Well i tried changing my bios to Europe , it didn't work and then i tried the US bios , it didn't work..any other methods i can use to get the Riku fix to work? or should i try using Code breaker?

 

This is FM so this is the Jap bios.

are you guys talking about pcsx2 bios? because if so, i dont' think the bios matter at all because i only have one and that's for the US and any codes i use work flawlessly.

 

EvilMan is right, the BIOS does not affect codes in any way.
Marcell, post the code your using and explain your method of using cheats.

Most likely it is a error in the code.

 

Code works fine on the emu. I just tried it out. It's probably his method of using the code.

 

I used emuhaste.

 

Well, it depends when you are activating it, try activating it in main menu before you load the save.

Also make sure 8bit/32bit swap isn't on.

 

Emuhaste always has problems. Just use a pnach file. It loads up every time you turn on the game, and it's just the click of the mouse to make it so it doesn't load up right when the game starts. Tis easier and faster, and even more compatible.

 

I've never had any problems with emuhaste. Only wrong codes that cause the game to crash. Never used pnach files, though.

There are "new" emuhastes that aren't as good now, though. I have ver 1.20/1.30.​

Actually Emuhaste is the better one since you use Emuhaste to make dumps and the dumps are used for RAM hacking thus resulting in codes.

And emuhaste is a lot quicker since you just activate it whenever you feel like by copy & paste.

 

Seconding that I've never had trouble with Emuhaste either, and that it has been extremely useful all the time I've used it.

Anyway, Aurangzeb was sometimes kind of "messy" with his codes. I remember I sat down and "cleaned up" the code:

Don't know if this will work (can't even remember what was wrong/got fixed), but give it a try. If it still doesn't work, I guess it might be something like that you're trying to play as Riku before having unlocked Riku as a party member in TWTNW? If you haven't unlocked him yet, try to go and do that and see if that changes anything.

 

Well, it's never worked for me, and making Pnaches for me takes about 30 seconds. Just copy the code, open my pnach maker, open the KHIIFM pnach, paste, save, play. As for MAKING codes, I'm ignorant to whatever method is used for that, so if Emuhaste works for you in that dept., then go right ahead.
