    what chaact mang the SLPS uses? I will make the table file for hex edit

    i use the Winhex are the best for me, that are support for table edited[DOUBLEPOST=1375332005][/DOUBLEPOST]I still prefer here, facebook is very limited in the case of group creation, there is no way to edit a post, you have to delete and post again, because I know my group's translation kingdom heart 2 was there, and was very bad working.

    The only issue I have with working on this thread is that there are 34 pages of variably useful posts, and buried within them are several documents made to help the work along. Having some sort of document hub or even a forum dedicated to the translation would really help organize everything, in my humblest opinion. But, on the other hand, setting one up could be a pain in the left ventricle...

    EDIT: Kind of a compromise I've considered... Why don't we have a Google Drive folder that we share by link. In that folder are subfolders of "Tutorials", "Tasks", and "Files". The tutorials folder, I would think, should be fairly obvious. The "Tasks" folder would contain the spreadsheet that Crazycat drew up to show what people are working on and what needs to be done, as well as additional files of that nature should they become necessary. "Files" could be the folder where we keep the completed files and the files being worked on.
    If we put the link to this folder in a wonderfully loquacious somebody's signature, it should be readily accessible to those who need it. Then those desiring to keep communications to the forums can, and those who want to talk through Skype can as well.

    Anyway, just an idea.

    Well, let's give this a go. If nothing else, it will consolidate all the files for a bit, since they are everywhere.

    (Note: To edit\upload, on an alt account, I had to "Add to Drive" then "Open in drive".)
    This folder should have full permissions for anyone with the link; can change to "only allowed people can edit" if necessary/preferred. (Keep backups of what you upload, since anyone can override. :p)

    Btw, both folder and spreadsheet link in my sig. Spreadsheet's been there for a bit, now.

    Sorry for taking so long, had to figure out Vegas.[DOUBLEPOST=1375348559][/DOUBLEPOST]Another little fix for the Unknown fight, when he uses the binding spell on you the commands are labeled as "as little value." and BTLTBL24
    I changed them to Constrain and Release, I remember that there is another fight (perhaps in KHII) where a similar thing happens, but I don't remember which one or if the commands have are different word. Nevertheless, I'm adding what I've got.

    EDIT: I realize now that Enzineda or Trilix are about to upload their btltbl.bin, so I'll wait until that.

    Well one of them translates to Shock.

    Yeah it's best we wait till everyone uploads their btlttbl.bin so we can have one uniform standard one.

    こんにちは all. Been lurking here for a long time now, so I finally got around to joining the discussion.

    ***ALL of you should watch this***


    Some things in the video worth looking at and discussing...

    I saw that there was talk of attempting to import HD 1.5's Command Menu settings (Triangle in interacting and special attacks; Summons on 4th slot) that I think would leave a problem in 1.5 unfixed with this KH:FM edit (see video)

    Also, was there ever a diagnosis for the cause of the Chernabog crash bug in PCSX2? Would be great to fix this issue completely while the game is under the microscope... All things considered, the game itself is not the issue, of course. I find myself playing KH2FM much more often (which is very strange to me how very soothly it emulates even WITH Xeeynamo's patch, but I find KH1/FM falling short on enemies like Rock Titan (entire coliseum disappears save for RT and Sora's team), Behemoth (didn't have trouble with it at all last playthrough, but it has completely crashed PCSX2 before), and that %#*$&)#* Chernabog EVERY time. -__-

    PS: It's actually "One-Winged Angel"... you guys forgot the dash, though it is a small detail... unless the dash mark can't be placed in without the long dash from the Japanese coding, as "OneーWinged Angel" is obviously not very natural looking.

    I hate how they said that they had to remake everything from scratch because the original data was lost :rolleyes:

    This remaster was still low budget and KH:FM was done by two programmers. They had to simply reverse engineer the game from the retail version. Difficult yes probably but these are professionals. It's was probably more time consuming for them than anything.

    You are right some textures and models still look the same. My guess is that they only bothered to upgrade the main character models. We shall soon know once Xentax forums is able to dump and analyze the models from the game

    I dont really agree with that video. The Pics that square took are rendered with max quality as possible. Just a computer screenshot. It is misleading but the models are still better in the PS3 version than the PS2. A lot of companies do this to grab attention. Also the the sprite faces are fine. Nobody goes back and really puts in renderable faces. The BBS was just an improvement or just another revision when porting to US. Like when they improved roxas hair and other clothes features in 2 FM. This guys is picking at things that dont really need to be picked at. Along with the days scenes. Also the guy doesnt understand that 2 people are remastering the game. This i have noticed: Why cropped cutscenes? You can spam Ars Arcanum , sonic blade and strike raid without messing up. you just keep mashing triangle so now you dont have to work for it. and Sephiroth fire pillars are missing bloom and yellow textures. Its just black now.

    More like Photoshopped then rendered. If it was rendered at the max quality then how come if you play this scene 6x native or more in PCSX2 Riku's face still looks the same? In reality the game is still using the original game engine. Nothing changed, so they made the changes that could be possible within that game engine. They just hyped up the game like they always do to maximize pre-order sales

    On that note the translation looks really good guys I'm actually surprised at the skill of this community seems like a lot of you were hiding in the shadows :P

    They have the code to do what the want. PCSX2 is only internal res. and every company over hypes there games with things like that. Its nothing new. I didnt even fall for it when i saw the screens.

    I've started working on it.

    By the by, has anyone tried uploading an .ard file from the English version in the ARD Editor to see if the formatting translates properly to the English FM SYS? I tried it once, but I just managed to get gobbletygook on all formats.:confused: I think I must have messed up somewhere... If it did, translating would be piece-o'-cakey.

    And if anyone needs the English .ard files, I have them. I can upload them all, or per request, whichever.
