Chrys giggled a bit as Koa invited her to take the first sip. "Oh come on!" She teased. "Shouldn't you guys be the ones saving me from tasting something awful?" Paopu fruit. An interesting name. Perhaps she had heard it somewhere before. She supposed it didn't really matter. Swirling her cup teasingly at the boys, Chrys brought the glass to her lips and took a quick sip.

"Hmm... Well, I don't think it tastes bad. Not all that different from Pineapple really... There is something different about it though."

While Adalric was not nearly as proficient at dispatching the heartless as many of the others, namely torrin, he took his time about things and approached the situation calmly. Of the heartless, it seemed the large shield bearing heartless and the slender black ones didn't deal elemental damage, which he'd developed an innate resistance to. Logically they should be taken out first. Putting a finger to his keyblade, he ran it down the weapon and it was engulfed in a torrent of liquid.

Taking the offensive, he quickly slashed at the heartless' chest. While the blow itself didn't quite take it out, the rush of cutting water that followed did. Quickly reacting to another one that attempted to scratch at him, adalric did his best to guard against it, though he suspected it wouldn't do meaningful damage to him anyway. As the claws and the majority of their attack was deflected, he watched it go into the ground, seemingly little more than a shadow passing along it. Adalric concentrated for a moment, and ran to the location it was likely to pop up at. It's head had barely left the ground before Adalric's keyblade and the rush of water that followed it plunged into the beast's head.

Qamar nodded at Torrin, knowing he had a better handle on exactly what was going on and what he could tell was coming. Suddenly, she heard screams and looked around to see people running away from heartless. “Finally, some more fun!” she boasted, running forward. While her comrades defeated their own enemies, Qamar was already confident she could dispatch of the heartless with easy. After all, she trained for this day for years. She was more than ready to dish out some hurt.

She approached a defender and laid the smackdown on it, slashing it different ways and jumping forward towards a Bolt Tower once it was defeated. She hopped on the face-ball thing that the Bolt Tower shot out and stabbed it with her keyblade, a wry grin on her face. She enjoyed this as much as she thought she would. Maybe even a little more than was necessary. Either way, she landed on her feet and dusted herself off, glancing around. A neoshadow crept under her and grabbed her ankle. Qamar stared down with disgust, twirling her keyblade around and down into the dark pool the heartless was coming from. A puff of darkness appeared and Qamar had a look of pure amusement on her face. “Stupid creature…” she mumbled.

The sound of a shield and clinking armor loomed behind Qamar. Zapping, crackling noises echoed around her as 3 Yellow Operas floated about, ready to strike. One even had the gall to shoot it’s spell off onto Qamar. She took the hit and looked at it, a pure evil grin on her face as she zoomed between all 4 enemies. Striking the yellow operas once each, she grabbed the head of the defender and stabbed it’s back 4 times. It finally disappeared in a puff of dark smoke, leaving behind Qamar. She raised her hand and pointed a finger at herself and laughed. “I had fun, to say the least.”

As Boreas lead the people out of the building he lead them to where Thallasa and Adalric were treating the people that had been rescued from the building. As there were just the two of them trying to help those that were being rescued they were being overwhelmed by the number of people that were coming out of the building, he was confident that the others would still number enough to get everyone else out safely so Boreas instead of rushing after the other to get back inside or going to see what Torrin was going after he did his best to give Thallasa and Adalric a hand. As Aria shouted she was going to help Torrin, Boreas silently wished he wasn't too burdened down by duty to follow her example. And it wasn't like his purpose in giving Thallasa and Adalric a hand wasn't important. Gero had been rather reluctant to let Torrin and himself stay, this was simply a step along the road to proving them wrong, still when Aria, Qamar and Torrin returned from the roof he felt like he should have been there with them.

However as Torrin was thinking out loud, just before the Heartless appeared Boreas too could sense them coming. As Thallasa shouted she would get the civilians to safety. At the very least they seemed more focussed on those that wielded keyblades, which made their job significantly easier. But to find his most hated enemy here, Boreas could feel his heart rate increase at the mere sight of them and his rage build, he activated his armour and summoned his blade. Boreas transformed his keyblade into the repeating crossbow, it took him quite some time to get it done but he was commited to using it, even if it wasted precious time, Torrin had mentioned it would get easier with use, perhaps he would have to make a habit out of practicing out of combat. When he had it right he dropped to one knee took aim at a cluster of Blue Rhapsodies firing a bolt of
Fira at them, as the bolt sailed through the air Boreas was already back on his feet, switching his keyblade back to it's normal form which was significantly easier than the other way around.

As he surged forward he focussed down the spellcasters, ramming his blade brutally into one of the Yellow Operas, not even looking at what happened to it he used the hook of his blade to scoop up one of the icy cubes and in one smooth motion spun around and threw it at the next yellow opera the impact of it destroying both of the heartless. Moving on he switched to a reverse grip mid swing swinging his blade in a parabolic arc he slammed the next opera into the ground, bringing his boot down on the place it impacted. The last yellow opera tried to evade Boreas' next swing and it did but it didn't count on Boreas switching grip again and following up with a back swing. As he scanned for targets a duo of icy cubes had worked up the courage to attack him for their troubles they were swatted out of the way with a low defensive swipe, the force of which sent one of the two crashing into one of it's oblivious brethren obliterating them. Boreas figured the biggest threat still present was represented by the Blue Rhapsodies, their mobility and magic capacity could result in a magic raining down on them that if executed properly could hurt them badly if allowed to happen and he had seen it happen with his own two eyes. He'd try and put a stop to that before that would happen. Never again would he allow that to happen, as the Rhapsodies scattered Boreas hunted them down one by one savagely striking them down, slamming them into the ground, ramming them into one another and even throwing one at the next that was about to unleash it's magic. He stood defiant before his foes almost roaring a challenge at them, to come to him, to show him their fury, but he knew they could not rise up to his challenge.

With their numbers thinned the Heartless began to frenzy and wildly attacked the party. Those that would have attacked Glyde and Tinarah were drawn in by the light of Takehiko's shield and went after him instead, pelting him with ice shards. The remainder of the party was struck by the cold physical blows by the Icy Cubes as they spun and charged at the keyblade wielders or Blizzard spells from the Blue Rhapsodies.

Takehiko took 15 Damage! 6 AP was stored into Bad Karma. Burning Fast not triggered. (22/75HP)
Takehiko took the aggro off Tinarah! (45/50HP)

Adalric swatted aside a blizzard spell with his hand, leaving little more than a small bruise on it. The enemies were nearly dealt with, and so moderation had little value now. His keyblade still empowered with water, he ran forward into the comparatively small cluster of icy cubes and began dispatching them as quickly as he could.

Boreas shivered beneath his armour from the icy cold, the spells hurt but not too badly, he had been through a lot worse. Boreas however still wasn't done cutting down the rhapsodies and with their enemies numbers having dwindled there was nothing stopping Boreas from finishing what he started. He relentlessly chased down the Blue Rhapsodies that remained and struck them down with an aggression that really wasn't necessary for such weak enemies, but Boreas cared little as to what the others might think, he couldn't always fight back against the Heartless back home and whenever an opportunity to exact revenge on the Heartless he would not pass it up. The Blue Rhapsodies could do nothing but fall to the onslaught as Boreas cut them down without mercy, slamming them into one another and into the ground, knowing full well that his strikes were more than enough to take care of them this easily. One of the blue rhapsodies crashed hard into the ground in front of Torrins feet from Boreas' strike. Finishing the scattered remnants off would be a trivial matter now, especially with their numbers, easily matching the weaker heartless.

The counter attack from the heartless certainly was cold, but beyond that it was nothing when compared to some of the other hits he's taken from heartless. When their attacks had cease, Chrono leapt into action, quite literally, with another blitz attack that had him getting the drop on a small group of five icy cubes. They didn't last long after his keyblade had cleaved through them. The other heartless had gotten agitated and swarmed to attack Chrono. Their attacks took some time to prepared and it was during that in time which Chrono struck them down. One by one each heartless fell until there were none left standing.

Witnessing his Shot hit its mark, Glyde began to step back. He looked in quick, side-to-side glances down the alleys along the street. There wasn't much more he could do given the state he was in, and retreating and taking cover could, at the very least ensure that he didn't get in anyone else's way.

He set off, groggily, to his left towards a side street when the telling green aura encompassed his body. "Cured." He came to a halt, feeling somewhat stronger. With a touch and go, he turned and moved back towards the fighting...

Just in time to see Chrono dispatch the last of them.

"Figures," he huffed, slowing his pace to a light jog. "Thanks for the heal, whoever that was; not that I got to make much good on it... should we take it that the fire and those Heartless weren't unrelated?"

After the Heartless were cleared people started to come out of hiding. One man pointed towards the horizon. "Look! In the sky! It's Mr. Incredible!"

    "And Frozone!" A woman shouted.

Coming in at high speed were two costumed men, one creating an ice slide in the sky to skate on and the other, a blond large muscular man, holding onto his shoulder. The larger man, jumped down and onto the ground and ran towards the burning building. "Go Mr. Incredibe!" A small child exclaimed as the hero ripped a fire hydrant from the ground and used his bare hands to redirect the torrent of water that came pouring forth to douse the flames on the lower levels of the apartment complex. Above the one named Frozen began using his ice powers to extinguish the flames before the building took anymore damage.

Sirens could be heard closing in as police, firefighters, and a series of ambulances arrived at the scene to handle crowd control and check on the surrounding populace. When the flames had been put under control both Mr. Incredible and Frozen approached the group of keyblade wielders. The crowd went wild as people tried to close in on them screaming for autographs but were quickly stopped by the police.

"Good work with the building but as a tip from one superhero to another, you guys should be wearing masks." Mr. Incredible spoke with a slight hint of concern in his voice.

"Are those even costumes? You guys aren't part of some sort of new teenage supergroup because there isn't room here for amateurs." Frozone folded his arms.

"No need to be so harsh. The city could use a B Team considering all the new villains popping up." Mr. Incredible scratched his chin.

"As long as we don't have to work with them. My brand's already taken a hit because of your last suggestion." Frozone retorted in agitation.

Laughing could be heard echoing over the area. "Would you look at that? I knew the little brats wouldn't be so easy to kill! Hah! This is the most fun I've had in minutes!" The laughter continued. "Well say hello to a little thing called a Magitek Magic Inhibiting Field! Such a boooorrriing name but I assure you this will make your next encounters that much more PAINFUL! Hahaha! Let's see how tough you children are when those keyblades run out of juice!"

Torrin recognized the voice belonging to the clown from earlier and looked around. He saw nothing. "Show yourself!" Of course, his aggravated response was met with no answer. Torrin exhaled loudly and felt himself feeling weary. "Ugh...what the hell?" He pressed his hand to his forehead and blinked, shaking his head quickly to refocus. Something was wrong. He had thought that the clown's boast had been hollow but even as he stood there he could feel something off inside himself. The magic he had expended in battle had left him drained and he felt like he could no longer call on his strength to recover it. He had a sinking feeling that meditation would not fix it either. "How does that clown even know what a keyblade is? Was someone else here first?"

Knowing he wouldn't get the answer anytime soon he decided to focus on other things. "Hey," he looked over at Aria, "You okay? This...magic...whatever field isn't making you sick is it?"

Thallasa looked down at her hands, feeling not quite herself with the magic inhibiting field active. "We're going to have to find a way to shut this down as soon as possible. We need to find where the Magitek device is." She spoke up, looking at the others. Her eyes narrowed on seeing Torrin interacting with the Princess of Heart. Whatever his intentions were, she didn't trust him. For all she knew he was scoping out a potential asset to steal away and use against the Realm of Light. She was informed of Gero's experience in the other realm and when she had been called in to back the Council's decision she was against allowing those from the Dark Realm from participating in the mission. But she was just one against seven...

"You two," she spoke towards the costumed heroes, "is there anywhere where a couple of...uh...heroes like us could find some rest in peace and quiet?"

"You've got to be kidding me! They're homeless! Homeless heroes! You know what? I'm done here. Day saved. Buildings are in tact. Later, Incredible." Frozone took off, firing ice onto the floor as he skated off into the sky.

"Sorry about that." Mr. Incredible scratched the back of his head. "Well...she's not gonna like it...but I do know ooonnneeee person who might be okay with having a few heroes stay over. In fact, if you give her the chance, she'd be excited to get some new work with fresh faces like yourselves."

Qamar watched as two masked men came skating in and taking care of the fire. All the people that were hiding ran back out and tried to get autographs from the two guys as they approached the group. They ending up chastising them for not wearing masks which confused her. “Why would we wear a mask…?” she questioned. And then that one clown came back, laughing manically and using some kid of magitek device to...keep their magic and health from restoring.

Glancing at Torrin, Qamar chuckled upon seeing him suffering. “And here I thought you’d have more stamina than this.” she said, straightening her clothes and dusting herself off from the ice. It was cold, sure, but she kind of liked the cold. Cold made her feel refreshed and invigorated. “Torrin, he’s a bad guy, it’s kinda obvious they may probably know about keyblades after all.” she stated.

Thallasa had gone off to ask the heroes where they could stay. Qamar didn’t mind finding a place to take a rest, but she did look over at Aria after Torrin asked if she was doing okay. “Torrin, you shouldn’t dote on her so much. Aria looks capable enough to me.” She nodded, crossing her arms. “You...you are okay, though, aren’t you?” Qamar suddenly had concern on her face. Sure she was okay, but even after Torrin looked back, Qamar couldn’t tell how the others were feeling.

This was going a lot faster than previous fights, and that was a good thing. Aria nodded her thanks to Torrin when he healed her and saw that the remaining Heartless were the icy cube ones. Yaaaaay! She silently cheered to herself as she went after a small group.

But then Chrono went in and got rid of ALL of them. Aria stood there a moment, a little dumbfounded while holding her keyblade in her hands. "
... Ah man...." She unsummoned her keyblade, trying to not let her disappointment show. Her attention was soon turn to the heroes that showed up, and she thought they looked kinda cool. Frozone ended up not being so nice, but this Mr. Incredible was kind enough.

It was then she heard the sound of the creepy clown and looked around warily. She then noticed Torrin act kind of funny and raised an eyebrow at him when he asked how she was. She then heard Qamar's quip and shrugged her shoulders. "
I'm just fine," she answered Qamar's and Torrin's question. "You on the other hand don't look so good," Aria said with some concern to Torrin. "You okay?"

She then overheard a bit from the new master and two heroes, well, now one, about finding a place to stay for the night. "
W-wait, were not going to go look for this Magick... thingy-ma-gig first?" She pressed her lip in a thin line and turned to Master Thallasa, bowing quikcly. "I mean no disrepect... I know we're tired and all, but uh... Should we check this thing out before we crash for the night?" She didn't want to leave this thing unattended, not for long anyways. And since the clown never showed himself, it could mean that he was watching them carefully. And the last thing Aria wanted to do was get anyone hurt because they let this go unchecked.

    Age: Seven Years Old

The next few weeks were grim. Two out of the nine farms fell entirely, their stock completely ravaged by the attacks for the wrenfel as well as their crops being destroyed by the large monsters’ movements. Nobody slept well at night anymore, for they were constantly onguard when and how the beasts would strike. And since they were simple farm folks, they didn’t have the strength to go to the source of the problem and wipe them out. They asked the village for help, but they too were beginning to be visited by the wrenfel and other strange beasts. All their reinforcements were being used to protect the town’s folk and make sure everyone stayed safe. The farms were on their own.

It was a dreary, cool day on the Dorin farm. The skies were grey with rumbles of thunder here and there, threatening rain to come later in the day. Aria was dressed in a dark green woolen poncho, brown pants, boots, and a long sleeved, buttoned up cream shirt. Her poncho had a little hood on it, which she kept up and over her head as she rode her young brown Chocobo over the fields. She was taking lunch to her uncle, Gerrit, and a couple other new workers on the farm. Lanar has work available for those who lost their farms recently since raising and training Chocobos wasn’t his only specialty. He raised a few small crops to be able to feed the feathered creatures as well as food for the village and surrounding neighbors.

Aria held the reins tightly in her hands as she searched the fields for the men. The monsters seemed to only appear at night, so Anja felt it would be safe for Aria to venture out of the house for awhile and be out in the fresh air.

A blood curdling howl echoed through the wind.

Aria’s Chocobo made a funny sound and stopped in place, nervously stomping its feet. “
It’s okay Dubble,” Aria assured as she stroked the bird’s neck. The little girl looked around, not seeing anything out of the ordinary.

Another howl followed after it, this time it was louder.

Aria could feel her heart pounding in her chest as she did her best to keep Dubble calm. “
Wrenfel only come at night. Wrenfel only come at night…

It was then she heard a snarl, and then a yell of someone she knew. “
    Uncle Lanar…

Aria couldn’t let fear hold her back at this point. She snapped the reins, urging Dubble to a full run towards the noise. She didn’t know what she was doing, but she wanted to make sure everyone was safe and she would be there to help out if needed.

The yelling turned into screams of agony as the little girl got closer. She hopped off of Dubble in mid trot, running on the ground as fast as she could through the wheat fields. Her lungs burned as the cold air surged through body, which only pushed her on.

A flash of black fur jumped in front of her vision, and suddenly she was face to face with a gruesome scene. Her uncle was on the ground, his face contorted in pain. He was being pulled left and right by wrenfel with teeth sunk in his skin and clothes ripped to ribbons. Pools of crimson were already spilt on the ground, and specs appeared on the wolves faces. Some of their muzzles were soaked in it.

Aria balled her fists, knowing she had to do something! She shut her eyes and inhaled deeply. “LEAVE HIM ALONE!

A blinding, bright light suddenly shot out from the seven year old’s body, rippling towards the wrenfel. They had no time to act as the wave of light zoomed towards them, hitting them back and making them all disintegrate into vapors of curling darkness. All was left was a shaken Aria trying to catch her breath, and her uncle, lying on the ground in his own blood.

    Aria…”

She opened her eyes, seeing all the monsters were gone and her uncle was reaching out to her. “
Uncle Lanar!” Aria rushed over to him and knelt down by his side while he coughed and groaned in agony. He was in pretty bad shape as she grabbed for his hand and held it tightly in hers. His grip was weak, and his breath was ragged. “H-hold on, I’m going to get…” she trailed off as she looked down and gasped. One of his arms, and even a leg was not there anymore.

Aria didn’t even hear the rush of footsteps as the rest of the workers hurrying over. Someone picked up Aria and placed her away from her uncle while they moved in and did their best to stop the bleeding. She didn’t even see Gerrit hobbling over with his own wounds while being helped by someone else. Lanar’s good arm suddenly fell to the ground as he went unconscious, and someone shouted to shoot a flare.

A purple light blinded Aria for a moment, and she blinked as she looked up to see a flare going up in the sky. Purple meant that a farmer or one of their family members was seriously hurt. This was the first it had ever been used…

As it burst in the sky, rain droplets began to fall on her face. She didn’t bother to pull up her hood as she stared up into the bleakness before her as the rain came down harder. She knew they needed serious help, and she was not capable to do anything with what was before her. But she knew someone who could. “
Grandpa Gero…?” She called out softly.

She held held her hands together close to her chest as that talk about death she had three years ago flooded through her mind. Her turquoise eyes landed on her unconscious uncle on the ground being tended to quickly and efficiently as possible. “
Please wake up,” Aria whispered as tears rolled down her cheeks. “Please wake up…

There was a flash followed a second later by the crack of thunder, the sky continuing to rumble long after the light faded. No one had taken notice of the sudden appearance of an old man, his cloak dry until he stepped out from into the rain from the corridor of light that vanished as soon as it had appeared. His eyes darted over towards the redheaded boy but he chose not to act. The boy would live.

Out of the way.” Gero commanded as he moved closer, pushing some of the other workers out of the way. One of the men who had already begun bandaging Lanar stood up to complain but Gero narrowed his eyes at the man. “I can save him. Now all of you go and make sure there are none of those creatures around to attack again.” His voice held absolute authority, unlike the mild voice of a weary old man he normally put on. To no surprise, the others listened and took off.

It will be alright, Aria. Rest for now.” Gero took off his cloak and placed it around the small girl to keep her warm. There was nothing he could do to save the limbs that had been damaged beyond repair but there were ways beyond the organic… For now, he had to stop the bleeding and that would require more than just a few bandages. “Sleep.” He whispered and in the instant he uttered that word Aria began to feel drowsy.

In the daze of her newfound weariness she might have imagined Gero’s cane having turned into a giant key, green light pouring onto Lanar’s body. But perhaps such thoughts were that of a child’s imagination. Aria then drifted off to sleep.

Take left his form, having a couple of deep breaths as he did so, only to find himself realizing how weak he felt. He thought maybe he'd gain back magic by this point. Though once the clown mentioned it being a magic inhibiting device, he had a good feeling why. He looked to all the others, not sure of their state at this point. And while Thalassa was already trying to find a place for them to rest he felt like it was a bad time to. And Aria just basically took the words out of his mouth. He walked close to Aria and said "I agree with Aria. Even if we're tired, we don't know the danger this could cause left unchecked. I say we try and take care of it before that can happen. Or at least make leads into finding out where the device is."

Illiana stopped in her tracks as she saw that the heartless in the area had been cleared. She lowered her blade and turned to the others as two masked individuals arrived at the scene and stopped the fire. With one flip, she raised her blade and it begun reverting back to its umbrella form. She rested the closed umbrella on her right shoulder as the two masked men came up to the group. "As a tip from one hero to another, you guys should be wearing masks." The masked man named Mr.Incredible had asked the group with concern filling his tone. She raised an eyebrow and before she could speak the other masked man named Frozone spoke. "Are those even costumes?" Illiana raised her eyebrow again before muttering to herself. "Better than wearing a leotard or spandex." As the two went back and forth, she rolled her eyes and it wasn't before long before a voice rang out. Before she could move, she felt herself growing weaker. She placed a hand on head to help her stay standing. "The hell?! What's going on?!" She brought her umbrella down but as it made its way down to help her stand, it reverted back to its original state. "Well that's not good." She looked over to Thallasa as she spoke to the group. Thallasa had then asked Mr. Incredible and Frozone if there was anywhere the group could stay for the night. As Mr. Incredible answered her, Illiana looked over to Aria and Take as they were insistent on finding the Magitek and destroying it before getting rest. She turned to the two and a slight scowl appeared on her face. "Absolutely not. Say we do find the magitek....What then? We'll be too weak to actually do any damage to it. Unless you two have already written out your will and have already made your death wish, there's no way in hell that's gonna happen. Everyone needs rest. Especially after this whole ordeal. Understand?" Illiana dropped down to one knee as if to catch her breath. She placed a hand to her head as she started to get a headache. "I'm especially not going to do that while this headache is around. Getting rest is the best thing for all of us right now." She stood back up using her blade to help her up.

Thanks to Torrin Tinarah managed to keep herself going a little longer. Some of her wounds starting to heal over, though before she could really get herself functioning again everyone else jumped in and finished the heartless off. While Tinarah would have liked to be of more help, she didn't turn down the moment extra of rest before two new faces came flying in, questioning them. Tinarah looked down at her own outfit, it didn't remotely look like a costume. She was wearing jeans and a formerly white shirt. Was anyone going to tell them that they weren't even heroes? Apparently not, not that they were given time as she heard a laugh and then a voice.

An empty feeling passed over Tinarah. She had already drained her magic, but the void there was greater than that. Some sort of magic blocking field or something? This wasn't good, not at all, and the team was going all different ways with what they wanted to do. Thallasa was asking about places to stay, which it seemed Torrin and Aria disagreed with, but Illiana was trying to lecture them on why rest would be a good thing. Looking back at the burnt building Tinarah looked over at Illiana. She had barely spoken to the girl, and wasn't one for confrontations, but Tinarah felt it was important.
"We might be signing others, if we don't deal with this soon. We don't have our magic, meaning we can't heal people or put out fires effectively. If we don't go after it then he could go around hurting so many more people while we try to rest, and we can run to their aid every time, but we won't be as effective." Being one to rely on her magic more than her physical strength, Tinarah thought it was important to make sure that they had it avalible to them before they settled down, even if her body was already starting to tire out, not able to maintain her normal stamina.

Chrono handled the last few icy cubes clearing the remaining enemies, Boreas gave him a nod of appreciation for the teamwork. As they regrouped a pair of rather oddly dressed individuals showed up and battled the fire raging in the tower. When the two had the fires under control they greeted them, the mask comment made Boreas smile a little bit, he could have hidden his face within his helmet should he have wanted to. As for the costumes remark he cared very little, his armour did what it needed to do in protecting him. It was then that there was laughter to be heard, Boreas smiled at the challenge apparantly this person thought they could only fight with their keyblades in hand, he'd be sorely mistaken in Boreas' case while his keyblade marked him out as a special soldier he still wielded normal weaponry in battle, having a personal preference for glaives.

Torrin seemed to be rather concerned with Aria's well-being, he felt it too the use of his magic made him feel weary that in of itself wasn't unusual, but Illiana seemed negatively affected, Torrin seemed to feel strange and if this voice was right the weariness wouldn't go away. Boreas however wasn't too bothered by this, but he could understand why the others were. Take and Aria mentioned they wanted to find this machine first and since it was a threat to their fighting capacity he agreed with them. "
I agree, we ought to try and find this machine first." Boreas stated, then shooting a look at Illiana, who seemed to completely disagree and even asked whether they had their wills written out, as a matter of fact he had, but that wasn't the point. Sure they had returned from his short run that wasn't so short only to be thrown into an emergency afterwards followed by a fight and while Boreas did definitely feel it, he knew he could push himself forward farther beyond this point.

    "
With all due respect, resting up may not be the best idea, we do not know the extent to which this machine affects us, it might get worse in time, not to mention the point Tinarah raised. Perhaps we should split up then, those who need rest rest. Those that are in good enough shape to find this machine find clues, see if we can figure something out. That decision is one for master Thallasa to make." Boreas said turning to the master as he mentioned her name, the master had remained quiet so far, but as far as he was concerned she was the one in command and while he didn't owe his full allegiance or loyalty to her, he kept in his mind to try and help paint a better picture of himself and Torrin, they were here voluntarily to help combat a threat that concerned them as much as it did the Realm of Light, but Gero hadn't seemed to be a big fan of them.

"What the?" Glyde looked up and around as two odd characters approached the scene, extinguishing the roaring blaze of the burning building. The denizens of the city all seemed taken with the the strongman and the ice-mage... if that's what they could even be called. When all was done with the building the pair approached them, wading through a sea of adoration that Glyde remained thankful that he wasn't caught in the middle of. He reeled back at the larger man's comments. "Heroes? Let's not just go throwing that word around without reason." Goodness knows I'm not one.

"Aah!" A sharp sensation lashed through him; the sound of wild, cackling laughter filled their air from... seemingly nowhere. All of his strength, it felt was being sapped... no, restrained; the magical essences that would typically be recharging... he was far off from an expert in these sorts of things, but he could feel it. "Guess that answers my question," he quipped when the initial pains subsided. "Explosions. Fires. Guys jumping from rooftops. Heartless showing up. Yeah; it's all related." He convened with the rest of the Keybearers, shaking his head at the insistence of Take and Aria to pursue whatever was stifling their abilities. "I'm in agreement with the naysayers on this one," he said. "No sense in putting ourselves in that kind of risk. If we get ourselves killed for recklessness, then that's, well, everything we've been working for going down with us. Not that that my opinion will mean much against everyone else's."

"Pineapple? Did someone say pineapple?" The youngest member of the Chasers stepped forward and walked over, taking one of the glasses on the table. Pagos sniffed the drink to make sure there wasn't anything in it that he wasn't supposed to be drinking before downing the entire thing in a single gulp.

    "Hey! That was mine!"

"Oh shut up Dentro, let him have it. Hey Zeno you don't mind if I take yours right?" Avra walked in and slumped down into a chair beside Koa.

"Of course. I was hardly thirsty anyway."

"Cheers." She rose her glass up to toast with Koa, the two glasses clinking lightly together before they both drank from their glasses.

"So I was thinking..." Pagos looked at the others. "What are we going to do when we finish the mission? Do we just go our own separate ways or...?"

Dentro shrugged while Koa looked down at his glass and swirled the remainder of its contents around absentmindedly. "I don't really know. The only thing that's been on my mind has been what to tell my sister if I face her before this is all over. Illiana's on the other side of this you know."

"You're not the only one with family on the other side. You guys think I'm pushy? You haven't met my sisters." Avra sighed and shook her head slowly. "They won't understand until it's all over so don't think too hard about what they'll say, alright? Got it? Good."

Torrin glared at Qamar for her comment towards him but said nothing to her. His patience had suddenly worn thin. His head was foggy and his limbs felt heavy but he knew now was not the time for him to rest. "Glad you're okay then. I...I've been better." He lowered his voice, admitting to Aria. "I can still fight though. That's the only thing that matters." He added with some hesitation. It was true enough. All he had to do was keep telling himself that and it would be fine for time being. Sure, it had been magic keeping him awake for the past...who knows how long, but the second that device got destroyed he was sure it would set him back to normal.

Thallasa had already made her mind by the time everyone else had begun debating what to do. "Master Torrin, Boreas, Takehiko, you three will scout for any information regarding the Magitek device. If you find it, you are to contact me immediately. You have until one hour after nightfall to return regardless if you are successful or not. We must conserve what strength we have." She looked over at Aria and Tinarah who both seemed ready to go. "Aria, there will be a time and place for you to fight but for now you must stay with the group with greater numbers. Tinarah, I am certain your brother would go with you on the mission if you went and we cannot have our numbers so divided if we are caught off guard. Besides, a smaller recon group well attract less attention." She spoke calmly but firmly.

Aria felt a swell of pride when Take stepped in beside her and agreed with her on the manner. Illiana didn't seem to think it was a good idea, which made Aria frown a moment... Until Tinarah and Boreas spoke up and agreed with her and Take. Glyde seemed to side with Illiana, but then the verdict came down to Master Thallasa.

Aria, of course, didn't like it. She was told to stay back and let others handle it on their own without her help. But instead of arguing, Aria hung her head low and eventually nodded her head. "
Alright... I'll stay back this time," she mumbled. She couldn't go off and fight at will like the others; she had to remember she was a princess of heart at the end of the day, and she had to take certain cautions. No one was in immediate danger like Torrin was earlier, so there was no need for her to rush in and fight as she did previously. It made sense, and it was logical, but she still didn't agree to it fully.

She then looked at Torrin, who spoke quietly to her about his condition. She was a little concerned for him, and the others for that manner since it seemed like some things were suppressed that came with the ability of wielding a keyblade because of this machine that was somewhere out of sight. She silently gave him a small smile and nudged him in the shoulder with her own. "
Be careful," she stated back to him. "I'll try to have some hot chocolate waiting for you and the others when you get back... If I can make it where we're going anyways."

She then looked to Take and smiled, patting him on the shoulder. "
I really wish I could go with you guys... but it is what it is... You be careful too, okay?" They really didn't get a chance to talk much after the cannon incident, but she considered Take as her friend too. She didn't want ANY of them to get seriously hurt and her having to sit back and let them fight. This was going to be tough for her hanging out with the others, but she knew that it had to be.

The voice echoing around them had put Chrono on edge as no matter where he looked, he was unable to find the source of the voice. Not to mentioned the sudden feeling of weakness that had overcame him. It didn't look like he was he was the only one feeling like as everyone else seemed to be experiencing the same thing. Chrono was glad that Master Thallasa had basically said a better version of what he was going to suggest to appease the mass amount of people that wanted handle the Magic Inhibiting Field right away. "Good luck you guys." He said more so to Take then anyone else.
