After a few moments, when everything was still again, Namine hesitantly let her eyes open again. Her sky blue orbs immediatly found Roxas', which were still gazing at her. She felt the shyness rising up in her heart again, a timid giggle leaving her lips.

 

Roxas's small grin widened a little at Namine's shy laughter, his teeth showing a little more from behind his lips. No words were really needed at that moment, because the way they felt for each other was surrounding them in the air. Roxas let his thumb run over Namine's cheek lightly, his eyes connected with hers.

 

Namine felt Roxas' thumb move over her cheek once, and it sent a pang of warmth to her heart. Still feeling shy, she let her gaze fall, the girl looking down at the bench once again.

 

Roxas felt a short chuckle escape his lips when Namine looked away again, but he already was aware that it was out of shyness. Regardless, he kept his hand where it was against her cheek, letting his thumb come to a stop against her skin.

 

Namine heard Roxas' chuckle, and she knew she had caused that with her shyness. Well, at least one good thing came out of her shyness; she got to hear Roxas' laugh. Her cheeks turned a deeper shade of pink, her timidness really coming out.

 

With his hand still against Namine's cheek, Roxas could feel her skin warm up as she blushed. He softly chuckled again. "Namine," he said as the short giggles faded, amusement and happiness apparent in his voice.

 

Without thought, Namine lifted her eyes at the voice. Her soft blue eyes, filled with shyness, met Roxas' delight-filled blue orbs.

 

Roxas's smile was wider, his teeth showing as he gazed at the girl, closer to her than he was a few minutes ago. He noticed the shyness expressed in her eyes, and the heat on her cheeks as well. But he only smiled, thinking it was still adorable. Roxas kept his bright eyes locked on Namine's as his hand remained on her cheek, the boy closing the gap between them as he gently brought his lips to hers.

 

Namine shut her eyes when Roxas connected his lips with hers, a pang of warmth going to her heart. Gosh, she loved how he could just take away her breath like this. She lightly kissed him back as she brought up a hand, gently setting it on his shoulder.

 

Roxas felt Namine's light touch and wanted to smile as she kissed him back. He felt the corners of his lips turn up slightly. He had been smiling just before he kissed her, so he guessed that it had never really faded from his face.

 

Namine let her hand slide from Roxas' shoulder to his neck, her fingers resting lightly against the back of his neck. She toyed with some of the spikes as she kissed him gently.

 

Roxas felt the urge to smile grow with Namine's gesture, his lips still connected with hers. He had his ways of making her smile, and she had her own for him as well.

 

Namine wanted to smile so badly as she kissed Roxas. He always had his ways of showing his love and care, and at this moment, Namine thought her heart would burst from the love she felt.

 

Roxas couldn't take it anymore! As his urge to smile grew even more, Roxas gently separated his lips from Namine's, pulling back slightly just as a smile made its way across his face. With things okay again--no, better than okay, he felt like there was no longer any heavy weights on his shoulders. And that feeling was great.

 

Namine's hand slid off the back of Roxas' neck when he pulled away, her hand falling into her lap. Her eyes staying shut, she exhaled a silent breath, letting a smile start to form on her lips.

 

Roxas slowly opened his eyes, his gaze immediately falling on the girl in front of him. Her eyes were still closed, but he didn't need to see them to know what she was feeling. His hand still on her cheek, Roxas smiled a little wider as he leaned in, planting a light kiss on Namine's cheek that was closest to him before he pulled back.

 

Namine's soft smile widened at Roxas' gesture, the kiss sending a pang of joy to her heart. Her sky blue eyes flickered open and her gaze immediatly fell on the boy in front of her, who was looking back at her as well. Just the sight of those bright blue eyes made Namine smile a little more.

Sora had been looking out at the pond, but at that moment, he looked back over at Kairi. He had a small idea, and as always, once he had an idea, he followed through with it. "Stand up," Sora requested softly, communicating through his heart so he wouldn't break apart the peaceful moment between Roxas and Namine.

 

Roxas's smile returned as he gazed at Namine, loving to see her peaceful expression. Those sky-blue eyes were full of joy and comfort, as well as love and care. Roxas also saw security, which he figured he provided in a way, his protective nature higher than it had ever been before over Namine recently. Well, he was definitely okay with that fact that she didn't have a problem with it; he wouldn't have it any other way.

Kairi's eyes had been on a group of kids playing in the park, but when Sora's voice had called out to her heart, she turned her gaze to him. Her violet-blue eyes gazed at him for a moment before she followed through with his gentle request, standing up quietly from her seat on the bench, her eyes still on Sora as she did so. She was curious as to why she was standing, but she didn't say anything, knowing she would find out soon enough.

 

Namine's soft smile stayed on her lips as she gazed into Roxas' eyes. Without thought or hesitation, she lightly leaned her head against the hand that was still on her cheek. Whenever Roxas touched her in such caring, gentle ways, Namine always felt as if she were very protected and loved. Those were the two best feelings in the world.

Sora felt his lips turn up slightly when Kairi obeyed his request without question or hesitation. Gosh, he loved that she trusted him so much. The brunette slowly rose to his feet as well. When he was fully upright, he was right beside Kairi. His eyes stayed on her as he gently raised one hand, setting it lightly on Kairi's upper back.

 

Roxas's small smile grew slightly as he looked at Namine, feeling her lean her face into his hand a little. He didn't mind that at all. The boy started to move his thumb lightly over her smooth skin, his eyes staying locked with hers.

Kairi felt the corners of her lips turn up slightly at just the touch Sora provided against her back, her eyes locked with his piercing blue. The smallest things he did made her happy, and she was sure he realized that. It had always been that way, even when they were little. Kairi had never been a greedy person, so even the smallest loving gestures brought her happiness.
