No, crap this was bad. This was really bad. As Tinarah watched Take's body drop to the floor a familiar voice flooded her mind. "Take challenged me and, for some reason, could not survive the attempt to remove the light from his heart...." No she wouldn't let him die. She wouldn't lose him. This time she was here, she could do something about it, she could prevent his death. The music twisting around her became a little more sorrowful and angry as Tinarah turned her attention briefly to her fallen ally. "Come on, get up, please get up." Tinarah begged quietly as she turned towards Take casting cure on him, praying that she wasn't too late.

Once there was nothing left that she could do, her attention turned back to the enemies. It was clear going for the woman was futile at this point. While Tinarah had no desire to attack Mr. Incredible, there was no avoiding it. To get to the woman controlling him and to the device blocking their magic they had to go through him. Under her breath she apologized to the man before she went in, trying to put her entire effort into taking Mr Incredible down quickly and getting to the real targets that rested behind him.

A rush of inspiration seemed to sweep across the party, and Glyde was no exception. Motivated by Boreas' call, he felt a wave of strength fill into him. The further damage done against the generator left him greater confidence; their cause was regaining lost ground.

Untouched from the previous bout of combat, and empowered by his ally, Glyde took a gamble. He continued to move with his Keyblade in a firing position. This time, he followed the direction of the fighting, closing towards Mr. Incredible and Mezmarella. He fired a Shot at Mr. Incredible, hoping to keep in check as he he rushed to direct a series of strikes against Mezmarella.

The fight was going alright, until the counterattack came. Qamar was hit hard, as was Take, with the latter going down. Boreas for a moment debated whether to sound the reatreat even if it wasn't his call to make but rather Frozone's. Mezmerella was agile and as she weaved through the fight Boreas kept his eyes on target and as the spinning kick came in, Boreas blocked with his keyblade, but the weariness of an almost sleepless night cost him as he only softened the blow, forcing him back. Qamar's clothing changed as she went after the generator. Boreas touched the communicator he still had from the other day. "Master Thallasa, the device should be coming down any moment. What is the situation up there?" He asked.

Tinarah got Take back up and saw it as futile to try and go after Mezmerella, who had taunted them. "
I have faced Shadow heartless more fearsome than you! You do nothing but hide behind Mr Incredible you coward!" Boreas shouted as he set about retalliating against Mezmerella. He shifted his Keyblade into it's crossbow form and as Mezmerella weaved through the melee he tracked her when he found the opening he was looking for he fired a Blizzara spell at her. As the spell was cast, Boreas sprung into action again relentlessly hunting for openings in the defenses of Mr Incredible to slip past and attack the coward that was hiding away, he wasn't going to let her get away. Again he wasn't sure how many of his attacks managed to connect, but he was certain he was connecting. "Don't let up! We can still win this!" Boreas shouted in encouragement of his comrades, with everyone at almost the end of their powers the balance was tipping for sure, but it was still in their favour.

    Stuck With Me

About a week after meeting Stamatis, Takehiko had missed a training session and hadn't left his room. It was an abnormality for sure, the boy seemed to run over to train even if he had a bit of a cold. But this time... he wasn't there at all. And while that on it's own may have just called for a day off... Take didn't show up day two either. That definitely indicated something was up, even if Take had never said anything. The boy sat on his bed, hugging his knees and staring down at the front of the bed where the boy had his keyblade laying. Take stared at the keyblade a long time before hiding his eyes and whispering to himself, "No..." and he nudged it further away with his foot.

Atmos had waited for Take to show to the day's lesson but after the boy did not show up, she had simply taught it to Chrono before going to search for the boy. It was unusual for him to miss anything given he was always either on time or early to each lesson. Atmos knocked on Take's door, worried he had fallen ill or injured himself sparring with Chrono. "My I come in?" Atmos spoke up.

Take heard Atmos knock on the door and ask to come in. The boy was silent for a little bit, processing whether or not he wanted to invite her in. But he gave it a bit of time and finally said, "Yeah, you can come in..."

Take's room was pretty clean, everything was folded nicely and kept in an order of some sort. Even the bed Take was sitting on was still made up pretty nicely. Take never brought his shoes into the room, so he just had socks on and his sneakers were left just outside. The only item that was Take's, at least the one thing that resembled a lived in condition, was a small stone Take always left on the end table. When Atmos was in the room, Take looked up at her. He looked like he hadn't slept in days, and his eyes looked like... well... he had just been crying not all that long ago. The boy looked up at Atmos and managed out,
"Hey..." he let his legs down so he sat cross-legged on the bed and his eyes darted down towards the keyblade still on the bed. Then his next words just sort of... slipped out before he could do anything about it, "Atmos... I can't do this anymore...."

Atmos slowly pushed Take's door open and stepped inside. As always, Take's room was clean and hardly looked lived in. Her eyes briefly fell on the stone that belonged to him and a memory flashed into her mind. Thinking it to be a healthy joke she had once moved the stone to a different location. When the boy became distraught as he tore through his room, intending to do the same to the whole castle, she quickly returned the stone to him and apologized as she had not known such a simple stone was so important to him. Still, she was glad to have seen him so focused on something sentimental.

"What do you mean you can't do this?" She looked down at the keyblade laying on the floor. "What happened, Take?"

Take looked at Atmos for a moment and then looked out of the window in the room and he shook a little. He didn't know how to say it in a way that would make her understand. He didn't think there was a way, but he was going to have to try, "I'm... I'm becoming too much of an outsider..." he felt himself shaking more, he thought his words were coming out clear, but they were coming out with a shakiness to it, a shakiness that was anything but how Take would act, "A-A-At this rate... I-I don't know how I-I'd be able t-to go back to my home-homeworld. I'm starting to feel t-t-to distant. I-I don't want to become... become an outsider. I-I-I was just starting t-to fit in. E-everything was going perfectly before..." Take felt a tear stream down his face and he moved his hand to quickly wipe it away, but his keyblade flashed off the floor, and into his hand instead. Take glared at it and said, "Everything was fine until this keyblade decided to show up five years late!" Take threw the keyblade in his anger towards the window, but it didn't collide, it simply disappeared into light.

The boy felt more tears pouring out as he looked at Atmos and he managed out,
"I don't want the keyblade anymore. I just want to go home. Go back to the way things were. I'd rather go back to their mental torture than feel myself grow distant from my homeworld. I don't want Shoji to hate me." Take's voice broke as he managed out through tears, "I don't want Akio to look at me like I'm a stranger. I don't want my parents disappointed in me." he held his hands out and felt the keyblade materialize in his hand again, and he held it out to Atmos with a look of desperation in his eyes, "I don't want it anymore. Please. Just take it away or something. I don't know if you can. I don't know if it's right. I don't care. I don't want this anymore."

"When I first learned that I was chosen my family distanced themselves from me." Atmos spoke after a moment of reflection, empathizing with Take's position. Though she had never worried to the extent that he did about what would become of her ties with her family, she at least knew of isolation. His mention of Akio reminded her of the cheery younger brother he had and she could not imagine him growing distant from his brother.

"The bonds between family are stronger than you think, Take." She placed her hand on his keybade and made him lower it. "When the time comes, they will realize you are serving a greater purpose, that you are part of something much bigger than yourself. When you are ready you will be able to return home and help your people. It might take them time to get used to the new you but they will accept you." She assured him.

"The keyblade chose you for a reason. Even those who receive the inheritance ceremony cannot wield the blade if they are not worthy. This is your duty and no one can take that from you."

Take felt the keyblade being pushed back towards him and he looked back down at it. His hands shook even more as he asked, "What if they don't accept me? What if..." Takehiko felt the keyblade finally slip through his fingers and disappear into light. The boy kept holding his hands out and he let them fall, "My homeworld hates change.... they've never liked me... but I've always loved my family... my friends..." Take grabbed his wrist and stared at it, "I just... I feel like... for so long I've tried to become accepted... and this can't help that... when I was little they still talked about an old master from my world. The weird old man who didn't care about the well being of the people because he thought too much about other worlds... why would I want that kind of a life or legacy?" he looked back at Atmos and asked, trying to stop himself from crying, "If the keyblade chooses the wielder, is the wielder not given the choice to reject it?"

"The kind of legacy that weird old man left must have changed many lives for the better. You may not understand it because you've only seen the troubles of your world but there are other worlds out there in need of help. One cannot simply abandon them just because of a fear of rejection." She spoke calmly. "The keyblade will not leave you unless you become unworthy to wield it. If you were to commit an act just to make yourself unworthy just to get rid of the keyblade, I am certain you would not be able to look anyone you care for in the eyes anymore. You have a choice in how you act right now, Take. You can either become a man who would make yourself proud or you can live your life never making a difference because you allowed fear to control you."

Takehiko thought for a moment about it, so there was a way. But there was a part of him who knew that if he went down that kind of a path, he'd never forgive himself for it. Take rubbed his eyes and looked at Atmos, there was a small chuckle that came out of him before he looked at Atmos, and for the first time he was pretty sure in years, he smiled at someone, "I guess you're stuck with me then." it didn't take long for the smile to fade and the tears to come back as he said, "I'm not happy about it but... it doesn't have to deal with you I just... it hurts to process it... forgive me."

When Take smiled there was something about him that she had not noticed before. She had been told the boy was different by those who had chosen her to be his master. There was a light about this boy that she had been trained to see but never witnessed for herself before. Perhaps the shell he had placed around himself had kept her from seeing it until now but at last she knew what he was. Even though it confused her greatly. She had thought them all to be women...

Atmos smiled in return towards her student. "It's an honor to be stuck with you, Take. I've been very fortunate to have students such as yourself and Chrono."

Take sniffled a bit and smiled again at her, he rubbed his eye and said, "Um... I know I've already missed yesterday but... you wouldn't mind if I held off for the rest of the day would you? I'll be ready tomorrow..." Take shifted and rubbed his other eye and said, "I'm really tired..." he sniffed slightly and rubbed his wrist as he added, "...and hungry, but I don't know if I should eat or sleep first..." he looked a little embarrassed, but he also looked like he was starting to return back into that shell again.

Atmos nodded in response to Take and moved closer to give the boy an embrace now that the aura around him was beginning to fade. She wished it would stay. "Of course. I understand. I'd suggest a short rest before eating." She looked down and noticed that Take was rubbing his wrist but said nothing of it. It was a curious habit of his. "You being here to train is important. Not just for the sake of other worlds but for yourself as well. Being able to become more than you are and grow is every bit as important. Learning to be you is a lesson that takes time but I believe you're getting the hang of it." Teasingly she ruffled the boy's hair.

"I'll keep this quiet from Chrono, don't worry. And Take? You do not need to feel ashamed of those feelings of yours. They'll always be a part of you." She said as she turned to leave the room.

Take nodded in response, thinking about her words and feeling conflict about them. He wasn't sure if he could believe that he shouldn't be ashamed. He felt ashamed just for thinking about Atmos seeing him cry. The boy closed his eyes and rubbed his wrist again and the only thing he could say was, "Thank you." before Atmos was gone, and before Take decided to lay back for some much needed rest.

    Episode Takehiko: End

Takehiko felt himself leaned up against the wall as he felt a wash of energy come over him, and that's when the boy realized he had been knocked out. He looked around to make sure no one else was down, but people were standing and that made him sigh in relief. The boy stood up and looked over at Tinarah and managed out,
"Thanks." before the boy quickly charged in and threw all of his energy at Mezmerella, aiming for her face, and knowing a lot of the damage would probably be absorbed by Mr. Incredible. He didn't care that much. He even threw in Blitz+ for some luck.

"I see..." Shutting the book and placing the pen gently down on the table the man took in a deep breath. He shut the black book before returning it to his coat pocket and rising from his chair, nearly wincing at the sound of wood scraping against wood. Chrysanthemum, Koa, and Dentro were off world while Zeno, Avra, and Pagos were training. With some free time available to him he left his lodgings, pulled his black hood back, and ran a hand through his hair to comb back the out of place strands that covered one of his blue eyes. The quietness of the world relaxed him but when quiet was all there was even his own highly trained mind began to wander and grow nostalgic.

The man briskly walked along the brick path while looking down at his gloved hands, pulling them off to stuff them down into his pockets. After several minutes of walking and more silence he arrived at the steps of a small flower shop. An elderly woman with platinum blonde hair was tending to her plants. "You're back." She spoke softly. "Others like yourself came looking for you a few days ago. Did they ever return your journal page?"

"No but I'm sure they will when they find me." The Light Chaser responded casually. "It's another quiet evening." As he spoke he approached a golden flower and touched one of its petals, allowing it to slide past his fingers and bounce once he pulled away. "How do you deal with it? One can only read in silence for so long."

The elder smiled and raised a watering can to begin sprinkling the potted plants. "My daughter, before she passed, was quite the troublemaker so I never had to 'deal with' the quiet. When she passed and left her own daughter in my care, the little babe could do nothing but cry!" She chuckled at the memory and hefted the can over her head, struggling to reach a hanging pot. The man hurried over to take the can from her and water the flowers for her. "Such a nice young man. Now where was I..."

"Hardly." The Light Chaser mused, setting the can down. "You were telling me about your granddaughter."

"Ah yes. She was such a special girl. She held such a powerful light." The woman frowned. "I suppose she would be a young woman by now."

    "What happened to her?"

"An older gentleman came for her telling me of how she was in grave danger. I sent him away for I did not believe it. That night dark creatures came for her only to be stopped by that same man." She lowered her head. "My granddaughter has probably forgotten about me, my goodness it has been such a long time..."

"I-I'm sorry if I upset you. I can come back another time."

"No no. It's quite alright. I just miss her so much."

"Of course...I know what that's like."

The generator had been destroyed. Mezmerella had gone into a panic knowing she had failed by keeping Mr. Incredible defending her rather than focusing on the generator. "No! Nonono!" Incredible had still tried to defend her from the attacks that came her way but with her mind darting to thoughts of fleeing Mr. Incredible's actions became slower and slower. Mezmerella was grazed by Glyde's keyblade before Incredible put himself between the two. Then Boreas came but Incredible was busy tanking a series of attacks by Tinarah. Even the powerful superhero was beginning to feel the pain of battle. Mezmerella was looking roughed up and her goggles were almost out of place. "Gah you're useless!" She shouted in frustration as she adjusted the goggles. By the time she looked up, Takehiko was upon her. She tried to step out of the way but the blade caught her goggles and shattered one of the lenses.

"Ah!" She shrieked and ripped off the goggles. "You brat!" She pointed at Mr. Incredible and pointed at the boy. "Kill him now! Kill them all!"

Mr. Incredible flexed his muscles and narrowed his eyes. He brought his fist back ...and spun around to knock Mezmerella out with the flick of a single finger, sending her flying backwards and crashing into the ground. Mr. Incredible placed his palm to his forehead and groaned. "Ugh why does it feel like I've been hit by a hundred trucks?" He looked up and blinked, looking around at the others. Spotting Frozone, he chuckled. "Should I be offended that you're trying to replace me Frozone?" He took a deep breath and stood upright, looking to be no worse for wear. "Looking good, kids. Glad to see-" His eyes hovered over Glyde. "Uh...good to see most of you got into the hero business! The super community could always use more young faces."

"Incredible! You're back! Hele-I mean Elastigirl is going to be excited to see you back to your old self!"

    "Speaking of...where is she?"

"Get this, this group of villains are calling themselves The Unforgivables! She went with the others to go into some grand battle against them."

    "Not good."

"I know! The name was stupid. They even called us Team Incredible instead of Team Frozone! That's messed up."

"No not that! Where are the others now?" Mr. Incredible looked at the keybladers waiting for answers.

    Mr. Incredible joined the party!

"The generator's gone?" Thallasa frowned. Sensing that Boreas was right she knew that now she would at least have her magic back. She looked over to see Illiana knock out Bomb Voyage and Elastigirl rush in to apprehend the villain. She and Adalric had made progress in their battle against Incognitus but the masked man seemed to be resistant to damage. His magic even seemed to be unaffected by the Magitek device. She raised her keyblade to attack but the man stepped back and held his head in his hands, yelling in pain. Thallasa raised her eyebrow and wondered if it was some sort of trap.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR PUPPET!?" Kefka let out an enraged shout.

"The battle's almost over here, Boreas. We're just mopping up now." It seemed like whatever was going on with Incognitus was preventing him from acting.

Something about Incognitus freezing up really upset Kefka which only made Torrin feel better. Between him and Aria, the clown had nowhere to run and was losing steam fast. "Alright we're done here. Goodbye and good night!" Torrin leaped into the air and spun his keyblade overhead. In the air the blade lengthened and the hand guard broke free and opened to form a crossguard. Torrin brought down the greatsword onto Kefka, shattering the ground beneath them and sent the clown shooting backwards through the wall of flame which began to fade almost immediately after leaving a scorched ring. The white aura around Torrin faded and the form's power dissipated.

"Good riddance." Torrin breathed out. "Hey...I feel my magic coming back...Mm...that feels good. Guess they took care of that generator. Knew they could." He laughed and looked at Aria. "We did good. You did good. That entrance move of yours well seriously impressive." He smiled. The lightness of his mood vanished when he noticed that Incognitus was still standing. He readied his blade but when he saw something change about their enemy he didn't make a move to attack. Incognitus's mask fell and his white clothing began to change color. His cloak became a bright crimson color and his shirt turned black.

A young man stood up and grunted, looking around at the others. "W-what's going on? Last thing I remember that clown and that woman...ugh...ow..."

    "...Uh...Incognitus?"

"What?" The young man shook his head. "Who's that? My name's Machina. Machina Kunagiri."

"Well then... That explains why Kefka lost his cool." Torrin scratched the back of his head. "Seems like Mezmerella and Kefka did a real number on you. At least the day's saved, right?"

As soon as the clown and the bomb guy were gone, Aria groaned and unsummoned her keyblade. “
Holy...” She placed her hand on her shoulder and rolled it as she popped it to loosen it up a bit. “That almost reminds me of the one time I got jumped by a horde of heartless while training with Master Choma... I thought it was a test, so I kept at it even though I was being shred to ribbons. Turns out it wasn’t a test.

Aria chuckled sheepishly and then brushed her cape behind her and then combed out her hair with her gloved fingers. “Heh, thanks. Master Choma taught me some acrobatic abilities... but uh,” she dropped her voice to a whisper towards Torrin, “don’t tell him I did that. He’s gonna kill me if he finds out.” She then moved back and moved her neck side to side. “You has some pretty impressive moves yourself. I didn’t get to try that one ability you taught me, but maybe another...”

She trailed off when Torrin’s attention seemed to be turned on to the armored guy. She almost forgot about him. Except, it wasn’t the same person she remembered. Aria rubbed her eyes and was taken aback by the sudden transformation, realizing he was under the cheese lady and creepy clown’s control this whole time. She then looked at Torrin when he mentioned the day being saved and panicked while glancing around her quickly. “Um... well there’s no wood to knock on, so uh... I hope you’re right. I’m just glad we have that stupid machine dead.” She then turned her attention to the new, recently-snapped-out-of-a-trance guy and approached him. “Good to have you back! I guess... at least you not trying to kill us,” she said to Machina. She then stuck out her hand to him with a bit of a smile. “I’m Aria. It’s nice to meet ya.”

After she managed to get Take back to his feet, another round of attacks from Boreas, Glyde and Take left the inhibitor, and the goggles broken. Mr. Incredible seemed to be snapping out of his mind control as well. With him freed he was able to easily take out the crazy lady that was controlling him before he and Frozone started to talk once more. Mr. Incredible seemed to be incredibly concerned with what happened to Elastigirl. It was almost cute really, seeing this worry for her, just like she had worried for him earlier. Tinarah waited patiently for them to finish talking before she finally looked back towards the way that they came.

"The rest went above ground, towards the tallest building in the area if I remember correctly. Hopefully now they will be able to deal with the enemy, but we should help." Tinarah suggested as she looked over her friends, assessing their health after a wave of energy washed through her, calming her soul and making her feel a bit better about things. The magic that she had gotten back that warmed her veins was familiar and left her a little more relaxed, feeling a bit closer to those who had mentored her and taught her. Without much magic on hand she had to turn to the training of the person she would rather not remember. Though what was more comfortable was seeing Take up and walking around again. It lifted a weight off her shoulders as she walked over to the boy for a moment. "How are you doing?" She asked him, knowing her healing powers were sufficient, but still worrying.

When the fight was over, Take kept taking deep breaths to calm himself down, since running from being knocked out to going all out on an attack didn't necessarily feel amazing. He listened intently to the conversation but not feeling up to adding anything else, when Tinarah asked him how he was doing. The boy moved his mask from his face a bit so he could breathe and she could hear him better as he said, "I'm doing alright. I don't remember when I got knocked out, but I imagine it was Mr. Incredible..." Take went to move his other hand again and felt abit of pain and looked at his cast, "I don't think I hurt my hand again, but it's hurting a little... thanks for the heal." he smiled slightly and said, "I know it's been a while for you but I feel accomplished, like my suggestion paid off here..." he realized that was unclear and dropped his hand, "Y-ya know... cause... you were... well, nervous about us getting hurt so I suggested you practiced healing... for me mentioning that was a few days ago but I mean... I'll stop." he put his mask back over and massaged his hurt arm a bit.

Qamar hopped down and watched Mr Incredible launch Mezmerella into a wall, knocking her out. "Well, at least we don't have to worry about her." she noted, stretching. She looked down at herself for a bit and then turned towards the rest of her group as Mr Incredbile started to worry about Elastigirl. It was cute how much he cared. Qamar heard Tinarah explain to Mr Incredible about what happened. She nodded in agreement. "Yeah, they're probably dealing with the clowns up there. I think things are probably over by now, honestly? I destroyed the Magitek Device, so that made things easier for them." she stated, nodding towards the steaming pile of metal and magic.

Her eyes moved over to see Take moving around well enough. Qamar smiled and walked over. "Takehiko, you're alright!" she said, looking over the teen. "You got flung right into me, but I managed to keep you from getting killed. I'm strong after all!" she smiled, holding her arms up and flexing her muscles. "But uh, other than that, are you doin' okay? You're rubbing your arm...sorry I couldn't heal you, but I think Tinarah healed you?" Her head turned to Tinarah a moment before returning to Take.

Takehiko heard Qamar suddenly run on over to check up on him, asking the same questions that Tinarah pretty much just asked so he repeated in his usual monotone,"I'm fine. Arm hurts a bit, I don't think I hurt it more. It just hurts. Thanks... for saving my life I suppose. And yes, Tinarah did heal me." he wasn't exactly sure why she seemed to be talking so much about saving his life. Perhaps Take didn't think it worthy of acknowledgment... then he remembered the last time he saved someone's life he was ostracized, and that made him pause to remember not everyone had to feel the way he did. Take pulled his mask down again and looked away and sighed, "You um... you can call me Take. It's fine."

"It should be about time for the Master to show them the way forward. ...Right?"

"Yes but I still don't understand why we made them go in such a roundabout way."

"All that matters is that they bought the excuse."

"What's that supposed to mean, Kaio?"

"Come now, Kide. You cannot possibly be that blind. What about you Selene? Surely you must have figured it out by now."

"Er...I'll get back to you on that."

"I don't have time for your riddles. Spit it out. I've been too busy working on-"

"I don't care what you've been working on but I shall illuminate the two of you young and ignorant masters. Istilldon'tknowwhyStamatissetthebarsolow..."

    "Hey! I heard that!"

"Anyway, you both are aware that the darkness has been rising at an alarming rate this past month. Correct?"

"What does that have to do with the world Thallasa's group was sent to?"

"Well young Master Kidemonas, that particular world's barriers between itself and the dark space between worlds are quite weak. Stamatis has kept a close eye on it for some time now and when he informed Master Gero of the situation–"

"Master Gero chose to send them somewhere dangerous? Why?"

"Allow me to finish. Master Gero knows the Light Chaser would have sent his apprentices after them no matter where they went. So why not lead them into a world that was doomed to fall before hopping along to their real destination?"

"You've got to be kidding! He wouldn't send a bunch of amateurs and two of our own students into a world ready to plunge into darkness just to take out a few of the Light Chaser's apprentices."

"Yeah! Gero would never do that. I never knew him for as long as you but despite being a tough old man he's got too much of a soft spot for Aria to let her go into something so dangerous!"

"Why do you think he called for Master Thallasa? Her primary concern is protecting the Seven. Not to mention the fact that a certain Dark Prince, a Keyblade Master with experience fighting the Light Chaser, seems to have taken it upon himself to ensuring that the Light Chaser does not prevail. And if Torrin to perish in the battles to come, the King would no doubt come seeking for vengeance and turn the tides in our favor."

"That's a good theory...but how do we know any of that is true? This seems more like one of your chess moves rather than something Master Gero would approve of."

"Because the senior members of the Council made a vote and approved this plan."

"Aster!? Seriously? You chose to send Adalric out there? And Qamar without my consent on this?"

"I voted against this. As did Stamatis and Skia. Gero, Kaio, Varos, and Thyella were the ones who were for this course of action."

"How could you guys vote without us!?"

"It's because Stamatis was the one who promoted us to Council members. Isn't it?"

"If it had been my choice, both of you would have been involved but even I cannot deny the fact that you two lack experience in this area."

"That's almost reassuring...And I take it we're supposed to leave Choma and Atmos in the dark?"

    "I'm afraid so."

"Dammit...Kaio if anything happens to those two-"

"Casualties are inevitable. Unless you would wish to sit idly by and play it safe while entire worlds are destroyed?"

"We don't have the numbers for this."

"So you'd be willing to sacrifice a few faceless keybladers so long as we had more to spare?"

    "What? No! I-"

"You've made my point for me. I suggest you get back to your work and remain useful."

To say that Chrono felt relived once the device had been destroyed would be an understatement as it was practically like someone had removed a weight from his shoulders. He stretched after that feeling, glancing over to Take as he did. It was a relief that his friend didn't seem to be that hurt after taking a blow from Mr. Incredible for him. Yes his sister did use her magic to heal him, but people did the same with his broken hand and it wasn't perfectly healed. "If everything's been taken care of, then we should probably regroup with the others."

The situation was starting to feel a little awkward. Tinarah was glad that Take was okay, she didn't understand why her healing didn't help his hand at all, but she also knew whatever happened there, happened before she really was aware of what was going on, so it wouldn't benefit anyone to ask about it. His comment about her healing and his suggestion just kind of hung in the air. Yes when she was younger she was too scared of getting hurt to do much, but she always intended to help others were she could. "I just don't want to lose any of you again." It wasn't that his suggestion wasn't helpful at all, it was just that wasn't what was on her mind when she had done it. She did it because she thought he might die if she didn't do something.

As they spoke Qamar walked up, practically ignoring her to talk to Take. The way that she spoke about how she saved him from death and that she might have healed him. Tinarah felt rather pushed to the side and unimportant. While Qamar was trying to show off to Take, Tinarah just turned away from the two, leaving them to their conversations as she walked closer to Mr. Incredible and Frozone ready to leave whenever. Her eyes were down turned and there was a sadness radiating from her. Tinarah had been finding it really hard to fit in. She was doing her best to learn how to just talk normally to these people again, she still found conversation with her own brother hard. But it seemed every time that she had tried, something came in the way and she was left alone once more. Perhaps it was stupid to try to form relationships, she was going to go back anyways. Once the threat to this world was dealt with, Tinarah would beg Stamatis or Gero to teach her how to travel back to that other realm, back into the time line where she was still training. Then with Master Stamatis and Uncle Fost's help, she could stop Torrin before he started the war and killed everyone she cared about. None of this would be pretty, so what was the point of building relationships if she was just going to leave and hurt them. Perhaps these were all signs that she shouldn't even try and should just stick with the mission at hand. It would be better if she just followed back to the main group to see where they would go from there, no more attempts to talk or be nice, it wasn't worth it. She had spent a lot of time alone before, it would be no different now.

Torrin lowered his keyblade and walked over to stand beside Aria. "And I'm Torrin. Normally we're not dressed so...tightly." As Machina shook both their hands he smiled at the two surprising Torrin that someone like this could have been hidden underneath that mask.

"Well I like your capes." Machina gestured to his own flowing crimson cape. "So where are we? This doesn't look like anywhere on Orience." Machina placed a hand on his hip and looked around the area his eyes widening upon seeing the burnt ground and broken slabs of concrete. "D-did I do this?"

"Not entirely. Wasn't your fault though. I'm...not sure where your world is though. Never heard of it."

"I believe I have." Master Thallasa headed towards the three and placed her fingers on her chin as she examined Machina who shifted uncomfortable on the spot when she did so. "Yes but I believe I'll have make sure that it has not fallen before attempting to return you to your home. Then there's the matter of that clown. Kefka, was it? He's certainly not from around these parts."

"Well we can keep an eye on Kefka while you search for his homeworld as well." Torrin suggested.

"Hm...yes...but I'm afraid that will not be enough. If the barriers between worlds have grown so thin that anyone with magic can cross through then extreme measure must be taken to prevent anymore intruders to this world."

"I think I know what you're getting at...but isn't that sort of thing forbidden? I mean sealing a world's keyhole is pretty much the opposite of non-interference."

"It's the only thing that can be done. I'll head out first to find the keyhole. That takes priority." Her tone was urgent. Without another word Thallasa jumped onto her keyblade glider and blasted off into the sky.

"Bye to you too?" Torrin folded his arms and looked off to the side where Kefka was laying, face down, and shuddered. Even unconscious the clown was still creepy...somehow even more so. "I've faced giant Heartless the size of buildings and yet somehow that guy's face disturbs me more. Hm..."

"Let's head back up. If they still need help we'll be there to give it to them." Mr. Incredible looked around the tunnel system and glanced over Frozone's way saying, "Hey didn't we fight the Underminer once somewhere near here?"

"Yeah. I'm glad we didn't have to face that weirdo again. All he did was monologue!"

Mr. Incredible nodded in agreement and ran out back to the tunnel system, the sound of ice shattering as the superhero plowed through Frozone's wall echoing in the distance. Any signs of Helping Hats that may have survived the blizzard were nowhere to be found. The tunnels were clear. "There's a ladder over here. Come on!"

Upon exiting the tunnels and heading up through the manhole onto a crowded sidewalk, civilians began to gather upon seeing both Mr. Incredible and Frozone. The superheroes were immediately overwhelmed with requests for pictures and autographs. The moment the keybladers followed through and entered the scene they too were bombarded with question. Everyone except Glyde who was not in costume.

Who are your new sidekicks Mr. Incredible? Nice Gazerbeam cosplay! What's your superhero name? And yours? Are they part of the team that stopped the Unforgivables? Hello there Black and White Beauty! Look it's the Green Cloak! No man that's the wrong insignia. Aren't you a little young to be a superhero? Are you wearing Mode? Are you Frozone's sidekick?

The questions didn't stop and as more people gathered it became more difficult to figure out who was being questioned and what the questions even were.

Aria blew air loosely from her lips, placing her hands on her hips as she watched Master Thallasa speed off. She didn’t understand exactly what was going on, but it seemed really important. “Seems like you were kidnapped,” Aria said as she glanced to the unconscious villain, “by that guy. I’m, uh, gonna tie him up. Just in case he wakes up. Don’t know how effective that would be since he has magic, but,” she shrugged her shoulders, “eh.”

The girl glanced around until she found some loose, thin yet sturdy cables laying around and picked them up. She then knelt by the clown and started with his wrists, making sure to make it as tight as possible so he wouldn’t escape. “I got kidnapped once,” she said to Machina while moving to the ankles to tie them up next. “Well, it was more like the place where we were at fell into darkness and I was saved, but then I wasn’t allowed to leave and I got separated from my friends.”

She then bound the legs, and the torso. She then stood up and clapped her hands together and dusted them off. “Alright... now what do we do? Should we go help Master Thallasa? Or find the others?” She hoped they were alright. Everyone took a bad beating from that whole ordeal.

"Finally." Glyde caught himself panting heavily. He had been seeing his share of rough battles since embarking on this 'adventure,' but those on this world had, thus far, surpassed any challenge he had faced previously. Though the final confrontation felt subpar for his personal strife when compared to the encounter at Edna Mode's, he had found himself in the persisting sensation of having held his breath the whole way. There, seeing Mr. Incredible back in his right mind, Mezmarella defeated, and the debilitating energy of the Magitek generator cut off, he regained a sense of comfort. On a final breath, he righted his posture in time to meet eyes with a rather disapproving looking from Mr. Incredible. "I did say I was no hero," he muttered, resuming his typically dry tone.

With little left to do in the undergrounds, Glyde followed the supers back to the surface.

Immediately the lot of them were flocked by the masses of the city. Everyone, save for Glyde himself, was effectively mobbed by praise and inquiry. With a subtle smile, and a rolling of his eyes, Glyde began to slip out of the thickest share of the mob. He set the end of his Keyblade to the ground and propped himself up from it; though he wasn't so badly injured from the battle, it was good to not have to be entirely on his feet. From a relatively safe position, practically invisible to the droves, he watched on in slight amusement while the crowd bombarded his companions with questions and commentary. Just another good reason to not wear those costumes, he mused.

"You're scary good at that, Aria." Torrin tilted his head, watching as Aria tied up Kefka. Tying a knot might have come in handy at some point for a farm girl like her but tying people up seemed to be pretty easy for the girl. He reminded himself not to get on her bad side.

"I can see why she didn't stay kidnapped for long. She's resourceful." Machina commented.

"Yeah...Anyway, I think Thallasa will move faster without us getting in her way and seeing that the Magitek generator was taken care of..." Torrin eyed the crowd of civilians taking pictures of them. It was no surprise that their battle would have caused a scene. That was Kefka's entire plan after all. He was just thankful that Elastigirl was now carting off Bomb Voyage to the police and that Kefka's presence, even unconscious, seemed to be keeping the crowd at bay. Torrin shifted uncomfortably and scratched his cheek.

"We should wait here. It should be pretty obvious where we are for them. Besides, I'd rather not walk through that crowd. Costume or not, people looking at me like how they look at Elastigirl or those other heroes is just weird." Despite having been a little bit excited to put on the costume and play the part of hero, the attention such a role gained had been lost in his thought process until now. It might have been hypocritical in some sense but he just did not want to be involved like that. "So..." Realizing that his plan to wait meant actually staying put and doing nothing, he tapped his foot against the ground and tried to think of small talk to pass the time. "Black seems to suit you. Somehow it doesn't look so depressing or broody on you." Torrin planted his keyblade in the ground, resting a hand on the crossguard, and coughed. "Uh...nice weather. Very...normal."

With the decision to wait, Aria sat on the ground Indian style with her arms crossed over her chest. “
Thank you,” she said to Torrin, smiling a bit at him. “Meanwhile your costume kind of... yeah.” She laughed to herself. “It matches. It’s nice,” she stated, trying to stay friendly so she didn’t sound like she was such a meany. But the costume did match his personality. Her attention was turned to the sky and she nodded her head. “Clear skies... and sunshine. Nice day for saving folks.

Her eyes then glanced down to the bracelets on her wrist. Her smile faltered as it landed on the golden one and she couldn’t help but to instinctively tug at it until it hurt. No matter how useful it had been so far, it still bothered her that it was there and that it belonged to the Light Chaser. Tracker or not, she didn’t fully trust it.

Qamar gasped when Take gave her permission to call him Take again. "oh my god, really? I can?!" she said, excitedly. She jumped around a little before giving Take a quick hug and squishing the poor boy in the process. She let go and looked at Tinarah, ready to talk to her when she saw the girl had walked off. She had a very sad look upon her face and thus caused Qamar to get a little worried.

She moved over to Tinarah and put a hand on her shoulder, giving the girl a smile. The party moved on and were eventually bombarded with questions from people outside. Qamar started to feel a little uncomfortable with all these people looking at her and asking questions. Trying to think of a way to get out of there, Qamar ran to Boreas. "I think we ought to make a hasty retreat...which means, we gotta fly out of here. There's six of us, so three to each keyglider sounds good, right?" she asked. "What say you? I know they can't use them...they're still too fresh, ya know?"
