    Kingdom Hearts: Crossroad Chronicles

    Prologue

“Hey you guys!” yelled a young girl, “You’re supposed to wait for me!” She ran up the hill to catch up with her friends. This girl is Sango Umi; she’s the laid back kind of girl, but sometimes gets a little too confident with herself. She has short brown hair that stops right above her shoulders, and her wardrobe consisted of a T-shirt, jeans, and a zip-up sweatshirt.
“Come on Sango! We waited for 10 minutes. We can’t wait any longer!” replied another girl. This is Kusa Nohara, the perky one of the group. She likes to wear a sunny yellow dress with short sleeves, and blue jean caprees underneath the dress. She also has black hair that goes half way down her back.
“Stop squabbling and lets go, or we’re going to be late,” sighed the only guy of the group. He’s Kumo Itokuzu, he’s the quit one, but is brilliant with coming up with solutions. He wears a red tank top, and knee-length brown shorts. His hair is short, spiky, and pure white.
    Ding. Ding. Diiiing.
“Oh no!” cried Kusa, “We’re late!” She and the others started running toward the school not knowing what events were going to take place that day.

The class was seated in their desks all quiet and attentive. The teacher handed out the tests form last week and they practiced Algebra problems and read over things from their Reading books.
“Something feels kind of funny today,” whispered Sango.
“You and your weird sensations,” Replied Kusa, “It’s probably nothing.”
“But it was really quiet on the way to school. I didn’t even hear birds chirping this morning.”
“You’ve got a point. And everyone is acting like cyborgs. Our class has never been this quiet before.”
As soon as Kusa stopped talking Sango quickly raised her hand and said “Ms. Chiken, may I please go to the office, I’m not feeling well.” The teacher gave Sango a blank stare and then nodded her head.
“Um we’ll go with her to make sure she gets there ok.” Added Kumo. The three friends were just about to leave the class you when there was a violent shake in the ground. The three fell to the floor, and the rest of the children fell lifelessly to the ground.
“Wh-what’s wrong with them?!” trembled Kusa.
“I don’t know but let’s get out of here!” shouted Kumo. The three ran out the door of the classroom and turned left and then right heading towards the exit. Out of nowhere strange black creatures started coming slowly out of the ground. The creatures stared at Kumo, Kusa, and Sango with their beady yellow eyes.
    “What are they?” asked Kumo.
    “Do't ask me!” replied Sango.
Soon they were surrounded by the black creatures. They stood there taunting the three children, dragging out their doomed fate.
“My God!” shouted Kusa, “Where is everyone anyway!” It was true ever since the shake in the ground and everyone fell to the floor the rest of the kids in their class never came out of the room. Suddenly Sango realized most of the creatures were coming out of the classrooms.
“Th-The creature are everyone from the classroom!” exclaimed Sango, trembling from her own words.
The ground jerked again but everyone managed to stay on there feet. A crack stated forming in the ground a purple-black mist oozed out from it. The creatures with yellow eyes moved back from the crack. Then the crack in the ground spread out, almost reaching the children. Sango and Kusa screamed. The ground shook more violently than before. The black things started closing in on them again, forcing then closer to the huge cracks in the ground. The three were all huddled together; Sango in front and Kumo and Kusa close behind her. They creatures leaped at them, they all screamed in horror. Then…

    Darkness.

    i usually have a hard time transfering detailed thoughts into words. don't know why. i can say them but when writing them, it jsut seems.....harder -_-;

    yea two mroe chapters !!

    Chapter One
    Sango’s Crossroad Fate

    Am I dead?
    No.
I feel the wind, and the hard earth beneath me. But how did I get here?
We were attacked by creatures and then. Hmm, I don’t remember anything else.

Sango slowly opened her eyes taking in the fact she was NOT dead. This was a good thing, since she, and her friends were attacked by weird unknown creatures. Once her eyes adjusted she noticed it was nighttime. Stars were out, and the moon was as big as ever. She seemed to be in a grassy meadow, but not to far from the left there was a small, narrow dirt path.
“How strange, I wonder I got here,†Sango said out loud to herself. “This path was bound to lead somewhere. But which one should I take?†Sango thought to herself. There were four paths, and without a map or an idea of where she heading, she thought she’d probably get lost. Sango felt a presence, and spun around quickly. But no one was there.
“Kumo?†Sango paused and waited for a response. Nothing.
“Kusa?†She waited again. Still nothing. This was really starting to freak her out. She could tell something was watching her, and she hoped it wasn’t those things that attacked her and her friends before.
“Follow you heart and is will guide you to your destiny†said an unknown voice. Sango searched around franticly for a source that the voice came from.
“I must be going crazy. I’ve lost it, I’ve lost my mind.†But something made her aware of one of the roads. A part of her said to take the path in front of her. There was no doubt in her mind that this was the best path to take. She wasn’t scared of what lied ahead. All she knew was that she needed to find her friends and find a way back home.
The path seemed to stretch for miles. But eventually she saw a faint light in the distance. It looked like sunset in the horizon, but that made no sense whatsoever. If it was night here it would probably end up being sunrise sometime soon, but in the distance it was the sunset.
She came close to the outskirts of what seemed like a well-populated town. It was quite a walk but made it without getting lost. Sango wandered around town for an hour, and noticed that the sun’s position never changed while she was here. It was a weird place but the people were friendly and it seemed like a nice town.
“If only I could get someone to help me find my friends.†thought Sango.
She soon found herself in an open lot. It was empty and nothing seemed to “pop†out and tell her something interesting was there. So she started to make her way through until she heard someone.
“Hey! What do you think you’re doing on our turf?!â€
Sango turned out to see a two boys and a girl near a bench in the lot. The one yelling at her wore a trench coat and a shirt that showed off his stomach.
“Yea! No one is allowed here unless we say so! Ya know?†shouted the muscular boy. He was wearing a bright orange tank top and some brown cargo pants.
“Trespasser!†exclaimed the girl in a mono toned voice. She wore brown caprees and a purple take top. Sango could only stare in awe, for she didn’t know what she was doing. So all she could come up with to say was, “Sorry, I’m new here. I’ll leave.†But just as she was about to leave more people showed up.
“Hey Seifer! That’s no way to treat new comers!†shouted a boy. There were a group of people the same age with him, which were a boy boys and a girl. He had blonde-ish brown hair. Wore army pattern pants and a gray vest over a black tank top. Another boy had black hair, which stuck out funny in the headband he was wearing. He was a little chubby and wore a sporty tank top with a number 8 on it, and he also wore long baggy blue jeans. The girl had long brown hair but was separated into two braids. She wore a citrus orange tank top with white flowers on them, and yellow-ish, brown caprees.
The boy in the red tank top called over to Sango, “Hey come with us, we won’t bite.â€
The girl in the braids said, “You probably don’t want to be here when Hayner and Seifer get in a fight!â€
They all seemed nice, and she had nothing else better to do there anyway. So she quickly ran to the group of kids and followed them to their hang out place called The Usual Spot.
Something told her that this town had significance, like something important was here waiting for her. She just hoped her friends were ok.

    Chapter 2
    Kusa’s Dark Endeavors

Kusa followed a white snowy path surrounded by darkness. Eventually she came to a strange meadow. She had been walking down a dirt path for sometime now. Being the wimp she was she sighed, and took a break. Kusa was not the best at long endurance walks. She thought to herself, “Where are my friends? Were they destroyed by those creatures? How do I get home?†There were so many questions, but each one of them mad her sad. Off to her left she heard a small deep chuckle.
“Don’t try anything funny,†Kusa shouted at the weird voice, “I’ll snap you in half if you come near me!â€
On the inside she was laughing her head off. Since grade school she hasn’t even been able to ward of the other kid’s dodgeballs. More or likely if anyone jumped out she’d probably start crying. She hated being scared so easily.
Kusa heard movement behind her, but she was too scared to move. She could feel the hot tears boiling up in her eyes.
    “Calm down, kid.â€
Kusa turned around very slowly to see a man in a black coat with a hood over his head. He slowly took of the hood, to show long red spiky hair, and green marks under his green eyes. Kusa wanted to run. But where would she go? The tears were overflowing her eyelids, and down onto her cheeks. She felt like such a crybaby, but she couldn’t stop herself. Kusa was so frightened, she didn’t know what to do.
“Come on now,†said the and in black, “I didn’t even do anything and your already bawling.â€
“Shut-up!†Kusa snapped back at him. She was too frustrated with herself to get back sassed by some random guy.
“You’ve gotta back-bone. That’s good to know,†the man paused and continued, “Wipe those tears away and come with me.†He held out his hand and motioned it to make it say ‘come here’. Kusa winced away from him.
“You’re just like Kairi,†he rubbed his head, “She didn’t wanna come with me either, but in the end she came anyway.â€
“Holy Crap he kidnapped her!†she thought. Kusa knew she had to get out of there. She turned around as fast as she could but the man in black was right in front of her when she tried to move forward.
“Running isn’t going to do you any good,†after he said that he grabbed Kusa’s wrist hard. She tried to break away form his grasp, but it was no good. The man opened a weird black portal and stepped inside it, dragging her in too. She tried ever so hard to pull away, but the man slowly pulled her into the dark vortex. Kusa’s fears got her so worked up that she fainted.
    ****
Kusa woke up in a purple room. One the other side of the room was another girl. The man before said he captured a girl named Kairi, Kusa was sure it was her.
“Kairi?†Kusa asked. The other girl moved her head away from her knees and just starred at her.
“How do you know my name?†Ka iri asked.
“It’s a long story,†Kusa sighed, “This guy kidnapped me for no reason and said that he kidnapped someone else named Kairi. I figured you were Kairi since you were the only other girl here.â€
Kairi made a face and replied, “Axel.â€
    “Was that the guy’s name?â€
    “Yea, but I don’t see why he’d kidnap you,†she paused, “Sorry. I don’t know your name.â€
Kusa smiled at her, “My name is Kusa Nohara, nice to meet you Kairi.†They exchanged warm smiles to each other, and then Kusa walked over to her and sat down beside her so they could talk better.
“So why did you find it strange that that guy, Axel, kidnapped me?†Kusa asked all confused.
“Well,†she said, “He came after me because he wanted to meet up with Sora and--†Kusa interrupted her.
    “Who’s Sora?â€
“My best friend, we’ve known each other since we were little. He’s the keyblade master.†Kusa gave her a confused look again, Kairi sighed. “The keyblade is an odd key-shaped sword. There are many forms of them, and they all have different abilities with them.â€
“Okay now I get it. So since your Sora’s friend he’ll try and come to save you.â€
“Exactly. And if he does come I’m afraid that those men in black will do something horrible to him.†Kairi exclaimed.
“Wait a minute,†Kusa shouted, “There are more than one of these guys in black. I thought it was bad just having that Axel guy around.â€
“Yes there are more of them. There are 13 of them to be exact, and they call themselves Organization XII.†They were both quiet for a while. And in that time of quiet so many things ran through Kusa’s head.
If they were after Sora, a guy she’s never met, why would they want her here too? If she was not here because of Sora, then what was she here for? But a bang interrupted her thoughts. The door to the purple room opened. The man who opened the door was Axel. Kusa eyes widened, as he grabbed her arm. But this time she didn’t struggle. Kusa watched the door to the purple room close, and Axel and Kusa stepped into a white hallway. Axel let go of her arm. Kusa panicked, she wanted to run! But apart of her said to stay and wait.
“Follow me to your new room. When we get there I need you to change into these,†he handed Kusa a black coat just like his. She starred at the clothes confused.
“Stay there and wait till someone else comes to get you.†He stopped walking. They got to a white door, and he opened it. Everything was white, the bed, the chair in the corner, the desk it was almost blinding. “Please trust me,†he continued, “Because if you try to run again, and escape, Xemnas will have my heaor sure.â€
Kusa stared at him for a while; he seemed so much more kind than before.
“No running away!†he repeated in a more cheerful voice. Then he put his pointer finger to his head and said “Got it memorized?†He closed the door and left her in the room. She wasn’t sure how long she stared at the door in awe, but eventually she put the coat on. Kusa was so confused by all of this. But there was nothing she could do. So Kusa silently waited for someone to come back to the room.

    Chapter 3
    Kumo’s Confusion

It didn’t take Kumo long to realize that he had ended up in another world. He read ancient text in the school’s library that many worlds, other than his own, existed. But they could only be accessed in a special way, through special ships. Even then, sometimes it was impossible to reach another world. They needed to be connected. Kumo pondered forever on these strange occurrences at school that happened not too long ago. Why his world suddenly connected to the other worlds was beyond him. He figured those creatures had something to do with it.
Out of all his pondering he failed to realize his surroundings. He knew it was nighttime, but he didn’t know what the time actually was. He seemed to be in a meadow of some sort, and was walking on a dirt path. He stopped when I got to a fork in the road.
“Wow this is not good,†Kumo thought out loud to himself, “I have absolutely no sense of direction, and I don’t have any leads on where I’m supposed to find Kusa and Sango.†he sighed. He then felt an eerie presence behind him. Kumo took a defensive stance and waited for something to jump out at him.
“Darkness flows within you†a voice said from behind. Kumo turned around quickly to find it was a woman, or so he thought. She wore a black cloak and an odd horned hat. She used a staff to help her walk, and a crow was perched on her shoulder.
    “Just like Riku. No?†she asked.
“I don’t know who this Riku guy is but I am not a villain, thank you very much!†Kumo shouted at the vile woman.
“Oh, but you do posses great strength. The darkness is not all that bad, once you learn to use it properly.â€
“I don’t want this dark power, I just wanna find my friends and go home!â€
She stood there with an evil grin on her face and then said, “Very much like Riku. He too came for my help, in search for his friends. But his best friend turned on him and let darkness consume him.â€
“You are so full of it! I know my friends won’t turn on me! I won’t turn on them either!†Kumo shouted with anger.
She snickered at his words, “There are many heartless out there, and you have no way to defend yourself. I sure you heart will disappear if you have nothing to protect you.â€
    “Heartless?†I asked.
“Yes, such creatures dwell in the shadows,†She waved her hand and black shadow-like figure appeared. To Kumo’s surprise they were the same creatures from school. “They crave the darkness in people hearts.†She continued, “Everyone, including me, has darkness in their hearts. Except for a select few, The Princesses of Heart, that is. They have the purest of hearts, which hold no darkness.â€
“I don’t care about your dumb princesses!†Kumo stomped off to the right path. But the heartless moved in front of his path.
“Not so fast my dear. I haven’t given you my parting gift yet.†Out of nowhere a black orb appeared in his hand. He starred into its endless black center. Kumo looked up to tell the old bat to take it back. But she was gone, and so were the heartless. He sighed again and shoved the orb into his pocket. He traveled down the path again.
It took him a while but in the end the path lead to a strange portal of light. He looked around the back of it to see the path still going. It was pointless to keep going along the never-ending path. So he took a deep breath and stepped into the white portal.
Kumo opened his eyes and found himself sitting in a chair. Around him was a rounded bookshelf that seemed to hug the wall. In front of him was a desk, and on the walls were odd diagrams of some sort and a picture of a young man, about in his 20’s. The side of the man hair was spiked back, but the back of his hair naturally flowed down to his shoulders.
He pushed himself away from the desk, but when he did a small noise from behind caught his attention. Part of the wall disappeared and revealed a path. A man came around the corner and stopped and looked at Kumo. He had dark brown spiked hair, and wore a jacket with a fuzzy collar on it.
“What do you think you doing here!†the man snapped at him.
“Um…I followed a strange dirt road to a portal and I somehow wound up here.†Kumo said sheepishly.
His expression changed form aggressive to curious. “I have a feeling there is more to your story. Come with me.†He led Kumo through a long hallway to the outside. They were going to a house that belonged to a guy named Merlin. Along the walk Kumo started to ponder again.

    Chapter 4
    Twilight Town

“So when did you get here? To Twilight Town I mean,†asked the chubby kid.
“Oh not long,†Sango replied, “I just got here anyways.†The girl in braids handed everyone ice cream, and they started their conversation again.
“Well first things first, my name is Sango Umi. Nice to meet you,†said Sango with a warm smile.
The guy in the army print pants went next, “My name’s Hayner!â€
“I’m Olette, a pleasure to meet you,†Said the girl in braids.
Then the chubby kid said, “I’m Pence! Welcome to Twilight Townâ€
“So what about those weird things that have been popping up all over town,†asked Hayner.
“Not sure but I heard they’ve been attacking people all over the town! There are rumors that they’re coming from the haunted mansion!†exclaimed Pence.
Sango interrupted their conversation, “What did these creatures look like?â€
“From what I’ve heard they’re white and they wiggle and squirm everywhere!†replied Hayner.
Sango thought to herself, “They aren’t black like the ones from our home. But strange creatures are attacking things everywhere. Maybe these new creatures may help me solve the problem to what happened to my home.†Sango brought herself back to the conversation.
“So what are we gunna do? Stay indoors?†asked Pence.
“No way! We can’t do that! The Struggle tournament is coming up soon,†complained Hayner.
“What else are we supposed to do,†said Pence, “People who’ve been attacked be them have disappeared, and transformed into black creatures!â€
    “You mean Heartless,†added Olette
    This caught Sango’s attention.
“Theses black creatures, do they have yellow beady eyes, and twitch as they move around?†asked Sango.
“Yea how did you know?†asked Hayner, “I thought you were new to this town.â€
“I am new but I’ve seen these creatures before! They attacked me and my friends, that’s why I’m here,†exclaimed Sango.
“What happened to your friends?†asked Olette.
Sango sighed and told her story of what happened at her school.
“So you’re saying your form another world?!†shouted Pence.
“Well I guess so. So have you guys seen my friends?†Sango asked impatiently. They all shook their heads no. Sango sighed again.
Out of nowhere black orbs appeared in the room and out of them popped the black creatures from their conversation. Most of them jumped at Sango’s new friends and they fell to the ground, immobilized somehow. The rest of them jumped at Sango. But just before they hit a white light appeared. Sango closed her eyes, and when she opened them there was a strange weapon in her hand. It was blue and made of crystal. The end of the weapon had crystal rods pointing out everywhere.
“Hey use the keyblade to defeat the Heartless!†shouted Hayner. Sango then swung the weapon at the Heartless. One by one they disappeared leaving a floating heart behind that eventually drifted away and disappeared.
    “Good job Sango!†cheered Pence.
Then the cloth that served as the door to the hang out suddenly flew open. In came a boy with spiky brown hair and wore a tank top with a short-sleeve overcoat and shorts. He was carrying a weapon just like the one Sango. There were two other people, or things with him. One was a giant duck with a funky hat and a staff. The other was a human-like dog with a shield.
“I heard someone mention heartless! Is everyone ok?†asked the boy with the odd weapon. He then looked at me and then at the weapon I was holding.
“Sora!†shouted Hayner and the gang. Sora smiled and waved.
“So, who’s the new girl with you? And when did she get that.†Sora said as he pointed to my weapon.
“That’s Sango Umi, she’s new here.†Said Hayner as her pointed to Sango, “As for that keyblade, it just appeared in her hand just a few seconds ago, when the heartless attacked us.â€
    “ I see.†Sore sighed, “So Sango how’d you get to this town.â€
Sango was still a little stiff after the heartless battle she just had. But she snapped herself out of her daze and replied, “Um well I followed a dirt path in a meadow to get here, but before that I’m not sure how I got to the meadow. I only remember heartless attacking my friends at our school. Then I woke up in the meadow.â€
“Hmmm,†Sora pondered, “It seems like your world was destroyed, and you and your friends got separated and sent to other worlds.†I tried to soak it all in. I realized it was in a new place that I have never known about, but a new world, that was a big reality check for me.
“Wow, a new world. Never would’ve thought that it would happen to me.†Sango commented.
“Well have you found any of your friends here?†asked Sora.
“No I haven’t,†said Sango with sadness in her voice.
“Well if you haven’t made any progress here, why not come with us?†suggested Sora with a smile.
Then the duck started going berserk, “No way! She can’t come with us! We’d be meddling again!â€
“Come on Donald! Her world was destroyed!†complained Sora.
    “I don’t care!†snapped Donald.
    “Uh guys,†said the Dog-thing.
“Stay out of this Goofy!†shouted Donald.
Goofy then leaned toward Donald and whispered, “Look.†He pointed over to Sango. Her head hung low and her expression was blank.
Sango looked up and tried to smile, “I’m sure you have your reasons why I can’t come. But there are so many questions that haven’t been answered yet. Where my friends went, where this weapon came from, and what is going to happen to my friends, and me when we do find each other. I really want to help! If I got this weapon I can protect myself! So you don’t have to worry about me…â€
Donald’s face went from angry to sad.
“Oooooh, fine, she can come,†pouted Donald. Sora and goofy jumped up and down with joy.
Sango smiled wide and turned to Hayner and the others, “It was so great to meet al of you! I’m hope we’ll see each other again. I hope none of those heartless come back either.†Sango waved good-bye and followed Sora and his friends out of the alley.
Donald waved his staff around and above the buildings of the town appeared a ship. A beam of light lluminated the street they were on. Then they were inside the ship.
“Okay, first things first! No touching anything! And put on your seatbelt!†explained Donald. Then he and the others took their seats and got prepared for take off. Sango quickly got herself in a seat and took a deep breath.
She was going to finally find her friends. The future looked bright for Sango, but as for Kusa…now that was another story.

    Chapter 5
    Chained Memories

The door to the white room opened. Kusa put up her hood. A man with long flowing blue hair came into the room and said, “Good. You changed into your new outfit. Come with me.”
Kusa leaped off the bed and followed the man down the hall and then we came to a wall. He opened a black portal like the man Axel did before. He stepped into the portal, Kusa followed.
They were in another white room, but this one had a big window in it. And drawings were scattered all over the floor. Then another portal appeared on the other side of the room. A girl in a white dress with blonde hair came flying out of the portal.
“You should’ve listened, kitten.” A man stepped out of the other portal. He had black and grey streaked hair pulled back into a ponytail. He had an eye patch over his left eye.
The girl in the white dress tried to get up, but then the man in the ponytail grabbed her by her hair and yanked it up so she would stand up faster. Tears were rolling down her face; eyes were wide with fear.
The man with blue hair spoke up, “Xigbar please don’t tell me you didn’t hurt Naminé too much. We need her to be strong enough to have her perform her ability.”
Xigbar smirked and replied, “Don’t worry Saix. She’s just a little shaken up that’s all.” Xigbar then whispered something into Naminé’s ear.
“Why?” Naminé asked with worried looked on her face.
“’Cause I said Xemnas said so.” Sneered Xigbar, “That girl over there can help us with our plan, but we need your gift to make sure everything goes according to plan.”
Naminé covered her ears and started screaming, “No I won’t help you! I won’t help you hurt anymore people,” her voice then went to a whisper, but loud enough for everyone to hear, “I won’t hurt anyone, after what Marluxia tried to do to Sora…” She then trailed off into silence.
“What do you…?” Kusa voice broke then she tried again, “What do you plan to do with me you freaks?!”
Everyone stared at Kusa. They all seemed surprised by her will to speak to them.
“Naminé I suggest you make things quick, or we’ll put you back into the darkness again,” said Saix, breaking the long silence. Saix walked over to Naminé and handed her a notebook. Naminé’s eyes went emotionless as she began drawing in the notebook.
Out of nowhere the room in front of Kusa went black. Everyone disappeared. Kusa felt a wave of panic sweep over her. A floating heart appeared before her. It was wrapped heavily in chains. Each chain link was somewhat transparent, but looked like there was a video playing in each one. One was showing Kusa and her friends playing tag in the 3rd grade. Another showed the speech Kusa had to give for her English class, 3 weeks back.
That when it hit her. The chains were her memories, locking up her heart. Then, suddenly, the chains snapped, and Kusa fainted again.
“Good job Naminé. Now put the new chains into place. Make them exactly like we said.” Xigbar and Saix left the room.
“Do you think she’ll do it like we said?” asked Xigbar.
"She must or her other half will suffer the consequences,” Commented Saix. The two some left through a black portal and left Naminé to her work.
Naminé starred down at Kusa’s lifeless body and said, “I’ll make the chains exactly the way the others said, but you must remember what is important to you, Kusa.” Then she smiled, “ your friends. Your freinds are what will save you from the darkness, just like Sora.”

    Chapter 5
    New Friends

After walking for a little while Kumo and the older man got to a house in the middle of the town. Leon opened the door to the house, and inside were four people. There was a girl with short black hair a black tank top, short shorts, and a black headband. There was also a man dressed in a long blue robe that made him seem like a wizard. He also had a white beard and a blue hat. Another man with short, blonde hair, a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and a weird orange belt that wrapped around his stomach was in the room too. And last there was another girl with a long brown hair an odd long bangs, she wore a pink dress with a dark pink overcoat and boats.
“Hiya!†said the girl with the headband, “Welcome to the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee! Are you here to sign--?â€
“Yuffie,†interrupted that man that led Kumo there, “He’s not here for that.â€
“Oh darn, well it’s always good to ask.†pouted Yuffie.
“Well if he’s not here for the committee, then why is he here,†asked the guy in the orange belt.
“Don’t pester the boy, Cid. I knew you were coming, my boy,†said the wizard, “Your home was destroyed by the heartless and you wound up here, no?â€
Kumo was shocked by how much the old man knew, “Yea that’s what happened sir.â€
“Please, call me Merlin,†Suggested the wizard.
“So Squall, what do you plan to do with him; place him in the foster homes for world castaways?†asked Yuffie.
“Don’t call me that,†said the man in with brown hair to Yuffie. He then turned to Kumo and said, “Call me Leon. As you can see these are Yuffie, Cid, Merlin, Aerith, and--†The door opened up and in stepped a man with bright blonde, spiky hair. He wore a black tank top and black jeans, and a trench coat with only one sleeve.
“The town’s system is going haywire again. Now the self-defense system is attacking the townspeople other than the heartless! On top of that new cyber heartless are popping up all over too,†said the main in black.
“No! This is getting worse than I thought. We can’t handle this anymore,†then Leon turned to the wizard, “Merlin! Get Sora and the others here now! We can’t afford to waste anymore time!â€
“I’ll go and look out for the townsfolk!†chimed Yuffie. Then she vanished in a poof of smoke.
“Kumo,†said Leon in a stern voice, “You need to come with me.â€
“Hey, I can’t fight! What do you think I can do against those heartless?!†shouted Kumo.
“Don’t worry. You’re not the one who will be fighting,†smirked Leon. The two of them ran out the door. As soon as they stepped outside 6 heartless appeared before them. Leon jumped into the air, and a sword appeared in his had. When he came down he swung the gunblade and all of the heartless disappeared, and they continued running.
“Hey,†panted Kumo, “Where are we going?â€
“Back to the room where you were when you first came here, its Ansem’s Computer room,†explained Leon.
Suddenly two huge heartless dropped down in front of Leon and Kumo, blocking their path.
“Big Body heartless,†Leon gasped, “Kumo go! These guys will take a while!†Kumo went to sprint away from the battle but another Big Body heartless jumped in front of Kumo knocking him to the ground. Kumo got up and the big body swung his arm at Kumo sending him flying against the rocky wall. The big body jumped at Kumo again but this time Kumo rolled out of the way. Kumo say something on the ground a few feet away from him. It was the orb that the crazy lady gave him back in the meadow. The big body turned at him and jumped at him once more. Kumo dashed over the orb on the ground and grabbed it and rolled across the ground. Kumo stood up and starred at the orb.
“Come on you stupid orb! The witch said you could defend me now WOOOOORK!!!†shouted Kumo. The orb emitted a black eerie light form within it. Then a white light burst form within the orb. The orb shattered and shards formed into bat-wing-like sword.
Kumo starred at the weapon in awe, but the big body punched Kumo in the face and Kumo, flew through the air, and bounced against the ground. Kumo took on offensive stance then he plugged forward that the heartless. The sword sliced right through the heartless and the heartless turned in to black smoke and disappeared.
Leon rushed over to Kumo and said, “You ok? I never thought you’d be able to take down that heartless. You never told me you had weapon with you eitherâ€
“It sorta just got here Leon, said Kumo sheepishly.
    “No matter, now let’s go.â€
Kumo and Leon continued towards the path to the computer room. Kumo was ready for anything, now that he had a weapon and new friends to help him.

Not to be mean or anything, but you need to work on your spelling and your use of their, they're, and there.
Other than that the story is turning out great!
