Kingdom Hearts: Chasing Shadows

Since the lighting struck in a relative place where Keel could see, it wasn't that hard to tell that something was going on. "Looks like we'll have to hold off on going sight seeng for now." He said as smoke was rising form the marketplace.

 

"Who was that, Sora," Kirra asked.

"Aladdin," Sora quickly answered. "He helped us with defeating the Heartless and Jafar the last time we were here. It doesn't look like he's doing too good though." Without a second though, Sora began to run after his friend.

"Wind!" Nox called out, raising his right arm into the air.
Around the borders of the city, the wind slowly began to pick up. The dirt from the ground began to create a barrier around the city. He knew that it could only last for a little while, so he knew that they had to find the heart of the world soon.

 

Aladdin scurried across roof-tops and drew a large scimitar. "That's far enough!" Apu bounced and pointed a finger at Larxene. Larxene grinned ferally and rushed him. "Whoa!" Aladdin scampered backwards, trying to avoid Larxene's precision hits.

Xenree calmly started to make her way into the burning bazaar. Her keyblade, Dark Void glowing darkly in her hand. It won't be long now... she thought, Soon...I'll return home...I'll cast aside these fools...and I'll be reunited with you...Father...

 

Sora and Kirra ran after Aladdin until the two of them were stopped. Part of Sora's breath vanished when he saw the blonde haired girl. For some reason, a part of him felt like he had seen her before. He noticed the Organization XII coat, so he knew that she was not going to be a friendly person. Still, he stood uneasy at the ground, focusing on her.

"Have we...met before," Sora decided to ask the blonde haired girl.

Shinji quickly followed Sora who given a quick explatnation of the man they just met and heard Sora's question and stared at the blonde haired girl who wielded what was knives? Something about this woman's presence was disturbing him, was it the way she radiated her behaviour or how she looked? He knew one thing, this person wasn't someone to take on ill-prepapred for battle, and judging by her trying to attack Sora's friend, Aladdin.

"Remain on guard Sora, the mere presence of this woman disturbs me for some reason." Shinji said quite seriously.

 

Larxene gave a faint wave and grinned, "Long time no see, Heartless Hero! I see you're not dead yet." Larxene's teal eyes narrowed on Shinji, "Who're you to judge me?!" Aladdin and Abu landed beside Sora, "I'm Larxene. Number XII of Organization XIII and The Dark Queen's favorite!"

Xenree stopped in the middle of the scorched bazaar and touched a hand to the ground, "This is the place." A faint, admiring smile briefly flitted across her lips before she stabbed Dark Void into the ground.

 

"I can judge people however I see fit, I have a right to that option, Number XII." SHinji said with a small smirk at the corner of his lips. but he was pondering on what this woman spoke of. "Could this Organization be the cause of the worlds being threatened? No, not just that she says she has a higher up, a Dark Queen but a favourite? Is that self-proclaimed or does she truly mean it?" He thought, taking notice of Aladden's presence with Sora.

"So what brings a favourite servant of this 'Dark Queen' out in a scorching hot desert town like this? If it's for a holiday season, you aren't well dressed for the occasion." He said humorously.

 

Larxene fumed, "We're here because she's here! Our Dark Queen...in all her glory, intends to steal away the World Heart of Agrabah! And then...you'll all know what it means to be in pain!" Larxene flicked her knives at them, following it up with jolts of lightning.

 

Nox stared at Xenree as she cast her attack. He felt his wind shield slowly falling apart around the city. Now that his mind was focused, he felt something that he didn't pay attention to before. It was a familiar feeling in his being; he could feel that Alexander was also in Agrabah, around the same place as the Organization XIII members. Nox summoned his Keyblade to his side and bowed in front of Xenree.

"My Queen," He said in a noble voice,"familiar foes are among those you have recruited. Allow me to aid you in taking this world's heart, before they come our way. We mustn't leave anything to chance."

"Shield," Sora called out, casting a shield over his friends. Unfortunately, he was slightly struck by Larxene's attack. There was a faint memory in his heart about something similar by this woman, but he couldn't figure out what. Larxene's attacked hurt Sora, but he tried his best not to show it. He was ready to attack when he saw that Kirra had collapsed.

"Sora," Kirra said in a weak voice, "something's wrong.It feels...like the world is telling me something. Someone's hurting it; we have to help."

Alexander was doing his best to pay attention to what was going on in the middle of things. His mind was clouded though by a familiar dark presence. It was the one that challenged him back in Twilight Town. He looked out at the heroes on the other side, the brown haired boy aiding the girl who fell. His eyes widened, mostly in shock.

"Is that...my sister?"

 

OOC: Carries with the other group so yeah not much I can do lol..

 

Larxene grinned, "S'matter, Sora? Feeling a bit slow?"

Xenree snarled back at Nox, "No! No one else must touch the Heart!" She fell to both knees on the ground, gripping her keyblade tightly, For you....always for you, Father. I'll never fail... Bolts of dark lightning shot upwards from the ground and around Xenree before the Heart started to emerge from the ground.

Sei sniffed at the air and bolted off, "I smell Heartless!" He ran towards the bazaar where Xenree and Nox were.

Riku shifted, Souleater ready at his side. "Sora! I'll handle her, you go with Kirra and find the Darkness." Deflecting more of the knives Larxene threw at them, Riku and Akii still attached to him, ran up the side of the building to meet her.

 

"Sei!" Carrie shouted as she ran after him. "Slow down!"

 

Shinji was protected by Sora's magic, it seemed this woman was really an enemy and RIku said he'll take over so Sora could focus on findignthe Darkness. "Got it, I'll accompany you Sora, RIku, try not to get beaten by this strange woman otherwise, I may have to save your butt." He said before he noticed Larxene's reaction by those words and summoned hsi Keyblade to delfect knives that were aimed at him for that comment.

"Sorry, I'd love to dance but I have better things to attend to." he said and continued. "You sense where this hurt is Kirra? Lead us there."

 

Nikolai saw from his position that Xenree and Nox had the World Heart under control, so he decided to support Larxene. He teleported next to her, Rapture summoned. "I'll help...you...Impossible!" He exclaimed as he saw Riku. "So it is more than fate that has brought me here." He said to himself before charging his Keyblade with darkness. "Today I will show that I was the better student!" He thought, readying himself for Riku.

 

"Here we go again." Keel said, running after Carrie and Sei.

 

"I can feel it, er, it hurts though," Kirra said to her friends. She wobbled standing up, but following the feeling that was going on in her heart. It was leading her through every short cut through Agrabah until she finally made it to the source of the world's hurt. She focused her sights on Xenree, terrified by her prescience. Sora quickly followed behind her, his Keyblade in hand. "W-what's going on here?"

 

Riku's memory briefly matched Nickolai with the other student he'd had trouble remembering in a second and tossed a ball of dark fire towards him and clashed with Larxene. Larxene laughed, shoving back against him, "You're no different than the Replica! I'll kill you and then...our Dark Queen will change you to our side!" Akii stuck her head over Riku's shoulder, her silver eyes flashing as she lifted a tiny white hand and white jagged streaks of energy surged out of her palm, heading towards Nickolai.

Xenree pushed herself up, yanked her Keyblade out of the ground and set her gloved hand on the crystaline World Heart. "One more heart...soon...soon my dream will become reality." Turning on her heel, she turned to face Kirra and Sora, her hand sliding from the World Heart, "You...you're the one..." Her silver eyes flashed with anger, "I felt you before...in Twilight Town."

Sei stopped, panting as he watched the black haired woman glaring at the boy with spiky brown hair. "M...mom?"

 

Carrie starred at the younger boy wide eyed. She couldn't believe it... Did he just say Mom? Could this woman really be Sei's mother? If so then why did she seem... so dark-Carrie could tell that woman was not good news just by the look of her.

 

Wait, so the women that tried to destroy twilight town is Sei's mom! Keel thought as he quickly exchange glance between Sei and Xenree. As far as he could tell, there was nothing alike between the two, so how could he be related to her let alone be her son.
