Kingdom Hearts: Chasing Shadows

"Okay, but if this boy is emiiting darkness I doubt he'll be much of a threat." Keel said not moving from his spot. Normally he wasn't the type of person to be a meidater, but he didn't feel like watching a fight break out for no reason. Unless he starts showing obvious signs of darkness, there no need to eleminate him.

After staring at the same drawing for about 10 minutes, Nikolai decided to go back to the Castle. "What's-his-face has probably left me here. Maybe I can use a portal..." he said, raising one hand. A portal did appear, but he wasn't sure if he would land at the right place. He stepped through the portal. When he emerged on the other side, he was in a dark area, a long white pathway in front of him. The path was narrow and it widened where he stood and continued behind him. He stepped backwards away from the endless-looking path, only to bump into something. Something big. He turned around to see a large yellow building with green "roofs" coming off of it in multiple directions. "Is this what the castle looks like? Wow. Friggin huge." He said as he pushed the front door open. He stepped inside the castle foyer, to see Xenree slumped in a chair and another man next to her. He was a tall, silver-haired guy. "Oh, um...Am I interrupting something?" He said, slight sarcasm in his voice.

 

Sei stood and moved in front of Carrie, his Keyblade returning to his hand. He stood there timidly for a moment before another twitch had him grinning, "If you think I'm emitting darkness...then allow me to show you you're wrong." Renee stared at the boy, shock in here brown eyes. "Tsk...I won't let your small stature dissuade me. You are nothing but evil and I'll prove it."

Xenree lifted her gaze and focused on Nikolai. "You're back. Where's Nox and my seashell?" Xemnas stood, "You've got enough energy to speak. You must have enough energy to summon back another of my Organization." Xenree cast a glare his way before staring down at her wine. "You mean...you crave the attention of your subjects more and more as time passes. You're lonely, Xemnas." He didn't deny it nor move to apologize. His yellow eyes took in Nikolai. "You there...would you have any interest in joining me? I'm not entirely sure my thirteenth member will come back from the darkness or wherever he's gone off to and I'll be short a member."

 

He stepped in front of Sei. "Get to him by getting through me. And let me tell you, that guy's tough...But I'm strong, too!" He summoned his keyblade, ready for action. "And if he truly was evil, then he'd be evil enough to backstab he literally right about...Now. Trust me. Movies tell you a lot. Except for Dunking Weezer."

 

Renee gritted her teeth and Sei shoved his way in front of Poke. "Stay out of this. It's my fight. I'm not a child!" he growled. His silver eyes glittered as he took Terra's old battle stance and rushed forward, meeting Renee's blade with his. Renee watched Sei dodge all of her attacks. Each slice she aimed for his tiny body, he jumped or slithered out of the way. "Dammit, hold still!" Sei grinned a feral grin, "You wanted to see darkness? I'll show you it. Darkness Roulette!" Three balls of darkness shot from his Keyblade and into the air. They settled around Renee and she cautiously watched each of them. One after the other, they exploded, sending Renee flying and rolling into the ground.

 

Nox opened a portal back to Castle Oblivion, gripping onto the seashell he had to fetch. He emerged into the foyer, meeting everybody in there. He didn't recognize the man next to Xenree, but he didn't believe knowing his identity would bring him any prospect. He walked straight up to Xenree, dropping the seashell into her lap. His smile was forced. "Mission's done. But, what's this have to do with anything?"

Alexander stood there observing the dilemma that was going on in front of him. He wasn't sure who was in the right or in the wrong. He could feel the darkness coming from the boy, but it didn't seem to alarm him as much as it did Renee. It wasn't until the fight started that his choice was made for him. The young boy was a lot stronger than he looked. He understood Renee's view on what was going on. "Heal," he called out, lifting his Keyblade in the direction of Renee, casting cure magic onto her. He ran to her, gripping tightly onto his Keyblade. "Are you okay?"

 

Carrie stood there, in shock watching him right the girl. Fine.. She would let him fight... but if things went south Carrie, herself would step in and fight.

Sei shuddered and pulled on his hair, "Not now...no..no...no..." Renee rubbed her shoulder and stood. "I'm alright. Thanks. This kid...I don't understand who he is."

Xenree picked up the seashell and let a small smile dance along her lips, "You did good, Nox. Your reward will come in a moment, along with a few answers." She turned to Xemnas, "You wanted a few friends? I can only do one...at a time right now... Without more World Hearts corrupted with darkness, my power wanes with all these ressurections..." Standing, Xenree breathed deeply and started for the room she'd ressurected Xemnas in. He followed close behind her, a hand on the small of her back. "Three this time. No more one at a time, Xenree." She growled low in her throat but remained silent.

Riku, Sora, Kirra and Akii stepped out into Twilight Town. Akii grinned proudly and hugged Riku's leg.

 

Carrie ran towards Sei. " Are you alright?" She whispered softly. As she waited for an answer and pointed her keyblade towards the girl's shoulder and shouted "Cure!"

 

Stepping out of the way, Keel decided to let them settle their little dispute. Guess I'l help out if things get out of hand. He thought to himself.

 

"Huh? Why are you helping me?" Renee frowned at Carrie. She could never understand others. Renee watched the little boy struggle with some inner conflict. She ran at them, shoving Carrie away from Sei.

Sei's eyes widened, his pupils tiny and lost in the expanse of silver. Why is this happening to me? Why now? Struggling, Sei lifted his Keyblade, catching Renee's blade before it could strike him down. "Just because....I'm having a little...trouble...doesn't mean...I can't still...beat you!" he panted and closed his eyes. Inside his head, a woman humming the song from the music box started up and his eyes jerked wide open.

Xenree stood on the side-lines of her circle once again with Xemnas standing beside her. The sea shell Nox had fetched for her lying in the middle of the circle. The purple glow shone bright and sweat dripped down her face. "From the Darkness beyond, I call out to the fire, light and moon. Bring back from the abyss the Flurry of Dancing Flames...the Key of Destiny...and the Lunar Diviner!" She wobbled slightly and Xemnas steadied her with a black gloved hand on her shoulder. Red, blue and blond hair started to take form from the darkness. Xenree felt her energy wavering, bordering on unstable when she finally recognized that blonde head. "Ah...that...that boy!" Roxas, Axel, and Saix opened their eyes and set sight on their new Queen and old Leader. Axel and Roxas smiled while Saix took in the sight of the rather stunning woman in black.

 

OOC: 3 fangirl moments in one day....

"Stupid Girl..." Carrie mumbled. She had only helped her becuase she felt bad that Sei had hurt her. And now the witch had the nerve to push her away. She decided to let it slide and contune to watch them.

 

He sighed, watching the battle, before he starting to wonder what would happen if he did something...stunning. "I call Chump Korrris THUNDAH!" He rose his keyblade to the air, before lightning struck down on Renee.

 

OOC: Many apologies for not posting, finals have really been time-consuming.

Nikolai contemplated taking up Xemnas's offer. He did like having other dark beings around, and he didn't have many friends in the light realm. "Uh..S-Sure, why not?" he said before Xemnas got up and followed Xenree. He assumed Xenree and Xemnas would get back to him about this "joining" thing after whatever they had left to do was done.

 

Noticing Poke cast a thunder spell, he decided to use a little magic of his own. He pointed his keyblade toward Renee and cast a reflect spell on her. "Let's their fight one on one, shall we."

 

Sora stepped out of the portal, looking at Twilight Town. Memories of his short time in Twilight Town, back when he was dealing with Xemnas and Organization XIII, flowed though his mind. This was where Kairi was taken twice, and where he learned that he had another half. "Why did you bring us here," Sora asked the little girl, holding onto Riku's leg.

"What is this placed," Kirra asked, her voice a bit shaky. Before taking another step, a circle of Shadows appeared around them.

 

Sei dropped backwards onto his rear and Renee hesitated. "I can't... I don't...what am I doing? C-Carrie?!" his frightened silver eyes turned towards his friend. Renee knelt beside him, watching him cringe backwards. "You're...under a spell... Who placed this on you?" Sei shuffled backwards, his gray hat being blown off his head by a sudden gust of wind. "Ah!"

Xenree toppled forwards and Saix caught her. "My lady...you must rest. Xemnas...it's good to see you again." Xemnas nodded and motioned for Saix to give him Xenree. With reluctance, Saix handed over the pale creature. Both Roxas and Axel opened a single dark corridor. "We're gonna go check out some of the worlds. You wanna come with us, Saix?" Xenree lifted her head, "Go...to Radient Garden... There's something there I want. Secure it for the extraction of the World Heart." Saix nodded and smoothed back her hair from her forehead. "Will do, my Lady." The three of them left into the darkness. Reappearing with a gust of wind created by clashing of power behind Carrie, Sei, Keel, Renee and Poke.

Akii shrieked and hid behind Riku as he summoned Souleater to fend off the Shadows. "Sora! No time for questions, let's handle the Heartless first."

 

Poke turned to see the members of the organization. "Oh em gee, it's the cloaked demons from 'Legends of the Hanging Noodle." He groaned, obviously showing that the 'cloaked demons' were easily hated, before readying his keyblade. "I'm going to chop you in to sushi...however that logic works...!"

 

OOC: Twilight... You are epic....

"Sei!" Carrie shouted. She started walking towards her but froze when the girl reached him first. She hung back and listened to the girl speak. "How can you help him?" She said straight away. She ran after Sei's hat and froze when she saw the three figures. She couldn;t believe her eyes... It was her best friends... Isa and Lea... They were alive! But... they had that black cloak.... That meant... They were nobodies,but all the nobodies were supposed to be dead... It made no since... "Lea?" she called out "Isa?"

 

OOC: Yes, Roxas is back.

That can't be a good thing. Keel thought as the cloaked figures showed up.
