Kingdom Hearts: Chasing Shadows

Xenree frowned and tripped Nox with a black booted foot. "Hey now...he wanted to look, let him look. Besides we all know Nobodies don't have feelings. Right Xemnas? Have you had your fill?" Xemnas took in her pale body and especially the markings. "What are you? One who calls upon the darkness at will...who lives in harmony with something of discord? Forgive me, my Dark Queen...I hadn't realized." Xenree grinned as he knelt at the side of her bed and stood, one foot digging in the heel of her boot into Nox's back as she pulled on her coat. "Now that that's settled...the rest of your little group... It's time. I've enough energy for them to come through."

Akii pouted on Riku's back as he picked himself up, watching the odd creatures. "They don't look like Nobodies...or Heartless...what are they?" Akii poked his cheek, "They're Twisted and Fakes. My momma created them. She must be close by! Quick, quick, go find her!"

Saix embraced her and Axel wormed out of the hug. He smiled sheepishly as the rest of his old memories came back. Frowning...Axel grabbed Saix's arm, "What're you doing?" he asked and forced Saix to drop the tiny version of his giant sword. Saix growled, tightening his hold on Carrie. "If I can't kill her this way...then you'll do it. She's a threat to our new Lady, Axel. A Keyblade bearer."

 

Carrie stood in horror as Lea saved her from Isa... He tried to kill her... One of her best friends just tried to kill her... Tears filled up her eyes. "Isa how could you?" she turned to Lea, trying to break free of Isa's hold. "Le-le... You wouldn't try to kill me... Would you?" She stared in horror wishing this would all just be a dream...

Nox felt completely idiotic at this point. Being the hero in this situation was really a bad idea, and ended up with him being dominated over Xenree. Oddly, her foot pressing onto him wasn't something he seemed to mind. His twisted mind found the feeling very pleasant. He growled as Xemnas spoke, calling her the Dark Queen. She belonged to nobody but Nox, that's how he saw it. Destroying Xemnas was now essential for him, but he felt that Xenree needed him. To that, he smiled. He's only being used for our goals; once that's done, we can get rid of him. Then we'll see who gets the peep shows.

"Her momma," Kirra gasped. She clutched her Keyblade, continuing to destroy the enemies. Right now, her main focus was to keep the kid safe. One thing she understood above all was the importance of family.

 

Axel backed away in horror. "What're you doing, Saix? Our....our Lady....? You mean the woman in black? Carrie means more to me than she does!" He grabbed the back of Carrie's shirt and yanked her away from Saix. "You're going to make me angry...Lea." He gritted his teeth, "I don't care. She's our friend!"

Akii simply nodded to Kirra and started to clap. Each of the Fakes froze and tilted their deformed heads. The Twisted buried themselves underground at the sound.

Xenree motioned for Xemnas to leave and let Nox up. Sighing, she ran her fingers through her black hair. "Hmm...I don't suppose you want to explain why you tried to eliminate someone I need, Nox?" Her silver eyes narrowed on a stack of papers on her desk inside her rooms and she inwardly groaned at the thought of paperwork. Validating all the contracts with the Organization members would drive her insane...not that she hadn't crossed that bridge already.

 

Lea would never know how much his words touched her heart- how happy it made her that he cared about her-but that didn't stop the tears from falling down her cheeks. Why couldn't things go back to the way they were before... Why did Isa want to kill her? What had happened to her friends in the last years? She wrapped her arms around Lea, knowing that the red head wouldn't hurt her. "Please... Don't fight!" she said through her tears.

Nox wasn't quite sure about how he was going to explain it. "Xemnas was taking advantage of you, I couldn't let him hurt you, even if it helped our plan." Nox wasn't quite sure what was going on. He was speaking without thinking first. He hated the feeling that was going through his body. He didn't want to face the fact that he really cared for Xenree. "Whether you feel or not, I still can. And guess what; because of you, I'm feeling the absolute worst thing possible. It's love, and it tastes absolutely disgusting."

Alexander had enough with sitting along the sidelines. He knew exactly which side to take in the situation. He stood between Siax and Axel, lifting his Keyblade up at Siax. "You will leave them alone, now."

The simple nod filled Kirra wit a new boost of energy. She went out, attacking the enemies with all of her strength.

 

Seeing that Sa'i'x would probably start a fight with Axel despite his friend's begging, he decided to step in and do whatever it took to get the innocent from harm...By doing something EXTREMELY random. He ran in to the middle of Sa'i'x and Axel, who was holding Carrie, and said to Sa'i'x, "If you beat me in a staring contest then you can go kill her...Okay, not really, but I'll let you try to kill her!" Poke hoped that Axel would get the message and take Carrie away.

 

"Otherwise, you'll have to got through us." Keel said as he moved next to Alex. It wasn't in plan to get into another fight, but unlike the last one this one had no alternatives.

 

Saix growled, his hair becoming frizzy and his golden eyes wild as his beserker nature took over. If Saix had been a rational person at the time, he would've mocked Poke but currently, all he saw were targets in the way of his job. "MOVE!" he snarled and Axel summoned his chakrams. He didn't like the idea of fighting Saix but for an old friend, he'd do anything. "Saix, stop. This isn't worth it. Xenree said only to secure Radient Garden, not kill the people we knew." Saix's snarl didn't leave his face.
Renee slumped to the ground, her arms wrapped around Sei as they both trembled, "Did you say..." "Xenree...?" Sei finished Renee's sentence. His silver eyes wide.
Saix released Carrie and regained his composure. "If she's angry about this, Axel...it's your fault. I'll have no part in your faults this time around." Axel's green eyes lowered to the ground and he nodded once.

Xenree tilted her head to the side in confusiong. "Love... Don't speak of such nonsense Nox. Love does not exist. Mention this to me again and I will cast you out into the darkness without a shred of mercy." Her silver eyes hardened and she jumped up, snatching the pile of papers from her desk. A small pillar of darkness rose from the ground and held each paper aloft in the air. She stood silently examining each one. As much as paperwork annoyed her, talking about feelings that she couldn't feel annoyed her even more.

Riku stretched as they finished up with the Fakes. With Akii still on his back like a lightweight backpack, he reached behind him and plucked her off. "Alright, little one. Why Twilight Town? Where's your mom, this Dark Queen?" Akii squealed in delight as he held her upside down in front of him and clapped her hands, "Mamma used to take me here to play. She let me play tag with the Shadow Heartless or the Flood Unversed. Lately it was horsey with the Twisted. The Fakes don't like me much though. Mamma said I emit too much light for their eyes."

 

"Trust me, I wish I could forget," Nox told her in a cold voice. He left the room, doing his best to forget the idiocy that happened in the room only moments ago.

"Well, I guess we should start looking," Sora suggested as he knelt down to her eye level. "Where exactly here did you use to play?"

 

"Lea!" She shouted as Both he and Isa fought. Carrie couldn't help by trumble as Isa changed... "Isa.." the girl murmured. "What has happened to..." She wasn't sure if anyone heard her,but she really didn't care. As she watched them talk about some girl-she guessed anyway- and Sei knowing the name, she tilted her head. "Who's Xenree?"

Poke's facial expression went black, before slowly sidestepping out awkwardly. "That was awkward...Hey, the long haired guy has a--Wait, whaaa??" He just realized at what the two black-coated dudes were saying. "Secure Radiant Garden? What exactly does that mean??" He said, now getting curious and ready to fight if needed to.

 

Nikolai stepped in to keep the other wielders from interfering with Saix and Axel's confrontation. He stepped up to Poke and summoned his Keyblade. "It means you and your friends stay out of the way, or you'll be 'secured' too." He threatened, the tip of his Keyblade pointing at Poke's chest.

 

"Hey!" Carrie shouted as the boy pointed his keyblade at the other boys chest. "Leave him alone!" She said, summoning her own keyblade.

Nikolai pulled the Keyblade away from Poke. "Well, well, Lookie here. Now, usually I wouldn't be the one hitting girls, but my mission is to secure Radiant Garden, and eliminate all obstacles. Low and behold, here's obstacles." He said. He closed his eyes, and held the hilt of his Keyblade to his chest, the blade going upward. Darkness began to engulf the blade and Nikolai's hands, and when he re-opened his eyes, his pupils were a demonic red. "Let's get this show on the road!" He said, going into his battle stance.
(OOC: You may throw the first blow. :3)

 

Poke simply stared at the demon Nikolai, before desummoning his keyblade and randomly and suddenly saying, "Ohai! You're the one I met back at Twilight Town! Whazaaap?" He asked, seeming to be honest...or not, considering that he was decisive at some points.
(Poke wouldn't take the first shot in this situation XD)

 

Without a word, Nikolai pointed his Keyblade at Poke and smirked. "Oh, me? I'm fine. You, on the other hand..." He cast his one of his personal favorite spells, Sonic Boom, which is an altered version of the spell Gravity, to send Poke flying backwards. "Are not."

His expression stayed the same, before summoning his keyblade which turned in to vehicle form before he stepped on it and flew off as he yelled, "BEE AR BEE!"...to unknown locations...But he was still in Radiant Garden.
(I pronounce letters as....er....A - ay. B - bee XD)

 

Saix and Axel glanced at Sei and Renee before answering Carrie. "Our Dark Queen. The one who ressurected us from the Darkness. This time...she'll give us hearts...and we'll help this time, so much more than before." Axel's green eyes stayed fixed on the ground, his expression troubled.
Renee shivered as if a cold wind had blown over her skin. "Xenree is a foul person...an awful incarnation of darkness itself. She's...huh?" he touched her lips, "How did I know that?"

Xenree didn't allow herself to watch as he left, but she could feel it. A lack of presence in the room that left her alone...but...truth be told, she was never alone. "You can come out now, Lucretia." Out of a dark corridor in the wall, a woman wearing white thigh high stockings, a white dress that ended just above her stockings and flared at her wrists. Japanese sandals gave her height and a white linen bandage wrapped around her right eye gave her an odd appearance. Her single red eye glittered with amusement as she stuck her head out of the darkness, "But watching you squirm is so much fun, Xenree-kun. Your friend is unhappy that you turned him down." Xenree refused to take her words into her actions.

Akii tapped her chin, still hanging upside down and pointed towards the tunnels. "Up there. Mamma would take us into the Tunnels to play hide-and-seek, but we played tag in the Sandlot here. And Horsey by the Train Station." Riku wiggled her and she giggled again. "So no specific place... Sora, I think we should head to Yen Sid's and ask him about Akii's mother."

 

Carrie couldn't help but sigh. " I have to agree with her," she said. nodding her head towards the other girl. "How do you know you can trust her? How do you know she's telling the truth? How do you know she can give your hearts back?"
