Kingdom Hearts: Quiet's End

Kira smiled. "I am Kira, and I am here to forever serve the Darkness by releasing it into the worlds. I intend to have this world as my base, for the Shadow's Order, and I'm also looking for more followers. You wouldn't perhaps be interested in helping us, would you... I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch your name."

 

He smiled wickedly, which was visible considering his mouth was about the only part of his face not hidden by the hood. "The darkness huh? I know that too well. Alright, i'll join you. As for my name...call me R" He answered, then gave a warning as his smile faded. "Just so you know, if you're going to spread the darkness, you'll likely encounter a keyblade wielder named sora and his friends. Don't take them lightly. Underestimating them will be your downfall.

 

Kira stopped smiling at the mention of the fool who had eluded Darkness all those years ago. "Yes," she said quietly, almost as if she were talking to herself rather then R. "I must take care not to underestimate him... He is strong, and the Light bends to his will. But if you take away some of his Light, he will lose the rest trying to regain that which we took." She paused, thinking. "Yes... we must take away some of his light."

 

Beucefilous walked in at the mention of taking away the light. "Two things. One, Who's the dude in the rockin' coat? And two, i got an idea for that whole light taking away thing. He said.

R turned to him slightly confused at him calling the coat 'rockin' but remained silent and let Kira talk.

 

Kira looked up as Beucefilous came in, coming out of her apparent daze. "Beucefilous, this is R, the newest member of our Order. And I'm listening, how would you plan on taing away Sora's Light?"

 

Ok, here's the plan. We grab one of his kids while he's there..and we kill it. then we leave. I know right? it's the best plan ever. Beucefilous said smiling at his plan.

 

Kira smiled at Beucefilous's plan, and how similar it was to her own. "Actually," she said. "I was planning on kidnapping both of his children after he's gone, and teaching the boy to embrace the Darkness, and as his final test, to plunge a keyblade into the heart of his sister. That," she said with a flourish, "Will destroy him."

 

"Oh...well actually yeah that's a better plan..." He said rolling it over in his head.

R began to speak. "If i may make a suggestion, i say we make him murder his sister right when that idiot comes running to save them." He said with a slight chuckle.

 

Kira looked up. "Well now..." she said. "That's an idea..." She thought it over, yes, that would be best. "I agree, R. You certainly belong here in the Order."

 

"Thank you. I believe they should be sleeping at the moment so now would be the ideal time to move." R suggested. She's just like her.... their personalities are very similar. We have a second maleficent. And we'll soon have another Riku. R thought to himself.

 

"No," Kira said. "Sora and Riku should leave the Islands in the morning, leaving the two children with Kairi. To try and get at them now, while they are protected by the two Keyblade Masters would be foolish. No, better to wait until the only one between us and the prize is the girl."

OOC: Sorry it's taking so long for Sora and Riku to get started. I'm waiting fo Steven to post.

 

R thought about it for a moment. Then finally said. "True..but if we take them out from under his nose, it'll break him down all the more. Knowing he was there and still failed to protect them."

"Oh yeah. I think i have an idea. if i hold his wife hostage, they'll be busy with me, leaving you two to go for the kids. But it's your call Kira." Beucefilous told her

 

Kira thought for a moment, considering all the possibilities. "Alright," she said finally. "I think you're right. Beucefilous, you go attack Kairi. Xero, you go with him. While I don't doubt your skills, I wouldn't expect you to take on the three of them alone. In fact, I think I'll come with you, even up the playing field." She summoned her Keyblade as she spoke. "And R, you get the children and bring them back here. Are you all ready?" She looked around at the small group, she had complete faith in them. That, she believed, was vital for their goal. Organization XIII had been a good try, but there was too much betrayal and mistrust among the group. They hadn't needed Sora to destroy them, they were doing a good enough job killing eachother. If she trusted each of her members completely, and showed that they also could trust her, they would share a bond as strong as the bond that tied together the three heroes of Light.

In a small house in Destiny Islands, the small family slept fitfully. Mitsuko had a dream that she was falling through nothingness, while Hitomu dreamed that he was watching her as she fell. Riku was awake in the guest room, pacing back and forth, while Sora and Kairi both lay awake, each thinking the other slept while they thought of the morrow. They didn't want to be seperated again. Finally, Kairi got up and walked out to the beach, she didn't want to stay in that stuffy room any longer. Sora turned as she left, and almost got up to follow her, but decided against it. Sometimes it was best to let her be alone.

 

The barrier soon faded when Beucefilous left the mansion. "Whew, glad I made it out of that alive." Shane said looking around for any traces of them. Seeing nothing, he decided that he's spent enough time here at Twilight Town and left the mansion. On the way out he use his keyblade to open a doorway that led to another world.


Put him in despair, and his spirit will weaken. Xero thought as he heard their plan come to together. He had his own plans for weaking Sora, but if everyone else's plan worked. Then all he would have to do is weaken Sora's spirit further.

 

"Cool." Beucefilous said with a slight smile "Now i finally get to see you fight." With that, he opened a dark corridor leading to the islands and stepped through.

R stood there for a moment. If one of them figured it out he would likely have to fight them alone while the other two stayed and fought. He wispered something under his breath. "Shadows can be fiercer than those who cast them..." It was a memory of something long past but one he held onto. Reassured, he followed through the black portal .

 

"Considering who were fighting,it may be too easy." Xero said following behind Beucefilous.


The doorway Shane had opened led him to a Sandy beach. He took a look around and saw nothing that looked like a threat. Looks like I final found a peaceful world. Maybe I'll stay here for a bit. With that, he started walking around the beach,to see if he could find anyone else.

 

R turned to Xero with a scowl on his face. "Didn't you hear what i said about not taking them lightly? Underestimating them has been the death of more than one before." He said sternly.

 

"Trust me, I'm well aware of what happeneds when your overconfident." Xero replied.

 

"Yes," said Kira as she stepped through Beucefilous's portal. "And yet you say that fighting Sora, Kairi and Riku at the same time will be an easy feat. Do not underestimate the heroes of Light. Light is very powerful, more powerful than we creatures of Darkness like to admit. The truth is, Light trumps Darkness every time, which is part of the reason I hate it so much. Only by making a person believe that Darkness is more powerful can it actually be so. We must make them believe that the Light is weak, we must decieve them into jumping whole-heartedly into the very trap that we stumbled into ourselves. Only then can we be victorious, by trickery and subtlety."

Kairi walked along the beach, breathing in the salty sea air and listening to the waves of the ocean roll gently along the shore. She reached her favorite spot and stood, gazing up at the stars. Only a few more hours, and it would be morning, and she would once again stand here every day, watching and waiting, for the return of her husband and life-long friend.

 

"What she says is the truth. Light doesn't wane easily. but when. and only when, it does, the darkness can consume it" R said before walking in the direction of the house.

Beucefilous ignored their conversation and went ahead. Along the beach he found a red haired girl who he assumed was his target. "Yo! You Kairi? He called to her.
