    The DisneyVideoGames Youtube channel has release the English HD version of the Festa trailer released a few days ago! The trailer can be seen below.

      I'm thinking most people who buy this game are probably just going to want to fight the data replicas more than anything, because I know that's what I'd be looking forward to the most; well, that and the fight with Roxas. I don't think it was fair for final mix to have that and not us

      Well this was a nice treat. Wasn't expecting them to release the trailer in English.

      And as I thought, Aqua's hair looks much better when you can actually see it in HD. A little pastel-y, but I think it's still a vast improvement over the original. I put together a comparison shot.

      I am hoping the fact we got an English trailer so soon is a sign that we won't have to wait so damn long for this HD collection to be released internationally like we did with 1.5

      English trailer already? I mean it's really easy to dub a Japanese trailer when the English already exists, but Square Enix is usually weird about this sort of thing

      A few more comparison shots. Some changes I noticed:

      Aqua
      -Improved/higher-resolution textures. Overall, all the textures also look less over-exposed.
      -Added shadow for clavicle.
      -Sleeve is slightly lower, and armor on arms is slightly higher.
      -Slightly higher-res ground texture.

      Terra
      -Larger biceps.
      -Shoulder armor shape is a little different at the top.

      Ven
      -Pants bulk out less and is higher-poly.
      -Checkered wristband is slightly bigger.
      -Room textures notably improved.
      -Vanitas' textures slightly improved.

      Also good to see their keyblades are looking less flat.

      Going off of 1.5, they likely look a little more polished than the actual game will, in terms of smooth edges, but it shows off a few new shots, so we get a better look at some textures.

      Or perhaps it will be like Pokemon X/Y where it has a multi-language option which features both an English and Japanese voice track.

      Am I the only one who's worried that the trailer says "Kingdom Hearts II" and "Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep" without any mention of Final Mix? It said Final Mix in the Japanese Jump Festa trailer, so why would they remove it in the NA trailer?

      I'm quite curious about how much new content they are gonna add for the Re:coded Cinematics. Of course, they'll make the existing ones in HD, but considering its... "plot," are they gonna have a bunch of text in-between as well? If that's the case, then quite disappoint. I'd imagine that they'd have to make some of the text bubbles into talkies, evidently during Hollow Bastion and the end of the game event.

      But yaay, English trailer. And here I used to think graphics looked good on the PSP (well, as far as portable games go anyway). Here's to a release date soon!

      • Fight Roxas!!
      • Use Reaction Commands!!
      • And again, relive my childhood.
      However I won't be looking forward to the trophies which involve Gummi missions :cool:
