After Boreas had answered Take's question but others joined their group in the courtyard, Boreas turned to the newcomers as he was greeted and as he truly saw who it was he summoned his Keyblade in it's glaive form and took up a defensive stance, about to demand what she was doing here the Master however beat him to the punch. He was to simply believe that the student of a very powerful and strategicly skilled enemy abandoned their Master to now fight him and not expect this to be a ploy by his enemy? Boreas felt like the universe was mocking him somehow, talking to Torrin about the lack of reinforcements and then this being thrown his way. Having to work alongside your enemies wasn't a foreign concept to Boreas, but in those cases they would all be doomed if they didn't work together to get away from the Heartless they'd all die, he didn't have the same sense of urgency in this decision. At the very least the girl had been interrogated, but the fact that Fost pointed out neither him nor the Council cared for their opinions only served to make Boreas dislike this decision, of course they didn't care, they didn't have to work with her, it wasn't their backs the daggers would be plunged into, they were all sitting out here in this Castle while they fought, bled and died in their war.

The others with him didn't seem to have a problem with the decision, Tinarah arrived too and none of them seemed to have any concern over this decision and of course the girl had the protection of both the Council and this Fost. Boreas didn't like any of this. "
So I'm supposed to trust I won't find a dagger buried in my back over this?" Boreas said, he didn't buy a simple change of heart even if scrutinized by this supposed ally of the Council. "Of course Gero is fine with it, it isn't his neck being risked by this decision but hey you don't care, after all you're all here safely in the Castle away from the frontlines." Boreas said, weapon still in hand. The scion of someone who wanted all his people dead had a change of heart, perhaps she finally saw what her Master did wrong, but Boreas didn't trust the change of heart at all. He had a measure of respect for her skill at arms after their duel and not being swayed to change sides, loyalty was something he could respect even in his enemies. Boreas was in no rush to get acquainted with his former enemy and if his concerns weren't even heard anyways there was nothing left here to even be done, as the others talked to Fost or Chrys Boreas walked away Glaive in his hand, shooting a glare at Fost and Chrys on the way out.

Illiana listened as Boreas explained the current war going on in the Realm of Darkness. She nodded her head as he spoke. Once he finished, Boreas turned the girl and greeted her 'Good Morning'. She waved her hand before greeting him. "Sup?" She stretched her arms up, yawning a bit before cracking her knuckles. Before she could further the conversation, she looked over to the door as a strange man and a familiar girl showed up. Illiana tried to reach back in her memories to remember where she had seen that girl. "That girl....wait a sec!" That girl was a student of the Light Chaser. She was a bit concerned as to why she was here. The man had introduced himself as Master Fost. He had been interrogating her under Gero's orders. Illiana didn't really have much of an opinion on her. Fost had then spoke up once more. "Neither I nor the Council care about your opinions. This battle is not a game where you get to pick and choose your allies so deal with it. She will have both the Council's and my protection so don't think about picking a fight." Illiana smirked for a moment before turning her head away, the smirk still on her face. Boreas had then interjected while Take and Qamar had introduced themselves. He definitely wasn't on-board with the idea. He walked away while leaving the girl and the man. Illiana decided to finally say something. "Not a game? Interesting. If that's what this council believes.....it's a bit skewed. But you're free to believe what you wanna believe, Fost." The smirk still on her face as she continued while directing her attention to the girl. "I would say 'Welcome aboard' but I have my own questions for you and I'd imagine I don't have to say anything further on that subject." She then bowed a bit. "Catch ya later, little wandering lamb." With that, Illiana walked away.

Illiana had decided to catch up to Boreas. "
Very smart to not trust her right off the bat. A very wise choice to say at the least." She looked over to him as she spoke up.

"Yeah. It wasn't a big deal." Torrin answered Chrono. "I still wasn't expecting to see someone new though. Hm..." Torrin looked at Kalik. "Well it's good to have some more people on our side. It feels like we've been shorthanded for some time so, wherever you came from, it's good that you came at all." Torrin spoke towards Kalik. Looking around to see no one else in the hall Torrin asked Chrono, "Where'd Illiana run off to anyway? She was with you wasn't she?"

Fost raised an eyebrow when Boreas summoned his keyblade but remained still to see if he was foolish enough to attack them right there. He wasn't. Boreas left in a foul mood with Illiana trailing behind him leaving Fost to chuckle at their response. "That's about the response I expected. Though it seems like not everyone is out to get you, kid." He spoke in amusement.

When Tinarah had tried to greet him with an unwarranted sense of familiarity the man looked at her quizzically. Even after Stamatis had contacted him and informed him of everything that happened, the sheer thought of it all was still so strange to him. Even with all the knowledge he had possessed, he had never even believed it possible for there to be a realm he did not know of. Even so, it was a piece of knowledge that he regretted not taking into consideration earlier because of what he knew. "Tinarah." He nodded his head at the girl to acknowledge that he had noticed her presence. His head turned towards Qamar who had bowed to him. "Kide's student, hm? Not what I expected." Fost spoke simply.

"When you had informed me that Imera's world had fallen to darkness a year ago I had thought nothing of it other than it was a tragedy. But now Varka and Sanda's world both fell mere hours apart? This is no coincidence, Aster. What of Dasos and Kryo?"

"No response. No call for assistance like Varka and Sanda and the news only gets worse from there, Master Gero." The blonde woman spoke gravely. "I haven't been able to locate the other two's worlds. From the data I gathered I can only assume that they were destroyed..."

The old man let out a heavy sigh and rose from his seat. He slowly walked over towards the window, his hands clasped behind him, and gazed outside at the shimmering lake in the distance. "I see. Then Stamatis and I are all that remain of the old Council." Gero spoke solemnly. The man nodded and lowered his head, catching a glimpse of the courtyard in the corner of his vision. "You were still just a student when Ac–the Light Chaser left us. He, Kaio, Varos, and Chryssa had been promoted to become members of this Council. He even took you under his wing, did he not?"

    "Y-yes." Aster reluctantly responded.

"Fost, Stamatis, Imera, Varka, Sanda, Dasos, Kryo, and myself...only we knew of the true harm our mistakes had made. Are you certain the Light Chaser had never told you why he left?"

"No. All I knew was that he was angry and in pain. He wouldn't speak to Varos or Kaio or even me. But whatever his reasons were, that still doesn't excuse his actions."

"Perhaps. But perhaps these recent events are exactly what we deserve."

"Master?" Aster rose from her seat looking at Gero with a mixture of concern and confusion.

"There are only supposed to be seven members on this Council and, with my return, there are nine. By the end of this there should be no need to fill any vacant seats. Once more the Council will be at the number it was always meant to be when Stamatis and I face against him."

He had seen a world lost to darkness before but even if he had to see it a hundred times the sight of it never got any easier. The boy, Lumen, had been the only one he could save. Varos had brought Lumen to the outskirts of the lands surrounding the castle thinking the fresh air would do the boy some good after Varos had used magic to cure his wounds. When Lumen was aware enough to listen to what he had to say, Varos began the long story of what had led up to this point. The Light Chaser, the worlds falling to darkness, those who had banded together to stop him, the current state about the Seven pure hearts, that the world they were on was named Illusia, and the existence of the Council of Lights. The master looked uncomfortable for having spoken for so long just to explain what had been happening. His usually stoic face remained...stoic but his tone betrayed his annoyance and frustration that was clearly about something more than just having spoken for so long. Varos refused to say it but the loss of Sanda and the recent news of Varka's death had pained him greatly. But that was of no concern to the boy before him. "That should catch you up. I healed your injuries as best I could. If you are still in pain you may seek another master at the castle to fix what I could not."

Though he would have just been willing to set Lumen off on his way the gravity of the situation forced him to put pause on such a thought for now. "Sanda was a great woman. Her loss will be mourned by those who knew her. You would do well to honor your master and fight for the balance she once tried to maintain. With the Light Chaser threatening that balance you cannot give in to despair. Rest for now. Meet the others who have been where you are right now. And be ready when you are called upon to fight." He looked off into the distance where the castle loomed. "When you are ready, we shall head to Illusia's castle."

The first thing he remembered, was that he was in the midst of battle. Trying to find his master; Sanda, who watched over him since he embarked on his training with this legendary weapon many others had. The Keyblade. Now it seemed everything started to fall apart around him, struggling against the Heartless to find his trusted master. Until an cold hand took hold of his arm, not a Heartless, but rather another person. It was one of the other masters; Varos, who had pulled the young boy out of the frying pan of darkness. He then knew that it was too late to find his master. But she’d want him to get away, to find the Council with Varos.

After being lost in his thoughts for a minute, Lumen came to his senses and listened to Varos’ words. Aching from the pain just a little bit, Lumen stretched his arm a bit while speaking to the master,
“You’ve done all that you could Master Varos. I thank you greatfully.” Giving off a slight bow to him to ensure the comfort of the master. When the master mentioned Sanda, Lumen could still hear her voice in his memories. “She was... like a mother to me. She helped me when I struggled in training, when I was lonely, and even now when she protected not only me but her other students... She will have a proper memorial on Pyxisous.” While finishing his shortened speech, he got up and laid down his sleeping bag, laid down and toke a small nap. When he woke up, the boy stretched a bit still feeling the soreness in his legs. Lumen was shocked for a second when he felt a ruffle in his blue camouflage cloak, but was relieved when he saw a little orange head with horns pop up, leaf like scales and beady little eyes. It was Kosmo, his pet autumn dragon that he brought from his homeworld; Pyxisous, The World of Dragons. “Kosmo! By Alakies, you scared the dickens out of me!” The autumn dragon gave a little giggle and purred her head next to Lumen’s while being cuddled in the boys scarf. Slowly the boy then got up and walked over to Varos and spoke to him, “I think it’s time to move on. I’ll use my glider for the rest of the way, my legs are still healing from that battle.” Creating a small portal out of thin air, a horse sized White Dragon walks out over to the teenager. Lumen then hopped onto the back of the dragon and brought it into a canter around to Varos. “Would you like to ride with me Master?” The young boy asked kindly to Varos curiously.

The look that Fost gave her was enough to make Tinarah freeze. Of course she couldn't just walk right back up and hope that things would be even close to what they were before. Stamatis might have accepted the reality that she laid out before him, but Fost was different. It had taken her years to really see him warming to her, how could she think that it would just happen so easily. Fost had turned back to Qamar after Boreas and Illiana had left, rather annoyed. Anxiety started to rise, she could feel her heart pounding as she tried to think of the right words to say to him, nothing seemed appropriate though. "I'm sorry. I just thought. I wanted to see you, hope that a part of you would remember me just a little. I am sorry if I was wrong I don't mean to be intrusive." She stammered taking a couple steps back, but not running away just yet. There was still a chance that she misread the expression or that he would be willing to talk about it, but she didn't want to force him. No he already had a relationship like this once and it ended badly for him. She wouldn't put him through such things again. The papers tucked in her pocket started to burn and she started to wish she never collected them in the first place, but there was no erasing the knowledge now, only living with it.

"You are right." Kal told Torrin with a firm nod."Where I am from has little relevance to the situation at hand." He said and his gaze rested on the group at hand."Why I am here..is something you can help me with. My home was lost to the wave of darkness. The fact I had survived is nothing short of a miracle." His tone was weary, this was the second time his home had been lost to him. The second time he had lost something and the burden was heavy on him."I need your help to ensure that it doesn't happen again. It's selfish I know..But my fight alongside you all has personal motives." He said and glanced at Torrin."I will lend my blade to this battle, and no matter what it takes, I will see my home again. It is my penance for being too weak to protect those I love."

Boreas heard the others continued their conversation, but he didn't pay attention to what was said as he walked away, weapon still in hands. After that conversation that morning he had told Torrin he would support him and follow him into any battle even a losing one. This was just more proof to him that he could not rely on the Council's judgement. He would follow Torrin and trust his judgement, give him advice if asked for and help him, but he'd remain wary of the Council, their treatment of the forces under them didn't inspire much confidence in him. He'd give the masters out in the field with them the benefit of the doubt as they were all in the same boat. He was a little lost in his thoughts when Illiana joined him and spoke up, he just glanced at her for a moment, listening to what she said, she had been there when he had fought her, but she had her fight with Koa at the time so perhaps hadn't caught much of their duel. "
Sounds like you don't trust her either? Good thing to know I am not alone in this and that someone else has a sensible head on their shoulders." Boreas said. "A mere change of heart, really? At the very least they had the sense to interrogate her or at least that's what he said, I'll wait and see where this goes, before making up my mind whether I should trust her or not." He'd keep an eye on his own and Torrin's back and if the dagger came he'd be the first to act, he wouldn't lose more people to betrayal.

Aria frowned when the newcomer mentioned he lost his world to the darkness. Lucky for her, Master Choma arrived just in time to help things in her world before they got out of hand. Everything was in balance when she left. She could only imagine what it would be like to lose all she had grown up with and loved in a massive wave of darkness... "Well actually, that's why we're all here," Aria explained. "We're fighting the darkness while trying to stay two steps ahead of this guy we call the Light Chaser. He wants to get rid of said darkness too, but uh, eliminate it completely. Meaning everyone with even a teeny tiny bit of darkness in them will go poof." Aria flicked her fingers out close to her face as if blowing a small cloud out of her mouth. "Poof... But it seems like he's sometimes five steps ahead of us." Not knowing how much the guy knew about their current predicament, Aria decided to stop there to not overwhelm him and lace her fingers behind her back, digging the toe of her shoe in the marble floor. "Glad to have you on board though... Even if it's not in the most favorable circumstance."

"Everyone's got baggage. Seems to come with the responsibility of wielding the keyblade." Torrin stated simply. "Hm...well..." He folded his arms and looked at Aria as she made her own explanation about the situation regarding the Light Chaser. "I'd imagine a lot of people from this realm would be fine. Though I can't imagine it'd be a pleasant experience for a person to lose their darkness, even if it isn't much. Someone like Boreas, Qamar, Enzo, or myself though? Well..." Torrin shrugged and shook his head.

After a moment of pause he continued, "Aria's got that right. Trying to stay ahead of the Light Chaser has been difficult. Though I don't have any doubts that we'll come out of this on top. All of the Seven pure lights are accounted for and right now the Light Chaser's only move is to come for us. All we have to do now is be ready for when he does." Torrin spoke with confidence.

"I remember you." Fost answered Tinarah. "You're the girl who nearly got Stamatis killed. Not that it was really your fault." The man folded his arms and looked at the girl intently, seeing the sad puppy dog-like expression clear in her eyes. Stamatis may have been fine with using the girl as a replacement but he wasn't. "The man you saw in that other realm wasn't me. Keep that in mind and you'll spare yourself a great deal of heartache."

"I have my own duties to attend to." Varos spoke bluntly. He then pointed out towards the castle looming just a few miles away. "I believe the courtyard is a popular place for others to visit. Perhaps you will find other students there at this time of day." The man suggested to Lumen as he summoned his keyblade and tossed it into the air. He leapt up after it and landed on his now-transformed glider. "If you are seeking nourishment the castle has a fully stocked kitchen just beyond the main entrance hall." Varos pulled his glider back angling it towards the sky and with one last look at Lumen he launched off without another word towards the boy, leaving Lumen to his own devices as Varos took to the skies and vanished from sight.

"Illiana went off to get some fresh air, said she didn't have time to be angry after you two left." Chrono explained, his attention turning to Kal and his story for being here. It reminded him of another threat that needed to be dealt with and while not as immediate as the Light Chaser was, he's seen first hand how easily it could happen. "Its good to hear that you're confident about that, but if he does come here, he'll likely bring his students as well and I don't know how we stand up compared to them." His arms crossed before adjusting himself slightly. He lacked the experience needed to accurately make that comparison given his encounters with the Light Chaser's students have mainly either been words or just avoidance. Disregarding the dislike he held for two of them anyway.

The words hurt, but Tinarah was beyond tears at this point. She was done being upset and crying to herself as she stared Fost down. "I nearly got Stamatis killed? And where were you? I called and you ignored the plea for help, and yet you have the gall to blame me, when I was the one to get Master Gero out of that place. I was starved and dying and I still did more than you did. I am still not healthy but I was out there fighting for these worlds, fighting the darkness. You are fine sending children to battle for you while all the masters hide from what they view as their failures. I know why you are doing this. I know why you are like this and I know it hurts. By gods I know it hurts. Being betrayed by someone, or how about trying everything you know! When a whole world around you was a lie and controlled by someone else as a means to an end, and it leaves you so broken you don't know how to live, how do you carry on? You do what you have to and fight, not hide like a coward. So you are right, you are not the Fost I know. You are not the one I admired and was proud to call my uncle when I had no other family. No that one was so much stronger than you are, you are just an angry coward, nothing like the Fost I knew. So go ahead and hide behind children and let them go to war for you, but if you dare blame anyone else for anything that happens, I suggest watching your back." Her eyes burned with tears that didn't quite come out, but she stared down Fost. She hadn't been angry with him for not coming to help until now, until he blamed her for it. This wouldn't help her case, she knew. He would never see her, love her the way the other Fost did, but she would be damned if she let him walk around and blame her, or any of her friends for these problems when he wouldn't even stop to help himself. "The Fost I knew died in the war against darkness, along with everyone else. The only difference is everyone else is back now and still fighting."

“Then I wish you safe travels, Master Varos. I thank you once more for getting me here, I’ll give your regards to the other masters and the Council. And I’ll keep that in mind whenever I get hungry in the night.” Lumen said jokingly at the end. Seeing the man then summon his glider and fly off, Lumen spoke the words aloud, Afíste tous drákous na sas kathodigísoun sto peproméno sas... The boy then looks at Kosmo for a second as she tilts her head to him. “What? I’m just wishing him safe travels, that’s all.” He said to the autumn dragon as he turned his dragon glider to the direction Master Varos told him to go as he spoke aloud. “Now, let’s go see the Council and the rest of the students. Yah!” Lumen said when he whipped the reins on the dragon while it made a roaring neigh as it went on a full gallop sprint. It felt like the sunset was in front of them, as the castle was mere miles ahead, but soon enough Lumen spotted the fated fortress ahead. Eventually he brought his mount into a trot, as he saw others just outside, the boy thought he was the only one here besides the Council. But then again, Master Varos mentioned the events that were currently going on, and he certainly mentioned that students were in the courtyard. So he made his way towards them on his dragon glider with Kosmo perched on his shoulder. “Why hello there! I kinda didn’t expect seeing others here. Are you here to seek shelter as well?” Lumen said while resting on his mount as Kosmo looked at the group curiously from her perch.

Illiana kept walking alongside Boreas as he responded to her. "Sounds like you don't trust her either? Good thing to know I am not alone in this and that someone else has a sensible head on their shoulders." Illiana shrugged her shoulders as she listened before interjecting. "Just her? Hah. You say that like I trust everyone else here." She shook her head. "I don't do the whole trust thing anymore. People are like a coin...two-faced. Besides...Me? Sensible? I wouldn't say that but sure let's go with that." Boreas continued speaking. "A mere change of heart, really? At the very least they had the sense to interrogate her or at least that's what he said, I'll wait and see where this goes, before making up my mind whether I should trust her or not." Illiana nodded her head and took a few moments to gather her next few thoughts. After a good couple of seconds, she spoke up. "I have my own questions for the wandering lamb but let's just say, for now, she's on a trial run in our eyes. Seems appropriate, don't you think?" A slight smile crawled on her face as she crossed her arms. "I don't know how well she can fare in a fight but I imagine she can handle herself from the way you're reacting. Wouldn't you say so?"

Fost's words did not instill Chrys with confidence; she didn't really trust them to keep their word. Sure, it might be in their best interest to keep her safe from the other students now, but she had no doubt that if they became convinced she was in the way of their goals they would screw her over in a heartbeat.

    Regardless of allegiance.

While his words of the battlefield rang true, his lack of any attempt to actually placate the concerns of those who were essentially his soldiers did even less to quiet her fears.

Qamar was the first to approach. Considering that last time she had seen the girl had been when she had been mocking the death of one of her friends, the sudden cheerful and friendly nature of her greeting was... disconcerting to say the least. If anything, it only reinforced her newfound opinion on the two-faced and untrustworthy nature of people.

After her was a boy who called himself Take. He was... incredibly polite. His outstretched hand felt like something to be taken, if only to return his politeness. It was something she had tried so hard to do in the past after all. Heck, it was something she had been trained to do even.

    Then Boreas cut in.

She was reminded all of a sudden that being polite, well meaning, and caring had been exactly what got her into this mess. Boreas had the right of it: Anyone could stab her in the back here, even if they didn't have a active reason for it. She had been their enemy be default: Wasn't that bad enough? She withdrew the hand she had begun to outstretch from simple force of habit. Instead she crossed her arms and withdrew slightly behind Forst.

    "Chrysanthemum."

She introduced with absolutely no warmth before Illiana made a haughty promise of further interrogation later.

Meanwhile, in the background, Tinarah and Fost were having a little drama episode.

Tinarah. Perhaps there was an upside to being forced to work with these people after all. The Light Chaser had done a terrible thing to that girl while she had just watched unwittingly. She had to at least try to make up for that mistake. Chrys listened as Tinarah spoke of betrayal and the councils' poor behavior. It would seem that not everything the Light Chaser had told her had been a lie. That was that then: She didn't need to trust these people, she didn't even want to. They had betrayed and been betrayed. Circumstances may have forced her hand to cooperate with them, but she couldn't afford to make that kind of mistake again.

She sighed as she felt the urge to go off and be anywhere other than surrounded by potential backstabbers, but she unfortunately had no such luxury. There were plenty of students who had not yet been made aware of her presence, Torrin prime among them. If she didn't trust him not to attack her with a masters 'protection,' she certainly wasn't going to take stupid chances on him not attacking without it. Even if she was allowed to leave anyone's sight for the time being.

And then a boy came flying in on what looked like a dragon, cheerfully asking about shelter.

She rubbed her forehead in exasperation, her current situation taking no turns in any relevant directions.

"Can I just curl back up in the creepy jewel teeth now...?" She muttered under her breath.

Take had kept his hand held up a little longer even after she had backed up and away from him. He looked a little confused and unsure but soon let his hand fall back towards his side. Maybe his politeness came across too fake? He felt pretty genuine about it even if it was coming from a place of necessity rather than want. But at the rate everything seemed to be going, everything just kept going downhill. First Boreas and Illiana had already run off after making absolutely certain to make Chrysanthemum uncomfortable. Then Tinarah stated getting at it rather quickly with Fost which was surprising. And then suddenly there was a kid with...

Take's body completely turned as his immediate reaction was to summon his keyblade and stand on guard upon seeing dragons. But he quickly realized what exactly was going on and made a loud noise of disgust and said,
"I'm out. I'm not dealing with another dragon situation today." he waved towards Chrys and said, "Well, Chrysanthemum. We don't need to be close or anything but if you need any help with anything just look for me and I'll do my best. Or... ya know... don't if you don't need it... free will and all that... mmm..." and he summoned away his keyblade and went to walk away. Nini had wriggled her way out of TInarah's arms mewing and ran her way towards Take and followed after him.

Well Boreas took that as well as Qamar would have expected. She didn't bother to follow after him, seeing as Illiana went behind him. Qamar sighed, shaking her head. She crossed her arms and saw one new boy who looked about as shaken as she had several years ago. She wanted to approach him, but Chry introduced herself. "Can we shorten it? That's quite the name you have there, Chrysanthemum." she commented. Tinarah then went off the deep-end on Maser Fost and Qamar scratched her head. "Honestly, that's been something I've been curious about as well. For all the years I've been a student, I've only seen the Masters leave on rare occasions." she didn't even want to speak about how her Master never left. "Still, I"d be careful who you spoke with Tinarah..." Qamar had heard stories about a Master who she had never seen before. Master Fost was most likely that man. Qamar sighed and looked towards the castle. She caught glimpse of a keyglider in the sky. "Master Varos?" she questioned, watching him zoom by. Before she knew it, he was gone from view. From behind, she heard the sound of a keyglider landing. Turning, she was greeted with the sight....of a goddamned dragon. "What in the hell...?" she questioned, watching a student climb off of the incredulous vehicle. Take basically gave up on the situation and she couldn't agree more. Qamar walked after Take.

Qamar didn't really say anything as she walked behind the boy. She wasn't even trying to follow him for any particular reason. When the staircase came into view, Qamar quickly ran up it two steps at a time. She made it to the to and looked down at Take. "Try to go two steps at a time! It's a good workout!" she called. She turned away and headed towards the Masters wing and made her way to Stamatis' room. She stopped at the door, knocking gently on the door. "Master Stamatis? It's Qamar, I...I kind of had a few questions if you have the time? I'd have asked Master Kide, but I know he's busy with that project of his...." she made an excuse as to why she didn't just go to her own Master first.

Stamatis had made mention of the 'Light Chaser'. An individual who not only sought to fight the darkness, but get rid of it completely. This Light Chaser sought to upset the balance of reality. Enough damage had been done already."I don't know how we would compare to them but.." He would address all of them."We could find a way to weaken his power. Give us a fighting chance."

"Hm. Well he's already lost one." Torrin said recalling his last encounter with Dentro who had lost himself to the darkness within his own heart and had been struck down. "As for the others? I don't really see them being much of an issue. The only reason they're even still standing is because when I was fighting them, they always had me outnumbered. On their own, each one of them might be stronger than any of you guys but not to the point where it would be impossible to win a one-on-one fight. I wouldn't suggest it though. Two or three of you per Chaser would be enough to beat them." Torrin rubbed his chin thoughtfully and nodded at his own assessment, feeling that it was the right call to make when the situation came up.

"And as for weakening the Light Chaser...well that's a nice thought but he doesn't seem to draw his power from anywhere. The only thing I see working on him is just surrounding him and hitting him with everything we have. We'd have to take down his students first though otherwise they'd just get in the way."

"Perhaps the Stamatis you knew must have been a poor teacher. He should have taught you the value of strategy yet here you are getting emotional. Isn't that what dragged Stamatis into a trap in the first place? The Council is planning long term, kid. At the end of the day, you kids will be nothing more than a last line of defense in the worst case scenario. Whenever the Light Chaser does decide to confront us, it'll be the masters who face him. Not a bunch of kids who can barely hold a keyblade the right way." Turning to look over at the newcomer Fost decided that now was a good time to make his exist.

"You seem to be in good company, Chrys. Keep yourself out of trouble, kid. And maybe stick with someone who can vouch for you in case you run into someone else who think you're still the enemy." Giving the girl a slight wave and the newcomer who arrived by...dragon-horse a nod of acknowledgement, Fost left to head back to the castle without another word to Tinarah.

Stamatis's door swung open and rather than the silver-haired man answering Qamar's call it was a short young woman holding a large dusty tome in her other hand that appeared to be weighing her whole arm down. "Qamar? Hey! What a surprise!" Selene spoke happily. "Oh? That look on your face...Oh! You were looking for Stamatis. Sorry. You just missed him. I think I saw him heading out to find Thallasa and some others. Said something about catching up with Varos..." The snowy haired master grunted as she hefted the book up and hugged it in her arms to her chest. "Stamatis wanted me to bring some reading material to Master Gero. Something about allowing the master to refresh himself on some spell. I tried to take a peek but the book just wouldn't open for me. But I remember Stamatis had another book that had the same kind of enchantment...I caught a glimpse one time and it turned out to be cake recipes...I always thought he was a sweet man but I didn't ever think someone like him would have a hidden sweet tooth and why are you looking at me like that oh you want to speak up about something? Sorry I just get nervous sometimes when the rest of the Council is up to something and just won't tell me or Kide just becausewe'retheyoungestokayI'llstoptalkingnow." Selene took in a deep breath and laughed anxiously. "Ahaha...is there anything I can help you with?"

Noticing that there was a conversation going on, Lumen decided to wait until it was done. Seeing that a boy and girl left for some unknown reasons, the boy seemed to be angered while the girl went in a hurry for something. Then the older man gave Lumen a nod, and gave one back to him. Now feeling his legs are better, Lumen slid off from his stead as it disappeared in thin air as he made his way towards the girl named Tinarah; that the man was talking too when he accidentally eavesdropped. “Did I come in at a bad time? Sorry, I kinda was in a rush. Didn’t expect to get here sooner.” He said as Kosmo climbed up onto the young boys head looking at the girl while tilting her head, and scratching her ear like a dog.

"I don't know what your definition of strategy is, but what you have all done isn't strategy and we aren't on the last line, not when we have lost people to his students, and nearly lost Take to him. He showed up, twice now. He has kidnapped numerous of us, and still we are out there and you all are here. And I never asked Stamatis to come to me. I contacted him yes, but I was content just talking, he chose to show up." She told him flatly, angry and defeated and hurt, as Nini jumped out of her hands to join Take instead. It hurt more than anything the harsh words that he spoke to her, Tinarah missed her uncle and all she could think of was wanting to go back. She knew that she wasn't strong enough though, not on her own, and didn't know how to ask if Gero would send her back. He had opened the portal once after all. But for now she was left with a different situation, as Fost walked off she was left with two new people, one she had seen before and one that she had not. Take had left because of the arrival of the one, and while Tinarah didn't feel all that hospitable, she couldn't just leave the two of them alone, she had to make at least an effort.

"Don't worry I am not going to bite, and despite some of the other reactions here, I don't hate you. If you haven't caught my name by now it is Tinarah." She spoke to Chrys trying and failing to give the girl a small smile. "I don't know your whole story of why you are here, but you were the only one to not yell at me when I went to help my friends, and for that I am willing to give you a chance." After all, Torrin nearly attacked her and she gave him a chance, and it turned out that he was able to save their butts on numerous occasions.

Tinarah then glanced over at the new guy who had gotten off what seemed to be a rideable dragon.
"No you didn't come at a bad time. The conversation is over. To answer your question we are all here for our own reasons," they were too hard to explain to even bother trying. "so what is your story?" She honestly didn't even want to listen, but she couldn't think of what else to say to him. Tinarah glanced over to Chrys for help on that front, but she had a feeling that she would be equally as lost on what to say.
