Qamar had brought out her food and shoved it into her hands expecting her to eat. Meanwhile Tinarah could tell she messed up with Aria again and felt horrible for it. She didn't want to upset anyone, she didn't mean for that to happen. She just wanted to point out what she already knew based on the experiences so far, things that Aria might not have known, but she probably made things worse. On top of that as Qamar started to speak with her, Tinarah could feel herself getting more and more annoyed. Tinarah didn't clump anyone with anyone else for reasons besides what she had seen. She didn't actually care about the darkness, but as Qamar tried to compare herself to the Evil Torrin, that was the point Tinarah snapped. Everything else after that was just a hollow echo through her ears.

When Qamar finally stepped back for a moment giving Tinarah space, Tinarah stood up, looking at the ground again. She was starting to feel better with talking to Aria and feeling accepted by her, but then Qamar came up and started caving things in on her. There was no emotion to her face as Tinarah pushed past Qamar and walked inside, not even saying goodbye to Aria, though part of her at least wanted to apologize for messing up their little moment again. Walking back into the house Tinarah entered the kitchen once more, looking almost more dead inside than she when she first entered that morning. Scraping her food into the garbage, Tinarah went back to the sink to finish cleaning the dishes. Tinarah at one point had considered eating but changed her mind rather quickly after Qamar had spoken up. She had done the exact thing Boreas did, and decided that she should just pass it off and act like it never happened, acted like she could be in control of her anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder. It wasn't that easy, she wished it was but she couldn't just stop. None of what was said made Tinarah feel any better, if anything she just felt numb, completely numb in mind and body. She couldn't focus, she didn't know what she was doing, it just became a mindless routine of cleaning dishes, whatever was in the sink, and whatever else of Take's that she could clean. While she did the work, it seemed nothing around her was registering any more, and to her, it was for the best.

Take took the stone back and didn't really have much of a reason to keep the conversation going. He finished up the pancakes and was ready to hand them out, giving Torrin his when they were done and passing them out to anyone who wanted one. He was gonna go clean up the pan but he saw Tinarah cleaning up and looking out of it. He reached over to try and grab her shoulder to get her attention but stopped mid-motion when a hiss was heard.

Takehiko looked down to see the little cat sitting around and hissing at him while he sighed and said,
"Alright fuzzball, don't need to hiss at me. I just wanted to make sure Tinarah was-"

As he reached his hand out again the cat growled and jumped up at him. He grabbed the cat just in time and held it away from his body and said,
"Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop it. Bad kitty." it hissed at him again as he clicked his tongue and asked, "Do you want food?"

The cat went silent and stared at him before letting out a small mew. He scritched behind it's ears a moment and grabbed a slice of bacon he cooked and gave it to the cat and placed it back on the floor. Then he reached out ans grabbed her shoulder and asked,
    "Are you alright-"
"REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAOW." The cat below him growled and tried to reach up and scratch and bite at his hand. He glared down at it and the cat glared up at him.

    He sighed and said,
"You've got a fierce protector there for you, trying to bite off my hand. I'll back off for now. I hope thing's are okay." and the boy walked away with his food.

As soon as Tinarah left, Aria sighed out heavily and placed her plate on the end table. "Don't... take it personality," Aria finally to Qamar, gesturing to where Tinarah disappeared to with her head. "I mean, I pretty much said the same things you said back at the castle... She's just processing heavy things. It'll take her a while to get on her feet again. I mean, when she was training with us back at Master Choma's castle, it was hard enough to talk to her then too..."

Aria laid her head back and closed her eyes, letting the swing rock her. She was kind of frustrated at how things went with talking to Tinarah. Not that she was mad at her in the slightest, and she was trying so hard to understand the girl's tough situation, but the ending result of the interaction left the princess of heart kind of drained. Over the last few days, Aria had seen how many times hands had went out to try to help Tinarah feel better and cheer up. Some attempts weren't so great, but others seemed genuine and as helpful as possible. But Tinarah was stuck on the mirror realm, or at least the pleasant parts. There was so much anyone could do to help. At this point, Tinarah would have to take the initiative herself to wanting to heal and move on. Everyone already did as much as they could.

Qamar stayed seated after Tinarah left. She huffed and sighed, not sure what to do. Aria talked about not taking it personally. Sure, Qamar wasn't going to, she had been there and done that before. Or at least been in a somewhat similar situation. She was only able to come to terms with things after she had finally faced on what she had done. Still to this day, she can't forgive herself for the things she'd done. Staring at the ground, Qamar closed her eyes a moment and then opened them again. "Aria, she's stuck. Stuck blaming herself for not being strong enough. Stuck thinking people are gonna be what they aren't and that everything in that mirror realm was totally gonna happen. She doesn't exactly say it, but you know? You can tell too, right?" Qamar started and looked towards the door. "I was there once, too. It sucked and the only way I got out of it was through help and helping myself. Maybe we've done enough...I hope she lets us in next time."

Qamar kept the chair rocking and then she took a deep breath. "But you know, let's talk about something else. There's no use dwelling on things we can't help with people. So my first suggestion is we talk about something I'm super curious about." she turned sideways in the seat. "Tell me you've got somebody you like. I know, I know, this isn't exactly the situation to talk about these things, but come on, I never got to experience this kinda girl talk. Indulge me this once, please!" she asked, clapping her hands together and bowing.

All the others were fine now, he was the last to be healed, not taking away limited healing power from the more important team members. Thallasa held out her hand and he was bathed in soft green light and felt a soothing warmth spread through his entire body. The skin in his face had repaired and all of the pain had faded away in a matter of moments. He felt significantly better now than he had while doing his morning routine. "Yes, thank you Master Thallasa, I feel ready for action once more." Boreas said, between the morning routine, the good night of sleep and now this healing he felt in top shape. Then however came a question he knew would come eventually, perhaps he hadn't entirely expected it to come from Master Thallasa but now it was here. "I admit that it wasn't my finest hour, Master Thallasa." Boreas said hanging his head in shame, but the tone in which she had asked the question wasn't chastising, yes she criticised him and told him that he was expected to keep his head cool, but her tone was more one of curiosity.

He looked back up at her. "
It was the result of several things compounding until I exploded..." Boreas started. "Among others I had stayed awake the previous night to keep watch, with those villains having the advantage I expected them to press it with a night time or early morning raid, with no watch organised I took it on myself to keep watch, something that turned out to not be necessary. When we regrouped after taking the machine out and everything going south with the Chasers showing up Torrin gave everyone a set of instructions, as a soldier I am used to everyone around me doing their assigned duty and I know this isn't the army but at such a critical time with Heartless threatening to destroy the world, everyone needed to do their duty, I reminded everyone of that but it didn't help much and lead to the death of Adalric." Sure it wasn't a guarantee that Adalric would have lived had Qamar not interfered, but because of the circumstances Adalric had to intervene to save Qamar. "There were also the Chasers whose timing was simply too convenient and having the audacity to claim they only wish to help, spouting their lies. Two years ago my Master taught me to utilize my rage as a weapon, a forceful sledgehammer with which to break the enemy's resistance, to focus it outward rather than keeping it inside. I needed to call on it to even out the odds against my opponent, but I lost control of it when they disappeared, I had the opportunity to make our enemy pay, the opportunity was whisked away at the last moment and with no enemy left to direct my rage at I snapped completely and vented my rage to get it out of my system." Boreas explained, he wasn't proud of it especially not the last part of it where he had snapped completely and was taking his rage out on the pavement.

    "
I will endeavour to remain calmer in the future as you said is expected of me." Boreas added but he knew he couldn't make any promises on the matter, he always lost himself to anger in one way or another when entering battle it was simply the way for him, although he did retain a lot more control when not actively focussing his rage outward and losing his sense of self-preservation in the process. He had answered her question in all honesty and perhaps his work to at the very least prove Torrin and himself weren't as bad as they were made out to be had paid off in the fact she hadn't outright judged him for his actions but asked more with curiosity.

Aria was taken aback by the sudden change in subject. Though she had to admit the other one was kind of gloomy. She thought the question over for a moment, and then shrugged her shoulders. “I like everyone,” she stated in a matter of fact tone. She didn’t understand the term “girl talk”, having not been raised around girls her age, nor what Qamar meant exactly by the statement.

Thallasa nodded in understanding. "I see. Well we've all been under considerable stress lately, especially after the events of last night. Perhaps with more time the others will learn better to fall in line. Some seem to be capable of doing so but there are more than a few...free spirits amongst us." She patted Boreas on the should and walked past him. "Keep an eye on the troublemakers. I sense you have a knack for that. And thank you for trusting me with this."

She walked into the living room. "Good morning everyone." Everyone was talking amongst themselves or eating. "The pancakes smell good." She headed over towards Tinarah who was cleaning the dishes while being watched over by a cat, walking by Takehiko who was carrying some delicious-looking pancakes. The cat hissed at Thallasa making her raise an eyebrow and tilt her head. "I've always been more of a dog person, to be honest. I used to own one. Perhaps she smells him on me." She spoke lightly towards Tinarah. Thallasa looked over at the others, noticing Torrin shift away uncomfortably from Tinarah and the cat while chowing down on the pancakes and refusing to take a seat while he ate. "Hm." She looked back over at Tinarah.

"Would you like a hand with that?"

"No, not like that, silly." Qamar chuckled. "I used to read about how girls would try and be friends by doing stuff like...talking about the people they loved and liked and hated. But I only read these from old magazines at the castle that were collected from everywhere..." Qamar looked into the house and saw Master Thallasa through the window. "I mean, who you love? Who gives you those feelings in your tummy when you talk to them? Who makes you happy on your gloomiest day? You don't have to answer straight, cuz that's the kinda thing you need to keep close to your heart." She placed a hand on her chest. "I can give you an idea what I mean?"

Qamar sat back and closed her eyes. "The person I like has been there for me for quite awhile. Always helping me out and liking me no matter my flaws. They know my past and know what's wrong with me, but they're still there for me. I like them for their flaws, too. Even if they seem unapproachable at times." she giggled at that part, scratching her head. "But they don't know how I feel for them and I'm scared they don't feel the same way about me. I miss them dearly and really wish I could just speak with them right now, but being near them for the past 5 or 6 years and finally going out on my own..." she sighed sadly. "It's for he best. I know I'll see them again, just gotta wait." She looked down at her hands, smiling.

"I'm sure you've got somebody like that in your life at least once, right?" she asked, looking at Aria. "I'm only really basing this whole girl talk thing over whatever I read so I may be wrong in a few things....."

Aria didn’t see why keeping the people you loved close to you had to be a secret. She couldn’t hold back her expressions for them, even if she tried. “Well, my Aunt Anja and my Uncle Lanar has been in my life for the past sixteen years, and they really helped my gloomy days become brighter. And they’re the ones that got me liking hot chocolate. They used to give it to me after I had a bad nightmare to try to help me feel better. I mean, I really love them a lot and and I know they love me. There’s also Grandpa Gero. He’s been in and out of my life up to when he disappeared when I was around ten, but before he always made sure to come on my birthdays and when we needed help...”

She then looked down at the ring on her finger, fiddling with it quietly. She was reminded of a conversation she hadn’t long ago about the people who cared about her...

    Age 7
Aria’s mind was quiet for once. No nightmares or bad dreams plagued her as she was under the spell. It was hours before she came to, her eyes fluttering open and then she sat up with a start. She was confused to see that she was in her own room, and changed from her wet clothes into a dry shirt and comfortable pants. There was also a brown cloak laid carefully over her legs, the rest of it frumpled in her lap. She remembered standing in the field, watching her uncle bleed out in front of her and being in shock at the sight of it. But then Grandpa Gero appeared, just after she asked for his help. Was that a dream?

Aria heard voices in the hallway and looked to her closed, bedroom door. She rubbed the back of her head, and then scooted off her bed. Barefeet hurried to the door, and she laid her hand on it a moment, trying to pick up any bits of conversation. When it sounded nothing but mumbles, the girl scrunched her eyebrows and then silently opened her door. The hallways were lit with candles, and her aunt’s and uncle’s bedroom door was slightly ajar. She heard the voices coming from downstairs and slipped out of her room, feeling inclined to go towards her guardian’s bedroom. If it was a dream, she wanted to make sure Uncle Lanar wasn’t hurt.

The seven year old seemed to hold her breath as she walked closer and closer to the door. She could hear her heart pounding in her ears, and feel the world become still for a moment. When she finally reached the end of the hallway, she pushed open the door more and peeked inside.

The room was dimly lit with a few candles, and the curtains were drawn shut. There were sounds of deep breathing, but it was shaky and almost raspy. Aria felt her heart sink as she pushed on in, hugging herself as she tiptoed across the room to the bed. There her uncle laid with no left arm, or right leg. What happened earlier wasn’t something in her mind after all; it actually happened.

Aria’s eyes stung as she looked at the guardian that was always so strong and brave to her, now weak and hurt. Her hands covered her mouth as she held back a sound of shock, not wanting to wake him up… He was breathing, which meant he hadn’t died. But him being in this state bothered her immensely.

A strong hand rested on Aria’s shoulder. “Calm yourself, child. He is okay. Lanar will regain his strength in time.” Gero’s warm voice came. He released her shoulder and returned his hand to his cane as he slowly walked over to the man’s side. “Hm...yes. This is definitely manageable. A student of mine can fix this.”

Aria was taken off guard by the voice and the hand on her shoulder. She looked up to see that Grandpa Gero was here after all, and then put two and two together. He was the one that came to save Uncle Lanar and somehow had put her to sleep. She wiped the tears from her eyes and inhaled deeply to do as she was told to do, and then realized what the elderly man said. “F-Fix it, Grandpa Gero…?” Young Aria asked in confusion. She looked back at the missing leg and arm, and then back to Grandpa Gero. As far as she knew, the limbs were lost.

“It won’t be quite the same as his old arm and leg but he’ll be able to walk again once it is done.” Gero explained. “My student is quite adept with machinery. Perhaps it his youth as I never much cared for it myself…” Gero looked back to Aria and stepped over towards the girl to pat her on the head, ruffling her purple hair in the process. “Let’s go outside, shall we? Allow your uncle to rest. The night air is crisp now that the rain is gone.”

Aria’s mind couldn’t wrap around what Grandpa Gero had in mind for her uncle, but she figured it would be fixed in time. She nodded her head and then walked to the edge of the bed for a moment. She carefully took her uncle’s hand in her own, kissing the top of it softly and then set it down to not disturb him any more. He needed his rest, just like Grandpa Gero said. She then turned to the elderly man and then remembered something. “Oh yeah, your cloak…” She hurried out of the bedroom and darted into hers, grabbing the brown cloak that served as her blanket as she was forced to nap. She then made her way back to the elderly man and held it up to him with a tiny smile. “Here you go.”

Gero took the cloak and smiled back at her. “Thank you, little one.” He slowly put the cloak on over his clothes. He lead Aria outside and onto the dirt path not far from her home.

Aria had her own cloak on, with patches of different colored fabrics and designs. It was something she made with her aunt, her aunt allowing her to make it after several basic lessons. It was a strange creation, but it did its job and kept her warm on crisp, cool nights like this. She walked along her “grandfather’s” side in silence for several minutes before taking his hand and holding it, just like old times when he would visit. “Grandpa Gero?” She finally spoke up. “How did you hear me when I asked for help…? Aunt Anja and Uncle Lanar said you lived very far away.”

The elder man squeezed the child’s hand as he looked down at her, his other hand on his cane. “Why I was walking to your house to give you a visit, Aria. When the flares went up my heart nearly stopped. I went over to make sure everything was alright and that’s when I found you.”

Aria wrinkled her eyebrows and met Grandpa Gero’s twinkling eyes. Even to a seven year old, she knew it was good timing for him to appear. “It’s not my birthday yet though,” she replied softly after a moment. “You only come around my birthdays, right?” She fell silent as she thought back to the events earlier that day. “There were so many wrenfel… but they all disappeared after I yelled at them to leave Uncle Lanar alone… I don’t know what happened exactly…”

“There was a gift I wished to give you.” From somewhere within his cloak Gero pulled out a small black box. “Inside here is a family heirloom. From your own family, actually. It took a great deal of effort from a number of people recovering this item.” He knelt down and held the box out to the girl. “Your parents wished for you to have this, Aria.”

Aria was surprised to have a gift given to her on no special occasion at all. She peered at the box with interest, and then saw the piece of jewelry inside. Staring back at her was a silver ring, the silver being wrapped around a pink sapphire with what it looked like to be two panels of purple opal on the sides. It reminded Aria of stained glass windows in a church she saw in one of Aunt Anja’s books. There were small little diamonds on the right hand side, just under the second panel of opal. “For me?” She asked in a whisper. She reverently as possible took the black box in her hand and admired it closely. “Do my parents love me?” Aria asked Gero. She had never seen a photograph of them, or heard them mentioned often. For the longest time she assumed it was just her and her aunt and uncle, and no one else in the world. She was told she was loved, but she was finding it hard to understand since she never met them or seen them before.

Gero took a chain from his pocket and took the ring from Aria to loop the chain through it, knowing it was too large for Aria to wear at that point in time. “When you are older, you will grow into it.” The old man assured her as he put the chain around her neck. He frowned slightly when she questioned if her parents loved her. “You think that because you have never seen them, they do not love you?” He chuckled. “Dear child, that is not how love works. Of course they love you. They loved you so much so that it broke their hearts to be separated from you and the only reason they ever allowed it was to keep you safe. Even now, they watch you from the stars.” As he spoke, he pointed to the night sky and directed Aria’s gaze towards a particularly bright star that shone brighter than those clustered around it. “When you look up into the sky, just remember that somewhere up there your parents are watching you. Know that they love you.”

As Gero spoke to her, Aria held the ring in her hand. She looked to the star that Gero had pointed out to her, and gently pressed the ring to her chest. Maybe she was imagining it, but she felt a warm feeling as if she was being hugged. She smiled to herself and looked up at the man she called her grandfather. “I want to see them with you someday… and with Uncle Lanar and Aunt Anja too. It’ll be like a family reunion, or maybe a party… not a big loud party, just a nice quiet one.” She sighed out, letting go of the ring to let it hang around her neck. “I’m going to do my best to take care of Uncle Lanar… and Aunt Anja. I want to be strong enough to see my parents someday…”

He smiled in return and ruffled the girl’s purple hair. “That would be lovely. Someday, Aria. Someday. I promise that you will get your chance to see them again.” The elder man took Aria’s hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. “It is late. You should sleep now, Aria.” He tugged on her hand to lead the child back to her home.

Aria yawned at the mention of sleep and walked along side of Gero. “I’m not sleepy though,” she tried to protest. “I stay up late all the time…” And then she yawned again, leaning against the elderly man as they walked back to the house.

“Of course you do.” Gero spoke without a hint of sarcasm in his tone, humoring the girl. “You just need a little nap. That’s all.” Before they knew it, they were at the door of her home. “Be good, Aria. And have a good night’s rest. I will see you again soon.” He spoke softly as he crouched down to hug Aria.

Aria smiled sleepily and then wrapped her little arms around his neck to hug him warmly. “Thank you for everything, Grandpa Gero. Be safe going home…” She then kissed him on the cheek and let go. “I love you.” Which was said from the innocence of a child. Every time Grandpa Gero came around, he seemed to make everything brighter and right again. He was the mentor Aria needed in her tender childhood years.

Aria hummed out and smiled a bit at the memory. “So yeah, I guess there’s a few people I love.”

Tinarah was in own silent space, oblivious to what was around her until she heard hissing. Turning back she noticed Nini and Take, Nini seeming to have put herself between them. She could see the concern on Take's face as he asked if she was alright, but before she could really answer, Nini had chased him away. Tinarah didn't know if she should be thankful to the cat or not, for she didn't want to talk in fear of messing things up again, but at the same time part of her was screaming out at him to not leave, she didn't want to be alone, still all she could do was watch him go.

Turning back to the dishes, Tinarah barely got started again before Nini was hissing and Tinarah paused to look at Master Thallasa.
"Nini is just being protective, it is nothing against you." Tinarah tried to assure the Keyblade master as she looked down at the cat. "I am almost done the dishes, I am fine, it is a good distraction." It was a lie though, she wasn't fine, nothing was fine about this. What happened to the girl who looked Torrin in the eye and told him she would rather die then let him do anything to her. What happened to the girl who would meditate in silence and skip meals just to fight back enough to regain her keyblade or die trying. Why was it, when she got it back, she couldn't look anyone in the eye? She was letting him win by being like this. She was letting the Torrin of the other realm still dictate her life, even though she had gotten out. She escaped his physical cages, but not the mental ones.

"Master Thallasa... How am I... How do I talk to everyone without making them feel the need to help shoulder my problem. How do I face them? Every time I try it ends up being about how I am handling things and then it goes badly for either me or them. How do I get by? How do I not let him win? Even though I escaped I feel like he is still winning." Tinarah finally asked. She hadn't really the time to talk with Stamatis or Choma or Fost about any of this and while Thallasa wasn't her first choice at this point she was desperate. She felt like she was bringing Aria down when she spoke with her, and she had yet to have a conversation with Qamar that didn't end with her hurting.

Thallasa watched Tinarah with a hint of confusion as to whom she spoke of. "Let him win?" She thought about this for a moment and then realized based on the clues Tinarah was giving that she had referred to her experiences in the other realm. "You mean Torrin? It does not look like he is currently plotting anyone's demise at the moment. We're all on the same side from what I can tell."

"Not him." Tinarah's eyes flicked to the Torrin who was standing in the distance. "But the other him. He wanted to get to me. He was fine breaking me and I got out but still, even away I still sense that he would take great pleasure in watching me struggle right now, and I hate that. I thought I escaped but I don't think I did and I don't know what to do now." Tinarah told her. She was trying to to say too much, trying not to bring the Master down like she had done to Aria. She just wanted her mind sorted before they were forced to move out, and as it seemed, hiding and doing dishes was not going to help.

"The only thing you can do is focus on the here and now." Thallasa said as she eyed the cat protecting Tinarah closely. "From what I've been told, there doesn't seem to be any way to get back to that realm without a great deal of preparation, knowledge, and power. No doubt someone who could best Master Gero in combat has the power to do so...but the other two? It appears that only the Light Chaser and Gero even know how to create a doorway to another realm. If that Torrin knew how, it's unlikely you would have been out of his grasp for so long without him having already tracked you down. So take comfort in the knowledge that you are safe, Tinarah."

This.. This was getting nowhere, Thallasa clearly wasn't understanding what Tinarah was trying to tell her and wasn't really helping all that much. She knew that she was safe from Torrin physically getting there to harm her, that wasn't the problem at the moment. It was the fact that even from a disance he was winning the mental battle, the control of her mind. Tinarah tried to think back to what she did before in order to face him. What had changed how she had the strength. There was no real answer for what she did, but she did know that she forced herself to face him, something that she was refusing now. If she could stand up and face the man who was able to kill her in a heartbeat, why could she not face the person who was just a shell of that power? Whether he was around or not the memories were still there, so at least she could make herself stronger. Tinarah was not convinced that the Torrin of the other realm wasn't going to find a way into her life again somehow, but it was better to be prepared to face him by facing the one that she might be able to handle, than avoiding it and jumping straight to the one that she wouldn't be able to handle.

Having finished off the rest of the dishes, Tinarah grabbed a towel and dried her hands before scooping Nini up in her arms to prevent the cat from trying to attack anyone else.
"Thanks for trying Master Thallasa." Tinarah walked passed her and set her eyes on Torrin. It was a tremendous effort of will not to look away or cower as she approached him. "I am staying here to help fix this world." She informed him, still seeming uncomfortable, but at least she attempted to talk to him, that was a step in the right direction at least.

Qamar listened and smile at Aria's innocent answer. "See, that's what I meant. Exactly that!" Qamar looked out towards the city. "I don't remeber much from my childhood...but I remember only having my mother for most of it. I loved her very much. That's kinda the feeling I get when I think about that person. Maybe I'm confusing my loves here, but I know I love them. They are just as important to me as my mother was. I lost her when I was...9? 5? I don't remember, but I'm thinking closer to 9...ugh..." she grabbed at her head, confused. She shook her head and continued her story. "She was sick for a long time...father said she'd be fine. But I can't quite help this feeling...that maybe he was lying and she was never going to get better." She shrugged and leaned back. "Other than my mother, I was confined to my home. Never allowed to leave. All I could do was play with the few toys I was given until father had me do his...bidding." She said this, glancing at Aria. "I would always come home worse for wear and he'd patch me up before he went to his room to check on whatever I brought back."

She stretched and stood up, causing the swing to move a little violently. "I know what I did during those times, but thankfully it all ended when I left him with a dying world." she smile sadly. "He was a bad father, but he was the only one I ever knew. I loved him for taking care of me, but that's it. So Aria, I envy you. You had the childhood I never got." Qamar turned to Aria, tears staining her cheeks. She reached up and touched her cheeks, a look of wonder creeping across her face. "Why am I crying? I...I'm sorry, I didn't think I could cry any more." She rubbed her eyes and took a deep breath. She was envious of Aria and she knew it wasn't right to blame her. Qamar was not blaming her for her own ruined childhood. Although, she also knew that as nice as the things seemed, there would always be a dark side to things. Same as how as dark things are, there is always a light.

At the ripe age of 10, Qamar was tasked with retrieving something from one of the army's outposts. She was told to sneak in and take it from the Commanding Officer's room without being seen. She was good at hiding and using dark corners and objects to keep them from detecting her. She had to learn these things when she grew up, for her father deemed it so. She never questioned him out of fear of reprimand. That was the one thing she could never, ever bring herself to do. Qamar feared she'd lose more than her mother if she ever questioned his teachings. So that was why she was always doing what she was told.

Today she feared more than her father, however. Being caught stealing and within this outpost would most certainly cost her her life. Luckily for her, she was sent on a day where there was little to no defense. So within minutes, she was inside the officer's room and she was looking for the object she had been told to retrieve. It was a dagger that was very ornate that, supposedly, had a power to it that nobody could ever understand. Whether this was true or not was up to the believer. All Qamar cared was that it was pretty and she really just wanted to have it for herself when she got the chance.

The door began to unlock as she closed the case for the dagger. She had replaced it with one that was similar but obviously was not the same dagger. In hopes of getting away unknown, she hid inside a closet, leaving the door just barely cracked so that she may seize her opportunity for escape. "Somna, please, you've been searching for over 10 years. Why can you not give up the search?" a man asked, placing a stack of papers down.

Somna sat in his officer's chair and glanced over the papers, his eyes gleaming gold as they scanned the papers. He placed his chin in his hand as he leaned on the arm of the chair. "Because I will never give up until I find her. My wife is still out there and I plan on revenge to the man who stole her. I will not rest until he is found and punished for his crimes." Somna shoved the papers towards the other man as he flustered to grab them all as they fell.

"Sir, your wife was with child at the time, if she were even able to birth that child in desirable conditions, you should have been able to at least feel your wife's presence at that time." the man stood up, papers haphazardly in his hands. Somna tapped his fingers on the desk. "Well, I did feel an inkling, but it was as if it were blocked by something sinister. I could not put my finger on it, but I could tell she was in distress. As if she were calling for me." he sighed.

"Somna, that's impossible. Only the royal family can so easily tell the feelings of those of darkness. We can merely feel they are alive. And that is only if we have known them for quite some time." the man said. "I KNOW THIS." Somna slammed his hand on the desk. "But I tell you, I know she lived until nary a month ago. Now all I feel is guilt and sadness. I pray she's alive, but as it is, you're wasting my time. Leave." he said, turning to look out the window. The man left the room, looking angry.

Qamar took this as a chance to attempt to leave. As she stepped out of the closet, she tripped on her own feet and fell. She suddenly felt pain in her leg as she sat up. She accidentally stabbed her thigh with the dagger and was now bleeding. Tears came to her eyes as she sat there, trying not to freak out too badly. She was unsure of what to do. Footsteps approached her and Qamar closed her eyes, knowing she was caught.

"Child, what are you doing here? What is your name?" Somna asked, kneeling down. Qamar sniffled and spouted, "Q...Qamar..." she said. She was unable to cry in times like these due to her father's words. He always commanded her to never cry, even if it meant she'd die. Somna reached down pulled the dagger out. Qamar cried out in pain, gripping at her leg. Soon, a wave of curative magic came over her as Somna started to bandage her. "Qamar...that name has a meaning to it, you know. It means moon. Funny, as my name also means moon." he chuckled, turning to Qamar.

She tried to back away but he put a hand on her shoulder as he dried the tears from her eyes. "Moon, please do not cry. You have a mother to go back to, do you not? I can forgive you for now, but I cannot always do so. Please, I will escort you." he said, standing up and ruffling his messy black hair. Qamar stood and looked at the dagger on the floor. She turned to Somna and took his hand, holding it as they walked out.

"I'm sorry Aria. I can't blame you for my childhood...I just can't..." she looked at her. Qamar sat back down and pulled out the same familiar picture. She held it gingerly and smiled. The resemblance between her and the people in the picture was very prominent now. "This is the only thing I've got left of my mother. She's in my heart, but this is all I have physically left. Do you have anything like that?" Qamar asked, looking at Aria.

The girl almost fell out of the swing when Qamar suddenly stood up, but braced her foot on the ground and steadied herself so she remained seated. It seemed like everyone had some kind of crisis to process today...

Only Aria could grasp a bit what Qamar meant by doing her father’s biddings... it didn’t sound like a healthy or safe situation, and made her life on the farm much more peaceful sounding. She listened, and watched, not wanting to interrupt Qamar or shut her down like it seemed like she did with Tinarah. When she sat back on the swing and showed her a picture, it gave Aria a que to join in. “I’ve got this ring,” she said as she lifted the index finger it rested on for Qamar to see. “Grandpa Gero gave it to me when I was seven; said it was from my parents... I never met my parents. It was just me and my aunt and uncle. He told me they wanted me to have it and they loved me...”

Aria then pulled up her knees to her chest and rested her chin on her knees. “It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows,” Aria spoke softly. “I’d never had to go through what you’ve endured, but it still wasn’t great... but I don’t try to let it get me down so much. I had people who loved me, and did their best to keep me safe and happy.” She has opened up to Torrin the other night about one of her memories, and she was already feeling emotionally exhausted as it was. It was just the start of the day however. She didn’t feel like spilling her life story out so much right now.

Torrin took a step away from Tinarah and Nini when the girl came closer seeing as how the cat now had its eyes fixed on him and looked about ready to leap away from Tinarah. All the cat did was remind him of Mika. Having to put down her Nobody and pretend to be okay with her cat just felt wrong to him. "Staying here?" Torrin repeated. It was definitely going to be awkward if that was the case.

"Alright. As long as your rested and ready for another long day." Torrin scratched the back of his head and tried to keep himself from looking like he was ready to run out of the interaction. Nothing awkward about it. Just two big reminders of the pain he and his doppelganger had caused. Nothing abnormal about it.

Thallasa regretted that her advice had not been better but she did not take it personally. Tinarah seemed to be in a fragile state after her experience and she felt it best not to press the subject more "When everyone's ready to get on to business, meet me in the front." The master called out to everyone as she walked out the front door.

Qamar tucked the picture away and looked at the ring, seeing how pretty it was. "Your parents had to have loved you and knew you were special. So they left the ring for you." she smiled. Aria pulled her knees close and spoke about not letting things get her down. "I guess we're kind of the same like that...I try not to let things get to me, but I'm not as good at it as you. Oh and the fact we had a "Grandpa" and "Grandma" to take care of us." she joked, scratching her head. She scooted over to Aria and leaned on her. "But that's okay, we all deal wit things differently and I just like talking about my problems. It helps me, even if it doesn't always work." she said this and stared at the ceiling. "So what are you gonna do now that this world has been saved?" Qamar asked, backing off of Aria and leaning back in the swing, her arms resting on the back of it. "I don't really want to stick around here any more...so I'm leaving myself. You gonna leave, too? I wanna see how tough you are. But uh, I think you're pretty tough after the day you had yesterday." she laughed.

Master Thallasa came out the door and Qamar immediately jumped up, jerking the swing once more. She bowed to Master Thallasa and looke at Aria. "Ah, sorry!" she said, concerned.

“AH!!” Aria’s arms flailed out on either side of her, catching herself before she fell out once again. “I’m okay!” She called as she shakily stood up. She then picked up her bag, which we will conviently already have outside with her belongings cause why not, and slung it over her shoulder. “We’re ready to go?” Aria asked Master Thallasa. She was more than ready to get out of this world and continue the mission to find the princesses of heart. Her hair was ready, she was dressed, and she was ready to get her mind off of things now.

It was almost surprising that Torrin was the one stepping away from her. Sure she wasn't too fond of him, but it wasn't like she was threatening... at all. Really she was just kind of a pathetic mess at the moment, so to have someone backing away, it was a bit off. Either way she tried not to think too much about it as Torrin looked her over seeming a little taken aback by the situation. He didn't seem to convinced about what she asked of him but she held her ground still. She wanted to back down, but she had done it once when things were much worse, she could do it again. "I will be fine. I can handle it. If I couldn't there is no reason I should be allowed out here." If she couldn't help here, she couldn't help in the next place either, she would have to force herself to be alright, despite the mornings events and the lack of food as well.

As she spoke Thallasa called them to all meet at the front, and it was a convenient excuse to get away from Torrin now. She wanted to try and face him, but now that things were sufficiently awkward, she was happy to move along for a bit at least and focus on whatever else was happening. Going outside to meet them, she saw Aria and Qamar. One she felt bad for walking away on, the other not so much. She didn't really know what to say to either of them, so she just kind of held on to Nini and hoped the cat wouldn't attack anyone else for getting to close to her.
