Technically it would be that Codebreaker is a fancy term for RAW. Codebreaker just uses RAW codes.

As Princess said, some codes may not work on the PS2, and why would it make a difference if someone else typing in that very long code just give it to you? That person may also do mistakes. But most important of all, he would waste alot of time for something that may not work.

What Mako said! ^^^ Technically Codebreaker just uses RAW codes... And Unencrypted... I don't follow with that one.
Dude. How easy do you think this stuff is? If there was a way to do it, I'm sure somebody would have by now. Trust me, it's always good to make suggestions for codes, but if somebody says it's not possible, then it probably isn't. ESPECIALLY if they said they already tried to hack it...

just so you know dude the play as riku code you are tryin to use is a asm hack, in order for someone to rehack it they would need to know Assembly language which is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to learn and figure out so take everybodys advise and just let it go, if they say it's not possible then it most likely is not possible.=/

It is so long because of how boss data and playable character data is handled. They are a bit different. In order for him to play properly, the data has to be corrected. For one, it's a lot of data to fix, and two, the data is in a dynamic portion of memory. Because of that, I had to write the code in ASM which made it even longer than it already is.

It works on the PS2. I have tested it myself, many times. Make sure you're using NTSC KH1. The version of the game I used to create the code was the original version, not greatest hits (although that may not matter. Some games it does, some it doesn't). The code will never be shorter unless you want him to play a lot worse. Double check that you typed the code in correctly and that you are using the proper master code for your cheat device.

    Hope this helped.

So, is this "play as Dark Riku" the Riku with the Keyblade of Hearts? Or is it with the Soul Eater? Either one is great, but the Keyblade of Hearts is my favourite key in the series, so it'd be awesome to be able to use that weapon. I saw on a previous page that there were difficulties replacing Sora's weapon with the K.o.H., so I guess this is the only way to use it.

A burn copy? Well that's your whole problem right there. You can't use a burn copy for a game and expect the codes to work on it.

Look on the side of the box of the game on the very bottom. It should say SLUS xxxxx (x's mean the version of the game). The version of the game I created it for is SLUS 20370. You can also check this by putting the game inside your computer. If it is not SLUS 20370 then their is a good chance you have a different version of KH1 than I used to create the code for. If it is different the code will have to be ported to your version of KH1. The code is very long and the slightest error in inputting the code will mess it all up. Give it a double check.

He has the Dark Keyblade. Their is a way to use any dummy weapons on Sora (such as Dark Keyblade or Soul Eater) but I do not have documentation of how I did that years ago on this PC.

Depends on the chip, some of them let you use gameshark and whatnot on it, others dont.
But by the sounds of it its not the problem for him. Don't think the game would boot at all if it was.

Yeah, I forgot that you could use the swap magic for bootleg copies.

I should also mention I have no clue how the old ARv2 cheat engine works (Swap Magic Coder uses it). It may not be able to handle a code that long. I use codebreaker, which can use 255 lines IIRC.

No, it doesn't. If you were to encrypt a code with Codebreakers encryption Swap Magic Coder wouldn't be able to use it. It uses the old Action Replay v2 cheat engine. You must be confused because the codes you have been using are unencrypted codes, which many cheat devices can use (Gameshark, Codebreaker, old Action Replays, Swap Magic Coder, etc.)

What I was saying is, I don't know in good detail how the Action Replay v2 cheat engine works. It may not be able to handle a code as long as the Dark Riku code, which is why it may not be working for you. Have you used any other codes on the front page? Have they worked for you?

How come there are hardly any Action Replay codes on the front page?

Because you can convert to AR codes from the code-format that's on the front page
