With the battle done and the generator taken out their part here was done. Mr Incredible was back to normal and Mezmerella was taken out. Frozone seemed more concerned about the team names, what was it with people being concerned with naming of teams. Tinarah filled Mr Incredible in and there was a bit of a crowding around take to make sure he was alright. Boreas looked at the boy and gave him a thumbs-up. He did a good job protecting them and helping out. Chrono called for them to go to the surface and Boreas shared the sentiment they might need some help up there even after Thallasa's assurances that they were simply mopping up now. Tinarah left take to join the heroes and she didn't exactly look very happy. "Good job there bringing Take back on his feet, you did well." Boreas said with a weak smile.

Boreas then followed Mr Incredible and Frozone up the ladder out of there, he breathed in the fresh air on the surface he was glad to be out of the tunnels they only brought back memories of the tunnels back home and all the associations with those tunnels. They were soon swarmed by people and many questions were asked. As their superhero names were asked Boreas thought for a moment with Torrin's words to play along still in the back of his mind. "
I am the Emerald Herald." Boreas said "But you'll have to excuse us as we aren't done yet and still have rather pressing matters to attend to." With those words Boreas started to remove himself from the group of people as Qamar came to him suggesting to use the gliders. "Sounds good." Boreas said, he didn't exactly like the remark regarding the others being too fresh to do the glider themselves, sure it was true but it didn't need to be said. He tossed up his keyblade to make the glider, it looked like a jetbike with the wing pattern from his blade repeated along it's sides. Boreas mounted up there were two seats on the sides, one on each side, it took him a bit extra focus as he wouldn't usually need it. "Alright everyone mount up, two with me, two with Qamar. I don't care who goes where." Boreas adressed his team mates.

Following behind Frozone, Chrono ascended up the ladder up the ladder and was happy to be back on the surface. The following crowd that just happened to there waiting for him made him not so happy. Being bombarded by questions, Chrono basically just stood there unsure of what to say any of them or how many were actually aimed at him. Not that he knew what his superhero name was or wanted to think of one right now. He groaned at the one statement that he gathered was made towards Tinarah. He had to remind himself that hopefully they would be out of these costumes soon. Its only temporary.

Any other questions that were thrown their way were eventually tuned out due to the sheer number of them making it a real mess to figure out who was being asked what. Out of the two rides before them, he didn't have any preferences as to who he rode along with. The same, however, couldn't be said about everyone else. Namely his sister. Recalling what had happened before they'd left for this world between her and Qamar, he thought it be best to not have them ride together. Gently he placed his hand on Tinarah's shoulder. "Why don't you ride with Boreas and I'll go with Qamar."

After her conversation with Torrin she had left the gates of the mansion grounds to take a breath of fresh air. Communications were hampered under the effects of the Magitek device and she knew by now the Master was expecting to hear from her. Seeing as how she had nothing but time she took her keyblade glider and flew into the sky, heading outside the city limits and out of the range of the field inhibiting her magic and blocking communications.

"Thallasa coming in. Can you hear me?" She waited for a response and when one finally came she spoke again. "You told me of the possibility that one of our own could die. I do not believe the risk is necessary. I have just learned of the existence of a second of the Seven within my party. Were you aware of this as well?" The response came. "It's too dangerous. Why risk this course of action when so many lives have already been lost?" Another response came. Thallasa gritted her teeth and pressed on. "Yes. Of course I am aware of the threat the darkness poses. My students were taken from me and before that my own family. You know this." She sighed and lowered her head. "These kinds of calculated risks just aren't--" She was interrupted. "What!? You can't possibly be serious. We could risk two of the Seven by staying on course. Not to mention the inhabitants of this world."

"...Yes. Of course...I-I understand...You're right. For the greater good." Thallasa clenched her fist and looked down, slowly taking in a deep breath and exhaling. "The identity of the other? No. I...I don't know who it is. I suspect it is one of Choma or Atmos's students so I will keep a closer eye on them." She spoke lowly, her eyes still focused on the ground. "Uh...yes. Miss Dorin? Ah yes. She seems to be doing well. Is that all?"

"Of course. Yes. I should be heading back now. I'll report in again when I next have the chance, Master."

With a little more dashing and smashing, three more Neoshadows quickly bit the dust. Common as it was for Chrys to think to much, she found her thoughts wandering as she went about crushing her enemies. Not that she let them wander too far of course: that would be extremely hazardous to her health. She did find herself briefly thinking about Aria and Torrin though, and wondering just what they had been doing since last she met them.

Take was thrown off by the bombardment of questions as they got out, specifically noticing the one who asked if he was a little young to be adventuring and he just glared at them. I mean come on, was it a height thing? There was at least one more person shorter than him there. And one person younger. He crossed his arms and didn't respond more until Boreas mentioned an out. He didn't exactly hear anything going on after that, he just kind of walked towards whoever had a glider, and heard something about Tinarah going with Boreas? He didn't know, so he evened it up by going towards Qamar and said, "Let's just all get out of here."

As Qamar placed a hand on her shoulder, Tinarah shied away slightly before the girl walked off without much of a word to her. It left things still awkward, given she wasn't necessarily on the best terms with Qamar and Tinarah could never quite figure out how to handle the girl. Every time Tinarah seemed to try and do something, Qamar suddenly came up and took whatever she was doing away, treating her like she was not even there, only to later come around and seem to not understand why that was upsetting. It was getting on Tinarah's nerves, given all that Tinarah was trying to do and the steps back she got pushed every time she tried to take a step forward and Qamar showed up. Perhaps the girl didn't actually mean to do it, but none the less she still always ended up coming in and messing something up on Tinarah.

Thankfully it was time to go however soon after. No so thankfully as they exited the underground there was a group of people starting to surround them and question them. She caught the sound of someone saying Black and White Beauty and Tinarah wondered if they were talking to her. It was all so overwhelming she took a step back, trying to retreat, though they were given no room to do such thing. She once tries to open her mouth to try and ask if they would go away, but nothng came from her lips as people pushed in closer. Soon though she felt a hand on her shoulder, this one a little bigger and stronger than Qamar's. Peaking back over her shoulder her brother stood there, telling her to ride with Boreas out of there. Glancing over at the man who seemed to actually be engaging in conversation with the reporters, Tinarah didn't know how she felt about going with him. However looking at her other option, she decided she could deal with this one for now.

Approaching Boreas she stood awkwardly beside him until he affirmed that she could mount. She glanced at the crowd then to the person she was riding with, then to her brother. Nothing about this say all that well with her, but she was at least glad to be getting out of there. It was far too many people to deal with at this moment, plus they needed to figure out if their friends were okay. She only hoped that they managed to destroy the Magiteck device in time to give them the upper hand in the fight.

Frozone and Mr. Incredible made their way past the crowd and began to head in the direction of the tower where Kefka had issued his challenge. A pair of skis popped out from Frozone's boots right as he began creating an ice slide to speed ahead. This time around, Mr. Incredible didn't join him. "You kids have your own transportation right? Sorry but the Incredibile only sits one." Mr. Incredible walked into the street. The sound of a roaring engine of a car came and skidded to a stop right by Mr. Incredible. The wheels spun and screeched against the pavement before the car rocketed off after Frozone.

"Thanks." He responded towards Aria, still feeling a little self-conscious about his costume. "You know, my old keyblade armor had a cape. It was a little like this." He sighed. "A shame it got destroyed though. I was...er...probably still am, a bit--a lot--reckless. I guess the real victim though was blacksmith Watts. Poor guy worked so hard on it." He frowned and sat by Aria, facing the opposite way with his back towards her.

"So...about last ni-" The ground shook violently shook throughout the world. If Torrin hadn't been sitting he might have stumbled. "Uh what?" The clouds overhead started to blot out the sun, darkening the skies and sending the city into an overcast. "No." Kefka began to laugh maniacally, kicking up his tied legs into the air.

"Oh boy! You kids are in for it now! You can't stop the destruction! EVERYTHING WILL BURN TO THE GROUND. I'LL MAKE SURE OF THAT." Streams of darkness began to pour from Kefka's body. The clown broke the cables holding him and stood back up only to hunch over and continue laughing all the while the dark aura around the clown began to thicken. Once more the earth shook. Torrin watched as several civilians fell over. "You brats will DIE for making me bleed by own blood. Hah...HAHAHA!!!" Kefka threw his head back and screeched in wretched jubilation. Darkness pooled at his feet. "Destroy destroy destroy DESTROY!" By now his ankles were submerged in darkness and he was sinking into it.

The clown froze, his face in complete shock. "W-what? Huh? Why am I not moving...? No! Wait! I'm in control! ME! NOOOO!" Faster and faster he sunk until the clown was swallowed up whole by the black pool with a sickening sluuuurp.

Torrin rose to his feet and felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. "No not again. Not here too! This world is going to fall!" Dark pools began to appear throughout the city. The clouds above began to blacken. The world shook once more.

Chrysanthemum, Koa, and Dentro gained 4 Levels! Post in the OOC Thread to claim your rewards!

Dentro and Koa jumped in and finished the last of the Neoshadows. "I feel better now. I think that Magitek thing stopped working."

Dentro cracked his neck and nodded, rolling back his shoulders. "Yeah. Glad that didn't last long. Let's get moving then! I think we'll be able to get a good view from above. Keyblade Glider away!" Without waiting for any agreement from Chrys he jumped onto his glider and sped off into the skies.

"I don't understand Dentro. I really don't." Koa shook his head and called for his glider, hopping on and chasing after him. Once the trio were in the air Koa noticed that the clouds had suddenly thickened and moved to block out the light. Up in the sky the wind began to kick up and nearly knocked Koa off his glider. "What the-!? How did this happen so suddenly? The skies were clear a second ago weren't they? Are instant storms a thing on this world or what?" He looked down and raise an eyebrow. Though the light was fading fast he and they were up high, he could still see something disturbed him, reminding him of when his own home nearly broke apart when the darkness almost took hold of it. "Uh Chrys? We're going to have to move faster! I don't think this world is going to be sticking around much longer."

"No you don't say! We just got here too! Seriously! Ugh!" Dentro growled. "Sucks for this world. Wish we could do something to save it."

"...Is that a heart I sense from you, Dentro?"

    "Don't get used to it!"

Qamar sat upon her motorcycle keyglider with two little side cars, watching Take get in. She waited for Chrono, but she was interrupted by the ground shaking and the sky darkening. Clouds were forming fast and they were chock full of darkness, to boot. Qamar froze in place and held onto her motorcycle handles, her knuckles going white. Her entire body began to shake and shudder. She soon lifted her hand and watched it shake. "N...No...n...not again...I...no..." she muttered, trying to hold herself. "I don't I don't no, please no...I don't want to do it."

Qamar hunched over her motorcycle, nearly falling off. Her entire body was shaking and she only stared distantly as she tried to rock herself back and forth. She muttered words, speaking only a little louder now and then. It was as if she was in an internal struggle. "Dad....please...I don't want to.......I don't wanna do it, dad...please....no..." she begged, finally. "Help...." she cried a little louder, hoping somebody would snap her out of it deep down.

Takehiko was more than a bit disturbed when the darkness began to happen, there was a sinking feeling in his soul that made it so he knew exactly how this was going to play out if they didn't hurry up. But suddenly and without real warning, Qamar began freaking out. He couldn't tell if it was nerves from a first time in this kind of front at first, but then he heard her mumblings and realized this was going to be a bit of a problem. Take quickly walked over to her and said, "Qamar? Qamar. Focus in." he waited for a minute before saying, "Come on Qamar, stay with me. We're gonna make it through this, alright? We will. But you gotta stay with us, okay? Breathe for me." he looked over at others to see if they were cuing into what was going on with Qamar. They couldn't exactly get back to the others if this was happening, and he didn't know if he was handling this right.

Aria glanced over her shoulder to Torrin, but she didn’t get to speak to him. Soon things took a turn for the worst and Aria straightened to attention. She watched in horror as Kefka broke out of his bounds, but she was more horrified with the darkness that was starting to pour all around him. She saw flashes of the demonic creature in her nightmares, and heard its evil laugh in place of Kefka’s. She felt her mouth go dry as unpleasant memories suddenly flooded her mind. Maybe it was because she opened up about it a bit to Take a few days ago, and some more to Torrin just last night. Or maybe the nightmares were messing with her head...

    10 Years Old

She had done it. She snuck away.

Aria was sitting on a hill by her chocobo tied to a tree, which was now growing in his nice fluffy yellow feathers. There were still brown patches sticking up here and there, but that’s what made Dubble so special to her. While her aunt was busy with a guest at the door, Aria snuck out the back and grabbed her equipment before riding off. Today she was going to make herself useful and prove to everyone she could handle tough jobs just fine.

She was dressed in a green army jacket with a scarf around her neck, her quiver of arrows attached to her back with her spear resting in its hold and her bow around one arm. The months were a little colder now, but there was still work to be done on the farm. Crops were being harvested and brought in to be distributed among the farmers that lost theirs to the wrenfel as well as to the village. No matter how many times the farmers went back to their farms to try to rebuild them, they would become overrun by the monsters again. They didn’t have time to fight the beasts though, they had mouths to feed. So the children of the farmers, ages ten and up, were supposed to be on guard duty and do their best to pick off the wrenfel that came too close to the Dorin’s farm property and check on the other two farms still standing.

It was a quiet day today, but Aria felt like she could get caught any moment and was rather tense. She was doing something she was told not to do, and rarely did she disobey.

She sighed out through her nose, and then perked up when she heard the sound of laughter and chocobo feet approaching. She ducked down behind the shrub and made Dubble sit down and hide behind the large tree to stay out of sight, just in case it was a couple of workers heading her way. But instead, it was a group of boys. There were six of them, sharing three chocobos to ride. The oldest looked to be about 13 or even 14 while the youngest one looked to be around Aria’s age. They stopped by the pond that was below, tying up their chocobos to posts and sitting on crates while pulling out their lunches for the day.

Aria was relieved it was kids her age. Maybe she could join them in finding wrenfel? She stood up and approached the group with a wave of her hand and a nervous smile. “Hey guys!”

The group of boys looked up, surprised to be approached by someone else. When they realized who it was, the oldest ones groaned while the younger ones looked away or looked to the ground. One of the older ones nudged his friend and whispered in their ear, which in turn the friend smirked and set their lunch down.

All the reactions she received at once confused Aria. She knew about the talk that this whole thing with the wrenfel was her fault, but she didn’t think others really believed it. The two boys that were talking to each other stood up and approached Aria, folding their arms. One had brown, shaggy hair and green eyes while the other had blond hair shaved on the sides save for the top and blue eyes.

“And what are you doing out here? Are you trying to get us killed?” The one with brown hair spoke.

Aria was stunned. “N-no, I came out here to help.”

The brown haired boy scoffed. “To help? Pft, did you hear that, boys? The cursed girl wants to help us out.”

Aria felt guilt punch her in the gut. So the rumors were true; everyone believed Aria was causing all of these problems for everyone lately. The destruction of the farms, the shortage of food because of that, the unhappiness and fear that came from this was all because of her. She remembered the talk she had with her uncle this morning and clenched her fists tightly. “I am not cursed! And this isn’t my fault!” She yelled at them.

The group fell silent for a moment. They weren’t expecting Aria to try to stand up for herself.

The two boys that were standing in front of Aria exchanged looks with one another. Then looked at her. “Do you want to put that to the test…?” The blond one asked in a dark, menacing voice.

Aria opened her mouth to speak, but then was suddenly shoved to the ground. She looked up as the boys began laughing at her, the others cheering the two eldest ones on. She realized her bow was ripped away from her when she was pushed to the ground and went to stand up, only to be shoved down again, hard.

“You want to help?” The brunette spat at Aria as he stood over her and mocked her.

She was then grabbed and hoisted up, her quiver of arrows being stripped away next, and then her spear. She was held roughly by her arm and she went to hit them off of her, only to be shoved and then grabbed from behind so her arms were pinned. Aria panicked and tried to move away, but whoever had her held on tighter. “Let go of me!” She yell, trying to kick her legs to no avail.

“You can help by just disappearing already,” The brown haired boy seethed at Aria. He then grabbed one of her legs going up to kick him, and then held the other one more tightly. Aria tried to wiggle and squirm out of the hold, but the boys held onto her tightly as they hauled her over to where the empty crates and boxes were.

“I am not cursed!” She screamed as she struggled to get out of the hold while the others in the group cheered and jeered, save one small boy. Suddenly, she was thrown down roughly into an empty chest. When she went to raise her head, the lid was slammed down, bumping her head. Aria cried out and held her head as the sound of muffled laughter could be heard outside the wooden contraption.

    “Guys, this isn’t right.”

    “Shut up, Tobin.”

“If you don’t like it, then leave. We’re going to get rid of the problem once and for all.”

Aria recovered enough from being hit on the head and pushed up on the ceiling, only to not be able to make the lid budge at all. There was hardly any room in this box; she couldn’t even use her legs to push up on the ceiling it was so cramped. “LET ME OUT!” She screamed in terror. She pounded the surface above her, only to be met with what she assumed was a kick on the side.

“You shut up too. You wanted to help out, didn’t you?”

“Well now is your chance. Alright, let’s drag her out.”

Tears were streaming down Aria’s cheeks as she realized what was happening. She kicked, yelled and slammed her fists all around her to try to get out, but they had her locked in tight. “Why are you doing this?!” She shrieked, her own voice deafening her in this tiny space. “I’m not a curse! THIS ISN’T MY FAULT!!! LET ME OUT OF HERE! LET ME OUT!”

Her pleas landed on deaf ears. She felt the box being dragged on the ground as she continued to kick and punch at the wood to try to break it. Aria began to sob after struggling for what it seemed like a while, and then she felt the box begin to roll.

Her small, thin body slammed against all sides of her wooden prison for a good minute until it suddenly came to a stop. Her head was spinning and her body ached and stung in various places all around. The girl pulled into a fetal position, her knees pressing against the wooden sides while her hands rested behind her neck as she moved her chin close to her chest. What did she do exactly to deserve this? Why did they feel the need to do it?

“UNCLE LANAR!!!” Her voice tore through her throat, and she ignored the throbbing in her head and the ringing in her ears from shouting out in an enclosed space. Her chest shook as she cried some more. “AUNT ANJA!!!”

No one ever replied to her screams for help.

Aria shuddered and then scrambled up to her feet as soon as Kefka had been sucked into the darkness. She then turned to Torrin, eyes wide with fear. This couldn’t be happening, not again. She had a feeling the Light Chaser wouldn’t be here to save the world this time. She looked at her bracelet briefly and then back to Torrin. “What do we do?!” She asked, yelling above the noise yet trying to stay calm as she could. “We can’t just leave this world suddenly behind!!! Not like this!”

First the sky had turned dark and then their driver had a panic attack, neither of which were particularly good in their own regards. The ground shook once more, leading Chrono to use the sides of the sidecar to keep himself stable. "Take's right. Whatever you need help with, we can at least try to provide it." Getting her calmed down was the first thing that they would need to do before dealing with what was going on around them.

Qamar heard Take and turned to him, grabbing his hands. "It's not my fault, okay?!" she said, looking up at the sky again. "I didn't do it this time! I gotta get out of here, I gotta get back home or...or somewhere safe or something!" Her eyes darted around and she sat back on her motrocycle. "Get on now, come on, we gotta get to the others and get out of here! This place is ending, we can't do anything!"

Her heart was racing as the memories of previous worlds started to speckle back into her head. A headache was looming over her and she just wanted to get away from this all. Once Take and Chrono were settled, she looked to Boreas, Tinarah, and Glyde. "We gotta get to Torrin and Master Thallassa. They already know this world is doomed, so we gotta figure out where to go!" she said, looking towards the tallest building. She zoomed off as soon as she could, going faster than ever before. They still had a moment to get going though, so she glanced towards Take. "I...I"m sorry I grabbed your hands...I....I've had problems." she said, turning back to look forward. "But...I'm not exactly sure how to explain it, so...I won't. Sorry."

With Boreas mounted up and Qamar already taking off, Boreas called for Glyde to get on then turned to Tinarah. "
You can hop on, Tinarah." Boreas said, motioning to one of the bench-like seats on the side, it was the best he could do for them and it wasn't exactly the most comfortable, but it would get the job done. When the two of them were also seated. "Hold on. We're going to ge-" Boreas was cut off by the clouds rolling in and the ground shaking. This wasn't good at all. "That's it we're getting off the ground. Now..." Boreas told his passengers as he took off. Qamar had told them to get to Thallasa and Torrin, but for Boreas that didn't need to be said, they had to regroup pool their strength and fight if they could. He didn't exactly like the skies darkening like this in combination with the ground shaking, as they soared through the sky at honestly rather reckless speeds, showing Boreas wasn't too used to having passengers along and if they were along they didn't mind a rough ride. Boreas spared no expense to race to the top of the building, the skies darkening further and he noticed pools of darkness starting to form. This really wasn't good, he hadn't seen this sort of thing before so he just raced for the top of the building and performed what could be vaguely called a landing before joining Aria, Torrin and Illiana. Aria was wondering what they were going to do. "Fight it if we can. I take it either of you know more about this, can we fight it?" Boreas directed the question more to Torrin. He was nearing the end of his rope but he prefered fighting to running, even a fighting retreat.

Illiana felt her strength coming back to her. The pain in her head had been calming down. "About time." She looked over and saw her keyblade go back to its umbrella form. She opened it up and laid on it her shoulder. She looked over and saw her clothes returned to the costume Edna had made. "Interesting. Very interesting." As the man they were just fighting reintroduced himself, Illiana looked up at the sky and took this time to give herself a few moments of reprieve. She reached into her pocket and held out a bracelet. The charm that was dangling was half of a yin and yang symbol. The sun had been hitting the charm slightly. As she looked at it, she noticed the sky was changing rapidly. She immediately put the bracelet away. Before she could question it, Kefka had broke free of his bindings. She noticed the dark puddle swallowing him bit by bit. As he swallowed by the darkness, Illiana shook her head and looked away. The earth beneath had started to rumble. "Not good." She looked over as Aria wanted to help this world from its fate. She looked back at the citizens and looked up at the sky. "We need to move! Now!!" She started to back up a bit as she shouted. "If you fall here, who's going to help them?! If you really want to save them, then we have to get moving!!" Illiana looked up at the sky as the earth beneath her shook once more.

While she was not comfortable going with Boreas, Tinarah prepared to leave, haven taken up a seat on his keyblade glider. Before they could set off though darkness filled the sky and a long forgotten dread filled her. The last time she had seen this happen was five years before... or days, depending on who you asked. Either way Tinarah knew it as trouble. It was when something similar had happened that they had lost Aria for the first time. She returned to them, but the world was nearly lost, only to be saved by the Light Chaser. Even that though, Tinarah was not quite sure about everything that she had been told by him now.

Boreas decided that they were taking off and heading for the others, and Tinarah didn't argue. They landed near where the other group was, and Tinarah summoned her keyblade as she stood from the glider. Boreas suggested fighting, but Tinarah was not sure if they should. Last time they had to run because not even Choma and Atmos were able to stop what was coming. That being said she wasn't going to sit there and cower if others were fighting. Not ever going too far from the glider, Tinarah took a fighting stance, once more settling on what Torrin had taught her to defend herself if need be.
"I don't think we can fight it." Tinarah said quietly but it wasn't her call to make.

Since landing, they hadn't done much more than walking into town and fighting off a relatively small group of Heartless. Yet here they were, racing against the clock to accomplish their goal before the world fell into darkness. One had to wonder just how quickly things were progressing with Torrin's group if things had gotten this far already. Why one might even think that she and her friends had been battling those relatively weak enemies for over a week instead of a mere few minutes.

But that was simply unthinkable; time didn't stretch in such ways. What was she even thinking? Ridiculous.

"As long as he isn't an inky black shadow that goes about terrorizing innocent civilians, I'd say it doesn't matter whether or not Dentro has a heart."

"Huh? Really? I...think you get along with him better than I do... Well either way, I think I see where we need to go." Koa spoke up, raising an eyebrow. Dentro had already begun to speed ahead of the two to get there first. They were seriously outnumbered but it was unlikely they would have to face them all considering the amount of Heartless that were shooting out of the ground.

"The only hope there is of saving this world is by sealing this world's keyhole. Thallasa's already out looking for one but I doubt she'll find it. I've never seen one." Torrin felt the darkness rising. "We still need to find our exit to the next world." He added, watching as Heartless began to pour out from the dark pools that popped up throughout the city. "Either way we need to buy time for Thallasa!" Torrin called out to the others as they arrived.

"Chrono, Tinarah, go with Frozone and Machina. Just clear out as many Heartless as you can."

"Elastigirl and I will take these two," Mr. Incredible motioned towards Qamar and Glyde, "and do the same. I don't know what this is but no monsters are going to destroy our city!"

"Everyone else, we need to split up and search for Thal–"

"Hey there friends! Torrin! You're here too! Long time no see, huh?" Dentro jumped off his glider and landed in front of the group of keybladers and looked around at the chaos around him. "Looks like the city is in need of some heroes, huh? Go run along. Split up. Delay the inevitable. Just do whatever you can to make our jobs easier."

"What the hell Dentro!? This isn't time for games! This world is falling. Either help us or save your own skin."

Dentro shook his head and looked up at the keyblade gliders circling overhead. "Nah. I think we'll stay put. Every second we spend chatting is another your new friends could be spending running off and playing hero." He aimed his keyblade at Aria. "Just leave her behind and we'll be on our way."

"Boreas, I think it'd be a welcome change for you to fight another keyblade wielder instead of more Heartless."

"Oh? Your bringing your friend in on this? Then let me bring in mine! Koa get your ass down here! Come on Chrys! Show 'em how it's done!"

"I suppose there's no way around this, then." Koa landed beside Dentro and avoided eye contact with Illiana. "Don't be stupid. Just hand her over. We're doing this for the good of all worlds. The sooner we have all of the Princesses of Heart the sooner worlds will stop falling into darkness! We'll be able to restore everything that was lost. Why would you be against that?"

"I'm not wasting my time debating with the likes of any of you Chasers." Torrin spat. "Take, Aria, come with me. We need to get moving." He had seen Illiana fight and knew the girl would be capable of holding her own. Adalric seemed tough enough to leave at Boreas's side. Torrin summoned his keyblade glider and motioned for the two to get on while Boreas, Illiana, and Adalric held off Chrys, Koa, and Dentro.

The girl was relieved to see that her friends were alright and everyone seemed to be getting their strength back. Aria was getting all sorts of answers to her questions, most of them being to get a move on and live to see another day. Or at least, get out of the situation to see how they could better help. Or fight it head on. In which either case, her thoughts and the answers she was getting were interrupted when someone jumped into the fray...

Aria only recognized Dentro from the guy Torrin crashed through the window and made a mess of the breakfast table. She flinched when the keyblade was suddenly pointed at her, and then she stiffened, clenching her fist.
No... How did they find me?! Aria's mind went to the bracelet and she dug her nails into her glove. It didn't track, she was told that by at least two masters... But something wasn't right.

Another familiar face jumped in and Aria found herself holding her breath. "
Koa..." Her eyes darted over to Illiana, remembering the talk they had back on the pirate ship about her sibling. She half-listened to Koa's demands. It was as if Aria wasn't even there and she was some chip to bargain in a war. That, and she didn't full-heartedly take the Light Chaser's side... Not with erasing all of the darkness for good from people part of the plan anyways. Her hand pressed against her chest, thinking on to the nightmares she had as a kid that haunted her even now. Wouldn't destroying all of the darkness in someone be just as bad as taking away all of the light?

She snapped out of it when Torrin called for her and looked to see his glider was ready for her, and she heard Take being called as well. She didn't want to leave the others behind, but she was at risk here if she stayed. "
Should have kept me with you while you had the chance!" she called out to the Light Chasers. "Good luck guys!" she called to her teammates, especially to Illiana. Aria then made a mad dash for the glider and hopped on, waiting for Take to join them as well. She wasn't quite sure why he was coming along, but Take was one of the people she trusted the most in this party. At least she would be with familiar company besides Torrin.

Barely reunited with their friends, Torrin was already sending them off in different directions to deal with the heartless and buy time for Thallasa to seal the keyhole. However they weren't able to get that far with that before others started to pop down in front of them, some of which Tinarah recognized, others in which called for Aria. Her eyes rested on a brown haired boy, one of the first faces she had seen after passing out all those years ago. He had saved her but also took her from her friends and let the Light Chaser send her off. They were the ones that had held Aria and took her away from them, and now they were back to do the same thing once more. Tinarah knew that she was supposed to be fighting the heartless, but she couldn't bring herself to do that, not when these people were here in front of her.

Tears in her eyes, Tinarah moved forward, trying to place herself between Aria and the Chasers.
"You will not take her again. I won't let you!" Tinarah almost shouted at them as she held her ground. While she was nervous and shaking slightly. She had seen the power of their master and it was truly frightening. She couldn't imagine what his students could do, but Tinarah was not going to let them get away with trying to take Aria away. "Just leave us alone already! Why are you so insistent on tormenting us?" Tinarah asked them as she continued to stand her ground. If any of them moved to take Aria, then Tinarah would fight, but she was too frightened to make the first move.

Illiana was continuing to monitor the sky and she heard a familiar voice. She turned around and saw Dentro. "Well if it isn't the little pervert missie. And here I thought you would bring your cane, you look like your knees are going to give out." Dentro had continued his conversation with Torrin. He had asked to hand over Aria over to him. She rolled her eyes before speaking. "Will you just shut up already? You sound like a cliche villain in a movie." She sighed before Dentro had spoken once more. His next sentence had taken away her next breath. "Koa get your ass down here! Come on Chrys! Show 'em how it's done!" Her head immediately turned at the sound of the voice she had desperately wanted to see. "I suppose there's no way around this, then." She didn't want to believe it. As if it was too good to be true, there he was in the flesh. Koa had avoided eye contact with her as he asked to hand over Aria as well. She couldn't speak. It was as if her brain had shut down. She clenched her fists before turning her head a little bit. "Go now. Stay safe, understand!?" As Aria wished the three good luck, she nodded her head, her head facing the ground. As Tinarah stepped forward and shout at the chasers, Illiana raised her voice. "Tinarah!! Go now!! This isn't your battle to fight right now!! Chrono! Take her and leave now!! That wasn't a request!!!" She raised her voice at Chrono and Tinarah to leave while they still can. She took a deep breath to calm down before walking up a couple steps. "What's wrong? Can't look me in the eyes anymore?......Little Brother..." She paused, collecting her thoughts before continuing. "Well?...Two years...You disappeared off the face of the world. You somehow find your way back, you don't let anyone else know about your return....Am I getting this right so far? Please stop me if I'm wrong at any point." Illiana continued to walk up. "Quare? Quid illa? Cur non sunt, et abierunt post te video nostrae familiae ut tamdiu? Quare? Nonne tu non vis ad nos? Quod?1" She walked up to Koa as she tried to get her answers. "Why won't you look at me?! Why? Why did I have to find out about my own brother's whereabouts from somebody I barely know?!?!?! Answer me!!" Illiana had shouted as she faced her brother. She wanted answers. The person she had thought was dead and gone from her life had come back to her within the blink of an eye. She didn't want to fight him. How can she? Koa was her little brother. There was no way. "Koa...We need to go home... They can fight whatever petty fight they want to. We can go home. Mom, Dad, and the others are waiting for us. Let's go, alright?" Illiana had a sad smile on her face and held out her hand as she was trying to hold back tears. At that moment, a small memory had come to her mind. A memory of earlier times.
A knock on the door had interrupted the festivities that were ongoing in the Salavic household. The entire family looked over at the door. Each member exchanged a confused look at one another. The knocking continued before the father stood up. The mother stood up as well and walked over with the father. They opened the door to find four members of Parliament at their doorstep. “Good afternoon. I assume this is the Salavic residence.” The parents looked at each other before nodding their head ‘Yes’. “Excellent. Is there a ‘Koa Salavic’ present here?” The children ran into the foyer, curious as to who decided to visit their home. The parents’ eyes widen before answering. “Yes. Is there a reason why you’re asking about my son?” The father spoke to the member asking. Each member looked at each other before nodding their head at each other. They faced the father before speaking. “I assume you are Ryden Salavic.” Ryden nodded his head before opening his mouth. “Yes. Now please answer my question. What business do you have with my son?” The two children went closer to their parents. Their mother had told them to head back to the living room with a reassuring smile on her face. “It is very important. May we come in?” Ryden looked over to his wife. She looked back at him then at the four before looking back at her husband. She had nodded her head. “Please be quick. We are currently in the middle of a celebration.” “Of course.

With that, the adults had walked into the living room. The children had confused looks on their face as they saw the visitors entering the room. “
Mommy? Who are they?” “Mom? What’s going on?” Their mother patted their heads as she smiled and answered her children. “Everything’s fine. Mommy and Daddy are just going to have a talk with these nice gentlemen. Go upstairs to your rooms, okay?” Koa nodded his head. He immediately went upstairs to his room. His sibling looked at their mother, clearly worried. However, they obeyed their mother and went up to their room.

Please answer our question. What business do you have with our son?” Ryden looked over the four members as he reiterated his previous question. “We are here today to notify you that your son is to be drafted into a special squad the Imperial Army is putting together.” Both Ryden and his wife’s eyes widen in shock. Silence passed through the room for several moments before Koa’s mother spoke. “Absolutely not! He’s only a child!! There is no reason why a child should be fighting in a war!!” “And you must be his mother, Naomi Salavic?” Naomi clenched her fists as she continued. “My name is not the topic of this discussion! Why, in the gods’ name, are you asking our son to fight in this war? He is only a child!” Ryden placed his hands on Naomi’s shoulder as he sat her down on the sofa. He rubbed her back to soothe her and calm her down. “Precisely why we need him. Ever since the war started with these outside dark warriors, our numbers have been dwindling with each battle. At this rate, the kingdom will fall and so will our world. We must fight these enemies with light. Children know nothing of darkness and only know of light. They will be what ends this war and keep our home safe and sound.” Ryden and Naomi couldn’t believe what they were being told. Children? Children are the answer to ending this time of war? They were absolutely speechless over their reasoning. As it was being discussed, one of their children had snuck out their room and began sneaking down the stairs to eavesdrop on the conversation.

They got close enough to hear what was being said in the room ahead of them. The child had suspicions about whether or not the conversation their parents were having was a pleasant one. Their suspicions had been proven right. The conversation continued in the other room as Naomi had a look on her face as if she was going to fight each of the four that was standing in her living room. Ryden tried to stay as calm as he could be. “
I’m sorry but we’re going to let you bring our son onto a battlefield. I’ll have to ask you to leave now.” The four looked at each other before looking back at the parents. “I’m sorry but your son will be coming with us whether or not we have your permission.” The child’s eyes widen as she was shock over what she had heard. They clenched their hands at the thought of their brother fighting in a war, at the risk of losing his life, especially at a young age. The child couldn’t stand to hear anymore. As Ryden stood up, the child ran into the rooms with a scowl on their face. “No!” The parents and the Parliament members looked at the child as they spoke up. The four raised an eyebrow before Naomi and Ryden walked over to their child. “Sweetie, go back to your room. It’s okay.” Ryden had then spoke. “Listen to your mother. Don’t worry everything is fine.” The child had then walked over to the four. They looked over at each member before speaking. “What if you brought me instead of my brother? Would that be okay?” The four looked at each other and then back at the child. Naomi and Ryden looked at their child and walked over to them. Ryden placed a hand on their back as if to guide them back to their mother. “Go with your mother now sweetheart. Your mom and I can handle this.” They stepped away from Ryden, shaking their head. “No! They’re not taking Koa!” One of the members had then spoke up. “You would go in place of your brother?” They nodded their head and another member spoke. “Are you sure about this?” They then spoke up. “I wanna protect my family. If that means joining the army, then let me do it.” Each member looked at one another before nodding their head. “If you feel that strongly then surely you will be able to help us end this war.” Ryden and Naomi’s eyes widen as Parliament made their decision. The child looked up at the four before one of them spoke. “Illiana Salavic….Starting today, you will be drafted into a special squad we are putting together to end this war. You’ll have one day to pack up your things before we send someone to collect you. Do you understand?” She nodded her head and spoke. “Yes.” Ryden and Naomi couldn’t believe what was happening. Before the two could even process anything. The four looked at each other and bowed. “Wonderful. Well...We shall now take our leave. Good day.” The four Parliament members made their way outside. Ryden had chased after them shouting at them. “No!! You can’t do this!! Get back here!!” Naomi ran after her husband as the four got onto their individual horses. “I believe your daughter has made her decision. It’s out of our hands. Unless you would like to send your son…” Both of their eyes widen. Naomi had then shouted at the individuals on their horses. “You can have neither of them! They’re staying here with us!!” Another individual had then spoke up. “Then I guess our conversation is over. The decision remains the same. Good day.” The horses went off in the direction of the castle, ending the conversation. Koa looked from his window to see his parents upset. Ryden held his wife as she sobbed over the events that had took place. Illiana had clenched her fists and then looked over at a cake that was on the table. The icing on top of the cake had read “Happy 10th Birthday Koa!
Trying to hold back her tears, she kept her sad smile and waited for her brother's answer.
