Kingdom Hearts: Fates Anew

She stared into the portal while defending against the heartless. It reminded her of water.

I was always afraid of water.......Ma Ma always said it was because she accidentally dropped me for a little bit while she was bathing me.......but....somehow....I think I was always afraid of water....even before that incident.....but....I have to g-....wait a minute.....Destiny......Island?.......

She turns to the rest of the group.

i'll catch up with you guys later.....you guys can go and I'll cover.

 

Haku looked at her. "Do you trust me?"he asked her.

 

aqua stopped walking and turned around. "come on, its safe! we did it before, and we have to leave before the heartless get us!"

 

I'll be fine.......and....I do trust you.....sort of.......but...that's not why.....I want to stay here a while longer.

 

"ok...if you think you'll be fine..." aqua turned to everyone else. "we'd better go."

 

"Well then I will stay too," he said.

 

Uh..uh...okay......if you want to...........curse my fear of water......must have been in my previous life too.....

 

"im getting out of here" kam said as he headed twards the portal.

Soku followed the group towards the portal. He heard a few people talking about staying behind. He didn't really care. He just wanted to live through this horrible nightmare.

" I hate this nightmare..." he thought as he ran up to the portal. He looked back and three people having a conversation. He shook his head in disappointment. How they talk at a time like this? It didn't matter much. He turned his head a bit higher and looked to the right.

His eyes widened as he saw a figure standing on the small balcony beneath the cafe. The figure was hiding within the shadow, but his features could be noticeable.

"It's...it's the same guy from my....dream..." he muttered in a low shocked tone. He blinked and the figure was gone from sight. Soku looked around, but saw nothing.

It must've been his mind playing tricks on him.

 

Haku grabbed the girl and ran through the portal, dragging Soku with them. They fell out of the portal as it closed. Haku did a faceplant in the sand. "Hey I did it!!" he said brushing the sand off.

 

...the girl was me...right?

She was dazed as she was pulled towards the portal and through it.

.....he...just pulled...me through...to.....an island.......surrounded...by water......

She gazed dumbfoundedly at the water all around on the beach and sand.

....I'm....doomed.....

 

kam looked around at his home."its good to be back" he said with a grin

 

Haku nodded. "Yeah."

 

Her eyes widened in horror.

An......island..........surrounded by.....water........how can this be called a home?....

*sharp intake of breath*

 

Haku took her hand and went down to the water. He let go of her hand and took off his shirt. He waded in and went under. When he came up he shook his head like a dog, his hair flying everywhere. "See it won't hurt you," he said reassuringly.

 

Ahhhh!!!

She jumps back quickly. Why didn't I accept Wei's offer of care?........because I felt I had to be somewhere else.....this sucks.....

 

He held out a hand. "Come on its not bad honest," he said. "Look." He dove under the water and stayed there for a long time. Then he burst up and sent water flying everywhere. "See."

 

Damn it! Leave me alone!

She runs towards the inner part of the island and somehow comes upon a little cave......with a door.....

 

kam sat near the water.peace.... he thought.

 

Haku shrugged and got out. He grabbed his shirt and went to the paupou tree. He sat on it and looked out at the ocean.
