Hey guys. Now that E3 is done and over, we get to see what comes off it. Apparently, Kingdom Hearts 3D made it to the list of nominees for best Role Playing Game.

Here's a List of all the Nominees

To be fair, Kingdom Hearts 3D was one of the only few RPG's being shown, but let's hope it takes the prize. For those who aren't aware, the Game Critics Awards are judged by many gaming plublications (Destructoid, 1UP and Game Informer to name a few)

So what do you think? Should 3D be awarded the prize or do you think it doesn't measure up? Let us know your opinions!

Much thanks to our member Axel91 for yet again brining us this piece of news.

I'd love it if KH3D would win, but it's a sad fact that the game will be ignored for a more popular game. I did some research and found that both KH1 and KH2 were once nominated for the same exact award, and both ended up losing. But a nomination is still nice, I guess...

And your welcome on the news! :)

I think Ni No Kuni should get the win.

KH3D looks like a good game but Ni No Kuni is looking so amazing that I can't wait any longer for it's release.

I don't even consider the other games "RPG"s. KH3D is the only real RPG there.

Anyhow, I hope it gets nominated.

Well it is games that were at E3, of which 95% of the games there aren't out yet ^^

As Much As I'd Like KH3D to Win, I Have a Feeling Skyrim: Dawnguard Will Win The Award. With Skyrim's Success and It's Multiple Game Awards, There's Probably an 80-90% Chance Skyrim's DLC Will Win Best RPG. :/

I am absolutely happy that Dream Drop Distance is up there, and from what I have heard and seen, it definitely deserves its nomination. However, even though there is a bit of a dearth in role playing games within E3, its competitors - especially Ni no Kuni, Dawnguard, and The Golden, would put up an extremely challenging competition. But in such a way, I would be quite fine with any of these four winning - they seem to all be fairly strong, well crafted RPGs in their own right, with lovely stories and already having successful developers and IPs behind them (specifically Ghibli in the case of Ni no Kuni). What is my prediction for the victor, however? Dawnguard, due to a good IP backing and fair bit of popularity amongst critics and gamers alike. That, or Ni no Kuni, for what appears to be a unique sense of artistic direction and creativity.

I personally see that South Park RPG winning just because it has the name South Park written on it.
