      Well, I would certainly love to pre-order, but I don't have the system for it, plus I think I can live without a $10 gift card. Though, please tell that release date on there is for real, because if the game actually comes out at the end of this year, I'm going to be making a countdown timer

      Retailers typically add a placeholder date for the last day of the current year; as that date draws closer they'll change it to be farther off. A Kingdom Hearts 3 release date won't be announced for a very long time.

      No, shush you, I won't listen to this desecration upon my hopes and dreams of an earlier release date. I will live in denial as long as it takes

      I'm still thinking if I'm going to pre-order my KH III...
      I'm sure I'll try to get it ASAP, even not having a PS4, thou.

      Seems kind of weird they're offering a promotion for pre-ordering a game that is optimistically 2-3 years out. No way I'm going to ante up for a 10 dollar gift card on something with that much still hanging in the balance.

      I'll always wait for the game to get an actual release date. By the time that happens, they'll have a preorder bonus announced!

      I have no idea what newegg even is and $10 isn't much use to me here xD I wasn't going to preorder it anyway, not until it has a firm release date and I have a better idea of my situation console wise (I have secret hopes to befriend someone who has one so I can play this game without spending all my money).

      Hardly any games take that long to make.
      KH3 already has about a year under its belt and that's just counting when it was announced.

      I won't preorder anything without the firm date. I learned that with lightning returns. >___>
      I also don't know what that eddthingy is either so that's nothing to me treally xD I want all the cool stuff that comes with it ;--; I know a game this big won't just "come out". But thanks yo my game informers I've had my eyes set on some of the games listen. ;w;

      Like others said, I'd rather wait till there's an official release date (and till I get myself a PS4) before I even think about pre-ordering. Still, I suppose this is nice for those who want to pre-order it as soon as possible.

      Uh, I think it would be better to wait for a release date and to see if square offers a special edition to people that pre-order, like they did with HD 1.5 ReMix.

      I like my preorders. I've had KH3 on preorder for about a year now at Amazon.

      That being said I preordered Lightning Returns under this same promotion and it didn't ship until a couple of days after release, and after snail-mail I got it about a week late. But since I use Newegg frequently I was happy to effectively get 15% off in exchange for a short delay. It did include the official pre-order bonus as well, so you won't be missing out. (Unless you want collector's edition or something. But that is a different produc, not a bonus.)

      So if you're antsy for day one or don't use Newegg, then this won't help you. But otherwise it isn't a bad deal.

      I don't get why preorders for KH3 are even around right now I've seen them all over argos' website thing is the games still such a way off it feels ridiculous.

      I suppose, but I was under the impression that KH3 was not running on a full development team between the KH2.5 and FFXV projects. And besides, look at big projects like like Bioshock Infinite and FFXV. When it's a big franchise like this, Developers lately haven't been too shy with taking their time. I realize neither of those are direct comparisons, but all things considered, I don't think that 2 years it an outrageous amount of time, considering what Tetsuya wants to accomplish and what is on Square's plate over the next year or so. But I've been wrong before.

      FFXV is only a huge project because they didn't settle it onto a console because a console wasn't powerful enough to handle it. Most likely they've been running it on a high end PC obviously and now they're settling it into the PS4's hardware.
