Sephiroth strode silently through the Dark City, Masamune held reversed in his right hand.

I should not have let them inconvenience me, Sephiroth thought, I know Cloud is here.

Someone whistled behind him. Sephiroth stopped.

"Hello, Sephiroth," the person behind him said, "You may not know me, but I have an offer for you."

Sephiroth smiled patronisingly, "Is that so?" Sephiroth spun and drew Masamune, striking down. There was the clash of metal on metal, and the katana was stopped. By a mere pen? Sephiroth's eyebrows met in annoyance and Yaoi Sue smiled.

"That's right, Sephy-kun. I have a plan, and I want you in on it," Yaoi continued. Sephiroth grunted.

"Oh, don't you know? I'm Yaoi Sue. I can control ANY canon character, whoever they are, and bend them to my will. isn't it delightful?" Yaoi explained happily, "But I knwo you'll want to help me. Help me, and not only do you get Cloud, you get Sora, Riku, Kairi and Zack."

Sephiroth removed Masamune from the weapon lock, slowly returning it to its 'sheathed' position in his right hand, "I'm listening..."

Great updates. Just one thing bothers me. It is about Sephiroth. Look at what my sig says. You make it sound like he is right-handed.

 

OoC: Actually, I've gone to great pains to show that Sephiroth is left-handed. During the Sephiroth battle he "guarded with Masamune vertical, his right forearm supporting the blade". As you may have noticed in KH2, when Sephiroth isn't using Masamune he holds it in his right hand like a knife and 'draws' it by switching to his left hand.

IC: A sleek black motorbike drove through the Dark City. Cloud Strife peered through his sunglasses at the surrounding city as he drove. He could feel Sephiroth here. Something else reached his ears. He heard the scream of fangirls as Roxas finished 'Beautiful Soul', and was intrigued. He steered Fenrir towards the source.

"Yes yes yes!" Yaoi Sue squealed, hopping up and down like an excited schoolgirl as she spotted Cloud riding Fenrir.

"So you persuaded Sephiroth?" Mary Sue's voice echoed from within a corridor of darkness.

"Yeah, he's in position right now," Yaoi answered, "You sure you don't want Cloud-kun?"

"No," Mary's disembodied voice replied, still managing to sound terrifying, "Only Sora will be mine.

"Right, we just need a little of your time to set up for the next numbers," Demyx told the crowd over the loudspeakers, "Here to entertain you during the interval is the group Three Days Heartless with their single Riot. Thanks, have a rocking night everybody!"

Sora munched on a chocolate bar he'd secreted from somewhere. Riku was busy dodging fangirls and Kairi was deep in conversation with Namine. Zack and Aerith had moved off to a secluded corner for some Deep and Meaningfuls. Sora halted his destruction of his chocolate as he heard a motor engine undercutting the dull roar of the fangirls/fanboys. Sora looked in its direction to see another welcome sight.

"CLOUD!" Sora yelled, pocketing his chocolate and racing over to Cloud. Kairi and Namine noticed him leave. Kairi shrugged at Namine.

"Cloud, what's up?" Sora asked. Cloud took off his sunglasses and pocketed them.

"Sephiroth's here," Cloud said bluntly, "Have you seen him?"

Sora's grin dropped off his face instantly, "Yeah, we fought him. Come on Cloud, can't you just relax?"

"He's eveything dark in me," Cloud replied, "I thought you of all people would understand something like that."

"Sure I do," Sora pressed earnestly, "But that doesn't mean that you should just ignore your friends. Come on, you owe it to yourself to kick back just for a bit."

Cloud stared blankly at Sora, obviously considering the offer. Cloud cut the motor of Fenrir and flicked the kickstand up, stepping off the bike. As soon as his boots touched the ground, hundreds of fangirls pricked their ears up. Ignoring the group of Heartless performing before them, they turned as one.

"CLOUD-KUN!" They squealed in unison and charged him. Both Sora and Cloud were like rabbits in headlights.

"Quick, this way!" Sora commanded, yanking Cloud's arm towards a small entrace backstage. Darting this way and that between groups of working Moogles he managed to lose the fangirls. Unfortunately for Sora, his memory had failed him, leading him to bring Cloud out of the gloom and into the brigth stage lights.

"CLOUD-KUN!" the fans screamed as one.

"Silence!" a cold voice cut through the screams. Though nowhere near a shout it cut through the screams and silenced the fans. Sephiroth glided slowely down to the stage on a black-feathered wing. The Three Days Heartless group seemed about to react when Sephiroth destroyed them all in a single, casual swipe.

"Sephiroth!" Cloud yelled, unsheathing the First Tsurugai. It was still wrapped in bandages.

"Good to see you, Cloud," Sephiroth replied in a little bit of ripped-from-Advent-Children goodness.

"No more running, Sephiroth!" Cloud said with no possibility for argument, "Today we settle this. Right here, right now!"

Sephiroth chuckled. It was a low, humourless sound.

"What's so funny?" Sora interjected angrily.

"To think that an abomination like you would order me around," Sephiroth chuckled.

"Cloud's not an abomination!" Sora argued.

"On the contrary," Sephiroth countered, never breaking eye contact with Cloud, "He shouldn't even exist."

"What're you saying?" Cloud asked, the anger and forcefullness from before gone.

"What I am saying, Cloud," Sephiroth answered slowly, "Is that you are my Nobody."

 

Sorry I thought you had meant that he was holding it with his right arm.

OoC: Oh, to think that this gem of brilliance has lain desolate for so long! [/sarcasm]

IC: Cloud was thunderstruck. He stood completely still, like a statue, unable to contemplate what Sephiroth had said.

"That's impossible!" Sora yelled, waving the Oblivion Keyblade threateningly, "Cloud's a person!" Sick of Sephiroth's lies, he charged the One Winged Angel, leaping to strike down. Sephiroth didn't even raise Masamune. He struck Sora in the face with a thunderous right backhand that sent the teen sprawling across the ground, punch-drunk.

"Oh, I can convince you," Sephiroth continued, not breaking eye contact with Cloud, "Do you remember why I destroyed Nibelheim?"

"You just went insane. You killed my mother, you hurt Tifa!" Cloud interjected, sounding as if he was torn.

"The truth is, I discovered Shinra's experiments on the Heart. The Nibelheim reactor was one of the bases for their opperations. When I was young, they chose me as their first experiment. They split my heart from my body, and you were created. However, they were able to purify my heart and restore me. Shinra believe that you would be the ultimate soldier, a mirror-image of my greatness. But you disappointed them. You were unremarkable. So they simply left you to die," Sephiroth explained, a mirthless smile on his face.

"But... Zack knew me," Cloud argued half-heartedly, "He knows that I'm-"

"Human?" Sephiroth finished, "The only person capable of verifying your story is dead. How convenient..."

"Shut up!" Cloud yelled. Sephiroth chuckled.

"Now all I must do is clense the worlds of this abomination!" Sephiroth charged Cloud. Cloud brought the First Tsurugai up, the blades meeting in a shower of multicoloured sparks. They exchanged furious blows, all silent as they watched the fateful duel. Soon the fight took to the skies, Sephiroth rising on his black-feathered wing. Cloud raced up the side of Memory's Skyscraper.

"I've thought of a wonderful present for you," Sephiroth told Cloud idly. Cloud launched himself from the wall and at Sephiroth. Their blades locked.

"Shall I give you despair?" He continued, shoving Cloud so hard that he shot towards Memory's Skyscraper. Cloud jabbed the First Tsurugai into the wall, balancing precariously on the blade. He looked up to see Sephiroth hovering several stories above him.

"On your knees, I want you to beg for mercy," Sephiroth ordered Cloud. He turned around and slashed the air, Masamune creating a blade beam. The attack raced through the top of Memory's Skyscraper. With a thunderous rumble, the top section of the skyscraper began to slide down towards Cloud. Sephiroth smiled at him and sliced a passageway to escape through.

Cloud reached down and pressed a switch on the First Tsurugai. The edge of the blade split away from the main body, revealing itself to be a sword in its own right. Cloud stamped down on the hilt of the main sword, levering it away from the edge until it completely sliced through the handguard. Cloud pulled the edge from the wall and held it in his left hand. He wrenched the First Tsurugai from the wall in his right and began to run up Memory's Skyscraper. Using the duel blades, he hacked through the debris on his journey upwards.

Suddenly, Sephiroth sliced through a huge slab of the skyscraper and clashed with Cloud, the duelling pair shooting to earth like meteors. They landed with a crash on the stage, Cloud battered and tired. The fans had moved away from the stage. Cloud was sitting against a slab of debris, the two swords lying on the ground. The fans screamed for Cloud to get up and fight.

"Cloud!" A familiar voice called.

"Tifa... no..." Tifa Lockhart forged through the crowd towards the stage.

"Cloud, I can help you!" she exclaimed, "We can beat him!" She was about to race closer, but Aerith stopped her.

"Hm, your woman cares for you," Sephiroth noticed, "Maybe I should take care of an annoyance."

"No!" Cloud exclaimed weakly, but it was too late. Sephiroth slashed, and the blade beam shot towards Tifa and the rest as if in slow motion. He had failed them...

The beam was cut in half, the two sections dissipating harmlessly. Zack Fair raised the Buster Sword.

"SOLDIER 1st class Zack Fair on the job," Zack announced.

"ZACK!" Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa and Aerith exclaimed, with varying degrees of surprise.

"Hmph," Sephiroth dismissed, "You achieved nothing, Fair."

He stabbed Cloud.

OoC: Yes, I am aware that I copied Advent Children. The next chapter probably will too. I am not original!

OoC: GRAAAHHGG, I MUST FINISH THE SCENE!

IC: Cloud cried out in pain. Masamune had impaled him to the debris, the blade sinking into his shoulder. Cloud weakly grasped at the blade.

"Cloud!" Zack, Tifa and Aerith yelled.

"Cloud, you've got to pull it together!" Zack ordered.

"I'm just... a Nobody..." Cloud panted. Sephiroth let go of Masamune's handle and turned to face the three.

"He can't deny what he is," Sephiroth told them triumphantly.

"Cloud!" Zack called, "I don't know if you're a Nobody, but I just don't care! No matter what you are, you're my friend, you always were! Don't you remember?"

Zack held up the Buster Sword, Cloud's eyes drawn to the blade, "Hold onto your dreams! If you want to be a hero, you have to hold on to your dreams! And if you have dreams, then you have a heart!"

"Remember, Cloud?" Tifa said, "In Radient Garden? I gave you my light. I know you can find it."

Sephiroth smirked, "It's useless," He turned and, grasping Masamune, shoved the blade deeper. Cloud cried out as Sephiroth twisted the blade.

"Tell me what you cherish most," Sephiroth said, "Give me the pleasure of taking it away."

Tifa, Aerith, Zack! He wouldn't let them down!

Cloud grabbed the blade of Masamune with his free hand. With a grunt of rage he lifted Sephiroth bodily by the blade of his weapon, hurling him across the stage. Cloud picked up his blades, ignoring his shoulder wound, and combined them into one.

"I pity you," Cloud said as Sephiroth regained his footing, "You just don't get it at all."

He charged. Sephiroth flipped over him, landing against Memory's Skyscraper. Cloud jumped after him. Sephiroth launched away from the wall, rising on his wing. Cloud pursued him. The fans that had seen Advent Children forced the others away from the area beneath Cloud.

"THERE'S NOT A THING I DON'T CHERISH!" Cloud yelled, bringing the First Tsurugai up. Sephiroth swung down with Masamune to block the blow. Cloud's sword glowed with bright light, and the blades met. Something clicked within the First Tsurugai, and the bandages that bound it were torn apart. The sword split with explosive force into five smaller swords and a core blade that Cloud held. Sephiroth hovered in the air, shocked. Cloud, glowing with bright light, dashed across the sky, leaving gold after-images. He slashed through Sephiroth again and again, grabbing his blades out of the air as he went, combining them until he once again held the First Tsurugai. Cloud rose above Sephiroth and struck down with incredible force.

Cloud hit the ground, unarmed. The five swords stabbed themselves into the ground around him and Cloud caught the sixth sword as it fell.

"Stay where you belong," Cloud murmured, "In my memories."

"I wil... Never be a memory," Sephiroth forced in a strained voice. He seemed to be losing height.

"Then you'll never be whole," A voice called. All eyes turned to the owner. Namine.

"Nobodies are only half a person, doomed to fade back into darkness. It doesn't have to be the way you think, Sephiroth!" Namine called earnestly, "Just let go. Stop running. You'll be whole again."

"I... I..." Sephiroth stuttered. He dropped Masamune, the katana disappearing in a flash of energy. He gave a final sigh and went limp, dropping quickly out of the air. He began to dissolve, and before he hit the ground was nothing but ash. An unseen breeze blew these ashes towards Cloud, and he gave a shuddering breath.

"It's ok," Tifa assured him, a hand on his shoulder, "You're still you. You always were."

She sighed, "So, run out of excuses to run?"

"TIfa, I-" Cloud began, but was cut off as Tifa kissed him. On the lips. Cloud's eys widened in horror. As she broke away, he averted his face.

"Are you blushing?" Tifa asked, astonished.

"No," Cloud denied furiously. Tifa grabbed Cloud by the sweater collar and dragged him away for a deep and meaningful conversation. Cloud made eye contact with Zack and it was as if his eyes were screaming for mercy. Zack grinned and shook his head. As the noncommital Cloud was dragged away, Aerith grabbed Zack's arm.

"Guess you've both been forced to stay, huh?" Aerith observed.

"I think Cloud'll turn around after a couple of beatings," Zack replied.

Sora woke up, groggy, "Whuh? Whut happened?"

Kairi dragged the boy to his feet and dusted him off, "Just as much of a lazy bum as usual. Cloud finished his fight while you were snoozing."

"Aw man! I have to talk to him!" Sora made to run off, but Kairi grabbed his hood. Sora made a choking sound and was wrenched back.

"Don't you go anywhere," Kairi told him, "We have things to discuss."

Zack laughed aloud as he saw a struggling Sora being dragged away by Kairi.

Yaoi Sue, standing on a skyscraper next to the concert stage, stifled a scream of frustration. Not only had Sephy-kun failed in both his duties (one of them to be getting it on with Cloud), the rest of the canon characters were now going off on their merry way with their pairings. Yaoi clenched a fist on her pen and leaped off the skyscraper, landing neatly on the ground in the concert ground.

"Who're you?" Sora asked, mildy glad that the new interruption was giving him a chance to evade Kairi.

"That's it!" Yaoi exclaimed, "I've played by the rules so far. I sent little flunkies to do the fighting, but I am sick of how you just bounce back!"

Yaoi reached into her shoulder bag and produced a threatening black notebook, "Time to play rough."

She opened her Yaoi Note.

"Wait, stop!" Sora yelled, summoning Oblivion and charging her.

"Sora stopped in his tracks and desummoned the Keyblade," Yaoi recited as she wrote, "His eyes were drawn to those of his true love, Riku."

"Sora!" Riku called desperately as Sora looked over at him, a blank look on his face.

"He called, 'Riku my love, how I've waited for us to be together!" Yaoi continued, and Sora recited his dialogue emotionlessly, "And Riku felt the love as well, and he dove into Sora's open arms."

Riku's face lost all emotion and both he and Sora began to jerkily approach each other, arms outstretched and stiff.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?" Roxas yelled. Yaoi fixed him in her gaze and smiled like a vampire.

"Of course little Roku, how could I forget?" Yaoi said, and wrote again, "As Sora and Riku were united in love, Axel noticed his love Roxas. And he called, 'Roxas! We can be together again!' And Axel raced for his love. Roxas returned the embrace, whispering his affections for Axel."

Axel faithfully delivered his lines and skipped towards Roxas like an ungreased robot. Roxas stared at Axel with confusion on his face. Yaoi's eyebrows met.

"I wrote 'Roxas returned the embrace, whispering his affections for Axel,' you twit!" Yaoi called.

"So?" Roxas answered angrily, "That doesn't mean I'll do it you insane hag!"

Why isn't my Yaoi Note working on him? Yaoi thought furiously, Oh well, more Soriku for everyone! Yaoi turned back to Sora and Riku, the two now hugging each other tightly.

"I always start with a bit of fluff," Yaoi explained evilly, "And now for the hard stuff-"

"What's going on?" Steve Burton's voice - err, Cloud's voice - rang out across the square. He and Tifa stood at one of the entrances, Cloud wielding the First Tsurugai and Tifa with her hands up.

Yaoi grinned evilly, writing again in her Note, "And so Cloud forgot the bland and uninteresting Tifa to find his one true desire, Zack-" Yaoi again noticed her subjects noncompliance. Cloud met her gaze with a steely reply.

"WHAT THE PH IS GOING ON?" Yaoi screamed, now enraged. She noticed Zack and Aerith watching, the former pointing the Buster Sword at her. Yaoi calmed herself.

"Half of a pairing is better than none," she said as she wrote in her Yaoi Note. Zack dropped the Buster Sword and walked stiffly towards Cloud, muttering romantic drivel. Roxas, Cloud and Tifa prepared to engage Yaoi Sue, Aerith bringing up the rear with her staff and curative magic, Kairi was attempting to wrest Sora from Yaoi's control.

"Sora, snap out of it!" she ordered desperately. Sora muttered something offensive about her and resumed hugging Riku. Kairi tried Riku, with a similar result.

Meanwhile, Yaoi was battling the three fighters, her pen now lengthened and taking on the appearance of a sword. She noticed Kairi's attempts and smirked, taking refuge from the fighters and opening her Yaoi Note again.

"Sora noticed the hussy prude Kairi trying to ruin his love," Yaoi recited, "So he did the fandom a favour and slapped the skank one."

Sora's pupils shrank to tiny pinpoints at this command. With exaggerated stiffness, he backhanded Kairi to the floor.

"Sora," she cried, tears springing uncontrollably in her eyes, "Come back."

Kairi hugged Sora, the boy ignoring her touch. Yaoi watched the scene, rejoicing in the destruction of Kairi's spirit. And, with a casual wave, knocked over all four of her enemies.

"That's right, call your hero, you useless brat!" Yaoi spat, "Everyone knows that you can't do a thing! You're just a puppet to the plot, completely bone-idle, useless!"

Kairi hugged Sora tighter, tears running down his black jacket. I've always been useless. There has to be something I can do! I have to save him. I have to! Because I...

"Sora," Kairi whispered, "I...I..." She couldn't quite bring herself to say it, "I really like you." And she kissed him on the cheek. She stepped back as Sora went completely stiff, like a corpse. A bright scarlet blush surfaced on his cheek where she ahd kissed him. It slowly spread across his skin until it covered his entire body. He slowly reached up and touched the spot.

"A girl kissed me..." Sora whispered, "A real girl... kissed me."

Yaoi stifled another scream of frustration, "What is this? Why is everyone breaking out of my control?"

"Because, Yaoi," Namine explained, blushing as she did so, "They've had true love's first kiss."

Everyone was silent. Especially so were Roxas and Namine, both staring at each other in total shock. Neither of them had come to terms with their relationship, since it had always been on-hiatus between crush and BFF. Sora's blush intensified as he realised what Kairi had done. He turned slowly to face her.

"I'm a Princess of Heart," Kairi blurted out, "That's what did it." They both knew this was a lie.

Yaoi glared at Sora, "Oh well. I suppose I'll have to focus on other pairings besides yours. Too bad I won't get to hear to sing." She snapped her fingers, "Wait, why not have a good soundtrack for your defeat?"

Yaoi opened the Yaoi Note once more, "Riku walked to the stage and took up the microphone. The Organization band members took their places and started Breaking a Habit." The characters followed her commands blindly.

"Sora," Kairi caught Sora's sleeve as he summoned Oblivion, "She beat all four of your friends, she could be too strong for you!"

"Don't worry, Kairi," Sora assured with a confident grin, "I'm the main character. There's no way a one-dimensional villain lacking any backstory at all like her could take me out." At these words Yaoi growled in anger.

"Let's begin," she ordered, lengthening her pen to sword form. Riku and the band began to play.

 

Sora and Yaoi clashed together, their weapons throwing up a multicoloured shower of sparks. The two combatants spun and slashed, neither halting the furious duel. Cloud, Tifa, Roxas and Aerith raced in to join the fray.

â€Memories consume,†Riku sang onstage, entranced Organization members accompanying him with their instruments, â€Like opening the wound.â€

Yaoi sidestepped a lunge and backflipped away from the following Keyblade slash. At the end of the flip she used her remaining momentum to leap into the air. Sora followed her as Cloud crashed into her, the First Tsurugai locked against her pen.

Kairi watched the battle. Something inside her had been brought out after she saved Sora, and as she watched Yaoi simultaneously block strikes from Sora and Cloud, she realized what she could do. She raced through the crowd, shoving stunned fans aside as she went. She skidded to a stop next to Namine.

“Namine,†Kairi panted, “Do you have a laptop?â€

â€You all assume, I’m safe here in my room unless I try to start again,†Riku continued. Yaoi used her free arm to support her pen-blade as the weapons of Cloud, Sora and Roxas all collided with it at the same time. The force knocked Yaoi across the sky, towards one of the buildings. She just managed to right herself and land feet-first on the wall.

“I could help you, my dear,†Mary said to herself, standing atop Memory’s Skyscraper, “But I’m pretty interested as to how you’ll handle yourself. If they’re too much trouble, maybe I’ll step in.â€
Yaoi stood on a narrow windowsill and produced her Yaoi Note once more, her weapon shrinking back to a pen.

Zack noticed his love Cloud fighting the beautiful Yaoi Sue, and he felt rage. His true love had ignored him, broken his heart. He would show him. Zack readied the Buster Sword and charged Cloud, ready to knock aside the airhead Aerith in the process. Axel too noticed his love ignoring him, and he joined Zack in his assault... HEY! BAD YAOI, no hijacking the story!

Yaoi smiled evilly as she saw Cloud and Roxas break off to defend against the other half of their pairings. That left Sora and the two airheads.

“No worthless prudes allowed!†Yaoi called. She released a devastating ring of energy that blasted out from her. Sora raised the Keyblade to defend himself, lowering the weapon in surprise as the attack simply passed through him. He glanced back in time to see Aerith and Tifa hurled to the floor, unconscious.

“ I don’t want to be the one the battles always choose,†Riku continued, oblivious to the battle, “‘Cause inside I realize that I’m the one confused.â€

“It’s just you and I, Sora,†Yaoi confirmed, “Believe me, I’m a lot stronger than I look.â€

To punctuate this, Yaoi lengthened her pen once more and began to slash the air. Each strike released a curved blade over energy that blasted towards Sora. He leaped into the air, hurtling towards Yaoi. He raised the Keyblade in defence as the first of the barrage struck him. The blades released huge clouds of dense smoke as they detonated against Sora, enshrouding the Keyblade Master in an impenetrable fog.

â€I don’t know what’s worth fighting for,†Riku sang as Sora blasted out of the cloud, his sleeves trailing lines of ash. Yaoi only just managed to raise her weapon in time to defend herself.

â€Or why I have to scream,†Riku continued, the music providing a backdrop for the duel. Sora and Yaoi rose higher and higher up the skyscraper as they fought, soon the most the fans could see were the multicoloured sparks of their weapons colliding.

At ground zero, Kairi had just booted up Namine’s laptop. Namine looked over Kairi’s shoulder.
“What’re you doing?†Namine asked as Kairi opened the internet browser.

“If she can break the fourth wall,†Kairi answered intensely, “Why can’t we?†She had opened FanFiction.net.

Meanwhile, up above, Yaoi knew that she was beginning to lose the upper hand. Sora was an experienced fighter, and Yaoi knew hand-to-hand combat wasn’t her forte. Yaoi leaped backwards and higher into the air for some breathing room. Sora used the Aerial Dodge technique to follow her, spinning so rapidly that he gained height. Yaoi channelled her powers into her weapon, flames of energy rolling down the blade. She brought her sword down in a powerful strike that, despite Sora’s raised Keyblade, sent the Keyblade master hurtling to earth. By the time Sora could use the Aerial Recovery, he was already almost at ground level. Sora felt a few errant gusts of wind and managed to use Glide to float safely down the last few metres.

“Sora!†Kairi called, “What’s your favourite video game?â€

“Is this the time, Kairi?†Sora replied, casting Thundaga. Yaoi dashed laterally to avoid the forked bolt of lightning.

“Just trust me, Sora!†Kairi insisted, opening a tab in Wikipedia and a Microsoft Word document, “It has to be an action game, by the way!â€

“Uhh,†Sora thought and said the first thing that popped into his head, “Metal Gear Solid?†It had been released recently; ergo it was his first thought.

“Got it!†Kairi confirmed, searching for MGS on Wikipedia. She soon found its page and found the corresponding page for the main character, Solid Snake. She cross-referenced FanFiction.net.

“Damnit!†she muttered, “No-go, he’s half a pairing...†She desperately searched the rest of the character archives of the MGS series, opening another tab to Kh-vids.net as she did so. Meanwhile, Yaoi sent another barrage of blade beams down at Sora.

“REFLECT!†Sora yelled, flourishing the Oblivion Keyblade. A translucent, geometric shield flashed into existence and absorbed the force of the strikes. As the shield faded away, it explosively discharged the energy. Sora began to run up the skyscraper towards Yaoi, who was charging down to meet him.

“Just defending, Sora? You’re as bad as Goofy,†Yaoi taunted.

“Even Goofy’s a better fighter than you!†Sora retorted.

“Modulating Phase,†Zack’s DMW announced, the small PSP going unnoticed. On its screen the three bars were scrolling again. The first two lined up at the portrait of Goofy, a one and a two respectively. The screen flashed as the third bar slowed.

â€We’ve gotta protect the World Border!â€

â€The key!â€

“Sora ain’t going anywhere!â€

“What do you think that there door to the light was?â€

“You’re coming with us whether ya want to or not!â€

“Brave Shot, level 1,†the DMW read.

Sora flashed with an explosion of white light. Yaoi squinted at the light, hurriedly raising her weapon to defend as the Oblivion Keyblade swung down. To her shock, the Star Seeker also swung across. Yaoi manoeuvred her weapon with difficulty and managed to block both Keyblades. The light cleared to reveal Sora in his Valour Form clothes, holding the Star Seeker in his left hand. Sora grinned at her as Riku hit the chorus far below them.

“Take this!†He yelled and began his assault. Yaoi was being forced backwards and up the skyscraper’s wall, each blow from Sora jarring her sword in her grip. Wherever the Oblivion Keyblade struck, the Star Seeker would always swing somewhere else, forcing Yaoi to hastily block. Sora broke off his assault and held the two Keyblades parallel, raising them high.

“You’re gone!†he yelled, and brought them down. Energy exploded from the wall below him, rising from the wall and blasting Yaoi into the air. She grunted and just managed to catch a window sill, hauling herself up. Sora flashed once more and the Star Seeker disappeared, his clothes fading to black. Sora backflipped off the wall and hovered in the air with Glide.

“How’d you like that?†Sora taunted.

Yaoi growled in frustration. Power radiated in waves from her. Flames rolled down her blade and she launched herself at Sora. The two met in a fiery clash, the pair rocketing to earth. The ground cracked in a crater where they landed. The smoke cleared.

Yaoi stood, panting. Sora was lying beneath her, groaning. Blood trickled from his hairline where it had smashed against the concrete. Yaoi’s hair had clumped into sweat-slicked spikes. She looked up and smiled as she made eye contact with Kairi. The Princess of Heart glared at Yaoi and pressed a key on the laptop. In that instant the Word document that she had just written was simultaneously sent to both FanFiction and the Kh-vids.net Creativity Corner.

Yaoi’s head jerked to the side as she heard the rumble of gunfire. She raised her weapon and swatted aside bullet after bullet, staggering backwards from the force. Finally the barrage stopped and Yaoi searched for the source. There was nothing there... save for a conspicuous and innocent cardboard box. The labels emblazoned on it read, “No Place To Hide†and “No Place For Hideoâ€. Sora woke up and noticed this box as well.

“Kairi, you didn’t-?†Sora asked incredulously. Kairi shook her head, “Not the one you’re expecting.â€
Sora looked back at the cardboard box. Yaoi slowly approached it, careful to be on guard in case Sora tried anything. The box was hurled into the air by the person beneath it, a barrage of bullets following soon after. Yaoi staggered backwards, her sword swatting aside the storm. The man who had fired lowered his rifle and strapped it across his back.

“You?†Yaoi wondered. Sora noticed who it was and raised an eyebrow, “Him?†He asked Kairi. She shrugged in reply.

Raiden stood before them in all of his Metal Geart Solid 4: Guns of the Patrios glory. The FOXHOUND operative held a sheathed High-Frequency blade in his left hand. He was wearing a cybernetic suit that looked like some sort of futuristic space marine uniform. Errant locks of pale yellow hair escaped his helmet.
“Somebody called me?†Raiden asked. The instant he spoke everyone there was struck with a sense of familiarity, Axel in particular. Yaoi looked to Kairi.

“You,†she growled, venom overflowing from her voice.

Kairi smirked coldly, “Not so plot-driven now, am I?â€

Sora saw a chance and flung the Keyblade at Yaoi. She just managed to dodge the spinning weapon.
“Now!†Sora yelled. Raiden darted in, moving quicker than any human, and drew his HF blade. Yaoi, already off-balance, was hurled backwards by the force of the blow. If she hadn’t managed to block, she would likely have been killed. Sora caught the Keyblade as it returned and Raiden helped him to his feet.

“You picked Raiden, of all people?†Namine whispered.

“He isn’t in any yaoi pairings and has a canon girlfriend,†Kairi whispered back, “Besides, he’s pretty bad-ass in MGS4.â€

“How did you summon him here?†Namine asked.

“I wrote a short fanfic about him meeting Sora and set it a few days ago. In the fanfic Sora helps him with a mission and manages to save his life,†Kairi replied.

“You ready?†Raiden asked, elegantly sheathing his HF blade.

“Let’s go Axel!†Sora confirmed. Raiden raised an eyebrow at him.

“Sorry, Raiden!†Sora corrected and the two readied to face Yaoi.

OoC: Whew! Writing this in one sitting murdered my brain. Fluffy kittens... Yayz, another crossover! if you don't know MGS, just search Raiden on Wikipedia. I decided to put in another crossover because I've planned a Naruto crossover somewhere later. No telling who it'll be though! I'm kind of disappointed that I can't bring Snake in considering he's a) an old man and b) probably in a yaoi pairing. BTW, Quinton Flynn, the dude who voices Axel also voices Raiden. There, you laugh now, you can get the joke now.

 

By far I read, there are a few mistakes but overall I really like the story plot with all Rising Actions:) This is going good so far, plese continue:)

 

It took me a while to remember the name of the song Riku was singing but it finally hit me - Breaking the Habit. By: Linkin Park
