"You were hidden in plain sight. If you had been told that you were one of the Seven the chance that you would have been discovered far sooner than you were would have increased dramatically." Gero answered. "I knew it was only a matter of time before you were found out and I simply wanted to delay it as much as possible. A direct conflict with the Light Chaser is inevitable, that much is certain. What is not is who will be left standing when the fighting is over. For all the power I have gained in my years, I fear that even with the combined might of the Council at my side we will lose this battle." The old man smiled despite the grim delivery of his prediction. "However that does not mean there is not hope. I may be old and I may have to make peace with the fact that I will not see this through to the end, but I am surrounded by youths determined to protect that which is most dearly beloved by them."

"Believe it or not, Takehiko, you are stronger now than you have ever been. Just because you have much to learn does not change that fact."

Qamar giggled when Kidemonas got flustered. She was only teasing, but the way he was putting it, she couldn't help but mess with him. "No, no, you're not. You're far too naive." she teased yet again. He urged her to leave and threatened to turn her keyblade into a mop. "Last time you did that, I got Master Thyella to change it back." she waved. "And thanks for not getting mad when I dropped the title." she bowed, leaving the room. She ended up finding Kal, Lumen, Torrin, and Chrys. She crossed her arms and watched Torrin summon his keyblade while Lumen stood between the two. Qamar raised an eyebrow, glancing between the trio.

"I commend you for trying to jump between Chrys and Master Torrin.." she smirked at Torrin. "Sorry, I had to. Anyway, I commend you for this, but I don't suggest you continue new guy." she said, casually walking up and standing beside the group. "Torrin, Chrys is protected by the Council. Don't try anything stupid." she shrugged. "Even I'm acting civil and you know why I hate the Light Chaser and his students."

Sure enough, Torrin was there and itching for a fight the minute he saw her face. It wasn't really surprising and if it had been almost anyone else in the castle, she probably wouldn't even consider it wrong. After all, she had been the enemy. Torrin though...

She was about to deliver the best biting retort she could manage when Lumen stepped in between them. He delivered a brief but moving speech about how it was never too late for people to change, and how he was going to protect her from Torrin. It seemed he had already grown attached to her, for... no reason in particular?

Chrys felt sorry for the kid.

Sure, Torrin was kinda tough, but it was more about the fact the she had such a similar frame of thinking not two days ago. She had always wanted to believe in the good in others and... that naivete had been abused all too often. She wanted to speak up, say that he should be more careful about who he trusts and that she could defend herself, but Qamar chose that moment to pop in.

Of course she did. Now, when she had already resigned to having to likely be forced to defend herself, instead of earlier before she had her panic attack. Why did it seem the multiverse seem to go out of it's way to deny her any real sort of progress. Being a master was brought up momentarily, and she briefly remembered that she had attained that title. Then she remembered who she got it from, and decided it probably meant nothing. She sighed and shrugged it off, deciding to ultimately ignore all of the drama that she was, unfortunately, the center of. Instead, she turned to the boy who had spoken to her with a surprising air of casualty. She knew she had seen him before, and that he therefore must know of her sordid past. Yet if he wasn't going to be hostile, she was hardly going to complain.

"Could you direct me to it, please? And perhaps some coffee too? I had a long involuntary nap, and I could use a bit of a wake up call."

Illiana seemed to grow more upset as they spoke, clearly she understood his position well enough and had thought about the issue at length. She wasn't going to give him the full story, and that was fair enough but to then assert he wouldn't understand anyway was pointless if she wasn't even going to try. "
I can understand that pain of failing to protect your sibling..." Boreas elaborated. "My own younger brother is not with us anymore. I sometimes wonder if he was scared walking into that battle, if he felt it would be the last time he would do so." Illiana grew more and more upset, he could understand her point a bit better now. He had never felt it as his duty to set his brother straight even after his father didn't return from the war. She had wanted to keep him safe, away from the war. He didn't say anything at her emotional outburst. She had gone off to war to keep him away from the frontlines, that was a big sacrifice. They had no such luxury of choice to make sure the family was safe back home, they all served. "Clearly it is important to you and while you're asking I won't simply forget what we're talking about. I am willing to let you try it again, maybe point out the planned deaths of thousands. Or knock him out and carry him off like he tried doing to you." Boreas said before Illiana ran away, the kid still needed to be punished for working for the Light Chaser but perhaps there were more humane punishments than death. If that plan didn't work though, perhaps death would be a merciful alternative. At least they had made the people responsible for their conscription pay. He was curious to learn more about it, but with how Illiana acted he doubted that it was going to happen. With Illiana having run off Boreas turned back to the Castle and headed back inside, not on the warpath anymore.

Take was a little confused about the "hiding in plain sight" comment, but after he further elaborated, it made sense. He might have reacted in manners that just painted a red target on his back. There may have been more to it, but he didn't see the need to clarify that. After a minute or so there was one part to what Gero said he was focused on and said, "You sound really certain you're not going to make it through this..." he looked back toward Gero and just went straight to the question, "How do you know you're going to die?"

"The Light Chaser is intent on putting an end to the old Council. Of the seven Council members who trained him only Stamatis and I still stand." Gero gazed down at the graves. "Perhaps it would be a fitting penance." The old man spoke quietly before returning his sights on the boy. "If things had played out differently I would have never have given you that blade. Perhaps it is better that I did. At least, that is what I wish to believe."

Take just seemed to stare off for a minute in thought before he finally replied,
"A month ago I may have have said that I wish you hadn't given me the keyblade. But I feel like it has done more good for me than bad. So, you can take comfort it that..." he walked a bit closer towards Gero and said, "I know we didn't really get much time to know each other but either way I do appreciate what you've done." he had noticed him look at the graves so he looked in their direction and said, "My... father told me once that if we took the responsibility of the deaths of everyone we felt we somehow had a hand in, babies would be punished for playing with stones... I hope I don't have to elaborate on that one..." Take's face seemed to flash with some sort of remembrance as shifted through the front pocket of his bag and pulled something out and held out towards Gero a small stone similar to the one Take carried. But the carving inside was painted more of a blue color. He kept it held out towards him as he said, "I made this for you... I mean, not recently. I made this stone five years ago and was going to give it to you when I saw you again. But after last time got pretty emotional I just forgot to give it to you."

Gero turned the trinket over in his hand. "Thank you. Perhaps if I had not been gone for so long there would have been much I could have taught you. Still....it does seem that you have done well for yourself, Takehiko." The old man nodded and clasped the stone in his hand before placing it into his pocket. "I am glad you are becoming fond of that blade. One day you shall make a fine master."

Take kind of motioned his hand in a matter that deflected the compliment, but he soon stopped and asked,
"I... just have one more thing I wanna ask. I hope its not too intrusive but... do you still care about them?" he paused a moment and clarified, "The Light Chaser I mean... A? I don't remember hearing his name but that's no big deal. I know what he did to you but you also did teach him... so I was curious. I can't really imagine how it feels if you do."

"It is curious that he has been leaving those journal fragments behind. He was always so careful to keep it close by..." Gero turned to begin walking away before stopping and glancing over at Take. "At one point he represented the best in us. Fost, Stamatis, myself... For a teacher to see their student surpass them is a source of immense pride. In spite of everything...yes. I still do." The man spoke softly. "You should return indoors. It will not be long now until a meeting is called." And with those words Gero walked away.

Take watched Gero walk away for a moment before he turned back towards the graves. At that point Nini was waking up and yawning and making her way sleepily towards Take. Then she flopped onto his foot and look up at him like she wanted to be picked up. So the boy obliged and gave one last look over at the markers before he too began heading towards the castle.

Torrin considered knocking Lumen aside to get to Chrys, finding it more than a little strange that the boy would defend a total stranger when she was claimed to be the enemy. Then again, Torrin himself might as well have been a stranger to Lumen. Qamar had stepped in and, rather than join in on threatening Chrysanthemum, she said that the Council had extended their protection to the Chaser. Torrin lowered his keyblade slightly but kept the point trained on the girl. "What? That's nuts! She's not our ally!" Torrin's eyes narrowed but he made no motion to attack the girl just yet. If it came down to it, he knew he could get through to the girl but if what Qamar said was true, that would be a fast way to make an enemy of the Council and he was not prepared for that kind of fight, even with Boreas at his side. "Hm." Torrin took a deep breath and called off his keyblade seeing as how even Chrysanthemum had still not drawn her blade. There used to be a time when he would have cared about attacked an unarmed enemy but after the sheer number of worlds he had seen fall...

"Fine. I'll hold back for now. But one wrong move and there won't be anyone on this party that would be able to stop me from putting you down."

"Aaaaaaand Torrin's already threatening the new girl. Great. Why don't we all just take a chill pill, Chryssy you can get yourself some munchies to go, and let's all head over to the meeting room." Selene motioned for the group to follow after her.

"A meeting already? Hopefully that'll explain this." Torrin looked at Chrysanthemum.

    "Mhm! Get moving!"

Selene led the group to the meeting room, a large circular white room with seats located a large round table. The room's seating arrangement differed from the last time. In fact, the seating typically varied depending on the Council's need and given the sheer number of people, this arrangement was most appropriate.

After Selene had led that group to the room she left to retrieve everyone else in the castle until eventually the room was populated with everyone, student, master, and Council member alike.

Masters Stamatis, Varos, Thallasa, Choma, and Atmos were the only masters missing from the meeting. Once everyone was settled in Gero began to speak. "As some of you might have noticed, there are several of us missing currently. The five masters not currently present are on a mission to recruit a powerful ally. The Warrior of Light, a powerful swordsman of legend who may give us an edge over the Light Chaser. The Warrior, Gilgamesh, is just one of several options we are currently exploring for defeating the Light Chaser."

"In other good news, Master Fost over here has joined our cause and has lent his blade." Aster spoke up. "The bad news is that the last masters we had any contact with have vanished. Two of their students, Kalik and Lumen, survived their worlds' destruction but I fear that is the last backup we will be receiving."

"Other than Chrysanthemum here." Fost added. "From a very thorough investigation into this former Chaser, I've found that her old master turned against her. And all those students of his have been promoted to the rank of Master. I'm not sure if all of them quite deserve that rank but I suppose we can allow Chrys here to retain her rank. She'll be useful to the cause either way."

"Back to what I was saying..." Aster continued. "Masters Gero and the currently-away-Stamatis are the oldest acting Council members. Before the rest of us joined the Council there were five others who served on it before suddenly retiring. Masters Sanda, Dasos, Varka, Kryo, and Imera."

"Wait...did you just say Imera? He was the master I trained under in this realm. He never told me he used to be on the Council. He never even mentioned it to me." Torrin spoke in confusion.

"Yes." Gero answered. "Unfortunately, every member of the old Council outside of Stamatis and myself have met their end. Likely this is due to the Light Chaser seeking revenge against us." The old man looked over at Fost. "Though Master Fost is not a Council member, he too has a history with the Light Chaser which makes the three of us his next targets." He stroked his beard and paused for a moment before speaking again. "Despite this, we know that this is not his end goal. He wishes to rid the realms and people's hearts of all darkness by using the combined power of the Seven. The damage that would be done...the number of people who would die from such an act is unfathomable."

"That being said..." Kidemonas raised his voice. "The most concrete plan we have for now is making sure everyone here is ready for when the battle against the Light Chaser truly begins. He knows where every Pure Heart is. He'll have to come here to achieve his goal. When he does, everyone needs to be ready and right now...the vast majority of you aren't. Your training needs to increase. The number of masters here needs to increase. To that end, I've been spending all my time in the basement working on a project to accelerate everyone's growth. I call it, the Mirage Arena. A series of rooms capable of creating simulations based on battle data I've collected from everyone's stories and sensor readings from your communicators. These training rooms will recreate battles you have seen before. Of course, there's no risk of you dying should you lose a fight but you'll still feel the pain of getting hit just to keep you on your toes."

"It can even be used to relax if you don't set up a match and just want to visit a simulated location you've been to!" Selene excitedly called out.

"Uh...yeah...but why though? They're for training. Not relaxing." Kide muttered.

"Anyway, kids." Master Thyella interrupted, brushing a strand of reddish brown hair from her face. "You guys aren't strong enough. If we let you all out there while you're still this weak and the Light Chaser is looking for a fight, you'd find yourselves dead real fast. In the meantime, Aster over there will be searching for materials to make armors for those of you who don't have any. ...Though it seems like the only one of you who actually has one is Boreas over there."

"On that note, count me out. I'd rather my armor be made by my own blacksmith. So you have one less person to worry about." Torrin responded.

"Are you saying I don't know how to build a set of armor? You know what? Never mind. Royal types are always picky..." Kidemonas sounded hurt but said nothing more on the subject.

"Hm..." Gero stroked his beard and leaned back in his chair. "There are other topics to discuss but we have spoken enough for now. In the interest of openness, do any of you have anything to say before moving on to the next subject?" The master asked.

Arriving in the council room, Tinarah was sweating and tired from her workout. The drain of her magic was a part of it all, it took a lot out of her and she was pushing herself hard, she hadn't expected Selene to show up to call her to the council room. She wanted to ask the master for another change of clothes, but right now they had more pressing matters. Finding a spot near the back, Tinarah remembered the last time she was in here, and shifted uncomfortably. Scanning the masters that were gathered, there was several missing, some being the ones she was most comfortable around. Soon enough Gero started to explain where they were, and Tinarah could only think about the fact that she left her stuff in Stamatis' room, and she felt a little weird fetching it when he was not there. She didn't know what to do about that.

The announcements continued, some talk about additional training and deaths of masters. Tinarah's eyes flickered towards Fost, the only one sitting before them that she really cared about. Tinarah could feel her heart sinking though, not thinking about him, he was fine and strong, but Choma and Stamatis. They were away from the rest of the council and Tinarah knew that is when A had jumped last time. What if he did so then? Would they all come back? Why would they send Stamatis away when he was just barely healed and was being sought after by the Light Chaser? None of this made sense to her.

"So since you sent away the Masters of those of us who are fortunate enough to still have them, except Qamar, do you have a plan of who is in charge of our training, or do we keep fighting random illusions with no real instruction?" Tinarah was a little annoyed that she asked two masters for training, and they were gone the moment that training was supposed to start. She didn't want to train with any of the other masters, unless Fost was willing to train her, which he wasn't even willing to do so in the other realm so she doubted it would happen here.

Torrin getting up in arms to attack Chrys wasn't much of a surprise, in fact, he had the most reason to do so out of the people currently still in the kitchen. However, Lumen's act of bravery was surprising. Granted had it not been for Qamar's interruption, it is entirely likely that Torrin would've gone through Lumen to get to her. Master Selene had been the next to arrive to usher them all to a meeting. It did enough to ease the tension of the current situation and Chrono followed behind her.

Once more they found themselves in the room with most of the masters that weren't looking for this 'warrior of light' or Gilgamesh. As they were brief/updated on various different topics, Chrono himself glanced over to Chrys. So her off-handed remark about being chased out was true. He couldn't deny that he was wondering why, but at the same time, it didn't change that he didn't trust her. Unlike Torrin though, he wasn't going to immediately act on said distrust.

"And what are the other options you've been looking into?" More importantly, would they be of any use to them, the students, and not just calling in on someone else to help them. Truthfully he'd rather some sort of weapon or something to that nature.

Kal arrived at the meeting room last, keeping himself sequestered in the back mostly to listen. They didn't have a plan for this..of course they wouldn't. His expression grimaced, arms folded over his chest with his pointer finger tapping his arm. This was seriously testing his patience. Why has nothing been done yet? "No." He spoke up."I'm tired of being tugged around here. While we wait, the worlds are continuing to fall. We can't just stay here and bide our time."

Aria was expecting to be called to a meeting but not so soon. She went along anyways, finding herself in the middle of the Council meeting. It was then she noticed Chrys there, but it was an inappropriate time to run up to her and give her a hug. She was the last to know of Chrys's change of sides and being under the protection of the Council. She wanted to catch up with her sometime, but all that's been going on, she didn't know if she would get a chance.

Questions and concerns were brought up, some which Aria felt like were answered already. Tinarah didn't seem like she was in a good mood today...

She then heard Kal's question and she glanced over at him.
"Well... I'm not a master, but I see your point. But the fights we have been involved in, sometimes we had a few close-calls and almost lost. If we storm out there right now, the worlds would probably fall anyways and we would probably fall with them. Then who would be left to protect the remaining worlds? N-not trying to be a pessimistic, but we're not as good as we should be right now. If we run into the Light Chaser or one of his students now while trying to save the worlds, we're doomed. They're super powerful compared to us." She then shuffled in place and locked her hands behind her back, looking up at the Council. "So going along with Tinarah's question... are we going to be monitored and have a mentor for our training? Or are we expected to monitor and train ourselves and figure out what works best for us?"

Choma dropped his keyblade and fell to his knees panting heavily and removing his helmet to take a breath of fresh air, despite it being desert air. His armor was cracked and dented, his body was drained of magic, and he found himself without the strength to even stand anymore. As Choma looked up to see his opponent standing over him, Choma let out a pained chuckle. "I see..." He coughed and felt a pair of arms pull him back to his feet and support him as he was dragged backwards away from the Warrior. "All that and there's not even a scratch on him."

"Don't take it so personally. You put up a hell of a fight." Atmos patted the man on his shoulder as she stepped forward. "Take a breather. At your age you definitely need it." Atmos teased.

"Not funny. I'm not old, woman."

"Shhhh. Take your nap. Let's see if I can outpace the legend." The woman summoned her keyblade.

The massive man let out a hearty laugh when Atmos stepped forward yet readied his blade anyway, accepting the master's challenge. "THIS small one challenges me? HAH! I shall take care not to crush you like an insect. Now! Prepare yourself for GILGAMESH!"

"Master Kaio and Master Thyella will observe your training." Gero answered Tinarah, unfazed by her clear annoyance with the state of things. "They will be stricter teachers than what all of you may be used to but the time for such softness is over."

"Don't waste our time and we won't waste yours. That should be simple enough for your little heads." Kaio spoke condescendingly.

"And as for our alternatives to Gilgamesh, there are three options we are currently exploring. An example of the first can be found flying around this castle at this very moment."

Torrin leaned forward in his seat. "You don't mean Flammie, do you? For all we know she's the last of her kind! I don't think we'll be finding any more of her species to help out."

"No." Gero answered. "But you seem to fancy yourself an expert on the dragon. Train her, if you can, and in time we hope to find other powerful entities like her to summon to our side. Another alternative are weapons of an ancient legend...I do not believe any exist but perhaps the materials to forge such powerful weapons can still be found. However, the chances that even a single weapon of old can be made are slim." The old man stroked his beard thoughtfully and shook his head. "No...but the last option available to us is both simple and unpredictable. The Light Chaser's powers are, obviously, derived from the light. He has found a way to maintain a pure heart of light despite his actions and with his enormous strength, that light can be amplified to levels beyond any of our power. The logical solution then would be to pit him against an overwhelming dark force. However, this is a path we would wish to avoid altogether."

"That all being said, all of you need training. Seems like at least one of you isn't quite bright enough to understand that." Kaio directed towards Kal. "Though I'd normally give someone who just lost their master and the world they were training on a break, you are not the only person in this room to have lost people you care about. Unless you want to die fast, you'll do as your told and like it. Otherwise you can rush off on your own and get yourself killed pretending you're actually strong enough to play hero. Worlds will fall regardless of whether we act now or later so we should make our actions count so that we can end this catastrophe instead of getting everyone killed and have it continue anyway."

Oh this wasn't helping Tinarah's mood one bit. She might have found the fire to keep pushing forward and get stronger, but it didn't mean she was going to like having to train the way the council decided for them. Not only were they fighting some sort of illusion, which was not ideal in her opinion, though she was willing to wait and see before fully judging it, but they were also training with unfamiliar masters. The one that spoke up first really had Tinarah unhappy about things, his tone was enough to bother her, not to mention the way he spoke down to them. The rest of the conversation with Gero and Torrin faded away while Tinarah looked between the masters in charge of their training, then glancing at Fost. She was surprised that he wasn't in charge if they were going to be pushing them. While Tinarah never trained with the man, she knew he was a harsh teacher, she learned that when Stamatis adopted one of his methods to try and push her to get her keyblade back.

Kaio's words cut through Tinarah's thoughts and she glanced at the boy that he was talking to.
"He's right, we do need to train, trust me. I have seen his power, several times. I saw him nearly take two of my friends, nearly kill my master, one of the strongest men I know, and he sent me to a place no one thought possible. A parallel world to this one, and into the past for that matter. The Light Chaser isn't just some tyrant on a single world, he is destroying worlds. If your master fell to him, what makes you think that you can fight him? I don't want to see anyone else get hurt, but if we go out again, we will be asking to watch our companions fall around us, if we don't fall first, and I can't- I can't watch that again. So please just listen to reason and don't get yourself killed." Tinarah tried to reason, her voice getting a little softer than before, almost sad as she finished what she was telling him. It was her reason to fight, above trying to earn Fost's affection, it was so that even if he didn't care for her, she didn't have to watch him die. She refused to see Fost, or Stamatis, or Choma, or Take, or Chrono, or Aria die. While Light Chaser wasn't after the world she saw in the other realm, she had a feeling his world would be just as bad.

“M-Master Torrin?!” Lumen said once again with shock, once Qamar entered sorta vouching for Lumen. Not to mention appraising his actions, which made him blush a little as he let his Keyblade disappear. “T-Thanks...” The boy said kindly to Qamar. Then came the point of not continuing, no matter what happens he will not let any of his fellow wielders to be slain by their own. After all, that’s how the Light Chaser got to today. He moved over to the side to see the others talk a bit, and that was when Master Selene came into the room and made him jump. Apparently there was a meeting called, so the boy followed the others to where all the masters were while Kosmo hid in his scarf unseen as he entered the room.

He had been quiet for the majority of the meeting when hearing about him and Kal, who was the one that stormed about facing head on to battle, Lumen still wondered around the walls of his mind feeling depressed about his master. That was when he heard two unheard words that had been put together. Mirage Arena. Apparently it was a simulation place to train for everyone, then the boy spoke up about the arena,
“While I do like the thought of being in a simulation to train... I’m afraid I’ll have to pass on this arena, I don’t think this will be the best way for me to train. Especially if it’s in a cramped basement with tons of other students.” He wasn’t claustrophobic, unsociable or anything. It’s just Lumen prefers to be outside when training, gives him a bit more freedom. However, the thought from Master Selene of using it to relax wasn’t that bad of an idea at all, Lumen might even use it for his own reasons. He remained quiet for another period of time while Kosmo shuffled in his scarf, the boy calmed her down by slipping in a little grape he grabbed from the kitchen and gave it to the autumn dragon. She returned to her normal calm state when Lume heard something about armor, which got his mind thinking as he pulled out an object. He had received an odd medallion when he arrived with Master Sanda, it was silver with a little jade circular gem in the middle and strange writings along the rim of the disc. “Where do we go to get our armor? I’m still kinda trying to find out where everything is.” Lumen said as he fiddled with the medallion in his hands, waiting for someone to answer.

The other male's words towards him made Kal cut a glare towards the man. He was about to retort when Tinarah spoke up. He listened to her a moment before folding his arms across his chest."I'm not saying we should just up and rush in. I've just had enough of talk. It's time to act." He said."Both of you are right, training is needed, so let's just get it underway." He spoke. Sure he was impatient, but by no means was he reckless enough to go in guns blazing..keyblades slashing..you get the idea.

The way Kaio had spoken to them irked Chrono but was quickly overshadowed by the other methods. Out of the three, the second one was what he would've preferred to go with, but hearing about the chances of making those weapons was disheartening, to say the least. The Flammie was an interesting approach, but not one he could completely agree with. "And where do you plan on getting this darkness from?" The Realm of Darkness was the obvious answer, but beyond that, he couldn't see what force of darkness that could rival the light chaser and still being beneficial to them in the long run.

"It would be in your own best interest to use the Mirage Arena to train. Training on your own would yield next to zero results. Besides, I think you'll find that it won't be nearly as cramped as you imagine. Give a shot and you'll see what I mean." Kidemonas spoke towards Lumen.

"You're too soft, Kide." Thyella sighed.

"Anyway. As for the armor, you'll just have to wait on that. We don't have the necessary materials here to even construct them for you guys. We're working on finding what we need but once we do, I'll get to making armors for you guys. Well, everyone except the one person who already has one and the other who's refused." Kidemonas answered, narrowing his eyes at Torrin as he did so.

Gero clasped his hands together and looked at Chrono. "The answer to your question is both simple and complex. The darkness from the Heartless is strong but uncontrollable and those born in the Realm of Darkness simply do not have the levels of darkness within them that we would require. Attaining it from any other natural source could cause immeasurable damage to a world and, again, would likely be uncontrollable. No...a person with a heart of pure darkness would be the only reasonable option. However, all thirteen have been destroyed or rendered inert." Gero stroked his beard. "But such an option is best saved for a last resort no matter how we go about it. Discussing this further at this point in time would be meaningless." The old man pressed his his palms against the table and pushed himself up to stand.

"I am afraid I must call an end to this meeting for the Council must return to their duties. Those of you who wish to begin your training now follow Master Kidemonas to the basement and he will instruct you on the use of the Mirage Arena." As he spoke Fost and the Council members stood up and began to head out of the meeting room with only Kidemonas and Gero staying behind.

With the meeting coming to a close Tinarah barely flashed a glance at her companions before turning herself to walk out. She supposed this kind of training would do her better than what she had been doing. Training dummies didn't typically fight back. She had to wait a moment for Kide to be ready to head down, but as soon as he started leading, Tinarah followed, keeping herself quiet as she did. She wasn't sure what to expect of this training, and part of her balked at the thought. She had done so much training with Torrin and it turned out to be for the wrong reasons. As much as she wanted to trust the council, she found it another struggle for her. She trusted Stamatis, and she trusted Choma, but after the conversation she had, she couldn't trust Fost, and she didn't know what she thought of Gero. The rest of the masters she didn't know well enough to think one way or another about it. With Choma and Stamatis gone, it did make her wonder if there was another reason for it or just unfortunate timing. Either way she wouldn't have time or energy to think about it when she started her training, and in a small, twisted way, she looked forward to that.

"Alright well if you're all ready, just follow me." Kidemonas motioned for those ready to train to come with him as he began to lead the group out of the meeting room and towards the stairs. "There are fifteen training rooms. More than we need, yeah, but we had the room so I figured why not?" Kide said as he began to head down the first flight of stairs. "I've programmed sets of matches each with a maximum limit of people who can participate in them. So if you see a room that's full, just use another one." He began to descend the second flight of stairs leading them into another set of white halls that looked nearly identical to those on the ground floor.

"Anyway..." The hall he led the group down opened up into a large circular area with heavy metal doors lining the room. Both Thyella and Kaio were already waiting in the area waiting to observe over the training sessions of the students. Each door had a large glowing green number overhead that Kidemonas was sure to make note of by saying, "Green numbers for vacant rooms. Red numbers for occupied rooms. No one can enter an occupied room. Simple, right?" He motioned to the control panels affixed on the wall next to each door. "Just use those panels to access whatever match you want to start and walk in. If you're not feeling up to the challenge just call out "End Program" and the simulation will end. If there's no other questions, you guys can get ready to start splitting off into teams and get to training."

It didn't take long for Boreas to be found by Master Selene and making his way to the Council chambers. He took his place at Torrin's right hand, keeping an eye on Chrysantheum, protected by the Council or no she still had to prove herself to him as he had talked about with Illiana. He did note two other strangers with them, perhaps even more reinforcements. At least it seemed like his concerns had been adressed, even if a member of the Light Chasers team was now with them. He listened attentively to the meeting, so her master had turned against her, still that didn't do much to stop him from remaining wary of her, no doubt Torrin felt the same way. He did make note of Chrys being a master and the fact that all the students of the Light Chaser were now masters. The fact that the Council seemed more cooperative to show what they were planning was a welcome change of pace, it helped ease his doubts about them a little bit, but it was rather curious how it all fell into place right now. He glanced to Torrin when he mentioned his other master had been called Imera and used to have been on the Council too.

The plan to train sounded good to him, he rolled his eyes at Tinarah's question, his master wasn't here, neither was Torrins and apparantly the one of the new arrivals wasn't there either. The reinforcements were appreciated but these would have to be made count, as was pointed out they weren't up for the job and training was necessary, Boreas understood that. The mirage arena would be a boon, to train in active combat situations to improve their abilities without the risk of dying was exceptional and a truly powerful asset for their training. Torrin denied the offer for armour, he had lost his armour in combat against the Light Chaser, his second skin, Boreas understood why he would denied the offer for it to be made by just about anyone, they had their own man back home to make and maintain their armour and as briliant as Master Kidemonas was in making the Mirage Arena, he doubted he could beat their smith. Furthermore it was the sentimental value of one's armour, a second skin, it wasn't their way to take it to simply discard it later to get a new suit.

He didn't know how long the newcomer had been around the Castle but while he understood the desire to fight, it should be a fight they could atleast win and sure the worlds falling was a problem but recklessly charging into battle was pointless as Aria tried to get that through to him and expanded on the question Tinarah asked, it was a rather unnecessary question in his opinion, Torrin was with them should it be necessary he could lead them and guide them as he was a master and Boreas didn't exactly need the guidance he had a pretty good idea how to train by himself from basic training. The Master that had said they weren't strong enough was in charge of their training together with a rather condescending Master by the name of Kaio, it didn't matter to him that he was condescending, he would do as was required of him to grow stronger. It was just like his training for the army, the master was blunt but had the right idea, he'd have to keep his cool and set aside his pride to undergo this again after being an accomplished Captain but he had to try. The assertion that the Light Chaser was responsible for falling worlds was questionable to him, unless he intended to look like the saviour of everyone.

The pure Darknesses having been eliminated sounded intriguing but as Gero pointed out a last resort plan so no need to worry about that quite yet, they hadn't failed here. Master Kidemonas seemed rather annoyed with Torrin for the refusal it was a little amusing to him and was glad he had his armour already. Boreas fell in line behind the master as he showed them the way to the Mirage Arena and explained how it worked, when they were free to start with their training Boreas checked the little screen and looked to Torrin. "
I see one for two people, you want to have a go, like old times? I mean there's some for more than two, although I must say if you don't want to have a go with me, I am seeing something for on my own and let's be honest nothing better than knowing where you stand than going alone." Boreas said, while looking through the list of the simulations that had been made.

Tinarah lingered listening to the explanation. Boreas jumped on doing one with Torrin, but Tinarah didn't feel like finding a partner. After her talk with Fost, she hadn't felt like talking to anyone, which meant she didn't want to work with them either. Walking into one of the rooms, not looking back at everyone else. Looking through the options there was only a single one that was made for one person. Was she good enough to pull it off? She supposed that it was time to try it out since there was no way that she would be able to achieve one that required more people by herself. Closing herself in the room, she selected the one named "Lonely Heartless" and held her breath, hoping for the best. If she could manage to do this, then perhaps she would try one made for two people and see how far her luck took her. She couldn't hide behind Take and Chrono forever, she needed to learn to stand on her own.
