Kingdom Hearts Roleplaying Thread [OOC]

This will be based on Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II only.

Here's how this works.

I'll be Donald and Goofy, but I need people to be Sora and the world characters, as well as enemy bosses, such as Darkside.

This will basically follow the same elements of the games. We'll start and go through Kingdom Hearts and then move on and start Kingdom Hearts II.

To give an example of how this will work, I'll use the final Pete battle in Timeless River for a brief example. (Even though I don't type it in, we'll just say he does the scenery changes.)

Summary: We'll just be doing bosses, no in-between. Think of it as an extended Olympus Coliseum.
So we'll start with Darkside, and when it's defeated, we'll go to Guard Armor, then Trick Master, etc.

Spoiler: Example Battle

*battle starts*

Pete: Wahah! *throws ball bomb*

Sora: *Guards and attacks Pete*

Donald: I got it! *uses Donald Thunder*

Donald: Aah! *uses Donald Thunder*

Pete, counterattacking from the combo with the stomp attack, says, "Get out of my way!" and stomps.

Sora jumps out of the way, but Donald and Goofy get hit.

Donald: Aaah!

Goofy: Owaaa!

Sora combos Pete again.

Pete: Get out of my way!

Donald and Goofy get hit again.

Donald: Wah!

Goofy: Aah!

Sora combos Pete again.

All three get get hit.

Sora: Ugh!

Sora took damage from the hands moving back and forth before the stomp attack that the stomp attack puts him into low HP.

Donald and Goofy also get hit.

Donald: Owwwwwwww! *falls into low HP*

Goofy: Somebody come quick! *falls into low HP*

Donald: Sora! *uses Donald Cure*

A few minutes later, his MP recharges

Donald: Okay! *uses Donald Cure*

A few minutes later

Donald: Goofy! *uses Donald Cure*

Pete: I'll show you! *throws the small, exploding bombs*

Sora jumps, Goofy's shield reflects them

Donald: Waaaah! *gets hit*

Sora combos

Pete: Get out of my way!

Sora and Goofy are out of range

Donald: Owwwwwww! *falls into low HP*

Donald: Yeah! *uses Donald Cure*

Sora combos

Pete: Get out of my way!

Sora: Ugh!

Donald: Aaaah!

Goofy: Owwwaaaa!

Sora combos

Pete: Get out of my way!

Sora is out of range

Donald: Owwwwwww! *falls into low HP*

Goofy: Somebody come quick! *falls into low HP*

Sora combos

Pete: Get out of my way! *stomps*

Sora falls into low HP

Donald: Ahh... *gets knocked out*

Goofy: Sorry, fellas. *gets knocked out*

A short while later

Donald: Wah! *revives*

Goofy: Come on! *revives*

Sora: Donald! *uses Fantasia Limit Break*

*battle ends*

That should be enough of an example.

Not a bad start, but I suggest taking a look at this thread before continuing.

You need a lot more information here, even though you state it will be a KH role play and follow the game. I'm going to move this to the OOC section so that you can develop it further and talk about it with other members there. :]

Also, I'm for 'alternative' style role plays like turn-based and stats and junk, but I hope you aren't planning on typing it out in script-format. ​

 

I'm not sure how much more in-depth I can go. I think I got everything covered.

Also, I'm not sure what you mean in your final paragraph.

 

You're missing an actual story. (Though it'll be KH and KH2 based, it helps to include a summary of what will actually be going on, for people who aren't as familiar with KH, or really don't know the story [yes, it's possible on a KH forum. xD], but still want to join.

For example, you should explain where you'll start out in the RP, or the different worlds, keyblades, all of that junk. You don't have to go into such detail but the more info the better. You can even copy pasta from KH Wikia or something and credit to them. Just so that there's something here to go off of.

A character sheet. (And/Or a list of characters from people to chose from.)

And a list of Rules, essentially.



I mean that role plays with the;

Someone 1: *hits*

Someone 2: Ow. *hits back*

Format aren't allowed. As long as there's some depth like,

"Someone 1 walked over to Someone 2 and hit him on the shoulder. etc, etc."

Ehhh. I can't explain it very well. xD There just shouldn't be any "*"'s in your RP.

 

I've added a story summary and fixed up the example battle a little.

 

Okay. Um. Yay. Now time for a list of characters so people know who's taken and who they can join as, (as more people start to join) and some rules, bro. Also, are you allowing OC's? Which are 'Original Characters' people make up?
