Namine felt her walk slow as they headed over to the corner of the room, where there was a pole and...rope and duct tape. Smith stopped her about a foot in front of them before releasing her with one hand, turning her to face him. Namine saw his eyes under his hood, and they were yellowish, full of evil. Namine's eyes widened in surprise, and she stood immobilized. Then, Smith suddenly smirked. He pulled back his right hand and turned it into a fist, quickly bringing up and punching Namine on her face. The girl furrowed her eyebrows in pain as she shut her eyes, feeling her legs give out underneath her as she fell to the ground.

 

OOC: Wow...I just brought a hand to my mouth in surprise at that post. O.O

"Move!" Roxas ordered as he sprinted through the sidewalks, and people immediately obeyed as he rushed past them. He cut across another street, dodging a car that came his way, but that didn't slow his pace. This was probably the fastest Roxas had ever run before, and he wasn't really surprised. The faster he ran, the quicker he got to Namine, and that was all that mattered. Roxas turned a corner, a block away from Sora's home.

 

OOC: Like I said before, I like it when things are intense.

Namine sat on her knees, feeling Smith release her arms as she kept her eyes shut tightly. Tears were building up behind her closed eyes at the pain, the girl in shock at how hard Smith had hit her. And then after a moment, she realized that Smith had purposely made her go the ground. In her dazed state, there was no way she could fight back as Smith tied her hands tightly behind her back and around the pole Namine had noticed earlier. She also couldn't fight back when he moved her legs, wrapping the rope tightly around them as well. Or when the duct tape covered her mouth, either. She was in a serious predicament now, and fear, panic, and pain were the top three emotions she felt at that moment.

 

OOC: No kidding.

As Roxas ran toward Sora's home, only one thing was on his mind. Namine... Namine. He was her guardian angel, her shield...He had to help her. He couldn't live with himself if he didn't. She was too precious to him...far too important. Roxas turned another corner and his eyes immediately fell on Sora's house not too far away. He sprinted even harder, wanting to get his friends' help as soon as possible.

 

Namine felt a hand grip her face and she opened her eyes, seeing Smith kneeling in front of her, hood still up. Some tears escaped her at this point, the girl seeing wickedness in his yellowish-orange eyes.

Smith merely chuckled, holding the girl's stare. He was going to make this miserable for her. She had ruined his last battle with Roxas, and she was going to suffer for that, along with anything that Roxas did. Why was he punishing her so severly? Well, it was because she appeared to be stronger than he first suspected. And he was going to break her down. That was a guarentee.

 

Roxas ran along the sidewalk, his eyes glued to Sora's home. With his quick pace, he was there within seconds, the boy cutting across the lawn and reaching the door. His sprint slowed quickly, the blond coming to a halt in front of the door. He brought a fist to the wooden door, starting to bang on it impatiently. "Sora!" he hollered. "It's Roxas! Open up!"

 

Sora's eyes widened slightly at the sound of loud banging, the noise coming from the door. Wait...Roxas? Something's wrong, Sora immediatly recognized, taking the blanket off his lap as he stood up. He had been sitting with Kairi, enjoying the end of a comedy on TV, but it was obvious to him that the tide had suddenly changed. He didn't know why, but something was up. He hurried over to the door, going to let his friend in.

"I'm going to break you," Smith promised the girl, releasing her as he put his hand back into his lap. He stayed kneeling in front of her, glaring into the witch's light blue eyes. "I promise you that."

 

Kairi's eyebrows were furrowed over her violet-blue eyes slightly as she watched Sora rush to the door, and heard Roxas yelling from behind it. What was going on? Something was definitely wrong...and she knew that was true, for she could feel it in her heart.

Roxas continued to let his right hand bang on the door, the reality of this situation starting to affect him. Namine was in danger because of him, and he knew that Smith wasn't going to hold mercy. That knowledge made Roxas' heart skip a beat in fear, his fist pounding against the door once more.

 

Sora made it to the door and pulled it open very quickly, immediatly noticing his distressed friend at the door. "Roxas? What's wrong?" Sora questioned in concern, looking over Roxas' features. He looked very upset.

Namine didn't respond, unable to with the tape that covered her mouth. She shut her eyes tightly, more tears flowing down her cheeks in fear, hurt, and sadness.

 

Roxas' alarmed eyes fell on Sora and he said the words without thinking. "You gotta help me. Namine's been kidnapped. She's taking the fault for my own mistake." The words came out rushed and breathless, Roxas a little tired from his run but also aware that Namine was dealing with his own mistake at that moment.

Kairi pushed herself up from the couch as Roxas started talking, the mention of Namine's situation causing her to hurry to the entrance room.

 

Sora's eyes widened in surprise; that definitly wasn't what he expected to hear. But then again, what was he expecting? Sora chased away the question, focusing on the current moment. "Come in," Sora told his friend. "Tell me what's up." Roxas' explaination so far wasn't too helpful, and the brunette really had no idea what was going on other than the fact that Namine was taken. But by who? Who would want to take her? And why would she be paying for a mistake Roxas made...?

 

Roxas exhaled in a huff and nodded, following his friend's request. He really needed to calm himself down; all this adrenaline and rage he had toward Smith wasn't going to help the situation any further.

Kairi watched as Roxas stepped into Sora's house, his eyes holding strong expressions of fear and anger. He also had a look that told her he was desperate, and obviously for help.

 

Sora shut the door behind Roxas, watching the blonde carefully. Namine was taken from him, and he had great reason to be upset, infuriated even. But Roxas would have to save that anger for later; if he wanted any assistance from Sora, he would need to calm down and explain what was happening.

 

Kairi took a few steps toward the boys. "Roxas, calm down, okay?" she requested softly. She could practically feel the anger coming off of him. If he didn't compose himself, they wouldn't be able to help.

Roxas nodded, his eyes on the floor. He closed them and inhaled a needed breath from his run over to Sora's. Kairi was right; if he needed help, he was going to have to explain everything clearly, not irrationally.

 

Sora nodded faintly in agreement; Roxas really did need to calm down, for his sake as well as theirs. They needed to talk things over logically, and though he was sure Roxas' emotions were going crazy inside him, they woul djust have to be set aside for now. Sora took a few steps forward and raised a hand, setting in Roxas' shoulder in a brotherly, supportive way.

 

Roxas exhaled his breath, opening his eyes and turning his head to look at Sora. He knew that Sora was trying to comfort him, and he appreciated it.

Kairi watched Roxas in silence. Namine was kidnapped... But by who? And why? Roxas had mentioned a mistake, but what mistake had he made?

 

"When you're ready, you can tell us what's up," Sora told his friend, keeping his gaze on him.

 

Roxas nodded once. First he had to figure out what he was going to say; there were so many different thoughts crashing together in his mind that it was a little hard to focus. His eyes shifted away from Sora's for the moment, his gaze falling on the floor again.

Kairi stayed silent, though she agreed with Sora. It seemed that this was a very big deal, and Roxas probably had a lot to think about. And to tell them as well.

 

Sora kept a hand on Roxas, not moving. He could understand what was going through Roxas' head, in a way. When Kairi had been kidnapped, he had been a wreck.

 

Roxas exhaled a breath, his eyes closing for another brief moment. "Okay," he started, opening his eyes. "Namine left my house after we finished watching a movie, and it was getting pretty late. But since she didn't live that far away, I let her go alone." Roxas was sure that his two friends understood how protective he was over Namine, considering what had happened not that long ago. "A little while after she left, she called my cell and..." Roxas trailed off, the conversation Namine and Smith had been having entering his mind again. His hands clenched into fists slightly, but he kept himself under control.
