    Hey everyone, we are still dealing with the lack of Kingdom Hearts news. Recently, IGN has wrote an article where they give their own concept on the next sequel of Kingdom Hearts "Kingdom Hearts: III." I just wanted to let you guys know that everything on here is NOT official. Thanks to our forum member Shades for letting me know.

    July 28, 2009 - Square Enix has traditionally been associated with the Final Fantasy franchise, but one particular series that began in 2002 took the gaming community by surprise. Kingdom Hearts

    The action RPG revolved around a young boy named Sora and his two close friends: Riku and Kairi. The three children played together on an idyllic tropical island until one day a strange darkness invaded their surreal sanctuary and swept Sora up into a quest to find his friends. This journey connects Sora with Donald and Goofy, servants of the King, and the eager trio travels to many worlds in search of old companions -- all while battling the Heartless.

    Kingdom Hearts would later be followed by a GBA game titled Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, which followed main character Sora and his adventures after the conclusion of the original Kingdom Hearts. With the launch of Kingdom Hearts II, the protagonists enjoyed a dramatic growth both physically and emotionally, as even more villains threatened the natural order of the worlds.

    The most recent game in the Kingdom Hearts series to reach the US was Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, a PS2 remake of the aforementioned GBA spin-off. With two more spin-offs on the horizon, little is known about the seemingly inevitable Kingdom Hearts III. As Kingdom Hearts is a very special series to me, I decided to put together this outline of what I'd like to see out of the third proper entry in the series. In my effort to shape this as-of-yet untold adventure, I called upon friends and readers alike to create original concept art for this dream project. combined the JRPG expertise of Square Enix with the rich worlds and characters of the Disney universe. Add in a few Final Fantasy cameos and you had one of the most unlikely pairs in videogame history -- but it worked. The original Kingdom Hearts was met with a tremendous amount of success and gamers everywhere were captivated by its unique charm and sincere emotion.

      Wow the example of the concept artwork that someone created looks great. If they actually created Heartless that looked like that'd be interesting. Makes it look kinda creepy which they probably wouldn't do in the game because of the target audience and rating. Thanks for this, Mike. :3

      In the article it says how KH3 needs to be more mature than the other Kingdom Hearts titles... Not to say that I disagree, but to me, it looks like Birth By Sleep is already going to be by far the darkest and most mature-themed game in the series. I can't imagine Square taking it much farther than that with a game that's supposed to be for ALL ages, but if they can pull it off, I've got no complaints! :D

      Hmmm... if they're looking for grittier and more mature Disney films maybe they should add Treasure Planet to the mix, or base the entire game around it.

      I wish they would just finish everything before they start making us wait for III.
      With the "death" theme that might be in III, I have a feeling that Riku will die :( . of course I have no reason to think so, but it's just a feeling I have, seeing as none of the Disney characters can really die (I'm looking at you, goofy) that haven't died in their separate stories. also, FF characters can't die, but can somehow come back to life -_-
      Speaking of FF, I'm hoping for FF worlds because, really, don't we all?
      maybe to solve the irrelevance of the tournaments, you have to have a certain keyblade to unlock a certain door or defeat a certain boss, and the only way to get this keyblade is to win a tournament.
      another thing that I want but is probably not going to happen is customizable keyblades

      Sounds kind of like the theories I hear on the forum here already.

      But it isn't bad I suppose. Then again I've only read the first page. Most of the stuff seems like its a given for the 3rd game. Such as maturation, a more darkening feel and that kairi sora thing. D:

      Well, Kingdom Hearts is already a awesome game, and i would like to see it go a little more darker and advanced but, i Don't agree with the fact that, 3 should be the final game, because honestly, i can see it branching off into many different games, maybe an MMO, a game talking about the org's beginning, and i would like to see some more on its history, kinda like BBS and 358/2 Days, yes i miss sora deeply but, i don't want it to end!

      and Square! add a lilo and Stitich World Please!!!! stitch as a summon was good but, i wanna see a world (toy story also!)

      I was wondering if tht they cud include a Final Fantasy world liek the one from FF VII Midgar and the first visit would resolve around helping Zack and stuff and the second one during Clouds story and it wud be awesome 2 see Sora and the gang playing Blitz Ball

      Customizable Keyblades holy sh!t that would be made of awesomeness but expect alot of FF weps and yes i really hope 2 see Sora and the gang in a FF world i hope they bring Zack back hell if they brought back Aerith they can bring back Zack!

      That looks really impressive. I really do hope that Kingdom Hearts III is one of the darkest of the KH series, and please! Please put tougher enemies!

      Also, don't put Sephiroth as an optional boss. Of course it's Sephiroth but it can get somewhat cliche.

      I should also add that we'll have to wait until we get Kingdom Hearts III, because Nomura's planning on making a KH game (after finishing BBS) that's not exactly KH3, and kinda like a side-story, but more official. So we can expect big changes in the actual Kingdom Hearts III.

      When Isaw this I was like OMG!!! They finally announced khIII!! But then I saw that is was not offical anyway. I hope they release kh3
