No no no, i meant the update* as in once it's released haha. I am really sorry for the confusion. :P

 

i can give you guys a beta patch if you like . Just PM and i will give it to you. I am working as fast as i can , I am working on my kh2fm patches too trying to finsh those up(4 needs to be fixed) and its just alot of work! Sorry if its not comming sooner Guys.

 

Be better if you take your time and do it right then hurry it along
I will wait it out myself and post the new KH2FM link as well and some changes compared to what is out already would be nice :)

 

Hey Guys Happy News Years ! its 2015. I will Soon be posting a beta patch for kh1fm once i get the command menu done and this time we wont need the google drive . It will be all in once patch. I hope you guys have fun!(I dont know when i will be posting this).

 

Yo Guys ! I got good news . I got the command menu starting to translate . Once i get this done and test on the ps2 and if it works i will make a patch and post it here.

 

So what exactly are you doing? Why did you have to start over, I thought we already had a good method going?

 

Awesome! if you ever end up finding out how to correct the animations with the 60fps patch, I'll erect a temple in your honor, But as for now i just worship you for the patch :P

why??? Just work off what we had. If you are gonna do that then make your own thread. If they even let you.

 

I do agree with what you are saying miles. Why wouldn't the previous translated files work? If the ELF was modified to work on the PS2, then that's all that really matters right?

 

Hey guys I'm alive! I'm probably going to delve back into this sometime this weekend FYI.

Sora, we aren't starting over. So much work has been put into this at this point and we've come so far.
(Plus Miles and I worked our butts off on the command menu here)

Although just wanted to ask, what exactly happens when you try this on a PS2? I could try if I wanted to but I'm lazy lol.

 

Welcome back! have you read some of the issues we have had with the patch? issues being items not being added to inventory, freezes, etc etc

 

Well the very first problem you can not even start a new game it will lock up at the very beginning and their in the last 25 pages of this post have more besides that lockup with latest elf mod

 

Just curious, as I don't feel like reading through 113 pages - if I played through with the incomplete files, which points would I have to swap back to the original Japanese ISO?

thats why i started over . I got the Elf Done and The Command Menu Done and plus MY version of this patch works on ps2 and i will try and post a video today showing it works.[DOUBLEPOST=1420747843][/DOUBLEPOST]

It Locks Up when you start a new game and thus i think it was the command menu mod becuase it worked fine without it and plus my patch i am working works on the PS2 System. Fine Have fun with your guys patch I am doing my own version of this patch and it will work on the ps2.

 

it hangs in the Dive into the Heart area because of the wrong settings in PCSX2. Were you using PCSX2 or the PS2 when this happens?

 

Their is a lot of bug for the PS2 and all my testing is was done on the PS2 with OPL and tried a burn using ESR and it will not even load with that

I think a lot of the hacks are outside of the PS2 capability if no one is testing the hacks for real system then that can easily happen

 

Do you know what worlds crashes ? I am going to try and work from what we have. and i fixed the ps2 system lock up . I tested Dive to the heart and it worked fine . I jus need the worlds that crashes and bugs etc...

 

Really all I want is to be able to play Final Mix, in english, on a PS2. All the extra stuff like 16:9 resolution or 5th command slots (remember that?) I can live without. I just want to play the "canon" Kingdom Hearts that the Japanese were so lucky to get so long ago. I'm jealous.

 

Well i fixed the crash on the ps2 . I just been busy so i havent had the time to record a video showing what it looks like and what do you mean Canon Kingdom Hearts ? I never heard that
