Kingdom Hearts kingdom hearts remake!!!!

I apologize if this thread has already been created
but today i went to gamespot to check the price of reserving kh days
and the employe there and I began talking about the series and he told me that supposewdly they are going to remake kingdom hearts for the ds. but still i am not sure if this is true.

That would be...weird and pointless. I hope it's not true, because the game only came out seven years ago for PS2. Why make it on DS? Maybe he was talking about 358/2 Days?

 

I really doubt that, because Kingdom Hearts is perfect enough on PS2. It couldn't be as good on DS, so it'd be a downgrade if that happened. Like Kairimagic said, he was probably confused between some Kingdom Hearts games, or other games.

 

Final Fantasy VII came out for PS1 years ago and arguably has the largest fanbase of any Final Fantasy game, and they won't remake that. If you ask me, Kingdom Hearts is even less likely.
My guess is they'll keep putting out sequels for a while, but they won't do a remake of the original -- or at least, not for a very long time.

I can't see them ever doing that.

 

Maybe in 10-20 years from next thursday they'd remake it for PS10 with Godly graphics. That'd be the day LOL.

For DS, well, I'd stick with my PSP. I think if they used the Touch Pad to move like in Prince of Persia Fallen King it'd be kinda interesting. Then again, that might just be Days.

I agree. They don't need a remake of the game.

 

Remaking the first or second KH games would serve no purpose. They will downgrade the graphics, etc. The only advantage will be their portability, but that can't be worth it.

 

It would ruin the charm. It looks the best on the playstation 2, because it has perfect controls. i couldn't imagine seeing it all on two screens either, there's nothing needed on the touch screen

 

to be honest i do not think it would work at all cuz when they made reCom i was thrilled but no one else near me at all when i went to a gamestop they had like 50 used copies after like the first few days it seems that where i live that no one likes this series they are to busy playing cod5 or halo3 or fallot 3 etc.. to care about this series so i could only imagine how bad it would be with a remake of the first one....although i would buy it i do not think many people would.......

so where i live it went downhill FAST

 

if they ever make a remake on a hand held it would probably be in like 5 years and be on the next new hand held . but to tell you the truth it would be kinda cool to play it any time but sitll it would look kinda bad on a hand held.

 

Weve learned before just how "reliable" information from most gamestop workers is, this isnt true in the least, a remake itself is highly improbable, but and even less probable is one for the DS

 

why would they make a remake for the ds when the games where basicly based on the ps2 but re:com was just for graphics
