Takehiko was a bit surprised at being suddenly pulled away, he must have missed out on some sort of order since everyone seemed to be moving and he had not. That surprised him more than it should have. As he felt the hats come in at him, he braced himself for impact, but fortunately it didn't hurt nearly as much this time. He watched the hats completely ignore Frozone and bit his lip before shouting,"You better be right, I don't like the idea of feeling these hats attack me as I'm running off!" and Take bolted down the tunnel, without throwing an attack at any of the hats.

Aria made a face to show she was creeped out by all villains coming back like what they did to them was nothing. She barely had time to react when all the spells were thrown at her and felt some pain through the protective light bubble.

Aria fell to one knee after it was over, and then forced herself to get up again. She wiped her mouth with the back of her glove to get rid of the residue from the magic attacks. “I don’t go down so easily either,” she muttered.

She then raised her keyblade up to cast another Cura spell, using the last of her recently restored MP reserves, and then moved her keyblade up again, encasing all of her party members in her Rainbow Glow protection. Hopefully that would save most of them from the stronger attacks to come in the next couple of rounds.

With her team taken care of, Aria brought her hand back to her chest, dropping the Drive Form completely and going back to her original costume colors. She then gripped her keyblade and dropped down to an offense position. Aria charged right at the clown, laying out the most powerful blows she could muster. She even fiercely yelled while doing it, trying to disarm Kefka somehow and remembering how offputting it was when Take did it (even though it wasn’t directed at their own team).

Illiana felt the wind get knocked out of her as the three villains had launch their attack. She felt a little cold as she closed her eyes. For a small moment, it was as if she saw a small fire reignite in front of her. She started to feel a bit warmer as she opened her eyes. She got up onto one knee. She then used that knee to push herself back up. Illiana had then felt a healing light over her. She looked over as she had saw that Aria had healed her a bit. Illiana raised her blade and immediately casted Cure on herself. She cracked her knuckles as she was starting to feel better. "What pests you three are starting to be. I'm starting to actually get irritated." She grabbed her blade as she sprinted over to Bomb Voyage. She had unleashed several strikes against the villain. Slash after slash, she ruthlessly continued attacking. She jumped back and immediately guarded herself.

"Thanks!" Glyde called over in response to Take while he regrouped himself in the wake of his previous attack. "Just doing my best to not be dead wei-wait up now..." He drifted off midsentence, becoming aware of the reconstructing hats. Those that hadn't been as severely damaged harvested parts from their ruined kin, and coalesced into larger, assumedly more lethal versions of themselves.

Glyde, anticipating another assault, braced himself against the lashing of the robotic fiends. Preparing to respond in turn, he readied his Keyblade for another offensive. He was prepped to strike another hat, and stopped in mid-swing as Frozone explained that the machines would be less aggressive if they weren't being attacked. "You neglected to mention THAT part!" He chided.

He retracted his Keyblade, resting it across his shoulders. He turned on the spot, and began to run as instructed. "I hope the plan us to cut off the tunnel with those things on the OTHER side of whatever barrier you put up."

Qamar screamed as she was sliced up by the Helping Hats. Her eyes glazed over once they finished and her body slid down the wall and slumped onto the ground. She was barely awake now, wanting to fall asleep badly. Her hair bow had untied and fell out, landing gracefully in front of her. Hand shaking, Qamar reached up and touched the bow. "M...Master..." she muttered, a teal aura emanating throughout her body. Her keyblade, still in her right hand, glowed a Cura spell. She felt better, but didn't feel like moving right now. She barely had the strength to do that.

Tinarah came along and helped her up. Qamar's keyblade disappeared, but her hand gripped the hairbow. After all, she had to readjust her hair once she had a chance. "Th...Thank...you..." she said, moving away from the Helping Hats' new forms.

"Alright then." Glyde turned his head back to the path before him. He sped his pace, allowing Frozone to enact his strategy without the risk of anyone getting caught in whatever crossfire there would be as a result. Seconds later, Glyde was tugging his cloak more tightly, shielding his exposed arms from a biting sensation of a rapidly dropping temperature. He looked back towards Frozone; the hero had created miniature blizzard, sweeping through the tunnels. While Glyde, and no doubt the others, where feeling the effects thereof, the Helping Hats were the ones getting hammered by the storm, freezing through, and shattering as they were blown against the walls of the underground. "That was a hell of a lot better than just putting up a wall," Glyde said, abandoning his prior tone of sarcasm.

As he followed the tunnel further still, Glyde registered the swelling sound of a mechanical humming emanating from somewhere ahead of them. The source of the noise, revealed as the group reached the end of the passage, was a massive machine, housed within a circular room. The entire space was gleaming with a red light, thrown from the machine. Must be the generator, Glyde thought. And we won't be dealing with it any time soon. His gaze, previously staring up at the ceiling and the magitek generator, fell to ground level, where Mezmarella and Mr. Incredible. "So basically what I figured would be the case," he spoke, softly within the range of his allies, citing the presence of Mr. Incredible as the guard for the generator.

Gotta get around the big guy, somehow. Glyde looked upward again, completely to the ceiling. "If you can help me, now would be a good time." Glyde's hand quickly set itself upon his chest; an odd feeling flared in his Heart, as though it were reaching out, and being reached out to in return. The feeling of some power returning swept through him. Thank you, Master.

Then, as always, arrived the question: what would he do now? He surveyed the room. It was a rounded space; if the generator wasn't present, the space would constitute a true circle, but otherwise, was more akin to a doughnut. That would make circling a very natural approach to the battle... natural, but therefore expected. Given his previous encounter with Mezmarella, Glyde was certain that she would be less involved in actual fighting than Mr. Incredible... She'll probably try to tire us out by hiding behind him. Glyde looked to his left, and then to his right. He was already placed on the right side of the group, but then, he could always cut behind everyone and circle to the left. Tinarah's opening engagement , however, sealed Glyde's own plan. If Mr. Incredible was to be used as a human shield, it wasn't as likely that he could protect against attacks from every direction.

"I'm going for her," he said, softly enough that only those remaining within the cluster of the hero party would have heard. Not so inclined as to waste the window of Tinarah's attack, Glyde sprinted around to the right side. He raised his Keyblade to a firing position, and fired a Shot at Mezmarella.

The princess of heart could tell they were ticking off the clown cause how fiercely Kefka was attacking them. She put up her arms to block the electricity, feeling the sting of it radiate through her being. Her bracelet was creating its own lightshow of sorts, making the bubble around her every time the electricity bounced towards her. “N-No,” Aria replied with a smirk, “that actually kind of tickled-”

She then glanced at Torrin and her eyes widened as she caught the last bit of the spell that Kefka pulled. “Torrin!!” Aria felt helpless; she had no magic left to help him. And behind her, Iliana was hit hard on by the bombs. “Alright, my turn.”

She was at it again, forcing Kefka on the defense while Torrin recovered somehow for at least a moment.

Frozone had been right, the hats they destroyed had only rebuilt into even stronger varieties but what the way Frozone had told them not to engage them and just run was what had made Boreas suggest still engaging them. Just running with enemies on your tail sounded like a rout. He had seen what happened during those, even been in one himself, he had seen many fall ever since that time he tried to keep his unit from a disorganised retreat and instead fighting on as they fell back holding their formation. He fell in line with the others being the last to pass Frozone as he sealed off the tunnel with his ice magic. Boreas had to fight down his instinct to strike down his enemies as he ran. He had heard Qamar cackle in the fight earlier when she was hit, something wasn't entirely right with that girl.

Boreas could feel the air temperature drop when Frozone sealed the tunnel behind him. They soon found two of their targets, both the generator and Mr Incredible, but unlike Boreas would have predicted Mezmerella was present too, right within striking distance, were they getting cocky? Tinarah and Glyde had already engaged their opponent. Boreas took a stance and aimed his keyblade forward as a purple glow surrounded him. "We have found what we came here for! Both the generator that has been plaguing us is right here and our hated foe forcing our allies to fight us is here. Victory here means we rid ourselves of two pests who think they can beat us in a war of attrition! Let us show them the error of their ways!" Boreas shouted inspiring his allies to greater feats of martial prowess.

Before Boreas joined the battle, he placed a hand on his activator. "May his Black Banners stand victorious today!" Boreas shouted as dark energy poured from the activator and started to swirl around him as he drew on the power of his King, feeling invigortaed Boreas joined the fray, holding nothing back he went fully at Mezmerella trying as best he could to bypass Mr Incredible, it was difficult but he knew he hit her atleast a few times with the slashes of his blades. He feinted here and there in attempts to get past Mr Incredible's defences. He was still very much focussed on the fight before them, silently thanking for the fact that his blood was still rushing through his veins and the task at hand helping him with fighting off the effects of his rather poor night of sleep, but he was definitely getting weary.

Qamar let go of Tinarah and nodded at the girl. By now, she had regained herself and a smile creeped across her face. "Finally..." she muttered, looking down at her clothes. They were damaged, but they could be fixed later. Besides, it excited her to have a few more scratches added. It got her adrenaline pumping and she could remember the times when this was all she cared for. It was a dark time and she had no qualms with it, but she certainly tried not to get too excited. She also remembers the times that that was a state of mind she couldn't be in without hurting friends or family. Luckily for her, Kidemonas had taught her a way to curb that side of her, but she still relished in the adrenaline.

Boreas ended up invigorating all of them and Qamar felt a sudden urge to beat the ever living crap out of Mr Incredible. Her keyblade was still in it's rapier transformation from before, so that made things easier. The aura was still around her, so she knew she still had that fight in her. Not wanting to cut corners, Qamar launched thrusts at Mr Incredible. She held back a moment, however, to keep some of her energy. She then used Sonic Blade on Mr Incredible to deal more damage.

Feeling inspired by his teammates, but his writer not inspired to flavor this nicely. Takehiko went in and threw on a couple attacks, trying to aim for Mezmerella but knowing how unlikely it was, before he backed away and pointed at Mr Incredible and screamed,"Hey you! Muscle man! Stay away from the gunner and yellow and gray one. Aiight?! Fight me instead!"

Chrys shook her head at Dentro's antics. "There are hardly enough to be having fun just yet. Stay on your guard; we have no idea how many more of these will come after this first batch." Leaping into action, she hacked her way through the remaining shadows before focusing on the last of the Neoshadows. One tried to attack her from the front, but she quickly dodged around and slashed through its torso. Others made to surround her, but she cut through them with a vicinity break that left them all severely weakened. It wasn't particularly hard to finish them off after that. Encouraged by the fact that the enemies' numbers had already been severely cut, Chrys continued to attack further, though she remained cautious.

The green light went around Aria, and she looked down at herself, then to Torrin. “Worrying about you!” She replied back as she jumped back in the fight. “I don’t get hurt easily, remember? But thank you!” She didn’t want to sound like she was ungrateful, but Torrin was one of the stronger fighters. If he got knocked down before this was over, that was going to be bad. She glanced over at the armored guy, seeing he barely had a scratch on him since this fight had started. That was worrisome...

Her attention focused back on Kefka. “Okay creepy-clown Guy,” Aria said through gritted teeth. “Time to send you back to the toy box!” With that, she landed as many hits as she could on the target at hand.

Qamar grabbed Takehiko when he slammed into her. She used her body to hit the wall and keep Takehiko from breaking any other bones or hands. "Takehiko! Wake up!" she called out, holding the unconcious teen in her arms. She laid him down gently against the wall and made sure his jacket was covering him to keep him warm. "I'll be back for you later." she said, stretching. A Cura erupted from her keyblade and washed over her body. The teal aura over her body disappeared as well as she turned to see the Magic machine....defenseless? "Perfect." she smirked, grabbing the bow out of her hair. Suddenly, her clothes changed and she tied the now longer bow around her neck and shoulders. "Time to try this out." she said, rushing towards the machine. A trail of smoke followed her as she took her keyblade and slashed at the cords and lines on the machine. Alarms went off as the machine lost power and oomph. With one last swing, the machine finally turned off and she felt clarity in her mind again.

She turned her head slowly to stare down Mr Incredible. "I'm gonna love this." she said, rushing towards the super. She launched her favorite ability, Penetrator, upon the Hero, stabbing at him. She then moved back and was ready to defend herself if she needed to. "You're welcome for destroying your precious machine, Mezmerella. It was so defenseless, I couldn't help but wonder why you'd defend yourself more than the machine." she said. "I mean, what kind of idiot does that?!" she laughed.
