Alright. I really have no right to review a game that I haven't even skimmed the surface of but, I'd like to point out that there are some very irritating flaws, well, not flaws but... ...differences in the game than the original Kingdom Hearts. It's just that. I have had not one; one on one fight with anyone in the game so far (with Sora). I would like to have an open battlefield and I'd love to pummel Pete; by... my... self...
But no, we have the giant ****** ('cuze my French) Goofy and the incredibly pathetic and weak Donald. I'd love to take the game on myself; just me and Sora. And for some reason. Donald and Goof were much... MUCH! Cooler in the first KH. And I'd like to bring back their great aptitude. (Sorry if I used that in the wrong context) I want the original combos for Sora some fast paced action. Man, It make me utter the words. Maybe Roxas would have been a better Protagonist than Sora. What'dya guyz think? Oh! And... that waz my review...

Hmm, Ragnarok and Roxas... I really can't see that happening. I never really cared if it was a one on one fight. Even though this is the wrong section, I have to say this: In the first game, you can choose a one on one fight against Sephiroth in the Platinum match in the Olympus Colosseum and it's hella' fun. And actually, Donald makes for a good healer even though he's otherwise pathetic. Goofy has a tornado shield attack that actually has some good range and damage on it. Sure, I would've LIKED to play as Roxas for half the game, just to try him out, but Sora is better with a keyblade in my opinion. And they kept Dodge Roll from the first game, that's something right? No, you used "Aptitude" right. At least, I THINK you did.
There's my opinion. It's how I see the game myself.
OOH! Almost forgot! They actually DO have some fast-action combos, I just can't get them to go REALLY fast is the thing.

Quoting the only two other typers here, sooo...*cracks knuckles*

I agree with you on that. Donald and goofy were way better in the first game. They were basically the ones who told you what was going on, who/what to fight, and the weapon you used (besides Leon). They helped a lot more, and it was fun to hear them say more than one word a cutscene. In KHII, Donald and Goofy don't say much, making them pretty pointless in the game.

I was also amazed I didn't get to play as Roxas, I would have enjoyed that, too. I actually expected to play him during my first night of play, and I wanted it to stay that way until his dreams came into the picture.
Donald and Goofy have a lot of cool abilities that are useful (I like Goofy tornado a lot as well, it helps rounding up Heartless) and Donald's Hyper Healing and starting off with Cure spell. They were fun in both games, but the first was better having them in it, otherwise I thought they were useless besides Sora's ******ed abitlity to not really decide on whether to help or not.

That was my review on the game, too, I thought the second one was better with gameplay and the fisr Kingdom Hearts had a better storyline. Keyblades in KHII were more useful as well, along with the Drive Forms and the Limit command. I also liked how you can press the triangle button for extra help.

Sorry for taking your free time with doing whatever you'd rather be doing. *End Review*.

Hyper Healing is an ability you can equip for your players on the Menu screen. Sora and Goofy have one, and I'm pretty sure that Donald has one, too. I think it means if your HP is low, they heal you immediatly and are either placed with another party member or just their own MP gets to zero, but I'm guessing the second answer.
