    I thought a program like this already exists somewhere. Guess not.

    It would be great to retexture the kingdom key to the one from KH2 or even BBSFM(DDD Kingdom Key). As apart of the porting thread

    Just to let you guys know I uploaded translated Dive to the Heart ARDs and put them in the Completed Files folder. Feel free to bug test.
    FYI I already know that a lot of them are off-center or off-screen. Once crazycatz figures out the positioning commands for EVT fonts I'll fix them.

    Sorry I wasn't able to translate anything today, I needed to finish up my Spyro Year of the Dragon project and catch up on Final Mix HD's recordings. I should be able to do more now that one of the LP projects is fully edited and scheduled for uploads.
    Oh, and when you are seeing the Unknown User, that's more than likely me.


    I'll try to bug test a bit tomorrow okay.

    Hey Trilix I am looking through these ARDs and they all seem to be the same regarding text. So I was thinking is it possible to copy and paste or even copy one ARD and renaming it?

    Maybe the ARDs that how different text in different ARDs are ones where the Final Mix exclusive scenes take place.

    Yes you are right A LOT of the ARDs have similar strings. In fact the last 100 lines of EVERY SINGLE ARD are the EXACT SAME. These lines are the "Obtained...whatever" as well as locations right before you enter new rooms. The way I edit the ARDs is that I use UltraEdit's search and replace in files feature to edit all the files at the same time so I don't actually have to copy and paste the same thing a million times. I only have to do it once.

    But at the same time No. It's not only the Final Mix ones that have different text. For example in the Dive to the Heart ARDs: dh01 may have the same strings as dh02, but dh03 has different strings than either one of them.

    The way they made this game baffles me, I am an organization freak and I can't possibly understand why there are so many copies of things.

    Scripts folder deleted. Everything is now in ARD files. There is quite a few in teh Incomplete files folder so use what you can for testing and such[DOUBLEPOST=1375680909][/DOUBLEPOST]
    That being said it's kinda annoying to look through everything and see empty junk or the same strings!

    Yeah sucks. Anyway I added a little text file in the Completed folder so check it out if you want to remove the subs on the game intro.
    For those of you who have been lurking I made a short step-by-step guide.

    Question, what happened to the script section on the Drive? Someone else translating them, because when I access it the script section isn't there.

    It has decided to have been deleted. All the files are now residing as an ARD file in the incomplete files section.

    Thank you, now I should be able to use it. Was looking for a program to use. Now to try to find which one of the ARD files has the Hollow Bastion script in it.

    Edit: This may sound weird, but is there a way I could edit the Hollow Bastion script without having to go through the ARD? Mainly because I can't figure hid nor hare of the thing, and I found I was able to navigate it better that way. I can give you the finished one to turn it back into an ARD if that'd help.

    Yeah it would help me out more. Crazycatz00's ARD reader is good, but I've never even heard of a .ARD file before this and I wouldn't want to screw anything up inside there. I'm at work now, but I'll be home soon enough.

    Unless I've made a horrible mistake in one of the releases, the IMGextract program extracts EVERY file the game knows exists (except kingdom.img, but it's special). I don't personally know what\where everything is, but it all should be there.

    I do know weapons are the WPN file, like "xw_ex_5530.wpn". I also know they're not a normal MDLS, so my tools (and Noesis, it seems) won't work on them as-is. I'm not sure, but I think I remember someone talking about the WPN format on Xentax or something.

    Also world models (the fancy 3D spinning ones, when you press triangle) seem to be in "worldmap/wi/*". Hallow Bastion loads "worldmap/wi/wp_pc.mlb", "worldmap/wi/wp_pc.tzb", "worldmap/eft/wp_pc.dpx", and "worldmap/eft/wp_pc.dpp". My guess is the 2 in wi (world item?) are model and the 2 in eft (EFecT?) are "effect" files.

    Gotta love Square's custom stuff, huh? lol

    well while we're on the case, crazycatz do you think it would be possible to edit the textures of the weapons? But if it would take too long I would suggest we stay on track with translation and deal with the HD side of it later.
