Namine couldn't help but smile as she reached out, taking the plate out of Roxas' hand and holding it in her own. She looked down at the plate for a brief moment before looking at the couple in front of them, giggling slightly at their facial expressions.

"Roxas..." Sora warned, shifting his footing underneath him. If Roxas wanted to sink as low to attack someone unarmed, well, Sora wasn't about to let that happen. He started reaching for the table, trying to find a plate of cake for himself.

 

Roxas smiled playfully at his friend, his teeth showing in the grin. He turned his head after a second, his eyes falling back on Namine. He smiled at her, cake icing still all over his face and his blue eyes shining with playfulness. He nodded once, letting her know that it was a good time to throw the cake. Well, not good for Sora or Kairi, necessarily. But it was all in good fun.

 

Namine nodded softly, seeing Roxas' playful expression behind his icing covered face. She was ready when he was, and since he had nodded for her to go, she supposed she would go first. A grin on her face, she stepped forward one step, kneeling down a little as she turned the plate and pressed the cake down onto the top of Kairi's red hair.

 

Kairi's eyes widened as her jaw dropped, the girl in complete shock that Namine just did that. She felt the icing being pressed into the top of her head, the icing oozing into her hair.

Roxas stifled a few laughs at Kairi's expression, remembering that he still had his own cake in his hands. He took one quick step forward and knelt down, shoving the cake into Sora's face swiftly.

 

Namine giggled at Kairi's expression, seeing her friend's surprise and shock. Namine started rubbing the plate lightly over Kairi's hair, getting more cake and icing off the plate and onto Kairi.

Sora instinctively wanted to cry out when he saw Roxas bringing the pie up to his face, but he thought better of it at the last moment. He tightly shut his eyes and closed his mouth, feeling the cake impact his face right after that.

 

Kairi squeezed her eyes shut when she felt Namine begin to rub the cake even more into her hair. She shut her mouth, feeling the icing in her hair some more.

Roxas turned the plate side to side slightly, making sure the pie was stuck against Sora's face before he pulled his hand back, the plate staying attached to the now smooshed pie against Sora's face. He felt chuckles of playfulness leave him.

 

Namine pulled the plate away after a few moments, feeling satisfied that she had gotten Kairi messy enough.

Sora opened his eyes when he heard Roxas' playful chuckle, the teen able to see that Roxas didn't have his hand against the plate anymore. Sora reached up and took it off his face, while using his other hand to wipe away the icing and cake on the other side of his face.

 

Kairi opened her eyes when Namine quit, still in disbelief that that just happened. She brought a hand to the top of her head, her fingers finding the cake on the top of her head. Kairi's lips parted slightly as she grabbed at the cake and pulled it from her head, looking down at the handful of pressed cake and icing in her hand.

Roxas' chuckles softened slightly, but didn't stop as he looked at Sora and Kairi's expressions. Gosh, this was just too funny!

 

Namine backed up slightly, holding the plate at her side as she looked at Kairi and Sora's expressions. Gosh, those expressions were so priceless. It was now that she wished she had brought a camera.

Sora let the plate fall to the floor as he throught up his other hand, wiping at his eyes to get the icing away from them. Over the roars of laughter and flying food, he could still hear Roxas' chuckles. "Roxas," Sora started, his tone stern. He gave his friend a hard glare before a smirk started to appear on his lips. "This means war."

 

Kairi stared at the handful of cake before lifting her gaze to Namine, her violet-blue orbs looking at the blonde in a glare before she blinked and smirked slightly, her eyes representing playfulness. "You're in trouble," she said slowly, her eyes on the blonde girl.

Roxas' chuckles softened even more, the laughs fading. His ocean-blue orbs met the ones identical to his, and he flashed a cheesy, toothy grin.

 

Namine's eyes widened at Kairi's statement, though she couldn't completely silence her giggles. She stiffled them to the best of her ability, though quite a few escaped her lips despite her efforts to stay silent.

Sora's eyes moved over to the table for one brief moment before going back to Roxas. The brunnette had spotted a full pie sitting there, and he decided that now was the time to make his move. He quickly reached up to the table and grapped the banana pie, swiftly shoving it in Roxas' face.

 

Kairi threw her handful of icing and cake at Namine that the blonde had put in her red hair, the girl standing up as soon as the food left her hand.

Roxas froze, his mouth no longer smiling as it was covered in banana pie and instead tasting the flavor of it.

 

Namine's eyes widened in surprise and she instinctively put up her arms, the cake and icing getting all over them instead of on her dress.

"You like that, Roxas?" Sora teased his friend playfully, a smirk appearing on his lips. Keeping his right hand on the pie container, he reached up to the table and grabbed another, almost complete banana pie. "It's not over yet." Sora held that pie in his left hand as he brought it around back, pressing it against the back of Roxas' head.

 

Kairi chuckled at her blonde friend before making her way over to the table to grab more of the creamy, icing-filled ammo.

If Roxas' eyes were open, they would've widened greatly at the new piece of food on the back of his head. Instinctively, he turned his head away, bringing up a hand to get the pie off his face so he could breath in the air instead of its filling.

 

Namine looked down at her arms with wide eyes, lowering them and staring at the icing in surprise and shock.

Sora saw what Roxas was trying to do, and though he would have enjoyed keeping Roxas at his mercy for a few more moments, he understood that his friend did need to breath. He brought the pie away from Roxas' face, holding in his right hand as he looked at the blonde. The other pie stayed connected to the back of Roxas head as Sora pulled away his other hand, the creamy pie sticking to Roxas' blonde hair.

 

Roxas brought up his hand and wiped at the pie on his face, clearing it off his eyes, nose, and mouth. He shook his head slightly, the pie bits flying off his face slightly. He lifted his eyes to Sora, a playful glare on his face as he brought up his right hand to the back of his head, grabbing at the pie stuck to his spiky hair.

 

Sora grinned sheepishly, seeing the glare that Roxas gave him. I'm in big trouble now... he thought to himself, still holding a pice of pie of his own in his hand.

 

Roxas kept his eyes on Sora as he pulled some of the pie off the back of his head. "You're dead meat," he said in a low, threatening yet playful tone. Oh, he was going to get him for this.

 

Sora's sheepish grin grew at Roxas' tone, and he didn't know how to respond. He was obviously going to get Roxas' revenge now, and he also understood that Roxas wasn't going to stop until Sora was repaid in full.

 

Roxas smirked before his hands darted toward the table next to him, the boy picking up a brownie in each hand and beginning to chuck them at Sora.
