ok where is the line count? Its not the same as offset is it? Also would it be easier if we skyped to communicate better? Just a suggestion.

 

The line count it literally how many lines are in the file. In normal Windows notepad, if you enable the status bar (View->Status bar) and go to the end of the file it will tell you something line "Ln 346 Col 1". So this random file I opened has 346 lines.

Skype might be easier, and less forum spam.

Honestly I think it would be better if we started a facebook group or just simply chatted on google hangout (not a fan of skype lol)

I am trying to replace my files with CrazyCat00 moded files but idk how . Can anybody make a video and explaining how to replace the files plz . I need a video showing how to replace the files

So I have a semi-working in-browser ARD editor. Right now it can open the ARD itself, and extract the string tables the same as the console tools. It will also be able to save the new ARD directly, and that is almost working. Not sure if it's a bug, but the conversion for saving by the browser is clobbering changed data; it's somehow turning 242 into 195... So I'm looking at work-arounds for that...

Nice to see most people here using FireFox... It'll probably run faster for it, since I'm programming in it. :P

I guess I can release what I've done with btltbl.bin. This contains a whole lotta items and abilities and whatnot. This also contains the interaction words when you walk up to things such as "Talk", "Examine", etc. Let me know if some of the action words may be incorrect because I was only testing the items.



You will notice in the screenshots that many items have been shortened or spaces have been removed such as "Power Shard" being "PowShar" or "EXP Earring" being "XPEring" because I couldn't fit the rest. This is as far as I'm going to get with this file unless we figure out a way to add more hex codes than normal. The only things that aren't translated in this file are the item descriptions due to that exact reason.


Oh and it contains the translated command menu ;)
