Kingdom Hearts franchise: One of the most overrated games ever?!

Hey I was getting pretty choked up too, at the time... until that line.

 

I have to admit, it feels odd for me when I heard that line. But I totally choked up in the Japanese version. (watched the cutscenes in Youtube. XD)

 

That line makes sense tho, its what they enjoyed doing together. I mean if me and my best friend did the same hitng over and over, itd be "who will be there to play video games with me?" its serves significance because its what they did together. albeit it may be childish and such, its was their thing.

 

KH is easily one of the greatest game series I have ever played, second only to Portal

Most of the things this guy said isn't valid, in my opinion. KH is not overrated. Granted, Sora is annoying (in my opinion), but everything else he said is wrong. The story isn't that complicated for me (of course I've played most of the games, but still the story's great, and easy to understand if you try to understand it, or read the Xehanort/Ansem reports, or ask people who understand it. It's not that hard.), and I didn't even notice the fan service. His problem with the Disney characters didn't seem right to me either. Disney characters will, of course, act the same as they did in the movies/shows, there's nothing wrong with them saying the same lines as they did in the movies/shows, if you repeat the same story in the game, then they will say the same things. The there's the Roxas line. Roxas never knew what it was like to have a normal life. He had no memory at all about being normal. His entire life, and memory is the time he had in the organization. That was all he had. His idea of friendship was having ice cream at the tower like what Axel showed him, that's why he said that to Xion, it's the only thing he knows.

 

Also, i hope you guys know that "overrated" means"ranked too highly", which KH tends to be.

Don't get me wrong, i love the series, but yeah.

 

especially with the type of gameplay, the story and the puzzles

 

I love Portal, and the other Valve games in general (Especially TF2).
