Kingdom Hearts: Chasing Shadows

His keyblade returned--as a vehicle now. It rose up from the ground at the last second at it's hard sky dive, blowing away some heartless as it flew straight towards Poke now. He jumped on to the hoverboard and spun it around, slapping around some heartless as he spin-flew around the mob. "Whoohooo! I'm barrel rolling, and you all can't do it!" He yelled, mocking the heartless.

 

Carrie awoke suddenly. She got up from her bed and went towards the living room. She looked at the couch and saw that Sei was gone. Where did he go?! thought Carrie frantically. She changed into some clean clothes, a simple t-shirt with jeans and sneakers, and hurried out her door. She headed to the square where she saw Sei and another boy-younger then her but older then Sei- fighting heartless. "Firaga!" She called. A burst of fire appeared from her keyblade and she shot it towards the group of Heartless. "Need a hand?" She said to both of them.

 

"Guess were in Radiant Garden. You guys make it through alright?" It was his first time using his doorway after all, so he had to make sure he knew what he was doing.

 

Sei started to laugh at Poke's action and the poor attempts to hit him by the Heartless. The more he laughed the more the Heartless paused and turned to look at him. They all stopped in their tracks as Sei fell over, giggling at Poke. He stopped laughing as tears formed in his eyes and saw Heartless had taken up positions around him, as if defending him. "Huh? Wh-what's going on...?" he mumbled quietly and nervously curled up into a ball, silver eyes flicking from Heartless to Heartless. He didn't even hear Carrie since the Heartless were taller than he was and their constant shifting and clinking of armor, drowned out any sound.

Renee picked herself up from the ground and shook her head, "Let's...not do that again." She lifted her brown eyes to take in what remained of Radiant Garden. To her it was still beautiful, but a wave of ill-intent washed over her and she shuddered, "Something's not right here... There's something evil here."

 

He jumped off, kicking a heartless in the face, before the board flew back at him, as he grabbed it, twirled it around, and shot it at the heartless surrounding Sei as it turned back in to a keyblade. He jumped towards it as it zipped past Sei, as he stepped on the end of it(Not the handle), letting the handle rise up and him grabbing it, before spinning around, yelling out the spell, "FI-YAH!" Flames surrounded him, burning away the heartlesses.

 

"You have any idea where it's comming from?" He asked her. Aparently fromthe way see reacted on comming out of the doorway, she either wasn't used to it or he did something wrong.

 

Carrie ran towards the heartless as they started to surround Sei. "Get the hell away from him!" She shouted. She counted to attack them and called out " Thundara" To defeat more of them.

 

Sei covered his head as hearts flew up from the Heartless and magic sparking around. The rest of the Heartless cast him one last look and dashed off into the darkness. He shivered, "Wh-what happened? Why didn't they attack me?"

"Um...th-that way!" Renee shivered and pointed off towards where Sei, Carrie and Poke were fighting. "C'mon!" she dashed off towards the battle.

 

Carrie approached Sei and wrapped her arms around him. "I have no idea... But at least your safe-that's all that matters,"

 

Nikolai was slowly becoming more and more intrigued by the mansion he was in. The place was huge, and there were a couple doors up the stairs. "Hmm...Wonder what's up there?" He thought as he went up one of the staircases. He went through one of the doors, where he found a white room that reminded him of Castle Oblivion. The room also had pictures lining the walls. While he didn't recognize most of them, there was one that stood out, and it was one that had a person on it that resembled the other boy who was with him when he was with Maleficent; Riku. In the picture, there was Riku, a blonde haired girl and a brown, spiky haired boy. "What the...What's he doing on these drawings?"

"Hey, wait up." Keel shouted running after her. Without knowing what to expect after just getting here, he wouldn't want to run into a trap.

 

The smell of the ocean hadn't grown on Nox; it was absolutely repulsive to his nose. He walked along the beach, grumbling to himself. In five minutes, he found a small sea shell that drifted in from the water. "I don't get why she likes this crap anyway," Nox said to himself as he picked up the sea shell. Not wanting to be spotted by anyone, he quickly opened up a portal, to make his way back to castle oblivion.

Alexander heard the sound of fighting and quickly ran off, his Keyblade in hand. He saw a group of people being attacked by the heartless. Out of instinct, he quickly did a sliding dash, destroying one of the soldier heartless. "You guys okay," Alexander called out before casting thunder magic.

 

Sei nodded carefully, "Yeah...I'm okay." His mind was still focused on the Heartless' odd behavior when he saw Alexander, Renee and Keel come running. "Uh...Carrie...we have company."

Renee stopped, staring at the little boy with silver hair, He can't be the source of what I felt...it's just a child. Renee shook her head and yet still followed her heart. The child was a source of danger. She lifted her Keyblade and pointed it at the boy. "I...I'm sorry...b-but...you're a threat. I don't know why, but you are."

Xenree slumped back into her chair in the foyer of Castle Oblivion. She didn't dare visit the boy while Xemnas sat beside her, inquiring politely about the situation of the worlds. "You say the worlds have been at peace for the past two years? And now all because of you...the Heartless, Unversed and a new form of creatures come forth to serve you." She nodded, swirling a glass of wine and he smiled, "Interesting."

 

Carrie stepped in front of Sei and said. "I don't know who the hell you think you are, little girl," Carrie drew her own keyblade and held it in front of it. "If you touch a hair on his dead, I can promise you that you won't live long," she said snarling.

 

By the time Keel had caught up to Renee, she had her keyblade pointed at a little kid while someone else had there keyblade at her. "Hold up you two. Now, anyone want to tell me what's going on." Keel said moving between Carrie and Renee.

 

"I have no idea," snarled Carrie. "Why don't you ask your friend why she's trying to attack Sei,"

 

OOC: Quick Question before I post: Would Nikolai be able to use a dark portal to get back to Castle Oblivion?

 

"I thought you said you found where the dark energy was coming from." Keel questioned.

Renee took a deep breath and nodded, "I did. Though...I don't like my own decision. The boy is emitting the darkness. Apparently this girl can't feel it." She lowered her Keyblade only to take a battle stance similar to Aqua's. "Now, move out of my way. This is for the safety of Radient Garden."

Sei stood and looked down at himself, "You think...I'm emitting darkness? How strange...."

 

"Touch him and you will die," Carrie growled. She would not let this crazy girl hurt Sei. She'd lost to many people already and there was no way in hell she would let this crazy bitch hurt him-or anyone else.
