Step-by-step guides, who is working on what, etc. Hopefully the thread won't be filled with "how i do dis" questions anymore.

 

One does not simply translate Wonderland. Let's just say that.

With all seriousness, We've decided to have 1 person translate 1 page while another translates another. We all get together for the rest to be translated.

 

Sora we did ask you we said you can. Anyone can test out the patches.

 

Not gonna lie, I kind of derailed and haven't been translating stuff lately. Been really into the whole TM2 madness. I uploaded a few files in the porting drive so replace away and go crazy. But I'm done with TM2s for now, I'm back on the translation train. I took a look at some of the Disney Castle ARDs and my own Destiny Islands ARDs in game and at one point the game crashed so I need to replay those scenes and fix up whats broken.

Once done, expect fixed versions of Disney Castle ARDs uploaded over the old ones on the drive. Those will be removed from the "In-Progress" folder and put into "Completed".
The long awaited Destiny Islands ARDs will follow.

I just have one question. There is a Final Mix exclusive scene in Destiny Islands where we see Kairi working on her lucky charm that she eventually gives Sora later in the game. There are about 3-4 lines of textbox dialogue during this part. I just need someone to translate this and we are good to go!

Destiny Islands & Disney Castle ARDs have been fully tested and translated. They are now in the Completed folder.

I will be away from my computer all day tomorrow (16th) so hopefully you guys can have some fun without me until I return later that night ;)
As for an ARD video tutorial goes, I MIGHT make one on Saturday but NO PROMISES. I am absolutely terrible at deadlines.
Which reminds me I need to update crazycatz' TM2 tutorial but takes minutes.

 

What we did in the huge conversation that was like 8 hours, Lol according to my skype.

We talked about times we are available. Roxas is starting college soon. I'm going into 9th grade. That's going to further extend the patches release. Michael had to go see Kickass 2. So I have no idea when he's available. Sora couldn't really talk and trilix came on rather late.

We got about 15-20% of Wonderland translated. All the easy Japanese (items, what the flowers want and World Areas) and some of the text of the Queen in such Possibly the cards text also everything the door say's and the rabbit say's has been translated currently translating the rest of the text, which me, Roxas, Michael, and Jaden or any other translator have NO idea who is saying what in the game with the text we're stuck on. And lol, we found this part with Heart and Spade over and over, hoping the cards will start saying Heart and Spade.

This is going to be a long project, I wouldn't say completed anytime soon. The worst part is I believe the rest of the ARDS Japanese text are scattered EVERYWHERE. That's a major issue. Due to it will be very confusing to work with. Please don't ask when this will be done, not any time soon. These scripts are HUGE.

I still have to get my iso :p going to do that soon.

Also, in the call we talked about how we were going to translate, I believe we should all have the translators on 1 ARDS just translating everything. Or assigned a page perhaps.

We got pretty productive. I wouldn't say anywhere near finished with Wonderland, although it should be easy translating all the easy stuff first.
