Kingdom Hearts: Fates Anew

kam was on the beach, practicing with his key blade when a man appeared in front of him. "who are you" kam asked.

"my name is ansem" the man said

"what do you want?" kam asked

"i've come to tell you to go to twilight town. your destiny awaits there, but it will only be darkness" he said

"darkness?" kam asked

"yes, your destiny is darkness but your keyblade is called hero's choice. i guess the hero will choose darkness." he laughed, then opened a portal to twilight town."go" he said as he disappeared.

kam walked through the portal and when he came out, he was in the twilight town train station.

 

Her eye caught someone else who was holding a keyblade. She's holding a weapon like mine......what was it called..a...keyblade?....there are many in this place....are they all here?

 

kam saw that there was a festival so he went into the crowd to see whats going on.

 

Yeah...I forgot to mention that the guy told her to look for the other keyblade wielders too......

I guess.....I better go to those her.....

aqua had found the other keyblade wielder. "you have a keyblade too?" she asked.

 

You're talking to true darkness right?

 

not specifically, im talking to anyone who's character has a keyblade and is in the festival.

 

Well...my character made the keyblades disappear...soo......happy hunting!

 

The old man moved away from the center and watched. Light began to manifest itself. With a flash of light, the center of stage was now occupied by small pillar. Plunged into the platform was a keyblade. A silver key like weapon with strange symbols engraved into the blade. Even the keychain had the same symbol.

"What is that?" he muttered to himself as the crowd was beginning to gasp. It was unbelievable. The legends and folktales they've all heard about a key like weapon were true.

The old man stared at the audience. "This weapon was found in a desert plain. The dimension was hard to find." he explained. he pointed at the weapon with his left hand while still focusing his attention on the crowd.

"The legends and folktales are in fact true! The keys that led our destiny do exist!" The audience were amazed and intimidated at the same time.

"Th-then that means the creatures of those legends do exist too!" a nervous man from the audience shouted. The crowd began to get uneasy.

"Well let's not get to ahead of ourselves. The key was found, but it doesn't mean the rest of tales are real." The old man was trying to calm the audience down.

After a long and exhaustful time of calming them down, it seemed as if it'd never end. People were staying only because of the keyblade. The fact that it was a rare sight made them feel reluctant to leave.

Soku stood there just staring at it. It was as if it was calling him.

 

She looked to the stage. it's a weapon just like mine......a bit different though.... She heard the man's comment about the creatures being real in the legends. .....I hope that doesn't happen....but....weren't these the weapons that should be able to defeat those creatures?

 

kam looked up at the stage. he heard ansem's voice in his head. keyblade....
he looked around for ansem but he was no where to be found. "so there are more of these 'keyblades' around here." he said to himself

 

The keyblade was an amazing weapon. Such a weapon could decide the fate of all worlds. Soku stood there; speechless. The old man walked up to the pillar and attempted to pull the keyblade lose. It didn't budge.

"Now, as you can see, this keyblade will not budge an inch." he began. He began to explain how a keyblade chose its wielder. How keyblade would only choose a wielder with a strong heart and etc.

Soku was now interested in the keyblade. It's not like you see a keyblade everyday. The crowd was absolutely quiet. Even the vendors were now part of the audience.

"As you can see, this keyblade has been stuck in this pillar for centuries. How? I don't know. Even I don't understand the nature of such a mystical weapon. I can only gain facts from what I've seen."

 

aqua was staring at the keyblade on the stage. where did he get that? is he a wielder too? she thought to herself.

 

......hm.......well.....it can't be me.......because I'm already chosen by two keyblades........

 

ooc: I can't think of anything else, so I'm just gonna gradually jump into Twilight Town.

"A scratch?" Sera, Tsuki, and Jared turned to the voice. It was the woman from the commitee. She looked ready to have a nervous breakdown, but she laughed. "I wish there was a scratch, that would be a lot simpler than all of this."

"What's going on?" Sera asked, stepping closer to the woman.

"Half of the commitee is gone," the woman confessed, her tone indicating that she wanted this kept between the four of them. "And not just them: We've received reports all day that civilians have been disappearing, but we're not sure why."

"Missing?" Jared repeated in horror, and before he could do anything crazy like offer to track down the source of the problem, Sera grabbed him and started to pull him away, saying over her shoulder, "Good luck with that, and thanks for telling us about the problem."

Jared didn't struggle to get away, which was good because if he did he would suceed. "We should help her," he stated calmly.

Sera rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah, Mr. Knight-In-Shining-Armor, and do what? Wander around the whole city and hope we somehow find where they went without disappearing ourselves?" She pulled him over to a nearby alleyway and let go of him. To her relief, she saw Tsuki had followed her. "This isn't our problem," she said to both of them. "We should just enjoy the rest of the day. The authorities will handle this."

Sera saw Tsuki gasp at something from over Sera's shoulder. "Maybe it is our problem," Sera mumbled, backing away slightly. Jared and Sera turned to see what scared her and gasped as well.

 

.....hmm.....if whoever pulls it out of that stone........then.....I should go with them......

 

i wonder how many keyblades there are....
"it dosent matter. the darkenss is more powerfull than any keyblade" said ansem's voice.
"where are you?" asked kam
"i am the darkness in your heart. havent you heard the story of the keyblade wielders. there was one named......ruki? or was rika? it dosent matter now though. all that matters is a am the same darkness that he wielded. give in to it. its your destiny" said ansem
"never" he said "now be gone from me" said kam.
and then ansem was silent.
ill need to find the other keyblade wielders...

 

ansem doesn't even know the name of Riku? this must've been a long time after KH2....

 

As the old man continued his talk, a flame of light consumed in darkness appeared near the keyblade. It began to fly around the keyblade. No one noticed it at first. Then, it flew over to the old man and began to hover around him. The old man was confused.

"What..what is this?" he asked himself. The flaming orb circled him once more. Then, it flew near pillar and floated to the ground. The minute it touched the floor, a huge percussion could be felt.

Soku's clothes and hair fluttered from the percussion. The audience began to stir. They were muttering amongst themselves. The flaming orb suddenly released a tremendous amount of energy that shook the stage. Soku started to get concerned for the safety of the others. Including the safety for Sazu. He was still no where to be found.

"My goodness.. What is that thing?" the old man muttered as he stared at the being standing before them.

Standing near the pillar was.....Riku. His purple bangs casted a shadow over his eyes; giving him a sinister appearance. His clothes had small details that differed from his original clothes(Kh2). He looked.....corrupted.

 

kam stared at the stage in amzement.
"riku.....yes....thats the one who opened his heart to darkness" said ansem
"then get out of my head and go bother him." kam said
ansem laughed
"im in your heart, not your head." ansem said. then his presence faded away.
