Does anyone else here think that full American English versions of the two games should be released?

 

yes! those games look absolutely awsome and i really want to play them, but unfortunately i don't read japanese nor have i the patience to learn, but a translated version would solve that. they should release a BBS FM dub as well

 

As nice as it would be I know it'll never happen- they want to give something to just the Japanese, they will obviously let the world have it but it comes at a price- Japanese text. I would love to be able to play these games without it harming my PS2 but I've accepted that it won't happen.

 

Yes, they really should be released. The extra bosses look really worth playing in both games and the extra cut scenes finally being in english would help to understading the story more.

I WANNA PLAY AS LIMIT FORM SO BADLY!!!

Plus, I want to fight Roxas. RAGNAROK FINISH, lol. Or zantetzu-counter.

I really wanted to play both of the final mix versions but i'll guess i never will. It's not fair! xD

 

Pretty much this.

Since the overseas releases typically have more content than the initial Japanese releases, the Final Mix games are both to provide the extras that the Japanses didn't originally have, as well as just a special treat for them.

Although Final Mix would be nice to have in English, it's just one of those things you've got t accept. :/

 

Every time I think about Kingdom Hearts, I think about the Final Mixes and begin to whine loudly about it. It'd be awesome it they released them in the US.

 

Well, I played all of the final mixes of Kingdom Hearts, 1, 2 and bbs. I just had to found something that translated the name of the skills to english, and I was right with that. KH2 fm, I played it (and still play it), in Japanese, and I don´t have mane problems, I just have to guess wich skills I don´t want (thats easy, and no, I don´t know Japanese), and put only those I need.

But a translated version would be awesome, that would save time searching for any english patch. I was lucky to find an English patch for Birth By sleep, but even without it, I don´t find it difficult to play it in japanese :]

 

I wouldn't mind the final mixes if it weren't for one problem:

THEY KEEP REFERENCING EVENTS THAT WERE ONLY IN THE FINAL MIXES!!!!

People who have never heard of the remakes will go "What The Hell? When did THAT happen?" and as Linkara would say: "TIME FOR BACKSTORY!"

Now I own KH2FM+ and it was $40 well spent but I shouldn't have to jump through rings of fire to play it.

 

No they should not, if people want to play them they should put forth the money and import them. Trust me, it's worth it. There's something to be said for putting the work into getting it and then being able to play it in its original Japanese glory. It's like working for your meal.

 

Well, I think they should have been. But it's really too late now. PS2 is more or less a dead console anyway. I'd rather see them putting some effort into making KH3 instead of re-releasing old titles (or all those damn handheld spin-offs)...

 

I agree, even though we know KH3 wont be made for a long time, I'd like them to just stop it with all the portable games. Days and BBS were nice to have as handheld games but everything handheld after them has been ridiculous, even though 3D is going to be similar to the way CoM was, i still feel like their dragging the story out unnecessarily.
