Kingdom Hearts II Kingdom Hearts II memories

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has fond memories of Kingdom Hearts II, such as rushing out to get the game, playing it non-stop when I got it etc. So, this is the thread to share those memories.

Also, who remembers this?

Ah the memories. Actually I had tried to get it online and have it mailed to me. But my order ended up 3 weeks late. So by the time I got it, I had bought another copy and was on the final world. A few years later I got KH2FM, and I can remember screaming so loud from the excitement! *sniff* Aww those good old days>

 

My KH II memories would have to be fighting all of the bosses and enemies in general.

One memory that I have is Roxas in Twilight Town. I remember that when I first got and played the game, I was wondering why I was playing as this Roxas kid. It wasn't until Sora and party learned about nobodies that I understood what had happened.

Part of the confusion was because I played this after the first game.

 

I actually got this game before any other for some reason, so i had no clue what was going on and didnt think anything of playing as roxas.

 

You know when I got the second one it was around my birthday. I had to convince my mom it was worth spending fifty dollars for it. She caved and I rushed to best buy to get it. It was a funny memory. I couldn't even play it that night because the next day was my birthday so I had to entertain guests and hope they would leave sometime soon. As an artist I really appreciated the artwork.

 

Wow I actually remember seeing that on Disney. lol But I hold most of my memories with the game, because when it first came out I got this at launch. And I played this game constantly - took me like a month almost two to finish it. I still do like KH but I was just astounded by how different it terms of enviroments and gameplay was toward the first one.

 

I remember my sister getting this and the guide for her birthday. We couldn't even play it until it was her birthday, though.

Though the guide was ******, the game was great.

 

I remember seeing the trailer on T.V, I squealed and thought "FINALLY!"
I was little put off at playing as Roxas first, and seriously missed Traverse Town. But it was still a great game. The first I played I got anti-Form!....Sadly my data was erased.

 

KH2 Was my first KH game so I wasn't sure what to expect.I actually got it on accident,My friend was offering some games,I only remember one or two which Were/Was Resident Evil,A final Fantasy Game and others.But My brother was there so he saw mickey on the cover and here was all over it so I ended up getting it.I remember him sitting watching me play telling me to hurry up and find mickey.>>

 

I must be the only person that never saw this on Disney channel. I saw the commercials on tv.

 

I didn't even see it on commercials,I got it cause my brother kept saying,"Mickey" So i got it with out knowing anything about it >>

 

My brother JUST got the game last Christmas, and we finished it within a month [On beginner, of course]. But anyway, I remember having to leave the room so my sister could concentrate on fighting Saix (I guess I'm a distraction or something?) and Xigbar. I still dont know how in the world you're supposed to beat Luxord, but then again, I've never been good at card games! I also cried when some of the characters faded, and when Sora stepped into Proof of Existence. I dont know why, I just got all emotional. Also, when my sis was fighting the prison keeper at Halloween town, she forgot to equip aerial abilities, and the boss wouldnt hit her but she couldnt hit it and so we basically just talked about a movie we had just watched while she pressed random buttons until it finally died.

 

Fond memories indeed. I'd just beaten Kingdom Hearts on a Tuesday, before Christmas, and then the Thursday after, I bought Kingdom Hearts II. I remember playing it on a school night once [this was when my mom was still a stickler about bedtimes] and I shut her door and turned the volume down really low and I was able to get away with playing it for a little bit - until I received Sora's new outfit, and then my mom caught me, yelled at me, threw a pillow at me, and forced me to go to sleep.

Ah, memories . . .

 

I had just gotten KH and a PS2 slim. It was a little past Christmas '06 and I remember being stuck on Destiny Islands Departure (could the level BE any darker...?). We went to Best Buy to look at more new games to buy and I saw KH2.

I figured, why not, and bought it.
Half the game made no sense, I wondered why Sora was so much more epic than in KH, and I questioned Roxas' week in the beginning.

Once I beat KHII, I was left with so many question and spoilers. I went ahead and beat KH, hard as it was, and got hooked to the series.

You could say that KHII was what started it all for me. Those were some good times too.
If it hadn't been for Sora's added appeal in KHII, I might not have ever been Cat<3 Sora...
