Yeah, you're right. Episode 33 came out yesterday. There are 37...

I am so sad the series is coming to an end. Only three more eps...it's sad. Lol

I'll continue this story sometime tomorrow or the next day~

Here it is! We take a different turn in this chapter...just read to find out!

It was dark inside Sora's mind. What was he hiding from him?

Roxas tried to contact Sora. Finally, Sora answered, "Yes, Roxas? What's wrong?" Roxas took a deep breath of relief. He thought for a second that something happened to Sora. Something...bad.

Roxas then said in an upbeat way, "Anything on your mind? Are you hiding anything from me?" Roxas could hear a mocking laugh come from Sora. It was his normal, mocking laugh when he thought Roxas was a fool. Roxas sighed with relief once again. Why did he need to feel so worried today? The atmosphere changed a bit earlier, but not much else. Still, Roxas could guess something might be happening.

"Roxas, of course nothing is wrong. Anyway, wouldn't you be able to read my mind?" Roxas laughed and replied, "Yeah, I can get into your mind. I guess I would know. Sorry!" Roxas rubbed the back of his spikey haired head with his hand.

A sof whisper started to entwine the depths of Roxas's place inside Sora's mind. It seemed to say, "Yes...this is what was meant to be." Roxas cupped a hand over his left ear to hear a bit better. The whisper continued, but it just started to sound like random gibberish. Maybe he thought he heard those words.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~five weeks later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Roxas laughed as Sora ran along the beach after just kissing Kairi. Sometimes Roxas was a little jealous that Sora could see Kairi anytime, but if Namine was awake in her mind and she could see Roxas, well, they could kiss, too. It was a bit akward since they became part of their Somebody, and they never really had a loving relationship before.

Roxas was still imagining Namine's face when a sudden rush of footsteps sounded behind him. He spun around and saw an adult man, maybe around 23, rushing towards him. His brown hair danced behind him as he made his mad dash toward the young keyblade master, and his eyes seemed to be glinting a violent scarlet.

Roxas yelped and tried to summon his keyblade. Nothing was working, not even when he called for it with his voice and soul at the same time. Normally just thinking of it appearing in his mind would summon his weapon. The man was very close, and Roxas started to walk backwards so as to keep a watch on his gaining hunter.

The young man reached into his pocket and took some kind of scrap out. He lifted into the air, and suddenly stopped. All of a sudden, a large invisible hand seemed to grab him in the back. Roxas went black as the invisible man knocked him out over the head.

As Roxas woke up, he found that he was tied with rope. Standing before him was the man, as well as a tall unhuman figure. The man smiled at the Shinigami, who said, "I wonder how I ever found you, Light. Being a Shinigami, I am suprised to find you in all of the realm of nothingness. Who is this here?"

The man named Light smiled, and a chill ran down Roxas's spine. He tried calling Sora for help, but then realized his mouth was covered with a piece of masking tape, and a rag stuffed in his mouth. Light noticed the boy struggling, and then said to Ryuk, "How come I can't kill this boy with the Death Note?"

The word kill made Roxas stop struggling. Light ignored Roxas and listened to Ryuk say, "He literally has no heart. He can not die of a heart attack, or any other method involved with this notebook." Light got an angry look on his eyes. It scared the living daylights out of Roxas, seeing that demonic look in his brown eyes which were once again scarlet.

Roxas started to think, and then was interupted by Light saying, "Look. The boy named Sora picked up the Death Note. Ryuk cackled, and Roxas went white. Ryuk said, "Are you sure this kid can take over being Kira?" Light nodded, a smile on his face.

"Yes, he definatly can. Now with this child", indicating to Roxas, he continued. "He's out of the way. I am free to enter Sora's mind and control him. On this island, he will start from curiosity. I will erase his memory of using the note, to get him confused. By the way, whose notebook was that?"

Ryuk's yellow eyes gazed through Sora's mind and into his eyes. "It's Eris's. He will be there soon, hyuk hyuk hyuk." Light started to make some strange noises deep inside his throat before he threw back his head in a maniac laugh. Roxas's eyes grew wide as he thought, "What will happen to Sora now?"

So, I'm thinking about updating this story later this week. I'll be posting a character sheet for you guys...

If anyone is thinking about joining the D.I.T.F. (Destiny Islands Task Force) then I'll post a few things. You guys will be appearing with Demyx, Axel, Riku and a figmint of Namine starting in the next few chapters. Careful, though. I am the writer and I might twist up the story WITH YOUR CHARACTER, so don't complain if they die, kay? They will make an appearance in the end...you'll see

New chapter guys!

Okay everyone, here's the next chapter~ Oh, and for those of you who want, there's a link to the "trailer" of this fanfic on the post of the previous chapter.

Chapter: 7

Sora sighed, his blue eyes shining in the sunlight. It was early in the morning, and he had thought of going to Riku's house and talking to him about Light. His large, yellow shoes skimmed against the glowing sands of Destiny Islands as he walked, counting each step. He wasn't sure if Light could hear his thoughts, but he didn't really want him to. What if this Kira really was bad? What if Eris was right? Could Light Yagami know about Kairi?
Sora stopped, a strange feeling sweeping over him. He felt very sick, and suddenly his tanned legs buckled from underneathe him. He yelped as he fell face first in the sand, his eyes in pain from the tiny pieces of shattered rock. What if this man could kill her...like Eris said Kira would probably do? What if he tortured her until Sora gave in...?

Sora thought he heard a slight intake of breath in his mind. It didn't sound like one of suprise. It sounded like on of happiness. Sora felt very weak. What kind of start to vacation was this? It hadn't even been three whole days yet. Sora closed his eyes, letting the cool breeze ruffle his sand-covered face. Slowly, he got to his feet and turned around. He could wait to go to Riku's house and tell him about Light. In fact, he could forget about the whole thing.

He turned around to see Eris floating there. He forgot that Eris was always following him and was at first taken aback by the dragon-faced Shinigami. With his golden feathers tinted in the breeze, Eris said, "Are you okay, Sora? You looked like you saw a ghost. Well, if a Shinigami counts as one then maybe you did."

Sora managed to smile, and was instantly embarassed when he realized he had sand stuck around inside his mouth. He started jumping around and spitting, softly howling to himself for being so stupid.

Sora sat down on a rock by the rolling waters. The ocean was a deep blue today, and he expected a lot of people would go to the beach because it was so warm. Sora wondered if he would see Kairi there. He felt he could share the concern he had for her better then with Riku.

Sora wanted to contact Roxas, too. Surely Roxas already knew Light was in his mind. Sora embraced the light inside of him, as he always did, when he wanted to his nobody. Lifting his head, he knew a connection to his mind had been made.

"Roxas?" Sora's call seemed to echo in his mind for a second before a soft yes came. Sora sighed in relief, happy to know that Roxas was okay. Little did Sora know, he was talking to Light. The young nobody was tied and muzzled, and Sora would never know if Light could act as Roxas until he did not need to anymore.

"Oh, thank God Roxas that you are okay." Sora's head was cleared a bit from his concern, but he knew what he wanted to talk about. Meanwhile, Roxas was writhing in anger at how foolish his friend could be.

"Yes, Sora. I am fine. What is wrong? Is it about Kairi?" Sora nodded. Roxas had probably
seen the whole incident and knew what he wanted to talk about, which made it much easier.

"Well, you know what hapenned earlier. I'm worried about Kairi. First, just to make sure, is Light in this part of my mind right now?" Roxas said a steady no, but it seemed a little too fast for Sora. Maybe he was just worried that Light would get in his mind. Maybe Eris had scared him, too.

"Okay. I am worried that he could use Kairi. What if she is killed?" Sora pleaded that Roxas would know. He sighed with relief when he heard Roxas reply, "No, she'll be fine. Light isn't a bad person. I've met him. He just has something against the task force in Japan...he says they got him confused with a twisted person and shot him to death."

Sora then wondered aloud to the supposed Roxas, "Then why would he walk nothingness until finding my mind?" The answer was an unsteady, "I am not sure."

Sora nodded slowly. "Okay, Roxas. I'll cut off this conversation right now. I have to talk with Kairi. A soft mumble of agreement came, and then Sora left his mind. Light turned to Ryuk and the tied up boy. "Hahahaha...just as planned."

"Just as planned." I think my brain exploded. Why Ryuk is there shall have to be explained later. I also wonder how a weaponless young man managed to subdue our beloved Roxas. Perhaps Sora shall eventually go into light-style rants/scary laughter?

 

Just as planned=over used line by Light.

Yeah, Ryuk wasn't very explained. There will be a chapter in Ryuk's point of view when Light first calls for him because of this confusion. Yeah, sometimes I need to explain things.

BTDubs, just set the menu on my tv to tape the next Death Note episode :D

 

Oh no! Roxas forgot that the brains behind Sora are Donald and Goofy or Riku. Also doesn't Sora know that only weirdos talk without contractions?

 

Yeah, let's just say Sora's really gullible.

Me: Since when did Roxas ever say "I am" instead of "I'm"?

Sora: :P dunno it's not like some evil twisted maniac could have tied him up or something der der der.
