Namine kept her eyes on the hand, comfortable the way she was.

 

Roxas moved his right arm slightly, adjusting it so his right hand curved around Namine's left side.

 

Namine looked down, feeling Roxas' arm across her stomach. She smiled softly, now knowing that he was watching her. Or at least, he had his eyes open, anyway. She lifted her head as she turned it slightly, gazing up at the boy.

 

Roxas noticed the movement and turned his head slightly as he brought his gaze to the light blue eyes looking back at him. A smile appeared on Roxas' lips, naturally.

 

Namine softly returned Roxas' smile, her light blue eyes returning Roxas' love-filled gaze.

 

Roxas held the gaze, his heart leaping at Namine's smile. Gosh, he loved that smile. He wanted to see it everyday, and knew he would. He'd be sure of that.

 

"You want to sit down?" Namine asked softly, just then remembering that Roxas had been standing for quite some time. The couch was available...

 

Roxas' eyes immediately shifted to the couch and then he looked back at Namine. "Sure," he said with a small smile. "But before I sit down..." Roxas let his right arm move along Namine's stomach as he stepped over to the left, letting his left arm come back completely. Since the stool was around half his height or more, he didn't have to lean down to do what came next. He lowered his left arm and sweeped Namine off the chair and into his arms, holding her close to his chest.

 

Namine's eyes widened slightly in surprise, though it wasn't unpleasant surprise. A moment before Roxas had actually lifted her off the stool, she had recognized what he was doing, and it sent a pang of happiness to her heart. The next thing she knew, she was in Roxas' arms, her gaze staying up on him. A soft giggle left her lips, the girl smiling as she looked up at the blond boy she loved with all her heart.

 

Roxas' smile turned into a grin, a reaction to Namine's giggle as well as from a tad playfulness. He looked down at the girl for a moment before he started toward the couch.

 

Namine's smile softened as she gazed up at him, her eyes staying on his face. Gosh, she loved this feeling...Being in Roxas' arms provided her with a lot of pleasant emotions. Happiness, safety, joy, and love.

 

Roxas felt a soft gaze on him as he approached the couch, which only caused his smile to stay in place. He stopped in front of the sofa, Namine still in his arms. Instead of putting her down, he turned around in that spot so that his back was to the couch. He looked down at Namine with his smile still plastered on his face before he lowered himself to the sofa, the girl still in his arms.

 

Namine saw playfullness, as well as care, in Roxas' smile, and it only made her feel more relaxed. Still though, the fact that he had sat down with her still in his arms...that definitly wasn't what Namine expected. But of course, she wasn't about to protest it. Though she did feel a shy feeling creeping into her heart, she held her gaze with Roxas, a smile on her lips.

 

Roxas' playful grin faded into a smaller but still playful smile. What could he say? He loved having Namine close to him; and by the expression her beautiful features held, she felt the same.

 

Namine held Roxas' gaze, hearing a soft giggle leave her lips. That look on his face always made her smile, no matter what.

 

Roxas felt a pang of happiness when Namine giggled. He was making her happy, and that was definitely one of the most important things to him, other than her safety and protection.

 

Namine gazed up at Roxas, the smile staying on her lips. She gently brought up a hand, lightly setting it on Roxas' chest.

 

Roxas' smile softened a little as he brought his hand out from underneath Namine's legs. He let his hand rest on top of one of her knees while the other stayed behind her back.

 

Namine felt her legs being lowered, though she was glad that Roxas didn't completely withdraw himself from holding her. She loved having him this close, especially under good circumstances like this. She leaned her head over slightly, letting it rest on Roxas' shoulder as she gazed up at him.

 

Roxas let his arm around Namine's back tighten around her slightly, to hold her a little closer. His eyes stayed on her, his ocean-blue eyes never leaving her light blue.
