"Hey, I'm curious, I wanna get to know you." she clarified. When he explained why he was here and what his mission was, she tapped her chin. "So you're saying you're only really here to assist Torrin and bring him home?" she asked. "That sounds pretty straightforward if you didn't have to deal with the Light Chaser in the meantime." Qamar forked some eggs into her mouth and chewed them, watching the yolk spill out of it on her plate. "So Orphic Coast has a military. Speaking of that, you did say there was a war between people who wanted to stay in the Realm of Darkness and the ones who wanted to go to the Realm of Light. Do you know what even caused it?" she asked. "I mean, what made people want to go to the Realm of Light? I can say for a fact that the only difference between the two places is that their eyes don't glow in the darkness." Qamar scratched her face.

"And I honestly wish I could go back to the Realm of Darkness sometimes. Being here makes me feel like I'm not wanted sometimes...especially when I see what the darkness can do to somebody from here. They just can't control it and lose themselves. Except Master Skia..." she muttered that last part, shrugging. "I think after all this is done, I'll go back to the Realm of Darkness with you and Torrin. Heck, maybe I could be in the army. At least then I'd have something to do with my strength." she said. "Mm...do you suppose I would do alright?" she asked Boreas. "And you kind of glossed over the details about your life, but I can understand why. Maybe I'll learn more later." she smiled.

Torrin smiled as he listened to Aria, picturing the quiet and peaceful life Aria had when not dealing with strange monsters. "Must've been great...so calm. Being able to go out and take a stroll through the trees...Riding Dubble around..." He leaned his head back and sighed out. "Bet you were really good with that flute." Torrin commented, shifting his gaze over towards the girl.

When she asked him her own questions his heart sank a little and he straightened himself out to sit up properly. "Well this coat and shirt were just things I found in storage. They were a bit dusty and I guess they belonged to someone else who once stayed in the castle. Though I didn't see a name tag so..." He shrugged. "You know the coat I had before? The shredded one? My mom gave me that when I was still a kid way before I had a chance to grow into it. It's...one of the last things I have left from her."

"Um...anyway...not to be a downer but there wasn't much to do in terms of fun. As a kid I read a lot...I'd listen to people tell me their stories." He chewed on his lip for a moment as he thought about what he could add without bringing Aria down. "Things are complicated back home. I'd say...right about now the war's been going on for nearly 24 years. There's a civil war going on about...well I suppose the most basic reason is that there are people who are fed up with living there with all the Heartless and there are those who want to keep them there for several very good reasons for everyone's protection. Ironic that protecting people led to a war...as far as I know, no one really knows what exactly sparked it."

Torrin held up his left hand and summoned his keyblade in it. "A lot of my time at home revolved around me having this. Studying, training, learning new skills, and more studying. Everything to prepare me for taking over my uncle's job when he inevitably bit the dust during the war. That's...the thing with my family. Just about everything is geared towards the line of succession. First kid in the royal family to get their keyblade is the next in line. Are you royal blood and having a kid? Better perform that keyblade inheritance ceremony as soon as they're born to maximize their chances of wielding a keyblade someday. The worst part is, the system works great. Keyblades don't choose weak people. The keyblade wielders in my family are definitely proof of that. So when out of all my cousins I was the only one to have one...well... Let's just say, until this whole Light Chaser business happened, there wasn't a day where I felt like this thing chose the right person." His blade disappeared from his hand and he chuckled. "Sorry. Home had some good memories but even after 6 years in the Realm of Light sometimes all that comes to mind are the bad ones. I know leaving the way I did hurt a lot of people but if I didn't there are people here I wouldn't have met." He glanced over at Aria. "Like you."

Fost smirked. "You've got some spunk, kid. Maybe you're not all that bad but I'm still gonna need you to answer the question. I'd rather not resort to unpleasant methods of digging through your memories for answers. I will if I feel like I have to and I'm sure you've got some embarrassing personal secrets of yours that you don't want me digging through." He pointed to his temple as he spoke.

He leaned back and folded his arms. "You see, knowing what kinds of promises he's made you gives me insight into what he's got in mind. So it very much is my business and the business of everyone in this castle. And, while you're at it, you might as well tell me why you were wandering the space between worlds alone. What kind of mission you were on, kid?"

Chrono felt a twinge of guilt as Tinarah had mentioned her injury, but he was quick to cast aside those thoughts to focus on helping out Take. The drawings on display for them were well drawn. To the point in which Chrono was able to figure out what the spells were before he glanced down to the names underneath them. He'd known that Take's reading skills weren't as up to par as one would expect them to be, but he didn't fully know the extent of it. When Tinarah had finished her offer to teach him, Chrono glanced once more at the book. Magic wasn't his strong suit and his limited selection of it furthered his limitation on being a magic tutor of any kind. "I don't know how much better of a teacher I'll make, but I can try."

Take was a bit curious about the injury that pulled Tinarah out of school early, but he decided he better not since it seemed to be pushed aside to make way for the rest of the conversation. As he listened to Tinarah say she would try to teach magic, and Chrono say he would try to help with magic... and possibly reading? He found humor in the fact both seemed a bit unsure but still earnestly wanted to help. He took the book back and closed it to put it in his bag and said, "Hey, trying is something, gotta start somewhere. Thank you for the offers." the boy shifted back towards his food and took a bite out of it again and remembered he was full again and looked towards the two and said, "I'm very confused over everything and I'm wondering if they're gonna start getting into a bit of a lock-down mode and trying to keep Aria and I here now. I guess... I guess I'm still not sure how I feel about this." Take looked down the table at the rest of the masters and then back at his food as he tried to eat a bite again. After chewing a bit he continued, "I don't exactly want to sit around and do nothing... but I'm not sure what we'd be able to do if a situation like that happened again. and we didn't have Torrin around or another master around or something..." he looked a bit nervous as he admitted, "I couldn't move when he was running at me. I've... only ever felt like that two other times in my life and I'd rather not have it happen again... it's why I want to learn more about magic, but I'm not really sure if it's worth it either..."

Aria smiled a little when Torrin mentioned one of the good things was meeting others like her. His past life seemed difficult to say the least, maybe sometimes dull and overbearing. She wouldn’t know if she could handle that kind of pressure. Perhaps that was why Grandpa Gero wanted for her to grow up in a quiet place, away from all the politics and turmoils of the worlds. She didn’t know if she herself was an actual princess or not since the Light Chaser told her she didn’t have to be a princess to be a princess of heart, but she figured she was placed on a simple world to be raised accordingly; not knowing if her destiny or what she was.

She sighed out a bit and then glanced to the window, then back at Torrin. “Well... how long until we start training...? If we have time, I can look at your coat and see if I can mend it. It may not look exactly how it looked before... but at least it won’t fall apart. And if you want, I can teach you to play the flute,” she said with a smile. She then pushed the blanket off of her and then made herself stand from the cold floor. She was a little wobbly and quickly sat back down on the edge of the bed. “Work you darn legs,” she said in a low voice to her lower extremities. She forgot that just a bit ago she almost froze to death... these brushes of death were starting to become common for her... which probably wasn’t a good thing.

She looked at the chain on the floor, studying it carefully. “I don’t want to just throw that away,” she said softly, pointing at the broken bracelet. “Now that I know who it used to belong to... but I don’t know where to put it... and I don’t want it to get stuck on me like a finger-trap again if I touch it.”

She wanted to get to know him? Sure it helped to know your comrades and she undoubtedly needed to know more about where she hailed from which was very clear from the things she said. "Light Chaser or not, it is my duty and so it shall be done." Boreas simply stated, he would see that it was done, even if it cost him dearly, the letter in his pocket a reminder of the price he might pay for his mission. He looked at her when she brought up both sides of the war. "I never said anything of the sort." He said harshely, he had been taught the reason for the war. "I do know it and you clearly do not know very much about your home if you truly believe that the differences are that trivial." Her remark about what Darkness could do to a person from the Realm of Light cast doubt on whether she paid as much attention to her tutors as she clearly claimed. "Darkness can do that to any person regardless of which realm they are from. The reason Master Skia has not fallen is either she has not delved deep and is careful when dabbling with it or she has the iron discipline required and knows when to quit. Perhaps a combination of the two." Boreas said speaking not as harshly as before, sure people from the Realm of Darkness were used to living within the Dark but they too could get lost to it, perhaps the real advantage they had was more people to properly train students in it's use. "As for the army it isn't simply brute strength that wins battles, the way you are right now no, you wouldn't do alright, perhaps they'll set you on the right track during training." Boreas said with brutal honesty, he simply glared at her over the remark of him glossing over large parts of his life. He focussed on his breakfast and cleared his plate before excusing himself, he wanted to go find Torrin figuring a good place to start was the man's own room Boreas headed there. Walking down the hallway he heard his voice before he found Torrin, he was talking to Aria. He stopped in the doorway. "Good morning Torrin, Aria. How are you two?" He greeted them both, although the question seemed a bit unnecessary as Aria didn't seem to be doing so well. "Torrin, I was looking for you, but since you're busy, would you come find me when you have some time?" He lingered for his friends answer but there was a task he could set himself to to kill time if it was necessary.

"They let Aria go last time." Tinarah pointed out. "But I don't think any of us should leave regardless, not yet. I don't know what the council is doing but I don't think I will be able to do another excursion like that again any time soon." Tinarah glanced down to the table, the food that she was still, slowly picking at. "I myself am nothing special, no reason they should care about me, but I am not all that healthy right now. I don't want to have to go out again, I told Master Stamatis as much yesterday." Tinarah continued to point out. "And I don't think they will leave us without Torrin or Master Thallasa with us, they didn't last time, I don't know why they would now." She didn't know if it would actually help ease the mind of her friend but Tinarah didn't know what else to tell him. She knew that things weren't good and it was enough that Fost was actually coming, when he didn't even dare come to save Stamatis when the Light Chaser came to attack them. She wasn't going to tell anyone about that part though, her fears. It would only make the situation worse. "I don't think learning more magic would hurt in any way. After all depending on the magic it could be used in all sorts of ways, but ones like it seemed you were looking at, that are more supportive based would be helpful if I.... mess up... again." Like when she nearly died. If she did or disappeared again for some reason. If they were split between worlds, someone else needed to know how to do what she did.

Take listened to Tinarah's response to him and when she first mentioned that she wasn't special, he wanted to say something immediately, but held back cause he kind of understood where she was coming from. Until yesterday that was how he felt about himself. In fact, he'd be lying if he didn't say he still felt like he wasn't anything special and was just another one of the numbers. But when she brought up her messing up, he couldn't hold it back this time as he said,"Don't talk about yourself like that. We all make mistakes, but if you hadn't been around half the times you were, who knows what could have happened to us. You're a great healer, and I saw how you were attacking during that fight with the Horned King, you're pretty strong too, even if it's magic based." he sat back a little and poked a bit at his food with his fork cause he didn't want to stop his point, "And sure you might not be some pure heart, heck you might be lucky for that. You might not be some princess or some high ranking general or something like that. But you're you, and I think that's special." he ate what was left of his food and sipped at his cocoa a minute before looking at Tinarah and said, "And I'd rather see you get healed... we both talked about it before because we're both the same, putting others over ourselves, you need to put yourself first more. Don't let anyone think you aren't worth that..."

After a moment Take stared at the plate and looked a bit pained and admitted with his usual straight face as if he was trying to hold his expressions back still,
"The food was fantastic, but I ate way too much and now I'm hurting."

"None of us were able to do anything when the Light Chaser had made his move." Chrono stated. That had been why he wanted to learn how to properly use his drive in the first place and even with what he knew now, he could only really see it working for a few seconds if any at all. Not the most pleasant of thoughts, but it was the truth. Precisely why he needed to improve himself. "I can see them taking some more precautions before sending us out again, so we should at least do what we can before they send up out again." Saying that made Chrono feel as if they were just soldiers being shipped out to war, which to some they might as well be.

Chrono remembered that he still had food to eat, he reached for his partially eaten hashbrown. Through Take's pep talk of sorts, he managed to eat another bite of it before adding in his own two cents. Least he tried to think of what these 'two cents' would entail as a fair bit of what he would say, Take had already covered. "If its any consolation, and while the council might not see it this way, but you're both equally as important to me and I would very much appreciate it if you dialed down the 'putting others before ourselves' aspect. It'd make me feel better at least."

It took her off guard. Tinarah didn't know when the conversation became about her, when Take started worrying about the way that she spoke of herself. In all honesty, Tinarah had thought that she was being rather kind to herself, at least compared to many of her thoughts, and she hadn't been thinking much about herself, but here Take was trying to give her a pep talk. It was enough to make her forget about the food she had been forcing herself to eat. "Thanks but... I just do what I have to, nothing more. I don't want to be anything more." It was a comfort not having too many people look her way, being able to quietly just keep to herself and do what she had to without anyone judging her for it. That was one of her fears, the moment she started to acknowledge herself, the moment others did, she would be put on a scale and never meet expectations.

Chrono then spoke up asking them to dial down what they had been doing, but Tinarah only looked away.
"Says the guy who has done nothing but protect me all my life no matter what the cost to him. I can't loose you again." She looked to Take. "I can't lose you either. I have been there, that world with out any of you, and I don't want to live in it." Tears started to run down her face without her realizing. "I had to watch Mika die for me to try and get me out of that world and I came back to find her gone here too. One of few friends I have ever really had. I can't live in that world Chrono. So I can't promise that, because I am scared.... I don't know if I can rebuild myself again if anyone else dies. It is so damn hard as is, I am breaking apart everyday more than I am healing. So no. If putting myself last means you all can live then that is what is going to happen." Tinarah admitted before realizing all who shared a table with her. Embarrassed by her tears she got up, excusing herself, trying to hold back tears long enough to leave the room where there weren't so many eyes on her before the tears started anew and Tinarah was left searching for some sanctuary to go and hide in, not knowing if Take or Chrono would follow.

At first Chrono had chuckled awkwardly at his sister calling him out on the very same thing he wanted them to not do, but much like with the overall change in mood the conversation took, he chuckles turned into a sigh. Not one of frustration or annoyance, but understanding. He didn't doubt for a second that if he had been the one to go through what she had, that he would do whatever he could to avoid having to go through it again. In that regards, they were similar to one another, which was why he wouldn't sit by as she constantly endangered herself to avoid this. The very moment Tinarah had gotten out the door, Chrono had gotten up and chased after her.

Take was a bit surprised how quickly this conversation turned bad and when Tinarah stood up and left, Take stood up pretty quickly and said, "Tinarah wait!" but by then she was gone, and Take was going to head after her but saw Chrono move first and decided to not. He figured both of them being there was overkill, and she would probably do better with one instead of both. Take stared at the empty plate and sighed, whispering to himself,
"So much for not trying not to upset her by eating the food... you still upset her anyway..." and he started cleaning stuff up in order to get out of there and maybe do something where he wasn't bothering someone.

The way Boreas had ended that conversation left Qamar feeling pretty stupid. She ended up finishing her food off and just staring at the empty plate, not sure what she should do. He ended up finishing his own food and leaving shortly after. In the meantime, Qamar was left to dwell on his words. The way he spoke, he acted as if she didn't know what darkness could do to a person. She knew this from her own experience. She knew her limits and when she reached them. She knew there was a certain discipline that had to be attained in order to quell going further. Meditation helped her with that, as it always had, so she knew she was okay on that front. The army was just a fallback in case she couldn't find anything to do after this whole Light Chaser adventure ended. Thinking back to it, Qamar was even sure she had offended Boreas somehow. She made sure she would remember to apologize later and show him she would be a worthy person during his training.

Glancing over at Chrono, Take and Tinarah, Qamar overheard the tail end of the conversation. Before she knew it, Qamar saw Tinarah walking out of the room, her head hung low. Chrono went after her with Take trying to call. The boy ended up resorting to cleaning up his plates and Qamar felt kind of bad for the lot of them. She got up and gathered hers and Boreas' plates, noticing most of the Masters were gone by this point. She absentmindedly wandered over towards Take and stopped, staring at the end of the table the Masters were sitting at, conversing to themselves. "That's odd, I didn't see Master Kaio until halfway through breakfast..." she spoke out, looking at Take. "Are you okay? You look...kind of sad." she spoke to him. "Actually, I have an idea if you want to work off all the food you just ate." she suggested, a small smile on her face. "Of course, I don't blame you if you'd like to be alone. Perhaps I can help you find the library if you want to do some reading?"

Torrin raised his arms ready to catch Aria if she fell over but when she kept her balance he lowered them and pushed himself to stand up, picking up the broken bracelet along the way. "Training starts today. It should be way different that what you're used to. Though..." As he looked at her he realized she wasn't in the best shape to go just yet. "Waiting a few hours for you to recover seems like the best thing for you right now. And don't worry about my coat. I might take you up on that offer but I think it's earned some rest. Those flute lessons though...well I have something in mind about that now that you mention it." Torrin said as he thought to his own pet project that was still fresh in his mind's eye.

Torrin was ready to continue speaking when Boreas passed by the door and stopped. Torrin was nervous to have been found alone with Aria but seeing his friend looking to be in a better mood than when he last saw him set Torrin at ease. "Hey. Good morning to you too, Boreas. We're good." He gave a short nod and glanced over at Aria before returning his attention to Boreas. Though curious about what Boreas wanted to find him for, it did not sound urgent to him. "Yeah. Of course. I'll find you in a bit. Oh and, if you haven't already gotten it, breakfast smelled nice." He almost immediately regretted those words as he had hoped to not be called out for not having breakfast yet.

Take looked over at Qamar when she started speaking to him and he admitted,"I'm fine... my mind's just all over the place..." he looked over where Tinarah had run off until he heard Qamar mentioned the library and winced a bit and looked back at her with a straight face, "I actually was considering going for a jog to work off breakfast rather than doing reading, I spent all morning doing that." he looked to Chrono and Tinarah's plates and he went to clean up Chronos and wrapped up Tinarah's and pulled a marker out and ended up writing Tinarera on it before he looked back at Qamar, "What did you have in mind otherwise? Need a meat shield to hit repeatedly?" he paused a long moment before saying, "No I don't enjoy getting hurt it's just that usually when it comes to sparring that's basically all I... what did you have in mind?"

Training started today... there really wasn't time to lose with the Light Chaser practically on their doorsteps. Still, Torrin hinted that Aria was going to sit out for a bit because of her current condition... or infection as it was called earlier. She glanced up to see Boreas there, but Torrin was quick to say they were fine and dandy. Torrin mentioned breakfast, and with the door open, the smell wafted into her room. Aria's stomach growled loudly and she clutched it, smiling sheepishly. "It does smell nice," she said. But she didn't think she could get up and go get it herself. Feeling a slight chill in the air, her mind probably still playing tricks on her, Aria grabbed her blanket again and wrapped herself in it. "Why don't you go on ahead Torrin," she said with a smile. "I'll be alright."

Tinarah heard Take call after her, but she didn't want to stop, not until she was outside of so many peoples prying eyes. By the time she stopped however it was not Take that had gone after her, but her brother that met her in the halls. She still didn't know where to go, but at least there was less people to witness her tears. She had thought she had grown stronger than this, she had grown stronger than it. Now at least she fought for what she believed instead of hiding, but she couldn't stop thinking of herself as the least worthy of anyone. Of course she wanted to live, but she would do whatever it took to make sure that others were able to live first. IT was her first priority and she couldn't stop that, didn't know how. Leaning against the wall, looking at her brother Tinarah stayed silent for a long moment. "I don't think there is any healing, going back." She finally told him. No going back to the shy girl when she had left, no going back to the happy child before their mother died. What she was now she didn't know, she didn't know if she would ever figure it out.

Torrin looked at Aria and whispered hesitantly, "You sure?" He did not want to leave her by herself but she insisted that she was okay. Torrin nodded but still looked at Aria with concern. "Hm...hang tight, alright? I'm gonna get you something to eat. I'll have my communicator on me too so if you need anything at all, just give me a ring. Seriously. Or else. Don't be stubborn or the wrenfel will get you. Er...that was the name of those monsters right? Yeah I'm pretty sure that was it. Anyway, I'll be back with food and then I'm off." As he left Aria's room he looked at Boreas. "One minute. I'll be back and we can chat about whatever you wanted." Torrin spoke as he left in a hurry.

He rushed over to the kitchen to pick up some food, grabbing some moderately warm toast in the process for himself. As he picked up a plate of eggs for Aria and some juice, putting another piece of toast atop the eggs for her, while biting gently on his own toast to carry it all easily. There were still some masters in the room and he thought he saw Choma give him a look of amusement as he rushed out but Torrin spared no words for anyone when he entered and left. He returned to Aria and left the food and drink for her by her bed. "It's probably a bit lukewarm but try to eat what you can. Good? Good. Take it easy for a bit. I'll see you soon." Torrin gave Aria a wave as left her room, leaving her door partially closed to give her some privacy.

"Alright Boreas. Sorry for the wait. I'm ready when you are."

Of course it couldn't be as simple as saying no. Why she had been so simple minded as to think that actually would have worked was beyond her. As far as this man was concerned, she was the enemy. She had the sneaking suspicion that he wouldn't be satisfied by anything she said. It couldn't really be helped though. There was likely little chance of success against a man who taught her master, even if he was lying about the wards, or she could get through them. She was pretty much doomed how ever this played out, which was only made worse by the fact that this was about someone she was no longer loyal too.

"My only 'mission' was to get the heck out of dodge." She sighed, only hesitating for a few moments more before speaking up again. "He talked about bringing my home back from the darkness, and getting rid of it for good. Is that what you needed?"

Aria raised an eyebrow when Torrin told her to sit tight. She then giggled when he instructed her to call him if she needed help while she was gone. She thought it was kind of pointless with Boreas standing right there, but she figured he meant for when he actually left her be whilst he talked with Boreas.

She watched him come in the room and put the plate down and then smiled warmly at him.
“Thank you Torrin. It looks lovely.” And then she was alone. She carefully took the plate, still smiling as she saw Torrin’s attempt to make some sort of breakfast sandwich. It was a sweet gesture to say the least. He didn’t have to get her anything, yet he did so. Taking the sandwich in her hands, she began to nibble it a bit at a time, not minding it being slightly lukewarm. It was substance after all.
