As if on cue, after Lumen spoke, the room grew dark and they were met with their opponent. Qamar placed her hands on her hips and sized up her enemy. "Shouldn't take me too long to bust it's head open. I'm confident in my ability to uh, not die." She chuckled, looking at Lumen. She saw a glint of fear on his face but she gave him a firm pat on the arm. "Watch me." She instructed, summoning her keyblade in a gleam of darkness. Seeing as the room was darker, her eyes gave off a faint glow, allowing her to see the enemy more clearly. That didn't mean she could predict anything, however. Raising her keyblade up, she focuses and cast Sabera on herself and ran towards the tower. Once close enough, she gave it a few good slashes before jumping back a little to try and get some distance.

Torrin didn't entirely seem to catch his drift when he asked but when their connection was made he seemed to understand. The battle wasn't going too well as Illiana was struck down hard. He himself was hit by the arm of the Darkside too but not nearly as hard as Illiana had been. He focused on his magic and reached out with healing magic, not that he was rather skilled with it but he had been taught the basics of the healing arts. After he was done he slammed the shaft of his glaive into the ground, a spectral banner waving from it's shaft. Those that looked to it would see something that inspired them. "Stand fast! We have faced stronger foes than this, think of the Horned King, that we ground down. Think of why we fight. For the people back home we care about and our families! Let's show this Darkside what we are worth that we will not be beaten so easily!" Boreas bellowed.

Boreas cast Cure on Illiana and used Inspiring Presence.

At first sight he was terrified from the ever expanding darkness, but was able to cope for a bit. Qamar saw how frightened he was and showed him how it was done. Seeing her Keyblade appear from darkness, Lumen thought about it for a second. Then he saw the eyes glow, he never realized it before until now. He had a little smirk on his face at the thought. Realizing that Qamar attacked already, it was his turn. “Ok... Focus, think...” The boy said as he was looking around, in which he couldn’t see a thing, so he tried something different. Putting his hand on the ground Lumen closed his eyes and started to get a picture of his opponent. Then opening his eyes he summoned his weapon swiftly into his hand as he held it backhanded. Sidestepping as quick as he could, Lumen jumped up, midair dashed over to the Demon Tower, and started to slash it over and over again. Once he did enough, the boy flipped backward and raised his Keyblade up to bring down a bolt of lightning onto the tower. Landing uneasy he then got back up into stance and stood next to Qamar and spoke, “How’s that? I’ve had some decent training overall.”

With the little shadows taking advantage fo their moment of unbalance cause of the Darkside's attack, Chrono turned to the significantly larger heartless and went forth to attack with Ars Arcanum and smacked away some of the shadows around them.

Dark streams began to rise from the Darkside as it was clearly on its last legs. It was too weak to even repeat its desperate attack it had hit her with earlier and launched off what was probably its last volley of dark orbs at the girl, striking her once more.

"It's too bad this guy's just a small fry." Torrin smirked as he looked up at the Darkside looming over them. "It'll take a lot more than something like this for me to take this seriously." Torrin chuckled as he spun the blade in his hand. His keyblade transformed into a bow for an instant as he fired off a bolt of magical energy before turning the blade into its halberd form as he leapt into the sky and dove down to strike the Heartless the instant after the bolt of energy hit the Darkside. Torrin vanished in a black blur and reappeared in front of the Darkside's head to strike it yet again, rolling to the side as he landed to get some distance away from it. "Gotta give it credit though. This thing can really take a beating, huh? Like an oversized punching bag."

Torrin Attacked and used Dodge Roll, Sky Dive, and Warp Strike.

Both Boreas and Illiana managed to evade the Darkside's attacks at it tried to hit them with its fists. In its frantic attacks Torrin found himself the victim of one such attack and was struck instead of Illiana though he seemed to recover quickly in response, looking slightly annoyed.

Enzo managed to keep out of the Darkside's reach but doing so caused a Shadow to claw at him from behind. Aria, Chrono, and Kal were struck by the Darkside as it scooped up a bunch of Shadows by its feet and tossed them all at the trio. Most bounced harmlessly off Aria's Reflect barrier but one Shadow managed to break through and strike her in the shoulder while Chrono and Kal were smacked in their gut by high speed Shadows.
10 additional Shadows were destroyed by the attack!

Tinarah tried to cover herself from the blasts, but the pain still seeped through. Tinarah knew that she could handle it, but not for too much longer at this pace. She knew her magic was starting to get low and there was no Take here to restore it, but she still had to try and get through this battle. It wasn't over yet, there was still another round to go and Tinarah couldn't say that she was fully prepared to it. In order to deal with it, Tinarah cast a quick cure spell on herself before turning and casting a blast of fire at the darkside, slashing it with her keyblade for good measure afterwards, just to make sure it was well good and dead.

Chrono felt the air be knocked outta him from that one shadow, but remained standing. Though he did cough a few times as air refilled his lungs. "I'm good." Saying that in between coughs probably didn't help prove his case at all, but it would do for now. Soon as he felt as he had enough air back in his system, Chrono went forth lept into the air and struck at the darkside with a shockwave that formed upon landing and swatted away some shadows that had gathered around him.

Aria winced and faltered back when the Shadow attacked her shoulder. She staggered back to her feet shaking it off the best she could before she glanced around the group. "Come on Kal!" she called out to her teammate, "You can do it!" She cast Leafga on herself and on Kal, then she attacked the colossal heartless once more.

Qamar glanced to Lumen, curious. She thought she saw a smirk on his face before he attacked the Demon Tower. Shrugging to herself, she watched him bring the smackdown and had a smile upon her face. He seemed to be okay so far. She was glad he was adjusting well enough after all. He finished with a lightning spell and was now standing next to her again. The tower got a good hit in on both of them, but Qamar had felt worse. She smirked and looked to Lumen. "That was good. Now watch this." she said, taking a few steps back. With immense speed, as if she was a sonic boom, she lunged at the tower, dealing several hits. Spinning around, she jumped at the Demon Tower and sliced quikly at it, sinking her keyblade into it with the last hit and jumping off of the hilt to stand beside Lumen once more. She shook herself and recalled her keyblade, standing pretty casually. "How's that?" she asked.

The Darkside counter-attacked once more, luckily Boreas managed to get clear of the fists of the Darkside as they came for him. He glanced to Iliana she too managed to get clear this time. Torrin however wasn't so fortunate, perhaps the simulation holding it against him that he wouldn't take it seriously. "It can take a beating but that won't matter in the end." Boreas said as he went in for the attack, stabbing and slashing at the Darkside while remaining wary of it's fists. Boreas then disengaged and in one fluid motion thre the glaive-guisarme at the Darkside as if he were hurling a javelin, the blade impacted hard into he Darkside's body before returning to his hand. This was only the first round and they were one man short of the recommendation, although Torrin certainly made up for that, Illiana didn't seem to be pulling her weight in this fight and that was something that irked him, he expected everyone to do their part in combat.

Feeling the dakness intensify around them, he did a little twirl with his keyblade as he fired several lightning bolts down on the opposition. He rained down the electric fury as he bellowed against the tiny heartless. "Back! Back, you savages!" he hastily declared, listening to their silent cries as they dispersed from the field.

Lumen was smiling as well when he returned to the girls side, only for her to back up and sprint to the enemy again. Once Qamar landed by the boy again, he was impressed by her actions and it was almost similar to what he did minus the lightning. So it was his turn to go for a test run, it was almost like they were showing off each one another. Might as well let it play out. “Cool, time for me to go then.” Lumen said, ready to attack the tower of shadowy darkness. Feeling he had an idea in mind, but wasn’t ready yet. So the boy ran up to the enemy and hacked and slashed once more but to a more lesser degree, and once he was done Lumen rolled back to Qamar’s side whilst firing a faint glow, stopping the time on the Heartless. Then he got into a defensive stance, putting his arms and Keyblade in a protective position, and waited for the tower to strike.

Dark trails continued to rise from the Darkside and just as it was disappearing a stream of Shadows flew forth from its body as it vanished, the Demon Tower that they formed spiraled in towards Tinarah and engulfed her. The girl was clawed at from all directions before the Demon Tide spat the girl out and circled around the arena.

Torrin followed up with a single powerful strike with his keyblade and from his and Boreas's combined attacks the Darkside melted away leaving the area empty. "That's one down." Torrin commented, resting his keyblade on his shoulder. The room's appearance began to change, shifting into a dimly lit rocky underground cavern. In front of the trio a large black mechanized creature corrupted by darkness appeared before them. Torrin raised an eyebrow and pointed at it.

"Hey I remember you. Back at Atlantis. Feels like a lot has happened since then." Torrin commented before readying his blade in a battle stance.

Torrin Attacked the Darkside.

The Demon Tower collapsed onto the floor, flooding the ground with Shadows as expanded like spilled liquid and almost instantly gathered itself back together to "punch" Chrys with a mass of Shadow Heartless collected at the Tower's peak.

The Darkside stepped forward to reach for Kal, gripping the boy before using him as a projectile to throw against Chrono. Repeating the tactic, the Darkside scooped up several Shadows and launched the handful it grasped at Aria and Enzo, destroying nine of its own allies in the process.

The Demon Tower once more sped at the two keyblade wielders, snaking around and feinting to get behind them before scooping up both Qamar and Lumen. Shadows scratched at the two until the Demon Tower launched the two out of itself.

She had done it, she had really done it. Tinarah smiled to herself in quiet celebration, but it was cut short as a horde of heartless sprung forth from the ground, knocking her back. Right this wasn't over yet, she still had to be careful with what she was doing, there was another fight yet to come. Recovering to her feet, Tinarah prepared for another battle, boosting herself with another healing spell before she shot an ice blast at the demon tower. She then charged forward, her blade in hand. She knew that it might not do much, but it was still better than nothing.

Tinarah used Curaga, Blizzaga and then attacked.

Watching Lumen, she was about to ask something before the Demon Tower grabbed the both of them. "Lumen!" She called, worried he was hurt, but it looked like he wasn't hurt at all. Instead, she ended up getting flung into something and sliding down it. Her eyes closed as the pain shocked her body, but it soon subsided and she felt fine. She wasn't healed, but the simulation seemed to have dulled the pain rather quickly. Focusing, she rushed at the tower, slicing it quickly with a normal attack. Hopping back, she raised her hand and called a Reflega forward to protect herself.

Qamar ATTACKED and cast REFLEGA on herself.
