Chrono hadn't exactly come up with anything that he wanted to drink right away, nor after spending a bit thinking on it. He gave Qamar a wave of acknowledgment upon hearing her greet him and turned his attention to Take who had taken a seat next to him. He was a bit surprised to hear that there were packets here for making hot chocolate, but he supposed it didn't seem out of the ordinary for at least one of the masters here to have a taste for it. It was something to make note of at the very least. "Thanks for the heads up. How was your morning?"

And Enzo had ended up in the kitchen anyway.

Take should have known, probably would have been better off hiding somewhere without traffic. Seeing this guy sliding food into his bag without seeming to really be considerate towards others. The boy grabbed himself some food at was about to slowly start eating it when he made the eye contact with Enzo and looked away annoyed. When he asked the question Take cut into his food and said,
"I didn't sleep." he sliced the egg so the yoke kind of poured out onto everything and he started eating it that way. But he knew he was already eating too much. Fortunately Chrono seemed to ask a question and it made it easy for him to divert his attention from everything stressing him out and he said, "Um... it was a morning..." he paused a moment before asking, "Did you know the word example doesn't start with an x? Cause I didn't... it's not... that surprising I didn't but it was still odd to..." he drifted off when he realized others were probably listening in and sipped at his cocoa for a moment to cut himself off, once he was done he placed it down and asked, "Anyway um, how was yours?"

Qamar listened to Boreas about why she kept going back to Ravana. She questioned herself many times about that, in all honesty. She wondered why she ever went back to him, but Ravana would always remind her of the one thing he did to her. "I always thought that was how fathers were supposed to be. He was the only father I knew and I was a child. Only now that I'm older do I realize how messed up he was. I wish I had gotten away much sooner, but I always told myself that he loved me. That he would lash my back and force me to do errands for him because he actually cared for me. I'm older now and I've honestly seen what a true father-figure is supposed to be like, thanks to Master Stamatis and...countless books I read." she gave a light chuckle and scratched her head. Boreas was right, though. She should have gotten away sooner, but she never really thought about doing anything until...

"I doubt that, too. But I regret it fully. She was the only person I thought I could trust, seeing as she had a keyblade. 'We have that in common.' I thought. So I just followed like a good student and got away. Now, I want to go back and face my punishment. I know there is something waiting for me." she added, seeing the amused look Boreas had from her mentioning the ants previously. "This world isn't called Illusia for nothing." she chuckled. Tinarah addressed them to move to the dining room as breakfast was ready. Qamar nodded and looked to Boreas. "I answered your questions, so I wanna know some stuff. First off, I would be glad to know some more about you." she said, walking along with Boreas.

Once they were in the dining room, she saw nearly all the Masters had arrived to eat. Stiffening in the doorway, Qamar gave a bow. "Good morning Masters!" she said, smiling. "Although I'm surprised you're here Master Kide...." she muttered lowly. Enzo made his entrance and Qamar had a blank stare. "Stop sliding toast and eggs into your damn bag, Enzo." she chided him, doing a chopping motion on his head. "AND SHOW SOME RESPECT WHEN THERE ARE MASTERS AROUND." she spoke loudly.

"You're welcome." Kaio responded, turning towards the door now that Aria looked to be doing better. "Try not to have anymore nightmares. At least not until after we have gotten rid of your little infection." The man offered Aria a short bow of his head before unsealing the door and making his way out of her room.

Torrin entered the castle and looked over in the direction of the kitchen, hearing Qamar's voice ring out about showing respect to the masters. He blinked and tilted his head, wondering who she could be talking to. He shrugged it off and decided against going to the kitchen for now. After some conversation between Take and Illiana, and recovering his coat from Enzo, he wasn't keen on going to the kitchen just yet to be surrounded by so many people. Torrin continued to walk, intending to return his coat to his room.

His pace slowed down when he saw one of the Council members, Kaio, exit Aria's room. Torrin's eyes narrowed at the man as he approached the other master. "What happened? What were you doing?"

"There was a situation. I dealt with said situation. You may thank me at your earliest convenience." Kaio spoke simply.

"Or how about you be the first member of the Council to talk straight with me?" Torrin glared.

"Go ahead and speak with her yourself if you're so curious. Whatever you do, don't waste my time." Kaio kept walking without so much as looking at Torrin.

"Arrogant prick." Torrin spoke just loud enough for Kaio to hear but it did not cause the man to react. Kaio had not been the first Council member to give him a bad vibe and he was starting to wonder if that feeling was beginning to worsen. Torrin shook his head and looked over towards Aria's open door, wondering if she had been assaulted by yet another nightmare. He hadn't heard anything from her room all night and had assumed she had slept peacefully and left to the kitchen by now but given what Kaio had said...

After putting his coat away in his room he headed over towards Aria's and knocked on the door without taking a look inside in case she wanted privacy. He waited a moment before speaking up with concern. "You in there? What was that about? I saw Kaio leave and...well...is everything alright? Are you alright?"

Aria winced when Master Kaio referred to her nightmares as an infection. He was being brutally honest, but it made her feel self-conscious. She watched him leave the room and hugged her pillow tightly to her, frowning deeply as she stared down at the bed. How in the world were they supposed to get rid of this thing? And how could she stay awake? When would she be able to sleep normally again? All of this mixed with the worries of being a princess of heart and avoiding the Light Chaser was heavily weighing down her heart.

She then heard voices in the hallway, recognizing Master Kaio right away... The other one she figured she knew too, but she wasn't so sure. With Master Kaio gone, the heat left with him too. There was a slight draft in the room and she shivered as the cold felt like it went right through her. Scared to fall back asleep again, Aria tossed her pillow aside and scooted to get off the bed. She swung her legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, only to feel super light headed and the room swayed in her vision.
"Wh-whoa..." Aria sat down heavily again before the feeling went out of her legs and she held her head in her hands, taking in quiet breaths.

A knock jarred her out of her thoughts and she looked up to see Torrin standing there.
"Oh, Torrin. It's okay," she called to him. "You can come in..." She sat up a little as he walked in, trying to keep it together. She cleared her throat and then hugged herself, rubbing her arms to continue to bring back the feeling in them and stay warm. "I... wish I could say I'm fine... I had a nightmare again." She avoided looking at Torrin in the eye, and cleared her throat. "Can you... open the curtains and open the window...? I had them open earlier, but... Yeah, it had other ideas..."

Around her, the new guy was shoving food in a bag, and Qamar scolding him for it. Tinarah turned away not even wanting to get involved in that. While she didn't approve she was in no mood to argue. Purposely turning the other way, The masters were talking among themselves, but Take and Chrono sat a couple seats down from her. She didn't want to interrupt their conversation, but nor did she enjoy being the only one at the table not conversing with others. It made her feel more out of place than she usually did. She over heard Take mention something about example not starting with an X and that left her wondering how well he was schooled. Tinarah herself never finished school but she managed to do some work at home after she left school, and then again Stamatis had taught her a great deal. She perhaps would not ever be considered a graduate of even basic levels of school, but at least she knew how example was spelled. It did however leave her suddenly not wanting to jump in on the conversation where she felt she was missing context and it was more clearly aimed for just Chrono to hear.

He listened to what Qamar had to say regarding the person she saw as her father. And he kind of understood the naivety of a child but at the very least that that situation was very wrong and learned some more normalised ideas regarding the father figure. He wasn't sure how much she had seen and how much her claim based on books. Not that it mattered much to him, at the very least she seemed to have learned from the experience. He weighed what she said about leaving the Realm of Darkness, blindly following another master, given the circumstances he wasn't sure she would be punished for it even if people like her that had left or had the desire to do so had caused this war he had lost so much to, Boreas remained silent over the remarks and looked at her when she brought up her questions. "
Like what?" Boreas asked, he didn't think he lead a particularly interesting life, but he could be wrong.

With the breakfast prepared Boreas headed for the dining hall and helped himself to some bacon, eggs and hashbrowns to accompany his toast. He sat down at the long dining table and when Enzo looked at him Boreas simply glared back unflinching not answering the question, the guy then proceeded with shamelessly loading some of the prepared breakfast into a bag he was carrying and Boreas simply glared at him as Qamar decided to take matters into her own hand anddecided to yell at him for it. It amused him to no end that it was her of all people that was yelling at Enzo given his yelling at her during the fight against the chasers, he looked around the room and noted a couple of people were missing among them Torrin, Illiana and Aria. He didn't think too much of it as they all had woken up at different times before even the small group in the last world they had visited had different times. Greeting all the masters with a simple good morning was all Boreas did before digging into his breakfast.

When Torrin entered the room his eyes flashed gold before he pulled the curtains open to let in the light. "You're shivering." He commented, noticing Aria rubbing her arms to warm herself up. He turned towards her as he opened the window to let some fresh air in. "You didn't have that nightmare the last time you slept. Hm...I suppose it just kicks you when you're down." He stated bluntly. "I'm sorry." He spoke softly.

Torrin scratched the back of his head as he looked at Aria. "I don't know how to help you get rid of that but..." Torrin began to step closer towards Aria and knelt beside her, reaching for her hand. He lifted it up to look at her wrist where the bracelet that the Light Chaser had given her still remained. Where once it served to protect her from harm it now just remained as a stubborn piece of jewelry that would not come off and reacted strongly to darkness. With its defensive charm gone Torrin now believed he actually stood a chance of removing it. "Just don't freak out, alright?"

Once more his eyes shone as darkness swirled around his hands. "And don't squirm around. Take a deep breath and that bracelet will be off in a flash. Er...inverse flash? Whatever the opposite of a flash is." He shrugged slightly and gave the bracelet a tug. As expected it began to glow and heat up as he touched it. Torrin took in a deep breath and looked up at Aria for a moment before gazing back down at the bracelet. "Don't fail me now." He muttered under his breath. Black tendrils circled around his fingers as he drew upon more of his power. On reaction the bracelet continued to grow ever hotter and brighter in an effort to repel Torrin yet even as he felt the bracelet begin to burn him he gritted his teeth and pressed on.

The light from the bracelet began to engulf the room until the bracelet itself was no longer visible. Snap! The bracelet broke open and fell to the ground, cracked at where Torrin had pried it open. The darkness disappeared from his hands and Torrin fell back to sit on the floor. Though his hands and fingers bore new burns they were superficial. Torrin chuckled and stared at the broken bracelet. "Ha! Take that! I told you I could do it!" He exclaimed. "Finally...a small step in the right direction."

For a brief moment Chrono contemplated whether or not he should tell Take that he did know that example didn't start with an 'x', he didn't want to undermine his friends discovery, but seeing as he simply just cut himself off, Chrono opted to take the easy way out and just nod in agreement. He took the first bite out of his hash browns before answering Take's question. "Mine was okay, just spared with Master Thalassa." He realized he said that pretty casually which was not an accurate representation of what occurred during said sparring match. "I wanted some help getting familiar with my drive form and Thalassa happened to find me on my way to do so." Chrono then took another bite out of the hash browns in front of him before spotting his sister a few seats down motioned for her to come over.

"Or when I'm most vulnerable," Aria said softly under her breath, referring to the time with Quietus. She then saw movements in the corner of her eye and felt warm hands touch her own hand and looked to see Torrin examining the Light Chaser's Bracelet. "What are you...?" But then he told her not to freak out... which made her wonder what in the world he was going to do. His eyes suddenly turned golden and the darkness seemed to grow around his hands. Aria almost yanked her hand away in fear, but Torrin's voice stopped her from acting rash. She nodded her head and took in a shaky breath, trying to steady herself as her hand trembled in Torrin's grasp. They met eyes for a moment, and then Aria looked down at the bracelet to see it glowing hot. Soon Torrin's power increased as well as the intensitiy of the glow, and Aria had to look away and close her eyes. She heard a snap and then the light faded all together, followed by a thump on the floor. Aria opened her eyes, glancing down at her wrist while Torrin was cheering about breaking it off. Indeed, it was gone. It felt weird not having it there right next to Mika's friendship bracelet, but it was a good feeling.

"You... You did it." Aria breathed out with relief, rubbing her wrist as tears welled up in her eyes. She got off from the edge of the bed, kneeling on the ground as she gave Torrin a sudden tight hug. "Thank you," she half-whispered, her voice unsteady. She sat back on her heels and then her eyes landed on Torrin's hands, red from the heat and possibly burned. She sniffed and took his hands in her own, muttering the cure spell. Warm ribbons of green light wrapped around her hands before wrapping them around Torrin's, healing the wounds. "There... That's better." Aria forced a smile and then rubbed at her eyes to try to stop herself from crying. "Thank you so much, Torrin..." She sat back on her bottom, staring at the Light Chaser's bracelet now lifeless on the floor. "Master Kaio told me that belonged to someone close to the Light Chaser... Her name was Chryssa. She and the Light Chaser were students of Stamatis... and she was a princess of heart. Just like me. The Light Chaser was to keep her safe and had this for her... but something happened, and... she didn't make it. Not even with the protective spell on it..."

Aria rubbed at her eyes with the heel of her palm, grabbing a blanket from her bed and wrapped it around herself instead of getting up from the floor, placing some of it on her head like a hood of sorts.
"The nightmare... I couldn't scream... I was paralyzed. I couldn't move anything, and I kept seeing this small blue light here and there. Every time that blue light appeared, it got colder and colder... Master Kaio said Master Kide did something with the rooms, and they were keeping a close eye on me... He came in just in time and used some kind of heat magic to wake me up. He's going to tell Gra- Master Gero what happened..." Aria gripped the blanket tightly in her hand, fighting back the tears the best she could. "I don't know what to do, Torrin... I feel so helpless and vulnerable... I don't want to be a burden on anyone. I don't know why this is happening to me, where it came from... why it wants me. I'm scared..."

Take was a bit amused by the fact Chrono got a master to help him out with the form, but then again Take had asked for help with the magic at a ridiculous hour of the morning when Chrono might have picked a more reasonable time. He noticed Tinarah was looking over in their direction and listening in. He had no problem with that, but he didn't wanna stop eating the food and make Tinarah think it tasted bad. It tasted really good actually, but he knew he was eating far too much at this point and instead of being honest about it he kept on going before continuing with Chrono, "I've been trying to work a bit more on magic. I don't remember who threw the book at me but I've been trying to work on that..." he was never quite sure if Chrono ever caught on during training that he couldn't read or anything like that. He shifted through his bag quickly and pulled out his notebook and looked through it quickly, going through some pages before pulling out one page and plopping it on the table in a way for Chrono and Tinarah to see it and he placed his hands on the table and said, "I have a problem. So I am trying to help myself figuring out what it means and for the most part, most of these words are familiar to me..."

Take's notebook basically had very detailed drawings for each of the basic healing/buff spells. All of them seemed to be pretty set except one area which had the poorly written out "esuna, esunara, esunaga, esunaza" he looked between the two of them and pointed towards that page and said, "Eee-sun-ah? I don't know this word, I don't think I've heard it said, I am trying to give myself a visual guide to it and I get most of it but I cannot figure this one out at all." he looked a bit defeated and leaned his chin against the table and looked at the two and said, "Is this another case where you don't pronounce the first letter? Ssssuna? I don't know. The only people on my world who knew spells were the mages, and you had to be selected specially for that one. So if this is something basic that I should know I don't think I've got it. But I feel like I should know."

He pulled out the book about magic and brought it over to the page and looked at the book and tried to read out loud, "A c...curative spell t... that has the ca...capa... capacity to sooothe effects and in.... injuries. ...i.e, para...paralysis, poisons... or the in-a-bill-it-ee to cast spells." he tried to read it quieter but wasn't sure if anyone caught on or was listening to him sounding off like a toddler and he didn't like thinking about it. So he ignored it and he looked up from the book towards the siblings and admitted, "Half these words mean nothing to me, but it may be because I'm having trouble figuring out what these words are." he turned the book towards the two of them and rested his chin against the table again looking very defeated and asked, "Can you guys help?"

Tinarah noticed her brothers gaze, but didn't make a move to move down quite yet. She still wasn't sure if the conversation was anything that she should be listening in to. It wasn't until Take seemed to acknowledge her that Tinarah finally moved down a seat to properly join the conversation, nibbling slowly on her food at the same time. Take was trying to explain his troubles reading and his desire to learn magic, while Tinarah would not think herself a good teacher, she was decent with magic. Tinarah took the book that was on the table and gave it a look over.

"Esuna. you pronounce it Esuna. But I suppose the spelling is a little weird." Tinarah tried to make Take feel better about not figuring it out himself. "If it makes you feel better Take, I didn't finish school myself, and not because I left home. I dropped out after an injury left me in the hospital for a while and too scared to leave home. I learned a little more of the basics, but really Stamatis taught me everything else I needed to know. I am still not one to read for pleasure though." While she could read fine, she herself was slow at it and took her time to get through books.

"If you want help with magic, I can certainly try. I am no master, but I would like to say that I do a decent job of it. If you want help reading though... I think Chrono might be a better teacher than I am." Tinarah admitted, the idea of having to read out loud to him to help didn't sit well. Tinarah just figured she would mess up numerous times and confuse Take more. Reading in her head was one thing, but perhaps it was her confidence, but when it came to reading out loud, she constantly stumbled over the words she was trying to say.

As agitated as Enzo was with being hit on the head, he had to keep any resentment with a minimum here. He still didn't know much about them, and they didn't know a lot about him. And that's the way he wanted to keep it for now. After a quick eye twitch, goosebumps when down from his head to his feet before going back up again. He looked up with a polite smile after being chopped in the noggin and took a slice of toast off the table. "You're a loud one huh?" He shoved the piece of toast into her mouth. "And it seems you have food in your mouth now, so no more of that talking. It's rude to chew with your mouth open y'know?" He closed his eyes, still smiling. "And we're in the presence of masters after all, so no talking until you're done chewing that food missy!" He grabbed the top of her head and bottom of her chin, playfully getting her to chew the food he had just stuffed into her mouth. "Munch munch munch," he said, smiling. He moved away from the loud girl in order to do a small bow in front of the masters at the table. "I'm terribly sorry for not introducing myself. Most everyone looks alike to me here, so I just kind of assume you're all of the same kind of light," he said scratching the back of his head while he openly laughed.

"Oomph!" He grunted when she quickly hugged him and pulled back. Torrin looked at his hands after Aria healed them and lowered them to the floor. "Don't mention it. I'm just glad I helped." He rubbed the back of his neck and took in a deep breath.

Once Aria was done with her explanation with what had happened while Kaio "dealt with the situation" Torrin scooted in closer and placed a hand on Aria's shoulder. "Maybe...back there Kaio was right. You're really not that bright. Are you?" Torrin shook his head. "You're no burden. You're just not. There's no one here who would even think that you are. Now...I might not be able to get rid of those nightmares for you but I can help you help yourself. Just trust me on that, alright? We'll get you through this I promise."

"But there is something I think you should know..." He shifted and moved over from in front of her to sit beside Aria. "Remember back when we got the stuffings kicked out of us by Quietus and I sort of accidentally dropped in on your nightmare?" In truth, he had almost forgotten about this detail himself but Aria wondering why it came after her reminded him of it. "Well that nightmare showed me some stuff that I'm pretty sure actually happened to you. I...I think I saw your parents. It was fuzzy but your homeworld was being ravaged by darkness and your mother was hit pretty bad." He paused as he tried to remember anything else about it. There wasn't much to go off on and there were only a few details he was sure on. "The thing seemed to imply that it found its way to you when that happened. It's been with you since you were born. I know that doesn't make you feel better but I'd rather tell you what I know that keep you in the dark. But...this might actually be a good thing. The fact that it took so long for it start manifesting like this proves that it's not as powerful as it wants you to believe. And you know what that means? It means it can be beaten."

Food was stuffed into her mouth and Qamar was being ridiculed for it. She swallowed hard on the toast and clenched her fists. "I'd be careful about making fun of people." she warned Enzo. "And don't be so pompous, nobody likes that." she pointed out, turning around and walked to sit next to Boreas after grabbing her own helping of food. She grumbled to herself and stared at her plate. As hungry as she was, Enzo's way of handling things made her want to punch him. "Yeah, we're gonna need to probably get started on training later because right now I want to punch Enzo in the face." she said, looking at Boreas.

"And to answer what I want to know about you, I mean I wanna know things like, about you, your life, what you've done. That sort of stuff." she said, finally biting down on her bacon. She saw the way Enzo was trying to butter up the Masters and she already knew that wasn't going to end well. "Honestly, the way Enzo is, he's going to get shown his place by Master Kaio if he doesn't calm down." she said.

"Well that's not very nice," Aria mumbled towards Torrin's comment of her not being so bright. "I seem to be hearing that a lot lately," she sighed out. She fell silent when Torrin placed a hand on her shoulder and she forced herself to look up at him. She nodded her head when he asked her if she remembered the day when Quietus attacked and knocked them both out. She listened as he spoke, her lips and eyebrow creased in concentration. Her aunt and uncle hadn't spoke much of her parents, or where she came from originally. It was always hushed hushed, and hardly ever did Aria think to ask to dive deep into her previous life before being on the farm. She was told she was barely a few days old when she came to Aunt Anja and Uncle Lanar. But to hear the possibility her mother was attacked by darkness and Aria herself was born with what hit her mother made sense to her. "That explains so much... I've been having the nightmares since I can remember. My aunt told me I had them ever since I was barely a year old. The thing would just make my dreams have a creepy vibe and only got creepier and scary as the years went on..."

She took in a deep breath through her nose and adjusted the blanket around her.
"If it can really be beaten... that'd make my life ten times easier right now," she said with a hint of a smile. "How can you help me help myself...?"

Boreas just watched the situation between Enzo and Qamar play out, Enzo seemed like the person intent on infuriating every single person he encountered, Boreas sincerely hoped he wouldn't have to deal with it too much or that the bloke changed his ways. Qamar scolded him some more before she came back his way and sat down beside him with her breakfast. Boreas hadn't waited for her to begin digging in. Qamar mentioned wanting to punc Enzo in the face and he understood that sentiment, almost blurting out that she should do it, but he restrained himself. She then proceeded to clarify that she wanted to know things about him, about his life. "I can't fathom why you would possibly be interested in any of that, but I'll humour you." Boreas said, a lie, she probably wanted to learn of her home by looking at what his life was like and thought for a moment what to say. "I trained under a keyblade Master just like you and well when the majority of my training was completed my duties brought me elsewhere and I have served in the army since then, fighting on the front on numerous occasions over the course of several years and.well the reason I am here was cause we found a lost Master Atmos that I was to help back to the Realm of Light. She was charged with returning Torrin, I made a request to aide in such endeavour which was granted and reasoned the quickest way would be to win this war he has walked into." Boreas explained, not really going into meeting Torrin again or what transpired in the past between the two of them.

"Training. A lot of it." He answered simply. "That thing will just use you as a shield if I fight it but if you do? Then you have a shot of destroying it. We just need to make sure that when you take your shot, it counts." Torrin looked over at Aria, giving her a reaffirming nod as he smiled faintly. "I even know the perfect place." He added, thinking back to short conversation he had earlier with Kidemonas.

"You don't need to keep being scared. We can handle this. You can handle this." He assured her. "Hm..." He leaned back and rubbed his cheek. Torrin shifted a bit in place as he wondered what more there was to say now that they had a plan...or at least some semblance of a plan. "So..." He exhaled. "Back before all of this...what exactly was life like for you? What'd you do for fun?"

She was starting to feel a little better talking with Torrin. She still wondered if she was going to be a problem, but if Torrin could sit with her and talk her out of her degrading thoughts, then she figured others could be patient too. Even though Master Kaio said she had an infection with the nightmare. "I grew up on a farm," Aria said with a shrug of her shoulders. "It was a very simple life... We raised chocobos, and we grew grain and hay." She rested her chin on her knees, snuggling in the warmth of the blankets that were wrapped around her. "I used to help out around the farm all the time. And when we had pests or predators, like the wrenfel I talked about a while ago, I helped keep the workers and the chocobos safe from them."

She found a loose thread on her blanket and fiddled with it between her fingers, thinking back to those days. It seemed like so long ago even though it only had been a year.
"What I did for fun... I used to ride my chocobo out on the farm, sometimes to hills and plateau swhere I could watch over everything and see the storms rolling in, or the sunsets and sunrises. His name was Dubble, my chocobo I mean. Usually chocobos have really fluffy yellow feather,s but Dubble had brown and cream colors mixed in his feathers." A small smile was starting to form on her lips as she talked about her previous life. "I used to play the flute a lot... well, I played it too at Master Choma's castle. That, and pan pipes. I liked to cook and bake too with my Aunt Anja. She taught me how to sew and make jewlery. That's why I make so many bracelets. It just... calms me. Sometimes I make art pieces too with nature... Just silly stuff." She looked over at Torrin. "Soooo, what did you do for fun? You told me you tried to ride this huge griffon heartless before. What else did you do? And where did you get that coat," she asked, pointing at the article of clothing Torrin had on.

As Chrys assimilated the new information, she found herself glaring at Fost. It seemed this man had been her former masters' mentor, though that was quite a thing to let slip so casually to someone you were interrogating. Despite what her fuzzy, glowing... 'friend' had said, learning to pick up on the hidden value of words was hardly something she could do overnight. So what value did this information have? Was it true, or false? Had he really just let it slip, or was he about to weave a sob story about why she should join their side.

It'd be quite Ironic if she finally met someone who was willing to talk after she had decided to wash her hands of it.

"That's none of your concern." Snapping might not be the best idea, but he had no reason to know about her life. In fact, telling anyone about her life had decidedly not gone well for her so far. To that end, having some heart to heart with a man who just threatened her and may or may not be trying to otherwise manipulate her emotionally was decidedly... a rather distasteful idea.

"Just ask me what you want to know. Isn't that how interrogations are supposed to work?"
