For now though I just wonder what's Ienzo's age and why they all returned to be themselves at the same time(Though this could be handwaved by saying Ansem SoD got all of their hearts absorbed while growing as a Heartless, but that would be just too convenient).

Why does Square-Enix make it so hard to wait? At least we hear more about Neku.

I'm actually working on this crazy video for Dream Drop Distance. I got myself to do Ven's voice, but also someone for Riku and Sora. It really connects to all the news we've gotten and I think it's going to make an impact in the community. I can't wait to post it! The script i wrote...it's just so them!

The Xehanort scene was at the end of the leaked trailer, but the quality is low enough that I couldn't tell what was going on for most of that video.

I figured that given the set up we would see stuff regarding Ven, but Xehanort flashbacks? Or at least I assumed it was a flashback, others here are assuming up to date. Either way I'm interested on the tie in, and of course what it reveals.

So it looks like we saw a scene of the past. It seems this is when the organization first started and when they all turned into Nobodies.

I think it's present time. The Xehanort scene I mean. In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, it's obvious that Xemnas/Xehanort went back to the lab after they all got transformed into nobodies. The secret ending or normal ending of Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded had Yen Sid saying something along the lines of Since Xehanort's heartless was destroyed first, then his nobody, he has come together again. I'm guessing that this happened with Braig and Ienzo and whoever else, including Xehanort. It's apparent that they can go back there, Final Mix scene, and Braig's nobody was destroyed right when Xemnas was too, right? So them both returning to their human form isn't unlikely in my opinion. And it could be TerraXehanort since that's what he looked like before he became Ansem and Xemnas. Well, that's obvious. They both formed back together and made the same body they came from. So, Ienzo and the other dude is whatever about, but Braig and Xehanort definitely makes sense. And why would it be a flash back? At the end of Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Braig asked Xehanort if his memories had returned already. He wouldn't ask again until way later or something big happened. It 75% isn't a flashback, or before Kingdom Hearts, because that would have been the experiment that made them nobodies, and now they look like somebodies again. So I doubt Braig would ask that question unless they became somebodies again.

Well we know that the apprentices were looking into the darkness of the heart and Xehanort's memories, and in that made emblem heartless and by turning themselves into heartless they made themselves nobodies as well. There is a lot we don't know about the time of the apprentices, and in it potentially lies a lot of the mysteries we still have about heartless. I don't think they need to turn that time period into another 358/2 days, but it certainly doesn't surprise me that they would look at it.

As for "something big" happening, the lab is in ruins. I'm thinking this is a scene involving an experiment for Xehanort to restore his memories. I mean, yes we know there are ulterior motives to Xigbar's asking if the memories are back, but in that context it isn't that strange a question.

And I'm not trying to say what it is, it can very easily also be after they are reborn as well.

Yeah, but the lab being in ruins. That part (where they are at currently) wasn't in ruins during Kingdom Hearts II.

Hm, very interesting stuff. I suppose this will be opening a whole new bunch of theories for the KH saga. Speaking of which, better start thinking up some new ones myself.

If it is set just at the point where the Nobodies of Org XIII are first born maybe you could see Axel, or at least Lea again. I have a feeling that when Isa and Lea were sneaking into the castle one time they stumbled across the experiments of the apprentices and were somehow caught up in it's effects. Whether by accident or by the design of Xehanort I don't know :) Just a theory anyways.

I'm really hoping for a bitter sweet ending to the Xehanort saga, but I'd rather Kingdom Hearts ends after Xehanort and a big happy ending. Plus I'm thinking there is something really different about Sora from most keyblade weilders. I think he and Xehanort might make the X-Blade. I am betting that Sora will free Terra with "keyblade master powers" and possibly Ven the same way. I also want to see the realm of darkness without having to buy BBSFM.

They could have cleaned it up... And it didn't really look to be in ruins. Vexen and Zex were on the floor. The only thing I don't get is why if he used the keyblade then did why did none of his other forms (AnsemSoD/Xehanort) use one as well.

It's possible they were rendered unable to.

Considering MX's Keyblade was unable t be used by Terranort post-Aqua fight, it's possible that when he regained these memories, he could have freed his heart(s) and locked the Keyblade once more. However, Xemnas showed signs of Terra and MX (?) memories, so it's fully possible he simply chose not to use it.
