 'keyblade' never existed.... But it happened, and it does. But this time...this time I want to make sure none of this happens again."He said, full of confidence. "here, here to that."Valerie said, overhearing the statement of confidence.

 

Eden shot daggers at Valerie to ruining her private conversation. "Well, I remember... When you were in Traverse Town? Do you remember what Leon said, that the Keyblade attracts Heartless? Literally, you guys are a blessing and a curse."

 

"I know...."Sora frowned. "I just hope that if we defeat Xehanort....The keyblade won't have a purpose anymore. Everything would go back to normal.... Because as long as the keyblade is around the Heartless and everything else will just keep coming back."Sora sighed. Riku said nothing, watching the scenery go by as the gummi ship was on auto pilot.

 

"How long do you think it'll be until we can see the islands again?" Kairi asked, sitting down next to Riku.

Jeffrey yawned. "I hope we can get some sleep once we're done with South America."

 

"We can't really tell as of now.... But it may take some time..."Riku said to Kairi. "Ugh...Sleep, we need it."Valerie huffed. "If you want, you can have an elixir. They really give you a boost of energy...."Sora explained, going over to his backpack for an elixir. "an...elixir? How do they taste?"Valerie asked. "Amazing..."Sora and Riku said at once.

 

Eden didn't take the offer. "Only save those for fights. Right now we just need more rest. Sora, I suggest that especially for you." she strided over to the window, though her gaze temporarily settled on the slumped, sleeping form of Nexas. "I hope he remembers how to talk like we used to do..." she muttered.

 

"Don't worry. Elixirs are a rarity to get, so I saved up as many as I could get. which is...quite a few."Sora explained, passing Valerie an elixir. "I wonder why Elixirs are so rare to get though...."Riku frowned. Valerie took a sip of the elixir, immediately perking up at the flavor and the rush of energy that came back to her. "Deliciooous...."she smiled at the amazing flavor of the elixir. "Told you so."Sora chuckled.

 

"Well, either way, Megalixers are the really rare ones, though let's just save them all." Eden grumbled, annoyed at being ignored. "Besides, we don't know what the keyhole of South America will lead us to. Maybe a big heartless."

 

"We'll be prepared!"Sora and Valerie said at once. Riku shook his head, smiling at the duos confidence.

 

Andrew approached Eden slowly, almost tip-toeing. "E-Eden," he timidly said. "Is that you?" Of course he knew who she was: her dark brown hair, teal and brown glasses, and mild completion made her easy to spot from a mile away. What he meant was if it was actually Eden, as a person. He had heard that she became a Heartless, then soon had amnesia. He was afraid to speak with her because he thought she wouldn't remember him. The feeling of being forgotten by his best friend made him feel terrible inside.

 

Eden glanced up from her watching Nexas to Andrew. "Oh, hey there midget." she grinned, standing up and ruffling his hair. "World's a bit rough ain't it now? Sorry I worried you, little badger." her eyes seemed to have a sad gloss over them, and the smile looking bleak.

 

Sora had gone back over to Riku. "How's your back...?"he asked. "Fine... still alittle sore..."Riku said. Valerie had enough of the Elixir. "anyone want the rest?"she asked. Sora and Riku shook their heads. Sora gave a sudden gasp, which suprised Riku a bit. "What's wrong?"Riku asked in a concerned tone. "N-Nothing. Little one just moved around alittle too rough..."Sora said. "Are we there yet?"valerie asked suddenly, ruining the calm moment.

 

((OOC: I wanna thank AnimeGirl for that wonderful summary at the begging; Notice how Eden is mostly talked about in it? XD And I guess we're on the ship toward our final keyhole, then perhaps this whole RP is over or star a new plot about traveling worlds? I hope this a good comeback! You can blame Tumblr for my absence.))


Ellen couldn't beleive how much had happened so far. Life seemed to be more packed with action,full of magic and completely adventurous. She was currently barely getting up; sleeping felt so good, especially after how long she had just done. Mostly she was lying down, blanking out or in her dream world where she and her sword communicated; her blade wasn't so social though. But the scenery was amazing, full of lush greens. She fixed her hair into a high pony-tail, shoved her beany into her pocket, slid her glasses on and went on her way out the door.

 

Eden didn't even turn to Ellen before she addressed the sword bearer. "Ellen, we're in a Gummi. I suggest we not go out until we land in Bolivia?"

 

OOC:Sorry about the lack of explanation with other characters, program. Not much happened with the others that didn't involve the non-active rp chars and I didn't wanna confuse anyone.

But anyway after sealing the last keyhole we DO start the traveling to other worlds. We have the Mark or Mastery Exams for Sora and Riku and then....well, we'll see as the plot develops.:3

"Are we there yet?"Valerie was starting to grow bored in the gummi ship. "Not yet. Just wait..."Riku said. Sora had a hand over his stomach with a look of suprise on his face, though he tried to hide it.

 

Ellen gave an extremely confused look. "Where in this world is Bolivia?" she frowned slightly. Her body and mind were slightly slow from her small hibernation; she cracked a few of her bones.

 

"We gotta at least be past Hawaii by now," Jeffrey remarked. "Bolivia can't be that far away from China by Gummi."
