Hey, does anyone know of a code that will give riku a finishing move so I'm not doomed to restart the game after I get into a boss fight with him?

 

i'm not sure if this will work but try using a moveset code to give him Sora's moveset. Sora's moveset onto another character lets people finish off boss enemies.

 

the riku fix...give him one of sora's keyblades.​

 

That'll definitely work? Right now I have Riku equipped with Oblivion, so activating that code will allow me to kill bosses?

 

yes because all of sora's keyblades, pretty much, enable finishers.​

 

Ok thnx. Oh BTW, If I save my game with Riku, will it save him permanently or do I have to activate the code again because I plan to beat sephiroth with him and then go back to playing with Sora.

 

i think you have to activate the code again

also, janime, would you happen to know if Universal Weapon Mod will also enable finshers? i never gave it a try.

 

So you HAVE to have a Joker code for it? Well thanks anyway for clearin' that up.


Also on the Moveset thing, two questions:

1. Do you get the Keyblade from the Moveset? (Ex. Riku's Keyblade for Moveset)
2. Can you switch Keyblades for a certain moveset? (Not for Roxas and Sora, People like Mulan or Riku.)

Plus I played as Roxas in Hollow Bastion and he's mute, Will he only speak in Twlight Town?

 

yes you HAVE to joker boss warp codes.

and on the moveset questions

1. yes you do, you get the same weapons from the moveset you are adding. however, make sure that Sora is wielding Kingdom Key or you might freeze the game.

2. yes and no. i'm not 100% sure on the details but certain keyblades will work and certain ones will freeze the game.

and for Roxas' voice, he will speak in all worlds as long as you visit Twilight Town before going anywhere else.

 

how do you use them though? What do you relpace with x? is it these codes?

Hey Janime, the advice you gave doesn't help, because whenever I try to enter a boss battle with the keyblade equipped Riku---even in coliseum tournaments-----it gives me the everlasting annoyance of a black screen with music in the background. Any idea why this could be?

2. Certain Keyblades. Will Kingdom Key just because it's your first/Default weapon work on most of them?

2. yes that's the exact reason. if you have the character have their default weapon equipped and change moveset it won't crash.

K thanks anyway. Although, someone else on the forum said that to do it I need to joker sephy to a boss warp. Will this screw up my game or can I beat him then deactivate the code and continue like normal?


P.S. Don't know why I'm posting this 'cause I just got my infinite HP code working and beat him last night lol! :)
