Kingdom Hearts: Broken Sky

"Agreed." Keiko slashed one more heartless and was about to head to the castle when suddenly the heartless stopped showing up. She looked around in surprise. "What-!?!" What had happened? Drew and Ric looked at each other. "What a day this turned out to be," They were thinking.

 

"Lets get out of here." Cyphus said turning to Keiko, "How do we get to other worlds?"

Kyler was getting frustrated. "You don't really believe in those old fairy tales they told us about in school do you, Cyphus?" Kyler smiled at his big brother. Kyler's smile was so different then Cyphus's, cold and sarcastic. "I mean..." Kyler looked around at Keiko still smiling. "How do you know this girl isn't crazy? You were always inclined to believe pretty girls, but this is ridiculous."

Cyphus blushed and stared at the floor.

Keiko blushed too, but more urgent matters demanded her attention. "Well, I've heard that there are many ways to travel between worlds, but the only way I know of is to ride the Lanes Between on your Keyblade." Drew looked at her for a moment, and Ric spoke for them both. "What?" he barked. "What the heck are lanes between?" Keiko summoned her keyblade, which she had put away after the heartless left. "Well, you have to throw it in the air," She demonstrated. It flew high up into the sky, and then came down and transformed into the small ship that had crash-landed earlier. "And then you get on, like this. It's supposed to be dangerous to ride the Lanes between without armor, but I don't know how to make that yet, so we'll just have to hope for the best." Ric grunted. "And you're supposed to be our leader." Drew tried to keep the fear from his voice. "What would happen if... something happened and we don't have armor?" Keiko shrugged. "I don't know. I didn't exactly have time to study before I had to leave my world."

 

Cyphus transformed his keyblade into a bike as well, and hopped on. He gave Drew his most carefree smile and said "we'll never know intel we try. I say we live a little and help Keiko to stop the darkness." Cyphus looked down on his little brother. "Will you come too, Kyler?"

Kyler grimanced. "I-i don't even have a key sword thing, how am I supposed to get around? I don't even know whats going on."

 

Drew still didn't like the idea of flying around in space where anything could happen. He turned to Gexln. "Do you know another way to travel around?" But Ric was already on his transport. His keyblade had turned into another "giant floating skateboard", as Drew had called it. "Oh, don't be such a wuss, Drew." He said. "It'll be fun, and nothing's gonna happen to ya." Drew looked over at Gexln, but, not wanting to be a wimp, he threw his keyblade up into the air. It came back down and he climbed on. It was different from Ric's and Keiko's. Theirs were like skateboards, which Drew hated and couldn't stand up on, let alone ride. And it didn't look like Cyphus's moterbike type either. It had a place for Drew to stand on and then a steering mechanism in front for him to hold. If he had known of it, he would have compared it to a certain Master Aqua's blade from all those years ago.

 

Kyler had been hoping Gexlin would find some other way to travel as well. He didn't like the idea of being left behind. Kyler turned and started walking away when a keyblade appeared in his hand. Kylers keyblade was shiny and black and gold. It had a certain regal serius look that the others keyblades lacked. Kyler had barely heard Cypus say, cheerily, that now no one would be left behind before he was tossing his keyblade into the air just like Cyphus and the others had. It was more like a scooter then anything else, but it was seamless and had rounded corners. He hoped on to it and looked expectantly at Keiko. "Well, how do you expect us to get to other worlds? Are you going to open a portel? Or do we just fly into the sky untel we hit outer space?"

 

"Umm, I'm not sure." Keiko answered. "That's how I did it the first time, so I guess we could try again." Keiko was trying hard to remember how she had escaped last time. It had seemed like she just flew into space, but that might have had something to do with the fact that her world was collapsing. Maybe she hadn't flown into space at all. Maybe space had come to her in place of Radient Gardens. But there was no time to think on that now. "So... is everybody ready?"

 

Walking up Matt said "Pointless, you aren't going to get anywhere if your trying to stop something it's pointless your just killing yourself but just to see you don't die to quickly you can thank me later."

 

Ric snorted and said "Thank you for what?" Then Drew coughed and said quickly "Uh, sorry about that. But, uh, what do you mean? Do you know a different way to get between worlds?"

 

Laughing Matt said "Dark corridor,space travel, otherwise you have to use extreme darkness or light to travel between worlds but why do you want to leave."

 

Keiko looked at Matt. "We are going to leave so we can try to save the worlds from being destroyed. We might not be able to stop it, but we can at least try our best. And if we fail, we fail! But then it's because we weren't good enough, not because we didn't try. You don't have to come with us, but if we don't stop Kira, She will release the darkness on every world, including yours. No one will be saved, and I can't just sit around and let that happen."

OOC: sorry for getting a little sappy there. lol, I also added a movie quote in that post. Anyone (other than jojojojo97) know what it is?

 

"Lets just get going." Cyphus said. "If there is a easyier way to travel can you please do it so that we don't waste time." Even as Cyphus spoke the ground seemed to shake and more heartless arrived. Kyler and Cyphus pulled farther up into the air. "Lets leave now." Said Kyler, "If we're going to go then lets just go."

 

Keiko rose higher in the air as well. "Come on, Drew. It's not that bad." Ric soared up into the sky and called down to Drew. "If you don't get yourself up here right now, I'm gonna come down and get you, and you'll have to fly with ME." Drew looked up at him. "You would not, liar." But he rose slowly up into the air till he was next to Keiko. She smiled, then looked down at the people still on the ground. "You coming?"

 

Floating up behind the rest of the group Matt asked "Where are we going first."

 

Cyphus looked over at Keiko and tried to make an encourageing face, but inside he was filled with doubt. Did she even know where to go? When Keiko had first arrived in Weilders Grove she hadn't known where she was or how she got there. Could she really lead them? Cyphus glanced at Kyler and saw the same fears in his brothers eyes.

 

Keiko frowned. "I didn't think we could control it," she admitted. "I thought your Keyblade knew where to go and you were just along for the ride. That's how I ended up here, and that seemed to work out." Drew looked at her. "You mean you don't know how to fly this thing?!?" Ric zoomed over next to Drew and hit him on the back. "Oh, don't be a wuss," he said. "Where's your sense of adventure?" Drew turned to Ric. "Hm. I don't know." he said sarcastisally. "He didn't show up 'cause commen sense doesn't like him!"

 

"Wow you can't answer a simple question, idiots." said Matt as he sped up.

 

Keiko glared at Matt. "I thought I had answered your question. I didn't know you could control where you go. In other words, I didn't know we could choose where we go first. I didn't even know there were other worlds until yesterday. So I don't know where we'll go first. That answer your question?" Then Ric zoomed over to Matt. "Yeah, and I don't like you callin' us idiots!"

 

"and I don't like you so were even like it matters if you didn't know about other worlds who did you know about this enemy and I don't care what you think." said Matt.
